In a new interview as part of DAYS 14,000 episode milestone celebration press junket, Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison talk with Michael Fairman for the Michael Fairman Channel about this week’s long-awaited on-screen nuptials, plus the turbulence they have faced personally and professionally, being written on and off the NBC daytime drama series, in part, as noted in the conversation, when former DAYS head writer, Dena Higley, was in charge of story.

In addition, Brandon shares what it was like to tape what would end up being his final scene with his on-screen mom, Kristian Alfonso (Hope), who exited the series this summer; while Martha talks about the urgent need for the restaurant and small business communities who are suffering through financial hardship during Covid-19.

That’s great, but I wish they would put them back on contract. I’m not looking forward to them leaving again.

Great they are back & I hope they stay they are legacy children. The couple that truly deserves to have at least one legacy child on screen are Patch and Kayla, they have not one. Its sad that iconic characters are being treated this way. Instead we get a retcon kid with Ava…smh, just hope Charlie doesn’t turn out to be Steve’s or Robo Johns…lol
