Corbin Bleu is one of the favorites to take the Mirror Ball Trophy in this season’s highly competitive season 17 of the hit ABC ballroom dance competition, Dancing with the Stars!  And on tonight’s all-new episode, the One Life to Live and High School Musical star is set to dance the Paso Doble with his partner, Karina Smirnoff.

In Bleu’s new blog entry on his DWTS weekly experience for AccessHollywood.com, Corbin reveals, he is going shirtless for the first time during the competition and how Karina and he, worked to make their “Paso” quite fiery!

Corbin related about the musical choice which was switched up during this the rehearsal process: “As I listened to it, I thought it would be cool if in this dance we were in a fight. As always, Karina ran with it and turned it into an incredible piece! There’s even a moment where she slaps me in the dance! At first, we were just faking it, but I told her she should really do it to play up the anger. As intense as she is, she’s still a sweetheart and it took her a while to come to terms with actually striking me. She eventually got over it though and in the heat of the moment I think it makes for great theatre!

This dance will also be the first time I’m going shirtless! I usually go to the gym on top of dance rehearsals, but this week my trainer Chad Landers really cracked the whip to get me ready! I’m proud to say working out is a huge part of my lifestyle.  I’ve been training with him since I was 18 and over the years, my body has truly transformed. The stamina alone is really helping me get through this rigorous dancing schedule.”

So looking forward to a shirtless Corbin pulling out all the stops doing the Paso Doble tonight? Are you #TeamCorbin, or do you have your other favorites?  Comment below!

All this is great, but why no news about OLTL or AMC coming back or in production? IMO PP should grow up and an get on with producing OLTL. Forget the lawsuit and just make the show. I don’t get why they can’t, or won’t. Seems lame. Yes ABC screwed PP but now PP is screwing over the fans and themselves. I read the court papers and IMO I can’t see anyone taking this lawsuit seriously. Soaps kill off and bring back characters all the time. Major characters like Nora, Todd, Patrick, Mitch to name a few. These were 2… Read more »

B&B’s Annika Noelle Shares Her Heartache on Pregnancy Loss

In a very well-written and touching essay written by The Bold and the Beautiful’s Annika Noelle (Hope), herself, the actress shares with the readers details of two miscarriages that she had not publicly revealed until this time.

In her story for Glamour entitled, “Losing a Child in the Limelight”, Noelle shares the heartache and pain of losing a child while filming the demands of a soap opera, and especially Hope’s storyline which for months featured so much emotion and so many tears after the baby loss storyline on-air she was the vehicle in which to tell the tale.

However in real life, Noelle was going through something as well.  Annika reveals how she and her fiancé found out she was pregnant, and then 10 weeks later she lost the baby.  When they tried again, she lost the baby at 8 weeks.

In an excerpt, Annika expressed about keeping her pain private while working on the soap: “Fans and news articles speculated whether I was pregnant or just gained weight during quarantine. And once again the storyline called for ceaseless tears when I felt like I had no more to give. I guess looking back at it now, I was scared to jinx anything. I didn’t want people to know and have things not work out. And yet I wish I had because I would have given anything to have the understanding and support of the cast and crew. I felt so alone. The secret was isolating, yet the shame was debilitating. I felt like I had failed at something that should be easy. But as time marched on, I was surprised by a new feeling bubbling underneath the sorrow: an ancestral rage toward the burden of womanhood. And as I slowly began to open up about my loss to a select few, I was shocked by how many people had experienced it as well.”

In the end, Annika shares: “Anyone who follows me on social media can tell you I’m a deeply private person. But if there is one thing I’ve gained from my loss, it is a voice I’m no longer afraid to use.”

Make sure to read Annika’s moving article in full, then let us know in the comment section what you thought of it.
