Looks like those mysterious tweets recently from Kirsten Storms have proven what most suspected that she would shortly be on her way back to General Hospital to reprise the role of Maxie Jones!

Today Soap Opera Digest is confirming that Kirsten will return to GH as Maxie and begin taping new episodes at the end of this month and will begin airing in late February!

GH spokesperson told SOD, “We are thrilled that Kirsten will be back to work in just a few short weeks. And we thank Jen Lilley for the wonderful job she did in Kirsten’s absence.” Lilley will continue taping for the next several weeks.

It will be great to see Kirsten back on our television screens, and bringing that fantastic Maxie-tude that we all have come to love.  Stay tuned!

Happy to know she is well enough to return. GH needs all the help it can get, but I don’t know if anyone (including FV and RC) can save it from Katie.

Although the New Maxie is a FANTASTIC stand-in, there is no one like Kirsten as our fair Maximista!! I hope you are well again, Kirsten!

I hope this isn’t the end of Jen Lilley, though! I honestly liked her better as Maxie. Not that I don’t love Kirsten Storms!

GH and ‘Full House’ Alum John Stamos ‘Gutted’ and Shares, ‘I Am In Utter Shock’ Over Death of Bob Saget

This past weekend brought with it more heartbreaking news in celebrity deaths in only the first week of the 2022.  Beloved actor and comedian, Bob Saget was found dead in an hotel room in Orlando, Florida at the age of 65.

What was known came more accurately through a tweet from the Orange County Sheriff’s department, who responded to a call from the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Grand Lakes on Sunday, January 9th, about an unresponsive man in a hotel room.

The man was identified as Robert Saget and he was pronounced deceased on scene and ‘detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Saget played Danny Tanner on ABC’s Full House sitcom from 1987 through 1995, reprised the role in its revival, Fuller House, in 2016 and hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos.

John Stamos co-starred with Saget in the comedy series as as Danny’s brother-in-law and best friend Jesse Katsopolis. Soap fans also recall that Stamos started his TV career as Blackie Parrish on General Hospital.

Upon the news of Saget’s death, John took to Twitter and shared his grief expressing: “I am broken. I am gutted.  I am in complete and utter shock.  I will never ever have another friend like him.  I love you so much Bobby.”

The two worked together again on Stamos’ series, Grandfathered which ran on Fox from 2015-2016.

Share your remembrances and condolences on the passing of Bob Saget in the comment section below.
