Daniel Hall Off The Young and the Restless!

When Scott Grainger exited Genoa City for Europe last week, it signaled for now the end of the run of Daniel Hall.
In story, Scott relocated from Genoa City to London. However, The Young and the Restless has not issued a statement on the status of Hall.
Inquisitive minds sprouted up on Twitter, and one asked if Scott would be seen on Y&R again, to which the actor responded, “It’s gonna be a while, I believe :/”
Scott’s on-screen lady love, Melissa Ordway (Abby) was also written-off to Europe due to the actress maternity leave. So, it appears the door could be left open for a return down the line for Hall, since Ordway will be on her way back to the show soon.
So, what are your thoughts of Daniel being written-out of Y&R? Do you hope he returns? Comment below.
I had such hopes for Scott when Daniel joined Y&R. However, the writers have completely ruined the character with bad writing and bad storylines, starting with how Scott reacted when he woke up with the dead prostitute in the motel room. The writing just went steadily downhill from there. The abrupt ending of Shott after the build-up over 8 months and the about face of Scott’s character left me shaking my head. It’s too bad because I like Daniel Hall and think he is talented. If he returns, I hope it is to better writing.
I for one won’t miss him one bit. His role bored me. It seemed if he couldn’t have Sharon, he’d take Abby. He looked kind of WUS like with that poodle hair.
Miscast, bad writing, Good riddance.
Well said, Tony. Exactly right.
Oh, my gosh, Soaphound….Robert Scott Wilson….swoon!! Be still mine heart.
If only, Soaphound. I could stare at that face and body forever…and die happy!! Yeah!!
Sssshhh! LOL.
I would like to see the character if not the actor return. Now that sheila is alive, we still gotta see her cross paths with Lauren which means Scott will figure in too. I know Kimberlin Brown hasn’t been seen on B&B in a few weeks and I do have hope Sheila’s story will pick up. This brings me back to Daniel Hall and Scott. Yes, I would like to see him return. Let’s see where the stories will lead us.
Oh no I hope your wrong. Enough already of Sheila. How many times can someone die? I say bring him back for Abby but make him get a hair cut and shave, otherwise find a street person for him that Sharon is helping.
Hahaha—you’re right. A haircut would serve the character well.
Love his hair! Matt Cohen and Aidan Turner, two similar looking actors, also had longish hair like this and it’s gorgeous! Some guys can just carry it…and Scott is one of them.
Without a doubt– Scott will return to continue on with Abby..
Most likely she will be pregnant and it will Scotts..
Scott and Abby will be.
Anyways– pregnant or not Scott will return for Abby (( Scott will return.
That was my first statement when Melissa became pregnant. But, I said it was Zack’s baby….then, after the “wharehouse” thing, I said Abby would not really know who the bio dad was. I remember, after she and Scott had sex, she mentioned something about ….”no worries because she was on birth-control” ( paraphrasing). To me? That was such an “underhanded” clue!!!! I hope I haven’t lost my sense of sniffing, LOL.
Then, I said that if the actress’s pregnancy would not be an issue, she would be sent away to a spa to recoup from all the hullabaloo.
But, now that you bring the pregnancy up….I can see what you are suggesting, happening.
Abby could return with a baby….but, not necessarily Scott’s. This would be such a salivating plot-line.
If Scott comes back, I hope Daniel cuts his hair….if Daniel is not returning, I agree, the character should come back and pick up where he left off…I said from the start that there was sexual tension between him and Abby….but, would a recast send the same vibes??
I can only hope for a recast.
@Fanny.
Hi, sweet lady,
Yeah, a recast sounds good. As I said, I wouldn’t mind so much if ‘Scott’ cleaned up a bit—that hair!! Yet, Fanny, some fans like his hair, so…..
@CeeCee, I loooovvvvveeeee the hair as wellllllllll, it’s the rest
of him that’s ggggooooootttttttttttt to go.
Celia, how about Robert Scott Wilson or Brandon Barash for a recast?
EXACTLY WHAT I SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is you reply to me? LOL…if so….Glad you agree, JK….we do think alike, as I’ve noticed in the past.
was really starting to enjoy the abby/ scott pairing… could feel something was clandestine at their goodbye in paris which at the time i didn’t realise was really the last time they ‘d be together. Beautiful send off…left me hoping they ll be reunited one day
I wasn’t too happy about where they took Scott’s story after he was rescued and brought back to Genoa City. He seemed a man of integrity, but increasingly could be “bought” by the likes of Victor or his own ambition.
I still ask myself why TPTB made such a complete turnabout regarding Scott.
Is it possible “they” were looking to send him packing and changing his persona so drastically facilitated the ‘transition’, as it were, rose?
He reminds me of a blind date I had. Took 3 hours and endless phone calls to find my address. I do not live in the boonies. Upon arrival, immediately ran and hid in my bathroom. When he finally emerged, he ran for the exit. Memories. Misty watercolor memories. I fully understand and sympathize with PTSD sufferers. Except when they steal my purse. I seem to trigger Pre-traumatic stress disorder. Even the Frango mints and comment cards go untouched. As do I.
@Phyllis.
Hilarious, as usual….there’s the Phyllis Fontaine DeMarco, I know!!
Ha! ha!! You are hilarious. Phyllis, my sister had a blind date which was almost as horrific as yours.
She was in the passenger seat and he puts in a Hootie and the Blowfish CD. He starts to sing along, he sings along loudly and badly. At the stop lights, he turns his head to look at her and sings,”I only want to be with you.” At the fifth stop light, she opened the door and jumped out of the car. She never saw her Hootie and the Blowfish fan man again.
I hope he comes back!! I thought he had sizzling chemistry with Abby and was hoping they would finally get together. Adored them. I’m upset that it’s looking like that will never happen. I also wanted to see the show delve into his relationship with his mother, Lauren. The only time they seemed to acknowledge the Lauren/Scotty dynamic was when Lauren disapproved of Scott dating Sharon. There should have been more substance there. Scott has a lot to offer the canvas. Bring him back and let the story that had been building play out. Y&R doesn’t have all that much going for it lately. It’s foolish to get rid of a solid actor and the son of a vet.
I like him. I like his acting and I like his chemistry with Abby. This show always does a great job with the vets, but they really need to commit more and write better storylines and create engaging couples in the younger set. Scott and Abby had that classic old school winning soap couple vibe…the bickering, the push/pull, etc. In a few of their scenes, they reminded me in a way of Eden and Cruz from the late, great Santa Barbara. I hope Scott will be back, hopefully with this actor, but if not, with another one. Scott is a legacy character with loads of potential. So is Abby. Let them be an A List couple!
totally agree with you. Hoping to see Daniel Hall back at Young and the Restless.
he was never right for the role they need to find a major replacement have the casting directors over there fallen asleep btw the next actor should actually have chemistry with abby and yes his mother lauren send sharon back to nick that is the end game
They really dropped the ball with Hall. Ha Ha Scott’s story ended very strangely. Him showing up in Paris to see Abby was so random. And no goodbye scenes with Lauren??!! Thumbs down.
He wasn’t even on a year. Came on with big fanfare and then fizzled out. I think Scott and Sharon could have been really good. They ruined it.
Can he keep the annoying, insipid Abby off-screen for a long while, too? I like the actress, can’t stand how she portrays the character-reminds me of the insipid, VERY annoying Lulu on General Hospital.
Funny that Lulu played Abby before this actress. Lol.
Jovin, I know, right? HA!
Hey, Jovin,
I think that Melissa, as seemingly spoiled as Abby is, brought some class and maturity to the character. Emme was more of an airhead…daddy’s little girl who seemed not to take her gaffes too seriously—immature.
What do you think? Do you like Melissa better, in the role? I’d like to have others’ opinions….love diversity, in a nice way, LOL.
I agree with Celia. I never liked Emme’s Abby either.
In fact, I don’t care for her interpretation of Lulu either and if she brushes her long hair forward and puts glasses on, she will look like Cousin It.
She’s too short for such long hair.
Poor Emme’s Lulu hasn’t been able to catch a fashion break since she was enveloped in that “Great Pink Pumpkin on Wheels” get-up at last year’s NB.
I dont want anyone losing a job but he was NOT right for the part. Too old and no chemistry with anyone. The hair was horrendous and how in the world would he ever pay Victor back 10 million dollars? He screwed over Sharon. Ridiculous! Plus, they dont have Lauren on enough. What should have happened is Fenn should have came back. And he could.
I agree with everything you said, T…except for the chemistry part…he did have some chemistry with Abby, I think…..I saw the attraction…just my opinion, Timmmy.
Oh Celia, speaking of Emme Rylan, what the heck are they doing with Lulu? All she’s missing is a hat with a scoop on it and a badge saying “Ace” or better yet “CUB REPORTER”. Is it MEANT to be laughable? Like when she and Maxie were the modern Bobbsey Twins ferreting out Nelle’s secrets. I thought it was comic relief. Silly me.
@Soaphound.
Afternoon/evening, Soaphound,
Hello!!
I really like Emme…Lulu, not at all….I even liked her better as Abby on Y&R ( not a lot…just a teensy little bit) .
What are they doing to her, is right…..and, who dresses her? She is small in stature; much like myself, but my clothes do not seem to swallow me whole. I can’t see her body….between the length of her hair and the bulky apparrel, she might as well not be there. All we see is her head….a pretty head…but, where’s the rest of her?
Yes, the investigating reporter just isn’t her game….poor Lulu, affixed with an asphyxiating, go-nowhere job!
Right Timm. Spot lost me the day he moved into Sharon’s and started seeing Abby’s goofy looking face when he kissed Sharon or when he looked at pictures of Sharon.
I mean, it appeared he moved in with Sharon just because he needed a place to crash! Then Sharon kicks his butt out and he appears at Abby’s door who also says,”Out damn, Spot!” (I know I have been redundant with this joke, but it cracks me up. Yes, I laugh at my own jokes. Honestly, I need humor in my life).
Oh, and it doesn’t help that Lauren plays helicopter mom to her her thirty something old son. She makes him look even more ridiculous.
I fully expected to see Lauren giving the local Little League coach the what for because he won’t put little Scotty on the field.
Nail on the head Harry, Lauren treats Scotty like a kid. Thats another reason to have Finn around. Although he is not young either, he has more story possibilities and the kid can act!
I agree, Timm. Fenn’s character seems to have more possibilities for storylines. Plus, if they got Max Ehrich back, there’d be no complaints about HIS hair….gorgeous AND washed. And why not more of Lauren anyway?
In other words, Timmm…he would fit right in at GH.
Recast Scotty ASAP. NO more of Kenny G in Genoa City. Lol
I don’t see anything definitive here. He hasn’t said that he’s permanently off Y&R.
He and Abby may come back as a couple after Melissa’s maternity leave.
He needs a shave and a real haircut, not the “trim” that Reed got.
Scott Grainger’s return to Genoa City was welcomed by me. As time went on though, I found a lack of mother-son chemistry between the actors. I also wanted Scott to be more fiery (globetrotting journalist) as well as cerebral. Tho the latter is suspect after the human trafficking story line. That could hav e been a barn burner of a plot affecting so many. It lacked suspense or high emotional stakes. I am not sure a triangle involving Sharon was best route to take, but it was good to see Sharon be with someone outside the closed circle and be encouraged to be the strong woman she has potential to be. Scott did give her that. Back to the triangle, I never felt Scott’s conflict. Seems Mr. Young is making some story line shifts and I trust all will be for the better. I am sure we have not seen last of Scott Grainger, but we may have seen last of Mr. Hall.
I don’t care for him. He’s a mediocre actor and looks much older than his age (he’s in his early 30s IRL). Y&R needs to either recast the role with someone more charismatic or keep Scott off the canvas permanently.
Yeah, PF….as I previously stated on another site; Scott and Lauren looked more like husband and wife, than mother and son.
The fact the character has nothing to do if Abby isn’t around proves how weak the character was written. Couples are important to soaps but each half of the couple needs to be a strong character on their own, a character that can fit into a number of stories and not just one– the way Scott was written made him a one note wonder– the same can be said for the character Ravi– what is his purpose other than to be eye candy for Ashley and even that isn’t working out.
I always felt sorry for Ravi. Ashley I thought gave that poor guy false hope then dumped him in a public area, in work, in a hallway, saying she used him then walked off. I want to see some consequences for that type of treatment. I love the way they have written Hillary lately and it’s so nice to see her getting along with Lily and just about everyone. I still hate Nick & Chelsea together.
I felt sorry for Ravi too, Nikki. Ashely has become just a horrible character and I used to like her. When she turned him away at Thanksgiving (and with he armed with a fruit pie) I was livid! Who does that? She invited him or made him think he was invited.
Then this darling lad asks Ashely out on a real date and she turns him down. However, later, she calls him and tells him to meet her in room 246 at the Genoa City Hotel. Young Ravi opens the door of the hotel room, only to see Ashely, wearing nothing but a revealing Teddy and stockings and a swarmy looking smile, waiting for him the way a spider waits for a fly. I swear, I thought she had a cigar in her mouth. Yes, this is sexual harrassment.
Well said. I said this before, Nikki, my admiration of Ashley stopped with the Ravi fiasco. Was that an ‘over mid-life’ crisis? She took a schoolboy to bed. Think about it. Poor Ravi!!
Nick and Chelsea are a joke….too bad because I love the actors.
I agree, Nikki. And, in today’s climate, Ravi could have a case for harassment (warranted or not). After all, Ashley did go to Victoria with threats if Victoria had gotten him to switch employers.
They should have had Scott interact more with his family: Lauren, Michael, Jill, Kevin, and Gloria.
I like Ravi. Don’t understand why they split up Ashley and Ravi. Although, if she was just going to use him for booty calls, it’s fine. Was hoping he might have story with Hilary, but no. Don’t know what Ravi will be doing.
You nailed it, Mo. Scott was a fail to a degree because he never was integrated with his family upon his return. That is huge. (And Kevin should never have been written off.)
As for Ravi, this character has been written into a corner, and I am not sure he has purpose. Ashley needs a man who is allowed to be more sizzling or charismatic.
Yeah, Mo. Also, Lauren acted the over-the-top-mother-hen soooo annoyingly.
Gee–if my mother-in-law, or anyone’s mother-in-law, treated my husband as her little boy who never grew up, I would have pulled out every hair on my head in frustration. I know Sharon wasn’t married to Scott, but they were together.
I always knew the Ashley and Ravi fling wasn’t going to last, Mo. I think the writers finally realized the age difference was too great. Not realistic. Thirty year….. even for soaps….unless Ravi was after her booty ( oops; pardon the double entendre: that’s Harry’s specialty, LOL). But, he is such a nice, harmless guy, Ravi, that is….don’t know about Harry…LOL.
I do hope TPTB find Ravi someone who truly deserves him. I love him.
That is very true.
I do hope Scott will return I believe he has potential.
Exactly, Mary!!!! You got it….when Abby comes back, Scott may have a shot; however, as you say, he needs to hold his own. The question is, does it take good writing tailored to the character?…. or the characted holding the audience with mouth agape on his own merit?….. or a collaborstion??
So, Ashley has also “gone cougar,” with this Ravi, CeeCeeGirl? In that case, she should move to Port Charles and join the Ava and Alexis Club…those two need some competition when it comes to hunting down young male flesh to satiate their carnal desires!
@Shay,
Hi, Shaybelle,
That’s not the half of it, Shay, LOL…..Ashley is turning into her brother, Jack. I am trying to understand why TPTB feel the need to turn Ashley, the ever-loving peacemaker, the altruistic , most caring woman on the show, into a shrew and a despot? She is going as far as to incite and recruit Abby ( her daughter), to sabotage Victoria.
My instincts are screaming, Shay…..they are telling me, in no uncertain terms, Ashley has more than to “re-sass” ( Ha!) Brash ‘n Sassy on her mind….she wants to topple, take hold, imprison and re-invent Newman Enterprises. What does this mean? A new, modified Ashley a’-emerging on the horizon?
More power to women, but, I am not into drastic changes, such as duplicity and out-right, backstabbing.
Perhaps Ashley wants to prove a point to Jack?…..that she can cripple a billion dollar company….conquer it and re-build it her own way, by her own methods, and succeed? Make it better? I am in a quandary….do we applaud her? ….or jeer her?
@CeeCee….I always liked Ashley….. she was such a class act and when Eileen Davidson first came on Y&R, she played off Terry Lester’s Jack in such a believable familial fashion, since thed really did look like brother and sister! Alas, once Lester left the soap, my interest in it waned…I could just never warm up to Dr. Cliff Warner as “NewJack!”
@Shay.
Hi, Shay,
I never ‘met’ Terry, but my Gran loved him…..and she always felt about Peter B, as you do…..he was and always will remain Nina Cortlandt’s husband.
This is exactly how I feel about Billy as Drew…and Jason T as Billy. LOL.
I grew to like him with Abby, I do hope he will return when Melissa comes back.
There is so much more that can be written for them.
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!! OFF THE SHOW AT LAST!!!!! To me, that Daniel Hall dude’s, uh, take on Scott was nothing but a GIGANTIC BUST!!!!! And…that Scott character has run its course. Therefore, Y&R should not bother recasting the character anymore. AT ALL!!!!!
BOTH SAYONARA AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel Hall /Scott is still with Y&R.
He is simply off not gone.
He is on leave like many others before him have been.
He will return .. He is not out just off.
su0000…well then, my dear…Daniel Hall needs to stay off of Y&R…FOR GOOD!!!!!
Just saying……….
Have a good one.
Totally agree.
BRING BACK SCOTT WITH A BETTER STORY AND A HAIR CUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was boring and I was tired of hearing my husband complain about his hair…lol..They could stand to send a few to Paris!!!
I loved the actor and loved his hair. It was refreshing to have someone who didn’t look like every other soap guy. Also, journalists tend to be more individualistic so that was believable. The writing for the character, though, was all over the place and really let the actor down. If they could solidify the characterization, I think Mr. Hall would really sizzle.
Not crazy about the actor, especially the hair! He looked way to old to be Lauren’s son. Ravi’s character has more sex appeal, is more interesting, etc. in his own way , even with Mrs. Robinson! Abby bugs me, with her needing to please daddy and outshine Victoria, and way too full of herself, insecurity maybe.
You have a point, Violet. When someone tries too hard by explaining her motives and actions and pointing fingers, as Abby did ( especially towards Victoria, and to some degree, Scott himself) , yes, she lacks confidence and has issues of insecurity. She needed to be number one in Daddy’s eyes.
Abby always felt persecuted by her sister. I don’t remember when or how that all started. Maybe she will see a psychiatrist while in Paris. LOL.
Abby was raised by Brad Carlton and inherited his home and money the fact this character is living in a tack house and depending on Victor is stupid.
I would like to see the character return– explore his past. What made him a writer? Good grief, Y and R writers are NOT showing us the struggles and successes, the ups and downs of being a writer! There should have been a great storyline about real news and fake news, online reporting and live television reporting. When Y and R first began in the 70s, Stuart Brookes ran the local newspaper. There was a golden opportunity to explore the validity of news reporting; instead, we got glimpses of sensationalized garbage being meaningful “literature” for viewers through the antics of the Hillary Hour. Scott would have been a great mentor for Mariah. Alas, another ball dropped by those who develop the stories.
As of late– everything is rushed and continues to violate the golden rule of creative writing: SHOW don’t TELL.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

Photo: JPI
FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

‘General Hospital’ Marks Unprecedented 16,000th Episode Milestone with New Cast Photo

Today’s Monday, July 13 episode of General Hospital marks it 16,000 episode to air on the ABC television network. It is a remarkable milestone. The previous television record was held by Guiding Light which clocked in at 15,762 episodes before it went off the air on CBS in 2009.
To mark the occasion, the cast, crew and creative team of General Hospital celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony on the Prospect Studios lot in Los Angeles back on Monday, June 1, 2026.
In addition, GH has released a new cast photo taken the day of the on set celebration. Pictured in the photo are front row: Rory Gibson, Finn Carr, Kayden Brenna Tokarski, Asher Antonyzyn, Giovanni Mazza, Braedyn Bruner, Dean Geyer and Nathan Dean.
Featured in the back row are: Tabyana Ali, Eden McCoy, Josh Swickard, Kristen Vaganos, Rebecca Herbst, Dominic Zamprogna, Alexa Havins, Cameron Mathison, Brooke Kerr, Cynthia Watros, Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Jane Elliot, Maurice Benard, Laura Wright, Maura West, Donnell Turner, Nancy Lee Grahn, Tanisha Harper, Kelly Thiebaud, Kristina Wagner, Lynn Herring, Chris McKenna, Katelyn MacMullen and Sawandi Wilson.

It’s a milestone we couldn’t let pass by without taking some time to celebrate as a family (and, of course… eating some cake). 🍰 We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE 16,000th Episode?
The 16,000th episode will feature Jason Morgan returning to the town of Port Charles, Anna and Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) reuniting, and a new surgeon, Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) joining the staff of ‘General Hospital.’
GENERAL HOSPITAL HOLDS SEVERAL RECORDS
Now in its 64th year, Emmy Award-winning daytime drama General Hospital is currently both the longest-running scripted American drama and the longest-running American soap opera currently in production.
General Hospital holds the record for the most Outstanding Daytime Drama award wins, taking home the prestigious Daytime Emmy Award a record 18 times. Will they do it again and make it 19 in 2026? Stay tuned for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy nominations tomorrow on Tuesday, July 14 to find out if GH will be going for gold in the category, once again.
The ABC daytime drama series was created by Frank and Doris Hursley and premiered back on April 1, 1963. Frank Valentini is the current executive producer with Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten are the show’s co-head writers.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC and streams on Hulu.
What do you think of the new cast photo marking General Hospital’s 16000th episode? What do you think of the accomplishment to have that many episodes of a television show and its still thriving and kicking? Share your thoughts and congrats for everyone in front of the camera and behind the scenes on this milestone airing.
