Come On Down! Y&R's Kristoff St. John & Mishael Morgan Preview Neil and Hilary's The Price Is Right Experience … Is Love In The Air?

Courtesy/CBS
Tomorrow on the Wednesday March 26th episode of The Young and the Restless, Genoa City’s Neil Winters and Hilary Curtis, who have ventured to Los Angeles on a business trip, end up smack dab in the middle of the audience of the number one game show, The Price is Right! And Hilary gets to “come on down”!
Will Hilary win big? Will Neil find this woman who once loathed him irresistible? Will they hang out with TPIR host, Drew Carey in this CBS crossover?
On-Air On-Soaps spoke with Kristoff St. John (Neil) and Mishael Morgan (Hilary) about what is happening between their two characters! Are sparks going to fly now that Neil’s last attempt at love fizzled with Leslie (Angell Conwell)? Read on to find out their thoughts on the matter, and how on earth they end up on the most popular game show ever!
Neil and Leslie’s relationship just hit the skids when they did not say their, “I do’s”. So, what’s a guy to do? Head to L.A. with a beautiful young woman and play America’s number one game show?

Courtesy/CBS
KRISTOFF: First of all, Neil is upset about the proceedings that happened in his life. He was hoping it would go as planned. It didn’t happen, and so now he is potentially on the prowl. His broken heart is quickly repairing; because evidently a day or two after the break-up, he is making plans with Hilary to possibly make her his future ex-wife! (Laughs)
How and why do Hilary and Neil end up on The Price is Right?
MISHAEL: Because it’s Hilary’s big dream, and Neil makes it come true.
Neil pulled some strings and got them some tickets? Or, did they wait in line like everyone else hoping to make it into the studio audience? (Laughs)
KRISTOFF: Well, Neil and Hilary are on a business trip that Jack sent us on from Genoa City. This is because we need to discuss things with Forrester Creations, so there is another crossover with The Bold and the Beautiful! So, we have this new line by Chelsea that we are about to premiere at the fashion show that is upcoming on Y&R. We are in L.A on business and in the middle of our business, Hilary does say, “I would like to go to see The Price is Right,” and then Neil, who probably knows The Price is Right host, Drew Carey, gets Drew on the phone because they are best buddies, and he gets them the audience seats.

Now on tomorrow’s episode of Y&R, Hilary gets to “come on down” and play the one an only, Plinko?
MISHAEL: Yes, and isn’t Plinko everybody’s favorite game?
Here’s the thing: I thought Hilary and Neil hated each other. When did the tide turn? Well, you know how that goes on soaps, where there is hate … there is passion!
MISHAEL: Neil is coming around. He got Hilary a job with Jack (Peter Bergman). I know Hilary was nasty to him before, but I think he liked that about me! He probably thought it was kinky. (Laughs)
KRISTOFF: Honestly, Neil was enraged at her, but you know, “forgiveness” is a wonderful word, and “acceptance” and “tolerance” are some others. When Neil looked at Hilary closely, he realized how broken she was, and under repair at the time. I think he potentially felt he could be a savior, and maybe someone who for the first time in her life, she was able to express her feelings with, and cry about it, and release all of the upset she had been going through. I think that is what has happened between them.

But Devon (Bryton James) likes Hilary, and there lies a major conflict!
MISHAEL: Yeah, I think he does. I do see that the guys could be fighting over her, which could be interesting. But, Hilary looks up to Neil.
Everybody looks up to Neil!
KRISTOFF: No! (Laughs) Neil is Mr. Boring, milquetoast, stand up guy! He does have an image he has to uphold and that is an image that happens to Neil/KSJ. I am just waiting to bust out of this “Superman” suit that is worn, and let people see the other side of Neil.
Hilary was recently kissing Jack! She sure is getting around. What’s driving her?
MISHAEL: Yes, she gets around!
KRISTOFF: She is a floozy! (Laughs)
MISHAEL: Hilary is attracted to power and ambition and all these great things that these great man have. She wants to be out there with them and be in that world.

Courtesy/CBS
KRISTOFF: Well … the powers right here in the form of … “Steel Winters”! (Laughs)
Kristoff, does it bother you that they have paired you with different women over the more recent years on Y&R (post-Drucilla), and none of the pairings have stuck? Do you think that Hilary and Neil have the potential to be a winning combo?
KRISTOFF: I do feel that way. I do feel there is a real juxtaposition tweak, where you have Neil this very straight-laced guy and she is straight-laced too, but because they hated each other at the beginning, this could be a romance of a lifetime, or it may implode. But to answer the other question, because Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) left Neil’s life none can compare in the eye of the audience and that is the problem. I lost my supercouple status when she walked out the door. It’s very difficult to replace that other half of a supercouple on soaps. That is why they haven’t been able to match the character very well with anyone. I feel that this could be the second time with Mishael, and actually, I thought Nia Peeples (Ex-Karen) when she was here was on the mark. And Angell Conwell (Leslie), I love working with. I know there was chemistry there. I just don’t think the audience was in full support of it.
Mishael, after Hilary’s original machinations and revenge tactics that brought her to Genoa City, the character could have been easily been written off the canvas. But instead, which is a testament to you, Y&R gave you a contract and it looks like know they are anchoring you to another story, where you could have been lost in the mix.

MISHAEL: I could be floating around. I am ecstatic to have this story and to be at Y&R.
I assume you don’t want Hilary to just become a “goody-girl” now.
MISHAEL: I don’t want her to be a total “goody-girl”. I want her to have that fire. I think that fire is what always makes the Neil character more interesting within a couple’s scenario, because he is so straight laced. So that fire is necessary to draw things out and you know the old saying, “Opposites Attract”? So, it’s cool. We will see where it goes.
Last word Kristoff, on Neil and Hilary’s trip to L.A?
KRISTOFF: The last word is … while Neil and Hilary are in Los Angeles; I think they are having a wonderful time, not even approaching the romantic side of their relationship yet. But I think all of it would take is a Jacuzzi, a bottle of wine and a twenty-five cent quarter bed at a cheap motel and it’s on and popping!

MISHAEL: You are unbelievable! (Laughs)
Ditto to that scenario, Mishael?
MISHAEL: Ditto. (Laughs)
So, what do you think of a Neil/Hilary pairing? Do you think these two would make a hot couple on Y&R? Do you think that it won’t matter who they put Neil with because no one can compete with the Neil/Drucilla pairing? Will you be tuning into to see what happens tomorrow when Neil and Hilary visit The Price is Right? Let us know your thoughts below!

General Hospital
GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”
Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.”
So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.
Guiding Light
‘Guiding Light’s’ Grant Aleksander Shares Heartfelt Remembrance of TV Daughter, Hayden Panettiere On What Would Have Been Her 37th Birthday

The tragic death of Hayden Panettiere last Sunday on August 21 continues to rock the entertainment world as her passing is still under investigation. Sadly, the former Guiding Light and Nashville star, died just days before her 37th birthday.
Now Grant Aleksander who played her on-screen father, Phillip Spaulding on Guiding Light a role he played on and off for nearly 30 years, shared a touching tribute with The Locher Room via Instagram, to his former TV daughter on her birthday on Friday, August 21.
It was back in 1996-2000 that Panettiere played the role of Phillip and Beth’s (Beth Chamberlin) daughter, Lizzie Spaulding. When Hayden was on-screen her performances were outstanding even as a little girl.

Photo: CBS
Aleksander began, When I think of Hayden the first image that comes is of her running down the hall in the studio with a huge, toothy grin on her face. Literally bursting with joy. And that’s what she gave to us. Pure, infectious joy. That and a talent that belied her years.”
“She was a natural with an instinctive understanding of acting that most adult actors can only dream of possessing. But that’s not what I’ll remember most about her. It’s that sunshine she brought to all of us that were lucky enough to be in her orbit that will stay with me, expressed Grant.
He concluded with, “I’ll always cherish the years I got to be her tv Dad. I wish I could have seen her one more time just to tell her how proud I was of her. She’s left us way too soon. We can only hope that she’s finally found the peace that eluded her in her short life. Rest in peace Princess!”
Michael Fairman TV previously shared emotional tributes from many of Hayden’s co-stars here, plus Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GH and ex-Avery, Nashville) who wrote a beautiful tribute to his former co-star.
So, do you remember the scenes between a young Lizzie and Phillip on Guiding Light? What did you think of Grant Aleksander’s words? Let us know via the comment section below. Here’s just a sampling below, of how great Hayden was with her scene partner, Grant.

I dont watch this show much…just a few episodes a month…Hilary is beautiful but seems like a social climber…Dru was the only true woman for Neil…this is why all others fail…No Lady Luck Neil should remain single…imo!!!
I miss Drucilla
I love Hilary for Jack
I think this would be interesting instead of that what’s her name they were pairing him with. Neil/kristoff is so handsome. 😉
he’s the cats’ meow – A stud – growed in to his own….
it’s interesting… that.. for all the hoopla… of no Drucilla
That Neil Winters has remained : vibrant
and that’s telling something… regardless of lack of – any thing… and story line (s)
he’s a mainstay that Genoa City needs to relish… cultivate…
the fans certainly know he’s All That
he’s survived without… Dru… and mindless story….
I swear : the last time I found Neil, interesting… was perhaps when he was working at Newman enterprises; was with Drucilla; and was romancing Ashley….
so, it’s pretty clear he’s gone without for “many” years
he’s a grown up sexy alluring man… with maturity… and worthy
geez! I’ve recommended that perhaps him and Drucilla… bilk Devon of his billions.. why not… what does Genoa City have to lose…. that they haven’t already
P.S. Neil is “SO” handsome
They bore me. FF through scenes yesterday of them discussing March madness. It’s bad enough soaps interrupt my shows, but to then discuss the stuff that interrupts the shows: WRONG!
Loved when B&B’s Pam and Donna went to TPIR. I doubt this will be as good.
I went to a taping of TPIR and had a great time.
This show just hit a new low. They will do ANYTHING to force these unlikeable characters down the viewers thraots. I dont watch much anymore and this is exactly why.
My goodness this girl, and I mean girl is young enough to be his daughter and you guys are talking about pairing them up as couple. It was bad enough with Leslie who was quite young for Neil, now Hilary? No, no no, a thousand times no. Also didn’t he have a one night stand with her mother? If they hook Neil up with this child then I will be switching to another channel whenever they are on. And for the same reasons I don’t want to see her with Jack– make these characters look like dirty old men lusting after minors. But at least Jack will be paired with Kelly, a better match. Neil does need a story, but not a romance with Hilary.
I hope MF headlines.. when Cady McClain is set to make her debut…. I would tune in to see her garnering attention… how much she resonates within the canvas
LOL… i’m sorry that TPTB continually showcase… older – OLD – too old… little men… gallivanting… to and fro.
it’s embarrassing… from a male perspective…. as well
Lord knows: Victor is cryptic… spooky… peculiar… idiotic
“sorry” isn’t he …. LOL… I truly feel for MTS
Isn’t it time for Drucilla to climb up over that cliff? I know she is difficult but really isn’t everybody?
ahh this one is stupid even for Y&R ..
c’mon on down!! lol wth ..
Hillary is too personality young for Neil / not good ..
Y&R writing needs an adrenalin shot or some good weed lol ..
So damn stupid, and silly!! Can’t the writers come up with something better for KSJ??? He’s been on Y&R for a long time Game shows and crying over a woman who doesn’t want to marry him, PLEASE!!
Haha.. So true.
Seriously. KSJ is a better actor than this tripe allows him to demonstrate. How many failed relationships is this character going to rack up? Hilary is obviously NOT “the one” for Neil, though I think she could bring Devon out of his seemingly eternal funk. But, eeew-are we going to have to endure a father/son/(maybe)daughter triangle? AGAIN?
Neil and Hilary appearing on The Price Is Right????? Really????? Are those idiot Y&R writers that damn desperate for storyline material?!?!?! A few years ago, when B&B’s Pam and Donna appeared on TPIR…that actually MADE SENSE!!!!! Pam and Donna were so naturally comical during their TPIR experience…fighting and snapping and sniping at one another the whole and entire time…LOL!!!!! But…as for Neil and Hilary appearing on TPIR…No Thank You. DESPERATE AND DUMB AS HELL!!!!!
Poor Kristoff St. John. This storyline sounds utterly dreadful. Another love triangle with Devon–didn’t that already play out when they both hooked up with the same woman? And as for TPIR–I found it amusing when MAB ripped off her brother-in-law’s storylines, but shouldn’t we be past all that now? Or will Victor and Nikki dress up as King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and compete for prizes on “Let’s Make a Deal”?
If JFP does the latter, I really deserve some royalties. *cringes at the possibilities*
I can’t be certain, but I suspect these crossovers are more the networks doing than JFP. Of course maybe previous EPs had a spine and told the network no when asked to promote other CBS shows on the soap and JFP doesn’t. Maybe that is why they hired her because she was willing to be a corporate puppet and prostitute the show for cross promotion, including all that basketball talk because CBS is airing the games. But either way I really think it is the network doing this stuff, including the time it happened on B&B. GH did with the Chew as well. It is sad that story line gets sacrifice on the altar of corporate greed, but it just might be the price of staying on air the soaps now have to pay.
Or will Victor and Nikki dress up as King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and compete for prizes on “Let’s Make a Deal”?
I would PAY to watch THAT.
Victor: “I’m the Sun King, okay? I’m here to win cash and prizes, okay?”
Crap like this is harder for me to believe than evil twins and secret cult babies.
Neil and Hillary on a game show, Avery entering a cooking contest, Leslie joining a dating site, (and you know that Colin is going to turn out to be the secret love child of Katherine’s father and Rachel Berenson making him Katherine’s half brother and an heir to her fortune) — new lows for a show that is already near the bottom creatively.
This is as idiotic and self promoting as the time GH put their characters on The Chew. How pointless and boring. Ratings will hit an all time low tomorrow as it looks like this snooze fest will dominate the show.
Harry…MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!!!! It’s like DESPERATION GONE W-I-L-D…LOL!!!!! Yep.
With each and every “Come on down!”, Y&R goes down, down, down!!!
In my world,
ALL the couples of Y&R are horrible.
We should put them all on ‘craigs list’ and hook them up with someone interesting lol ..
LOL
even i’m scared of “craigs list” and steer clear
Noooo Neil.. Hilary belongs w/ devon and you witth yolanda/harmony (or someone new like her charracter). Plzzz y&r no more painful scenes and cheesy sets like the airplane and showing everyones house att the beginning of a scene.. When and whhyy did thatt all startt? #WasteOfTime
I just can’t believe that Neil is so chummy with the woman that set out to hurt his daughter! And no Neil wasn’t furious with HillAnn he didn’t seemed phased at all by what she did. Lily and Cane bore the brunt of her revenge and they never even knew her mama! A father that would betray his daughter like this is a disgrace. Neil and Devon fighting over this woman isn’t must see TV.
ITA!!
Until these character are written to stand on their own merit (especially HilAnn) I have no interest in these characters or their s/ls.
Hillary was hella funny today on price is right playing plinko lmao!!
I actually hope the actors are just leaving the audience wondering about a Neil/Hilary pairing. It would be a bad idea to hook these two up romantically for more reasons than one. I know KSJ wants to remain on Y&R, but it would be horrible to pair him with Hilary. I was actually liking him with Leslie, but they rarely had a story. It also was obvious that Devon and a Hillary were a potential pairing. It would not be interesting in watching father and son fighting over a woman. We’ve seen this before with Tyra. If the writers go this route, it’ll further prove they don’t care how they write for these AA characters. Just keep them in their little box.
I’m hoping after all these years, KSJ isn’t okay with another isolated story that has the Winters family at each others throats.
oh, what ths is a blak show nowl.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes look neil, desperate for money or prize.. I guess, this economy is pretty freak uP!!
I thought TPIR portion was very poorly done. It’s like it was a last minute addition to the script. It was very fast and forced. I’m fast forwarding through a lot of Hilary/Neil scenes. Especially if they continue to talk BB.
I don’t see the problem with Hilary on Price is Right!
So she and Neil are on a business trip, and she gets to
fulfill her lifelong dream of being on that game show.
What is wrong with that?? It is fun. It is real. And added
a twist to the show.
PLEASE DON’T HAVE HILLARY WITH NIEL!!!! I WANT HER AND DEVON TOGETHER!!! WHY WOULD SHE CHOOSE NIEL OVER DEVON? SHE LIKES DEVON, HE IS YOUNG AND HE HAS MONEY??? PLEASE NIEL IS TOO OLD FOR HER.!!!
DESPERATE NIEL!!! It makes me SICK to see him with Hillary!!!
Neil,Kelly, and Jack would be a far better triangle than placing Neil as angst for Devin/Hilary who should be a couple. Neil and Jack’s friendship strained because both are interested in the lovely Kelly. Imagine Peter Bergman and Kristoff squaring off as rivals.
Bryton and Mishael’s onscreen chemistry is electric. I am sorry but I do not see any sparks between Neil and Hilary (now husband and wife). Is it so impossible to write a love story for Devon and Neil with two different women?
