More cast cutting from the soaps today. ABC Daytime has confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that Brittany Underwood (Langston) has been let-go by the series and the decision was storyline-dictated. Langston is now set for an exit this spring.
Underwood first appeared on the canvas as a wayward teenager who Dorian took under her wing and eventually adopted. So where does this leave Ford and an on-screen romantic interest for his portrayer, David Gregory ? Stay tuned!

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.
In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.
However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.
Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall. It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.
With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.
So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”
You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.
Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.

Although i love OLTL, I am always surprised by who they let go!
My opinion, not a good move. It sounds like the writers are doing it in reverse. We wanted the Fords gone, not all of Starr’s best friends.
Langston was playing an awesome role w/ Markko. Along w/ her friends Starr and Cole. They had a good inner circle.. But when they brought the Fords in, that ruined the whole show. And because of these ignorant writers. Gives me no regret for the fact that all the ABC Soaps were taken off the air.
perhaps if enough of us post comments, ABC will change their minds. I hope we find out more as to why she is being let go.
come on! I think it is horrible that OLTL is letting Brittany go. I’m so over this soap.
I think this is the best idea because I have never cared for Langston. I don’t mind the Ford brothers and I think I will like Ford even more if he is paired with someone else. The Langston pairing seemed forced and she should have been with Markko still. When she was with Markka I could tolerate her a little.
I just started watching this show and the best character is Langston.
Why? This is not fair. Langston needs to stay.
If Brittany Underwoods exit is storyline-dictated and the Ford brothers are sticking around. My guess is Langton killed Eddie.
Langston should not be leaving to prop the Ford brothers and in no way should she have killed Eddie. What a disgrace these writers would be. She is a wonderful character all on her own and Brittany has portrayed her beautifully over the years. I cannot stand by this terrible decision to fire the talented, young actress. Langston should be sticking around.
I really can’t believe they are letting Brittany go. What in the world are they thinking??? What about getting rid of the new girl Aubrey… she’s a pointless character or Marty who hasn’t been that great of a character since after she came back from the dead. Then Susan Haskell could take on for The ABC team and move to California so Thorsten could fo back to All My Children. OR even Echo??? Rex already has a mom who is much more intresting by the name of Roxy. They could even het rid of Inez, make her really respnsible for her ex-husband’s murder and give al of the Ford brother’s some emotional scenes as their mother is carted off to jail. It could make for some great scenes and now that there’s no way she could cause truble for Bo and Nora anymore there’s no real reason for her to stick around. And what are they going to do with Ford now… the only real redeeming part of him was his relationship with Langston. And she’s such an intregal part of The Cramer Family… and the only young woman is Starr’s age group. Who is she going to talk to now? I’m really upset about this decision!!! ABC and OLTL are making a big mistake.
ABC and OLTL you are making a big mistake. The best idea is to get rid of Susan Haskell so Thorsten can go back to AMC………………..
this is so stupid! adding other people and kicking off the main characters is very very stupid. oltl is going to lose viewers!!
I don’t understand why they would do this. She’s very talented and I’ve come to think of her as a real Kramer. I’ve always kind of preferred her to Starr. She’s been a lot spunkier. Will be sad to see her go.
I agree. Langston was such an interesting character and she should have been around for a long time. I am beyond sad to see her go.
The whole “Ford brothers” thing started with Langston. They wrote her horribly to facilitate this relationship with Ford and demolished her beautiful story with Markko. Then they decide not to even write for Ford/Langston. For the past few months, they’ve gotten nothing. So now Langston is the one to go, and not Ford? Why? Because he has abs? This news has been hard to take ever since I heard it. She was an amazing female character that could be looked up to & Brittany rocked the role. OLTL is on my hate list.
Agreed. I loved the character of Langston when she was with Markko. She was a spunky, interesting nonconformist. I HATE all three of the Ford brothers, and since Langston’s forced pairing with Ford, she’s turned into just another dull, horny nondescript teen character. As the writers have ruined the character, I’m now not that sorry to see her go.
I actually like all of the Fords….except Nate. Inez is a recurring character, but her arc seems to be over. I do not agree that being with Ford ruined Langston. I believed her motivation for wanting to explore outside of her safe first love. It happens all of the time. She is not the first to move on to a hotter guy. Poor writing has ruined her character. Ford should not have been so easily redeemed. That is why we have James….the anti-Ford Ford brother. I am sorry for the actress, but her character is completely not necessary to the show. I’d prefer more time for the adults. The teen stories are always unbearable. The character most ruined is Dani. She had such a strong energy when she showed up. She was different. Now she is just Nate’s girlfriend. Nate and Inez can leave town, but leave Ford and James. Now that Ford is the father of Jess’ baby, maybe we will see the return of his bad side.
Of course I want Langston to stay and get the character investment she deserves as opposed to newbies I could care less about. The character is 19, hardly an age of limited storytelling possibilities. She has connections and a past to work with. As a female, I tend to invest in female characters but I’m realizing that is the wrong way to go with these soaps.
I love Langston 🙁
Please re-consider the exit of Langston.
Keep Brittany on the show! Langston is a great young character and I’ve absolutely been a fan since she first came on. This is just awful. Man do I wish they would undo this.
From the start, I felt like they were tossing both Langston & Markko to showcase Ford. Markko was gone, and Langston was used to prop until they could move on with plans. That has made me tune out.
That is exactly what they did, much to my sadness. It was uncalled for.
