This week on Days of our Lives, Marlena (Deidre Hall) is closing in on discovering the truth about Kristen (Eileen Davidson) in her attempt to make sure Brady (Eric Martsolf)  and Kristen never say their “I do’s”!

In this new NBC promo, Marlena has come upon a flash drive that contains video of Kristen in bed with Marlena’s son, Eric (Greg Vaughan)! However, Marlena thinks that Kristen had an affair, and has no idea that Kristen raped her son …  yet!   How will this play out?  Will Kristen’s plan come tumbling down, yet again?

Meanwhile, Eric continues to be tormented by his rape and has believes that it was Nicole  (Arianne Zucker) who was behind the incident to get him into bed, no matter how much she denies it.  And as we know, Nicole’s track record isn’t so good, but she has admitted she loves the priest with all her heart!

Watch the promo after the jump!  Then, let us know if you think Marlena will eventually bring Kristen down for her scheme against her son?  And remember, this plot was originally sprung into action by Kristen as her revenge plan on her nemesis the good doc, Marlena!  How will Marlena deal with the fact of how her bitter rivalry has tormented her beloved son?

Maybe a who shot Kristen…and the shooter is the man she got drug from she used on Eric?

At the hospital Marlena learns Kristen preggie…who da daddy…Father(theres a pun in here) Eric!!! Then Kristen disappears!!!

My wish would be if Kristen could be preggers and she doesn’t die or run off but is sent to prison for rape…they could write her off (leaving the door open) have ED come back next May to shot a couple of scenes of giving birth and the child is taken away and given to Eric….

Eric leaving the church as a single dad starting a relation with Nicole…this leaves the door wide open in a couple of years for Kristen’s return and Nicole is playing “mommy” to her child…be delicious! Marlena’s grandchild…what a tasty treat for Kristen to return…

I know, I know a pipe dream…

Yeah…your right, Kristen should go to prison(i shouldve said that instead of disappearing) but i was in a rush when i commented…Eric and Nicole raising the child is a brilliant idea…endless story possibilities…Kristen released from prison and finding Nicole raising her child…i can almost see a confrontation scene between Nicole and Kristen which i hope for too…im sure…In the meantime…Stephano will step in and do what he can to keep Nicole from raising his grandchild…love your story idea, and thanks 4 the reply.

Jim, that would set Marlena vs Stefano up for good story again and they share a grandchild….think at the possibilities Sami married to EJ, this could cause a more serious rife between the two love birds…taking sides. I only wish…

This has been the best storyline, I know lots of people complaining about it being boring especially in the beginning (even so) but I have enjoyed this story completely because the writers have played every beat and look how it’s climaxing and the story it will bring naturally & the effects, another great story should follow. This story has been built from the ground up since GV arrived in ‘2012 & Eric called it like it was Rape! No sugar coating and it will be interesting to see how he will personally deal with it, the church & blaming Nicole. I know some have made comments about it being a priest but you know what I would rather have this story instead of a story about a priest molesting a child. I like how Days has incorporated the church to have a many stories connecting to the community of Salem not just Eric, it has been a very long time since a soap has used the church as part of community. It makes it more believable and gives Salem a feel of community.

This story I could see Bill Bell writing because how Chris & Gary played every aspect of the story…Bill would be proud of this team & story. Keep it up and give us more style of story telling with long term than a stunt for ratings only as YR….

Bill Bell…imo…was Days greatest writer!!!

Well, I hope the truth comes out soon– I felt so sorry for poor Nicole when Eric blamed her. Knew that was coming, but it was still so sad to watch– seeing her go from conflicted guilt for being in love with a priest, to shock for being accursed of rape,to anger that Eric would actually think so little of her that he would believe she would do that to him. Now I can’t wait to see the look on Eric’s face when he learns it wasn’t Nicole after all– he better have one great apology planned because I don’t know if Nicole will forgive him—ahh of course she will, but she should make him squirm at bit before she does.

Greg Vaughan is doing such a GREAT job as Father Eric. He is definitely more than just a pretty face. I actually anguished for him as he came to the conclusion he was raped, and I anguished for Nicole whom he falsely accused. I’m looking forward to the fireworks that will occur when our favorite heroine Marlena discovers the truth. I’m going to miss naughty mischievous Kristen though.

Collar off/Condom on

Eric’s “torment” is NOT Marlena’s fault!

Kristian Alfonso Returns to Days of our Lives for Tribute to The Late Bill Hayes

After a few weeks of Days of our Lives fans being upset that Kristian Alfonso (Hope Williams) was not on the first list of initial returns for Doug Williams’ funeral and episodes honoring his portrayer, the late Bill Hayes, comes word that the popular star is back and taping scenes.

Kristian reported to work on the Peacock streaming soap opera on Monday, April 22nd. She shared how important it is for her to be back for this particular return to the show that made her a household name.

“My return is very bittersweet,” Alfonso told TV Insider,  “because it is the end of an era with Bill gone. So to return to Days is very sad. I am appreciative that they came to me to include me in their series of shows honoring Doug and I’m very happy to see everyone, but I’m entering the studio with a heavy heart.”

It was back in 1983 that Kristian first debuted as Doug’s daughter, and now 41 years later looking back at it, and her time with Bill Hayes is very emotional for her.

“I remember my first scenes with him/ He was very loving, very welcoming. That he was very talented and an incredible actor and an icon, that all goes without saying, but my personal relationship and my working relationship with Bill, it was home,” expressed Alfonso. “Doing the scenes with Bill, I felt like I was with my dad because there was so much warmth and reality.”

Alfonso did express some deep regret, in that she had wanted to work with Bill Hayes during her last appearance on the soap back in 2023, but according to the iconic actress, there was something in the works but it never materialized.  “I’m sad that I did not get the opportunity to do the storyline that Ron (Carlivati, head writer) had planned/ It was great; we returned to Salem to reunite with our families and I would have had father/daughter scenes with Billy. What Ron had written was beautiful and emotional and it was a fantastic story. I was 100 percent for it and the fans would have loved it.”

As for if Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope will be back on-screen together anytime soon, Kristian would only say, “What I will say is don’t give up hope.” Doug’s passing and memorial episodes will stream later this year come late November into December.

So, are you happy to learn that Kristian Alfonso is back taping episodes surrounding Doug’s memorial episodes? Comment below.
