Courtney Hope Exits The Bold and the Beautiful Shares: “This Chapter of Sally Has Sadly Come to an End”
Since The Bold and the Beautiful returned to CBS Daytime with all-new episodes, it has provided viewers scenes that included of the finest work of Courtney Hope’s (Sally) career on the soap, and now its time again for her character to depart the canvas one more time,
In story, Sally’s lies caught up with her in her obsession to nab Wyatt (Darin Brooks) as her man at the expense of his current lady love, Flo (Katrina Bowden). And in key scenes on today’s B&B, Wyatt tells Sally it’s best for to stay away from him and Flo and to, perhaps, leave town.
Courtney took to her Instagram account to share her thoughts on the news of her exit, saying: “An abrupt ending to a monumental journey. The last three years have been amazing, and though I do not know what the future holds this chapter of Sally has sadly come to an end. I love my @boldandbeautifulcbs cast and crew and will miss everyone dearly, but await the day we may all play again. Some things are out of our control, and I thank the fans for your support through it all! Until then, I revel in new beginnings and everything the future has in store. 🙌🏼✨Love you all, Sally spectra out 👩🏼🦰 ✌🏽”
So, what have you thought of Courtney’s recent performances? Do you think B&B wrote the character into a corner they could not get out of? Would you like to see her return again one day? Share your thoughts via the comment section below. But first, watch Wyatt say goodbye to Sally.

Wrong actress left the show. Bradley Bell blew it.
Yes he did! For the character of Flo?? Give me a break!
Agree! But maybe she can head to Genoa City since Y and R needs some spice and good trouble to show up in town.
After watching the classic Y&R episodes of recent, it’s evident that they need to bring back Daniel, Phyllis’ long lost son, Noah, son of Sharon and Nick, and possibly even Scotty, Lauren’s son, These characters have major potential for storyline, and they all can be recast if the previous portrayors are not interested/available. Cortney could easily get a great storyline paired with any one of them.
Really liked her initial romance with Thomas however that went out window when character left. Then when we got her back at least she was paired with Wyatt but unfortunately brought in Flo which to me was a big mistake. Courtney a power actress Flo’s (don’t even remember who plays her).. not so much.
What happened, initially, was Courtney Hope’s leading man abruptly departed the show. Rather than replacing the actor and continuing the storyline, the show axed 4 contract players plus a few recurring day players. Then they hire Courtney back but don’t really give her a story that sizzled. She rarely appeared until recently. She deserved better.
Sorry…I am not for this move. They weren’t writing for the character the way they used to and I am disappointed in that and her being written off the show. I hope and pray Courtney gets something just as good as the work she did on B&B.

I sure agree with you. Loved the part of Sally, especially with”Bucko” they were so cute together. Will miss her but note to Courtney: you’ve still got that cutie Chad Duell!
Brad Bell’s specialty has always been writing out fan faves. So stupid.
Days should snag her as a Stephanie recast!
Courtney was excellent in her role as Sally and she will be missed…
Mistake by BB, but Days should pick her up to play Stephanie Johnson!
I think that Flo should have left. I never liked Flo with Wyatt.
Totally agree
Sorry to see Sally go, at least the girl that hit town a few years ago with such promise. She was my favorite compared to the other predictable characters. Boy did the writers let her storyline go downhill. She didn’t deserve it.
terrible decision, wrong person leaving, should be Flo

ABC Announces ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Texas Spin-Off Gets Straight-to-Series Order
In a surprise move, coming a week after ABC unveiled its 2026-2027 fall television schedule, Grey’s Anatomy is getting a new spinoff co-created by the original series’ creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes.
The new untitled medical drama will be written and executive produced by Rhimes and Grey’s Anatomy showrunner/executive producer Meg Marinis under the Shondaland and 20th Television umbrella. In addition, long-running ‘Grey’s’ star Ellen Pompeo will also serve as an EP of the spinoff.
The upcoming new series will debut midseason in 2027. This will be the first of Grey’s franchise not set in urban city or West Coast locale. According to Deadline, the new “edgy drama is about a team at a rural West Texas medical center — the last chance for care before miles of nowhere.”

In a statement, Marinis shared, “I am incredibly excited to expand the Grey’s Anatomy universe. This opportunity will bring new characters and stories to life that will embody the same heart, emotion and connection audiences have loved from Grey’s for more than two decades — all set in my home state of Texas. I am so grateful to Shonda Rhimes for creating this dynamic world and feel so fortunate that I get to be a part of it.”
A NEW GROUP OF DOCTORS IN RURAL TEXAS
The Texas spinoff will feature a a new group of doctors, but there will be some connection to the OG Grey’s Anatomy and possibly to Debbie Allen’s character of Catherine Fox. The amount of episodes in the series order has not yet been determined. Previous Grey’s Anatomy spinoffs were the defunct Station 19 and Private Practice.
Previously, Grey’s Anatomy was renewed for its upcoming 23rd season while the amount of episodes is unclear. The last two seasons the series produced 18 episodes.
It should also be noted, Grey’s Anatomy and the Texas spinoff would likely share a time period, which requires limited-run orders for both with Grey’s premiering in the fall, followed by the spinoff on the midseason programming block.
So, what do you think about a Texas spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy coming in 2027? Who would you like to see from daytime or primetime as some of the featured roles as new doctors? Put on your casting directors hat and let us know via the comment section below.
