Cheri Oteri On Reprising Barbara Walters Impression on CNN’s NYE With Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper: “I Felt Like a Kid Going into My Brother’s Fort, Making Them Laugh Then Going Back to Watching The Young and Restless”

If there was ever a good way to say goodbye to the dreadful year of 2020, why not do it with the iconic host of the news-magazine show, 2020, herself, Barbara Walters, well sort of.

Those watching CNNs New Years Eve with hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, who were a bit sloshed, and who got a kick out of their guests, had perhaps the best time with Saturday Night Live alum, Cheri Oteri, who was back reprising her impression of Walters as she did the previous year on the telecast.

However, this time appeared even more side-splitting and laugh-a-minute, which had Anderson in stitches and capped off 2020 before the ball dropped in Times Square

Fast forward to Tuesday, and Oteri retweeted and responded to a tweet from Anderson Cooper’s 360 account, which had the clip of her performance and Andy and Anderson losing it.

Cheri responded by tweeting: “I felt like a kid going into my brother’s fort, making them laugh then going back to watching The Young and Restless.”  That alone made the whole thing even funnier.   Is Oteri a fan of Y&R?

Watch the segment from New Year’s Eve with Cheri, Anderson and Andy below.

Now let us know what you thought of Oteri’s impression of Walters and her referencing The Young and the Restless via the comment section.

Would have been better without Andy.

Cheri, thank you for the comedy, both as Barbara Walters and for making me think you are willingly watching The Young and the Restless.

Cheri’s great, as BaBa Walters, or anything else. Clip would have been better without the giggling old broads in the background.

Will AMC Favorite Josh Duhamel Replace Armie Hammer in JLo’s Film, ‘Shotgun Wedding’?

After a controversial few weeks, which saw Armie Hammer exit his leading role opposite Jennifer Lopez in Liongate’s upcoming romantic-comedy/adventure film Shotgun Wedding, it appears the motion picture has found its replacement if the ink is signed.

Former All My Children and Daytime Emmy winner Josh Duhamel (Ex-Leo) has been picked as Hammer’s replacement.

The film tells the story of a couple that gathers their families for a destination wedding even as they get cold feet. If that wasn’t enough, the entire party then gets taken hostage.

Lopez and Hammer were headed for the film shoot in the Dominican Republic when salacious DM’s rumored to be attributed to  Hammer came to light on social media and derailed the films for now.  However, if Duhamel signs on to the film, they could can retain its start date in February

Hammer had responded to the allegations against him and the DM’s by sharing: “I’m not responding to these bullshit claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic,”

A Lionsgate spokesperson  also responded to Hammer and his exit sharing: “Given the imminent start date of Shotgun Wedding, Armie has requested to step away from the film, and we support him in his decision.”

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the casting news update.

So what do you think of Duhamel as Hammer’s replacement to play opposite JLO? Comment below.
