DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Is Nick Fallon Really Dead? Or, Is He Rolling Down The River?

Oh what a tale the writers of Days of our Lives have come up with to keep us coming back for more! At the epicenter of this is … Alison Sweeney’s Sami, Lauren Koslow’s Kate, and Camila Banus’ Gabi!
On Wednesday’s episode, before all new episodes return on Monday of the long running NBC soap opera, the three ladies have now covered up a crime and literally sent Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) down the river! And their efforts to cover up the “murder” of this troubled young man have already gone awry! Sami has lost one of her earrings at the crime scene! Nick Fallon’s initials from his backpack are stuck in the woods, and that is just for starters!
But wouldn’t this story be all the more delicious, if Nick Fallon actually survives the waters and watches from the sidelines as these three women, responsible for his death, suffer all sorts of payback at his crafty, yet by now, frozen hands?
So, we ask you, do you think Nick Fallon is really still alive? Do you think DAYS killed him off and he will just appear perhaps now as a ghost? Or, do you really believe we have seen the last of Nick for good? Watch next week’s promo from NBC as Sami, Kate, and Gabi are going to have to continue their cover-up in their “murder” of Nick, and then weigh-in!

Unless he managed to grab onto something, he’s got to be dead. The current was rough and would pull him under. That said, I can see Nick surfacing and blackmailing them, but I don’t see how far that could go as he doesn’t have proof. Sami’s earring in the water. So what? It could have gotten there whenever and unless it’s a OOAK, could be someone else’s.
I can’t stand Nick and would love for him to be dead, but I have this awful feeling that he’s still alive. And let’s face it, even if they find the body & declare him dead, he can still come back. After all, Jack died & they donated his organs and he still survived. As Rolf said about his own death, it “didn’t take”. LOL
Since there has been no press about Blake Berris leaving Days, Nick is probably not dead. It will be interesting to see how this story will play out. Since Stefano is turning over a new leaf and EJ never became “Stefano Jr.” (in spite of the evil deeds he has done, he is still no Stefano), maybe Nick will be the new head villain on Days and think up ways to torture Kate, Sami and Gabi (while she is still in Salem). At the very least, I smell BLACKMAIL!
I love Blake Berris! I hated what they did to his character last time on Days. And, I was hoping his revelation of what happened to him in prison would redeem his character, but then they had him plotting again. I don’t want him to be dead. Days ruined Chloe and they are ruining Nick again.
I think days ruined the character of Nick and also Chloe. I wish they would bring back some of the ones such as the children of John and Marlena and Kate’s son. It was better when they were on there. For those who did not watch the chemistry of Sami and EJ when he first cam on, you are really missing out!! It was the best that I can remember, even better than Bo and Hope! I also loved John and Marlena. Let Kate get back with Stefano!!! Interesting!! I liked the other Will much better than this one and I do not like the fact that they will be marrying on the show. Days is getting too liberal and I don’t mean to offend anyone. Half of the characters are never on there, such as Victor! Let it go back to what itused to be!! Please or I will quit it!! No more soaps for me if they continue as they are now!
Dead or alive…i want Nick to come back and make some ‘ghostly’ appearances to terrorize Gabi, Sami and Kate…if dead Gabi will go to prison for his murder…Sami and Kate will get a month in jail where they share a cell with a big tattoed lady name Bertha, 2 years probation and community service together cleaning bed pans at the hospital for tampering with evidence! Or Nicks alive, Gabi will have a breakdown and sent to a mental hospital to explain her abscene while Nick blackmails both Kate and Sami after terrorizing them 4 months while they thought he was dead!!!

Nick needs to be on the canvas for great storytelling much like Mr. jimh suggested.
i know nick is evil but i love the character & i hope he is not dead – i would love to see him reak havoc in all three of their lives…………the weakest link is obviously gabi & the smartest of the three is kate because she is sending texts from nicks phone plus she is going to have his things picked up in ny that he shipped there – she learned a lot being married to the phoenix…………..lol

I am surprise that the producers and writers are putting Samantha Brady in another potential position to be sent to prison so soon after her murder storyline. I am sorry but it looks like it’s time for Nick to leave; he seem to revert back to the person he was when drugs were involved.
why do I have a feeling that if he is alive Maggie will be able to forgive Nick for what he did, that cause the ladies to try to get rid of his body; yet she can’t forgive Victor for doing what was necessary to protect Brady.

Is there any part of you that would miss loving to hate Nick? Does the character hit too close to home? Maybe you don’t love to hate. Maybe it’s the hatred by Nick that you hate. I’m just trying to understand. For the record, I love to hate Nick! I can’t stand Nick, but I love the character! Please reply and try not to hold back.
I don’t “love to hate” Nick. I just hate him. His character is annoying, and the actor is not all up to snuff. I just think his ego is disgusting and his homophobic ways are really off-setting. And any man attempting to rape a woman is dead in my book. He’s a disgusting character. And he needs to take Gabi with him.
Thank you for the sincere reply. I would hope that there is room on DAYS for the subject of homophobia, with or without Nick. If homophobes see how wrong homophobia is, then everybody benifits. I would love to see Wilson struggle in retaining custody of Ariana. If things are properly written, there will be less homophobia. Something good can come from something bad.

He’s alive. He will come back to get revenge on Sami, Kate and Gabi. I mean this is DAYS — it would be more of a shocker if he did actually drown in that river. Maybe Kristen still wandering around the woods out there saves him and the two of them team up to come up with ultimate destroy everyone in Salem plan.
But if a body ever did surface and it was Nick, eventually it would be proven he died in some other way and Sami and Kate will be saved from prison once again.
In a perfect Days world I would love to see Nick get saved by Vivian & Ivan. They nurse him back to health, & take Nick under their wing, & use Nick to get revenge on Kate & Sami by Nick blackmailing them. But, Louise was not happy w/ Days for the way they treated her. I love the way Sami & Kate are working together, now if we could just get Vivian back. Days is loosing to many good actors, lets bring some back.

Vivian and Ivan… were such natural comedic timing… a winsome twosome.. who’s machinations… throughout Salem… always provided thee respite… from all the good vs evil…
Vivian and Ivan would cast… reel… fish… and lie in wait… for the fallout, around them…. and have the last laugh…

The writing has been stellar – riveting – and a show unto thyself
i say this cause… if you watch more than 1… like I watch DAYS and GH… it just seems easier to be more animated, if you will, about GH more than DAYS… but… it’s DAYS that , for me, provides far more intrigue.

He is a legacy character and a Horton with mental issues they woul d ve crazy to get rid him.
I am sure DOOL will not let this super talented young actor slip out of their hands, unless his contract is up and he wants to leave, and that is not the case..There is more story to tell with his character and I see him becoming an atypical antihero and hopefully he will become a fan favorite..The show needs to keep their young talented cast intact, especially after Chandler departure…I am hook to this show for almost 2 years now.
Knowing days they will bring nick back… They can’t kill anybody off without bringing them back… I think nick got what he deserved & should not be brought back, but knowing them he will be back causing more trouble…

Seriously? Days brought back this charming multi . performer….to be played as. Non descript psycho? Um..why? He is a legacy character. These writers are so hit or miss.

I don’t think he is dead, but on the other hand, the character of Gabi is leaving the canvas and she is his connection to the show, so he could be done.
What I’m sick of is the stereotypical “helpless, hysterical, crying woman” syndrome. Real women in 2013 don’t act like that.
Give me a break! In your comments about Chandler Massey, I picture you as a “helpless, hysterical, crying” person. There were a lot of scenes involving Nicks “death” that contained plenty of composure. Are you watching more than clips or is it to hard to see through your tears? LMFAO!!! It’s all good!
Well I am a real woman in 2013 and if I was lugging a dead body that suddenly came back to life, I would get pretty hysterical, and imagine many guys would too. Helpless? Gabi knocked her rapist on the head with a rock. Sami and Kate knew how to get rid of the body without flinching– and managed to drag it to the river and dumped him in the river without any male help at all. As for crying, it is stress reliever. If my ex husband tried to rape me and then I thought I killed him, I think a few tears would be in order and Gabi was the only one crying. If they were reacting to a mouse I might agree with you, but within the context of the scene every emotion out there was justified.
I don’t believe Nick is dead. I believe that he will kidnap Gabby & baby, & through this
ordeal will take his own life, or be killed during the kidnapping.
I think teaming up Kate and Sami and Gabi was hilarious as the two older characters who are “veterans” at this stuff choreographed the disposal.

In the grand tradition of Soap Opera drama, I submit that he will surface in an undisclosed medical facility, or be held hostage in the creepy home of someone who found him washed ashore. And somehow wacko Kristen will surface there, too. Maybe they’ll team up to break out. Now there’s a story we don’t care about.
It’ll take him a couple of months (a few days in soap-opera time) to remember who he is, mind you. And then he’ll get them. Ooooh he’ll get them alright.
I am with you on your ideas. I had thought shortly after they dumped him in that since his body was not found then there is the great opening to bring him back. But a better story then just bringing him back as he was which also would much more advantage to story creativity is for him not to remember who he is or what happened to him . And maybe even have some life adventures out of Salem and actually be a good guy for at least a while. Then he returns as a good guy and is confused with peoples reactions or something brings it all back and turns him back evil and he returns to get revenge. There are options either way . I LOVE teaming Kate and Sami together their so funny & fun I would actually enjoy hanging out with those two. And I Really enjoy that EJ is sticking with Sami . I hope that is permanent. Their Great together.
Oh my god, Sami is getting back into another murder far too soon. Let her and EJ get married first.

Just like Stephano he will rise from the ashes as the writers have done in the past. Makes for a great story line.
I believe that Nick is alive and, the old man is end on the plotting of making Kate, Sami, Gabi and now Sonny very nervous. I love Nick I thought that the writers of days would help his character redeem himself after prison. Nick deserves happiness in his life. I also believe that he will be Christmas miracle for Sami, Kate, Gabi and Sonny.
I wonder if he will show up at the Horton Tree trimming?
Blake Berris is one of DAYS’ best actors ever.Right up there with Jamie Lyn Bauer,Thao Penghliss and Deborah Adair.However he has made a few movies and may continue that career,but I hope he is alive and comes back to terrorize those wicked characters Kate and Sami.
There has been no body recovered – very possible he is still alive.

I definitely think Nick’s still alive. Did you guys notice how one of the angles from today’s days, when Will is talking to that crazy old man in the woods, looked as if someone was watching them? There’s been a few angles like that since Nick “Died”. When Sonny and Gabi were in the town square right before Will found out about what the girls did, there was someone watching them from behind a tree. At first I was like, oh it was Will. But if you think back on it, it appeared that Will was already in the Closet when they got home, waiting for them so he could find out what the hell they have been up too. Obviously I could be wrong, and it could’ve been Will following them home, but it’s just an idea. I think Nick is alive and watching them, and waiting for a good time to strike. He’s either going to try and cut Will and or Sonny out of the picture, or just Kidnap Gabi and Ari. I may be rambling, sorry about that, I’m a talkative fifteen year old…haha. Anyways, DOOL Is amazing, been watching it since I was six.

we see Nick Fallon on the BUD commercial (I am sure he will star in the BUD commercial on the Super Bowl – only because DOOL is big).
I think Nick is NOT dead. too many people know about this. too many people would be accused in this “death”. I think he will show up for Gabi’s baby’s christening and shock the heck out of EVERYONE. writers your story lines are NOT as good as they used to be…. You survived the movement from the old people to the young people but DOOL story lines must get better… right now there are too many dangling. Clean up your act!

I think Nick is alive, and the old man in the woods is the one who saved him. This man knows something; too many episodes of him just appearing to torment Kate, Sami and Gabby. Also, Kate and Sami are too major stars in Days; plus, they are too comical about Nick’s death. Kate, Sami, Will, Sonny and EJ can’t all go the jail. If so, the show would have to shut down! Can’t wait for this storyline to end.

Ok so I have an idea of,what is going to happen. I think Nick is alive and hiding out somewhere in the woods. I think he will get back at everyone who knew anything. Sami and EJ: I think it was Nick taking pictures of Ej and Abigail kissing and he is going to expose home, therefore hurting sami and ej. Kate: I think he is going to do something that will hurt her business, therefore hurting her. Gabi, Will, Sonny: I think Nick still wants Gabi and will blackmail her with either going with him or he turn her into the police and she go to jail, therefore hurting everyone in the process cause she will take the baby
I knew Nick wasn’t dead, part of me was hoping he was. I loved everyone’s look when he walked into the church, priceless. Maybe he wont remember anything! Wouldn’t that be a great twist. And that Julie, I don’t like her character.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Preview: Kristen Locates an Alive Sophia, How Much Does Rita Know About the Birth of Dominic Marino?
Next week, expected surprises and schemes on Days of our Lives. In official spoilers for episodes streaming on Peacock from October 5-9, it looks like Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) has hunted down a very much alive Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), while Marlena (Deidre Hall) admits a deeply concerning confession to her daughter Belle (Martha Madison), and more.
As previously reported, Tajh Bellow (ex-TJ Ashford, General Hospital) is stepping in for one day for Tyler Joseph Andrews in the role of Theo Carver and will share scenes with Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), where Theo finally agrees to go along with Gabi’s plan, after she offered him a job.
Meanwhile, Gabi may have her hands full with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) whose big win in Monte Carlo may have sparked his gambling addiction … all over again, but Philip reveals her has a plan.

Sydney (Sydney Malekeh) is in for a shock when Dante (Franco LoPresti) arrives in Salem. Why is he in Salem? Is he part of the unraveling of the Dominic Marino mystery, since we know he seemed like he was talking to the man in Monte Carlo?
Will Marlena ever figure out what Rita (Maggie Carney) is hiding about the mystery of Dominic, and if Marlena is truly his birth mother or did something more suspicious go on and how deeply involved is Rita in this whole story?
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) finally demands answers of his own from Rita after overhearing on today’s Cliffhanger Friday her conversation with Marlena. Will Rita cop to anything?
Then as noted, while everyone thinks Sophia took her own life, after Kristen “murdered” her, Kristen is infuriated to find she is somehow alive working as waitress in a diner in Kentucky. Will Kristen try to kill Sophia yet again?

‘General Hospital’ Alum Tajh Bellow Fills In for ‘Days of our Lives’ Tyler Joseph Andrews in the Role of Theo Carver
After an earlier post on Thursday, October 1 about General Hospital alumni Tajh Bellow’s (ex-TJ Ashford) upcoming project from Issa Rae’s HOOPAE Digital, comes word that Bellow is temporarily stepping into the role of Days of our Lives Theo Carver to fill in for Tyler Joseph Andrews on the Peacock streaming soap opera.
According to TV Insider, Bellow will be making a one-day appearance next week on the October 6 episode of DAYS as Andrews was unable to make the tape date that was shot 10 months ago on a day last December. Andrews (pictured below) took over the role of Theo in September of 2025.
In Bellow’s upcoming episode as Theo, he will share scenes with Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez). A DAYS spokesperson tells the outlet that Bellow “stepped seamlessly into the role, and the cast and crew were grateful for his professionalism and commitment, albeit for only one episode.”

TAJH WILL BE SEEN IN MULTIPLE PROJECTS IN OCTOBER
As General Hospital fans know, Tajh played the role of TJ Ashford from 2018 to his last appearance in December of 2024. Along the way, he received two Daytime Emmy nominations for his performances as TJ, the last being in 2025 in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category.
In addition, bellow along with Y&R alum Loren Lott will be seen starting on October 14 in the new Love Island spoof series, The Compatibility Experiment. The show will drop exclusively on TikTok and the PineDrama platform.
The Compatibility Experiment gives a satirical look at reality dating shows, think Love Island! The story centers around Kelvin (Bellow) and Camila (Lott), whose relationship is put to the test when they join a reality show to try to win a the million dollar prize.

Four cast members are officially on contract at Days of our Lives, according to the soap opera’s closing credits on Peacock and longtime Days expert and historian Jason 47.
Lauren Koslow (Kate), Sydney Malakeh (Sydney), Sal Stowers (Lani) and Jacob Martinez (Javi) are the names that appear in the closing credits in the contracted cast members section. Days of our Lives fans also note that the series tapes ten months in advance of streaming episodes.
As Days of our Lives fans know, Lauren Koslow has played Kate Roberts since 1996, and recently filled-in for Jess Walton in the role of Jill Abbott on The Young and the Restless when Walton was unable to travel from Oregon to Los Angeles during the specific tape dates. But now, Koslow has been re-upped to contract status as of the September 8 episode.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED
Sydney Malakeh is the newest member of the contract players when she debuted on contract status on the September 10th episode. Days fans first met Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) daughter in scenes in Monte Carlo around a gambling table.
As for Sal Stowers, the actress had been on contract from 2015-2022, then on recurring status with the soap, and would make appearances and limited runs since 2023. Soap fans first saw Sal as Cassandra Foster on Prospect Park’s revival of All My Children in 2013. Sal’s first new contracted episode was noted to be September 16.
Jacob Martinez, debuted on June 30 of this year as the successor to Al Calderon in the role of Javi Hernandez, and has now been bumped up to series regular as of the September 10 episode.

According to the referenced posting from Days of our Lives expert and historian Jason 47, he shared, “It took me four weeks to realize, but the same week that Sydney Malakeh (Sydney) debuted (9/7-9/11), “Days” also put Lauren Koslow (Kate), Jacob Richard Martinez (Javi) and Sal Stowers (Lani) on contract.”
Jason47 added, “This confirms the “errors” of Lani being listed in the credits the week of 9/7 but not appearing, and Kate and Javi appearing in the credits the week of 9/14 but not appearing. It also now makes sense why Javi and Sydney are being listed before Rafe and Philip in the credits.”
He also shared, “For the record, Lauren Koslow’s first date back on contract was 9/8, Jacob Richard Martinez was upped to contract on 9/10, Sydney Malakeh debuted on contract 9/10 and Sal Stowers’ first date back on contract was 9/16. The records will be fixed on the website in the coming days.”
