Bryan Craig Teases ‘Who Could It Be’ in Response to General Hospital’s Returning Mystery Man
Since General Hospital’s executive producer, Frank Valentini dropped a major bombshell of what’s to come on the long-running daytime drama at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, the guessing games have begun of just what former GH actor is returning to the cast this summer.
Speaking with ABC’s On The Red Carpet, as previously reported, Valentini shared, “A former cast member is coming back. And I think that the audience will go crazy for HIM.”
That has led to major online speculation that it could be anyone from: Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky), Greg Vaughn (ex-Lucky), Ted King (ex-Lorenzo Alcazar), Nicholas Chavez (ex-Spencer), and Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan) among others, that might be the gentlemen being referenced.

On Wednesday, responding to a post on the subject from Soap Opera Digest, Bryan Craig commented, “Who could it be ….” Now, clearly he can just be having some fun with the situation to throw fans off-track, or he might be giving us a tease of what’s to come.
Before exiting GH, the actor won two Daytime Emmys for his performances as Morgan Corinthos in 2016 and 2017. Craig appeared on GH from 2013-2016 and made a return in 2018. Since departing GH, Bryan has appeared most recently in Freeform’s Good Trouble and ABC’s Grand Hotel, plus several independent films.
The character of Morgan was killed-off the show when Olivia Jerome set a bomb that exploded in the car that Morgan got into, but was meant to kill Olivia’s brother Julian Jerome. Morgan’s death caused a huge split in the relationship of Carly and Sonny.
So, do you think Bryan Craig is just having fun with the audience, or do you think it’s possible he is the big return Frank Valentini is talking about? Comment below.

I think it would be great fun to see Bryan return as Morgan! I also think that Roger coming back as Franco would be great, William as Cameron, Ted as Lorenzo, or Jonathan as Lucky, too.
Morgan’s return was always inevitable, since no body was found, and he’s never been down here in Hell. But his return would be welcomed especially right now, because he might be the only one who could truly get through to an unmedicated Sonny, having inherited the same mental issues himself.
Naturally, Morgan would suspect Ava of being the one who tampered with Sonny’s meds, since she did exactly that to him, which is how he ended up in Julian’s exploding car. He would definitely confront Ava about it, which would force her to come clean about what she knows, or else take the blame for it. And we all know she ain’t about to do that!
If Morgan’s alive and does return… i hope it is addressed how he has been getting his medication..
Agree
That would be great.
If they’re bring back Lucky Spencer, my vote goes to Greg Vaughan. He did an excellent job as the adult Lucky. But, he’s busy with Days. If not him, then Jacob Young. He is an excellent choice as well.
I’m not a Morgan fan so I would prefer Lucky or another
Just resurrect every character who has died. Why, hello there, Steve Hardy! Wait, is that Lila Quartermaine? Heck, bring back BJ too!
BJ returned as a ghost during the Bobbi tribute. It was borderline cheesy, but it fit the circumstances. She could only be a ghost though. A little difficult to walk around as a mortal with no heart.
As for Steve & Lila. Yeah right. That’s not going to happen, and Frank Valentini knows he would be out of a job if he even attempted such a thing. It was bad enough when they pretended to bring back “Frank Smith” for Luke’s exit story with an actor who was 30 years too young for the part. But then that entire storyline was a disaster, and it got ReRon fired.
Good stuff as always, Satan! But I will quibble with you on one point: BJ returned as an angel (“Angela Brighton”), not a ghost. I suspect that, as Satan, you probably don’t have much use for angels. — Actually, weren’t you one yourself in your original form?!
James
Since we’re on the topic of deceased characters… I spoke with a former cast member at a Hollywood signing show last weekend. Brooke Bundy (not your favorite Diana Taylor) was quite charming as we reflected on the famous lazy susan scene. She expressed an interest in doing GH fan shows at which I’d know she’d be welcomed warmly.
OMG, OG Steve! What a wonderful experience you had speaking with Brooke Bundy in person! So nice to hear what a charming person she is. By all means, she would indeed be welcomed warmly at GH fan shows and, as such, should be enlisted. GH has a rich history, and that definitely includes Bundy. Thank you for sharing your experience with me (and the community). Take care, Friend!

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
