It all comes down to next week, folks! Finally, after an almost agonizing yet eventful wait, Robin (Kimberly McCullough) is poised to walk back into Dr. Patrick Drake’s (Jason Thompson) life. The question is, will she do so?
On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, Patrick and Sabrina’s (Teresa Castillo) wedding is underway. The bride looking beautiful, and the groom as handsome as ever.
After Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) has been saved from the clutches of Faison (Anders Hove) at Wyndemere, Robin feels free enough to go and try to reunite with her husband and their little girl, Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer)! Robin knows she has little time as Patrick is about to marry another woman!
Robin manages to get to the church, but when she does, Patrick and Sabrina have joined hands at the front of the altar as the wedding is underway. Robin sees this and its a moment of, will she let herself be seen and stop the wedding? Or, will she slink away for now, and let Patrick move on with his life? It’s the ultimate cliffhanger, in a string of cliffhangers, leading up to this major moment! Will the Patina fans win out? Or, will the Scrubs fans get the reunion they have long waited for? Or, will no one couple be the victor?
Now, we ask you, what do you think will go down at the wedding? Will Robin stop the nuptials? What do you think will happen if she shows herself? Will Sabrina be crushed? Will Patrick be dumbfounded? Let us know… and tune-in next week!

I am happy Robin is back, but she left no one forced her to. I love sabrina and the way she got played was not fair. Lets b honest Robin was gone for at least a year and she was his past. Sabrina should be his future and she i pregnant. I believe sabrina and patrick has great chemistry.

Is kim m. staying…is she recurring with time off to direct ect. or will she be leaving…without knowing this its a little hard to predict the outcome…i cant see a mother giving up her child just to see her husband…whom she still loves…be happy with another woman, especially when his heart seems to still belong to Robin…they could reunite…Robin could walk away without Patrick and co. ever knowing shes alive…Patrick could shock all and pick Sabrina over Robin…maybe she aint even Robin…without knowing if Kim is staying or goin, i say dump them both and marry Elizabeth!!! lol

Kimberly has a directing career and I really feel this time RC is going to have accommodate her and write her out, as she wanted when she left past time.

Love, love KM, but she’s made it clear that she wants to direct. As much as I want a reunion, I don’t want a reunion story that will end in six months. I respect her career choice and support her 100%. That said, Patrick needs a love story with fire, and Elizabeth could be it.

Robin is the only women for Patrick. Getting tired of being baited by TIIC for their their pet nurse. Patrick still loves Robin and there is no contest since Scrubs had years over this propped romance or lack of romance of 6 months. Kimberly said she signed a contract and can do both like others on GH. ROBIN & PATRICK ALWAYS!
I agree they need to keep Robin & Patrick together now… let them be the strong Marriage couple on this soap… I love the way they look at each other and the rles they play… I dont think Sebrina should have Patricks baby.. I think Robin and Patrick should have another baby and stay as the happy family as they are…
RC and writers are very good at creating twists/turns and shockers!
We all expect that Robin will rush in and stop the wedding, that happens in most all soap weddings.. so not original.
I think RC will give us a shocker and the wedding will go on, very unusual in a soap..

Robin is alive which means Patrick is still legally married to Robin.. Their marriage will be null & voided.. Patrick & Robin Drake reunited ! He still loves Robin very much. Patrick’s love for Robin goes much deeper than his love for Sabrina.Robin will open that door and stop the wedding.. Don’t want Patrick to marry Sabrina. She could find someone else…
I hope Robin do leave for good and pursue her career. Patrick loves Robin but i do not believe he is in love with her. In my eyes their chemistry is not there any more. The character of sabrina is more fascinating to me now and she did not do anything to deserve the hurt or pain patrick has caused her. I’m not saying its robin’s fought but someone needs to take the blame, so i blame the people who wrote the script.
Robin doesn’t give up her life or her husband and child for a pet nurse. Let her find her own family. No way Robin walks away from them since she didn’t forgive her parents when they left her and would never do that to Patrick and Emma. The ONLY COUPLE IS DR AND DR PATRICK DRAKE, PATRICK AND ROBIN DRAKE and their EMMA!

I’m not even entertaining any other thought, plot or otherwise… that Robin will be .. re-united with HER husband… and HER child….
would this quash all the drama, ratings… and since it has elevated.. GH.. that the writers would continue to string along… the audience..
this is such a BIG story… that it’s real to me… I’m in awe from afar.. not because I want that.. it’s not unattainable… it’s how it should be.. right? it’s got all the ingredients for true love.. that family… and just feeling complete… and it’s in all of us… and it’s being played out by superlative actors… which makes it that much more impressionable.. hence we laugh, cheer, cry… that it’s possible.. to believe.. and know.. we have the same instincts.
it would seem… the writers gave pause… that Robin would? NO! absolutely not.. but.. cheers in the writing.. this 4-5 day wait… is angst and driven… to spout out… Scrubs! is ON!

I don’t see the chemistry between Sabrina & Patrick.. It’s more like admiration than chemistry.. I will always prefer Patrick w/ Robin.. Sabrina is very child-like to me.. Like Alice in Wonderland….And Cinderella looking for her prince charming…I have always liked Robin from day one and still do.
Please let her stop the wedding. Robin and Patrick should be together. If Patrick was so in love with Robin and they overcome so much. Please do not destroy the love story of Patrick and Robin. Let her stop the wedding. Can not wait to see her reunion with Patrick, Emma, Mac and Maxie.

Is that your opinion or did KM said this. That is why each actor is not shown everyday because people are doing other things with their lives because doing soap opera. If Sabrina takes Robin place it would not be long that Patrick kick her to the curve. But I hope he stay with Robin and a cure is found for HIV

I would like to see her interrupt the wedding and see everyone’s reactions… but something tells me we are not going to get that. She may get grabbed before anyone sees her or she may decide to let them go through with it. My guess is Jerry or Dr. O. grab her… or even someone else… supposedly this whole scheme may have been masterminded by someone else… could it be Ava or Victor Jerome or some Cassadine?
OMG, Robin MUST stop this complete travesty of a wedding, and put an end to the ludicrous, contrived “Putrina” coupling once and for all!!!! Enough already….watching that forced twosome this past year constituted cruel and unusual punishment. Our sentence has been served in full…time for the ultimate payoff of a Robin/Patrick reunion. (And if Sappy is “crushed,” that’s just is the icing on the cake for those of us who have had more than our fill of her stupefying, sophomoric, and saccharin storyline.)

I don’t like that it ended that way. When a person is meant to interrupt the wedding, THAT interruption is usually the cliffhanger- Patrick looking gobsmacked should be the last shot before it faded to black, on a long weekend no less. The fact that it wasn’t makes my stomach churn and I just pray they’re pulling a fast one on us. If I have to see more of this wedding go through, I just might have to gouge out my eyes and pluck out my eardrums. I feel like there’s a better chance of Patrick just not wanting to go through the wedding than Robin speaking up. Would they have her do it after a scene or two, before the wedding ceremony goes much further? Would they be that generous? I’m having my doubts….
I was really let down by that ending, and in turn the whole episode. I’d really believed they’d use Thanksgiving as the time to have Patrick finally see Robin. I’m very disappointed that it didn’t happen. Not “on the edge of my seat anxious” Ron and Frank, just pissed off.

Patrick is standing up there, marrying Sabrina, but consumed by thoughts of Robin and somehow blurts out her name as his intended wife? That leaves the perfect opening for Robin to then reveal herself, feeling comfortable enough to show her face finally realizing any doubts of Patrick’s love for her has not diminished in any way. Maybe Ron just doesn’t see Robin as the kind of person that would ever make a spectacle, even while her husband is marrying another woman? Maybe he’s trying to save the character from doing something un-Robin like, even if it meant the audience having to suffer more through this wedding.
Romantic, true to character and hilarious? I’d take it!

So glad there’s someone else as vehemently opposed to this inane wedding as I am….I know the watching and waiting for it to end is totally torturous, but self-harming is NOT the way to go! Just yell, moan and scream at the television and then come post your frustrations here….it’s VERY therapeutic!!!!! (However, hopefully, it shall not be necessary for much longer!!!!) ; )

Dr. Drake… finding out via Robin… stopping the wedding… is a fan conundrum… the fallout… and or reveal.. for Jason Thompson… to REEL his real self… after ALL this time… two years… she’s been gone… to finally… give the audience…. and JT himself… HIS character finally reveals….
i’d lose it… if he’s so shocked… in disbelief… that he reals Patricks kept up his self for Emma’s sake… and simply loses it… so torn up … existing… that it’s a shock to his system… and he shuts down

That would have worked for me, although what I really would prefer is for Patrick’s self-doubts and cold feet to get the best of him, so he flees the altar, leaving a crushed Sappy there to cool her heels, and just as he flings open the church doors to escape, there stands Robin!!!!! Awesome…….

Would have been better without this mega-long GH cliffhanger, but courtesy of Mr. Fairman we have this lovely spot to commiserate and speculate until Monday arrives….oh, and did you notice that ABC repeated that insane Halloween episode with Dr. O. and Faison???? That made the excruciating wait until next week (not to mention the holiday cooking duties!) a bit more bearable and definitely extra enjoyable !!!!
I like the way you think, Jules! Never watched “Friends,” but totally get the reference. That would be an EXCELLENT way for Robin to know that she must show herself…if Patrick would utter her name while taking his vows! Love, love, LOVE it!!!! : )
WHAT IS ALL THE HOOPLA??? Kim is there on the canvas for a while. She WILL reveal herself, they will be reunited, Sabrina WILL involve herself with Carrrrlos. BUT…this story is not quite over even with the reunion. And by the way Emma will be first to see Robin..Robin and Patrick will now have to deal with the whole fall out of her faked death and his blithely moving on. Cuz for real..Pat .. ya could’ve gave it just a bit more time to be honest. And for those interested Jean Passanante has LEFT the building leaving the writers room open for more interpretation. On pins and needles to see who shows up now because as good as RC is he still needs that added injection.

I can’t think beyond.. more than the family back together… how long KM is with the show… lord knows.. this site… spoilers… cast… production changes… are so ongoing.. that… to value and care about the best part of GH.. giving us the audience.. fans.. finally… the reward we know should be
Just search “Ross Emily Wedding” on youtube and it’s the first link that comes up. Ahhh, that would be an amazing twist to cast upon this sorry excuse of a wedding. It honours everything we already know about Patrick and Robin, while giving the audience a good chuckle or two.
But I think I read on this site those “good spoilers” you were alluding to in another post. So even if my idea wasn’t meant to be (though it’s Ron’s loss quite frankly 😀 ) as long as some form of it happens tomorrow and they get the result right, I’ll forgive them for that horrible cliffhanger on Wednesday. I’m so excited for Patrick to see his beloved again!!!

Kim signed a contract, not sure how long, but it is long term. I was a major Patina fan, but didn’t watch when Robin was in before…. Well like Kirsten Storms did with Maxie, Kim has won me over. I so want a scrubs reunion. Robin is my favorite these days….though on this show it is tough to pick a favorite… I make no secret to the fact that DAYS is my favorite soap followed closely by GH. That is because DAYS IMO is better written and strongly family centric. The GH cast however, is the most talented cast on daytime hands down! Kim M, Kirsten Storms, Roger Howarth, Laura Wright, Tony Geary, Kelly Monacco, Nancy Lee Grahn, Jason Thompson, Bradford Anderson and the incredibly in matched talented Jane Elliot all make my GH viewing enjoyable. I could have kept going too, but I don’t want to be here all night!
ITA. KMc’s Robin is my favorite character. It does not matter who she is paired with; she has chemistry with everyone. Be it Michael Sutton, Steve Burton or Jason Thompson. All her pairings have been immensely popular and fan faves. I don’t mind who she is paired with as long as she is on the show.

I can’t wait for next week, and i honestly wouldn’t say this but I really wish it was Sunday and Monday we could see the show, I’ve not felt this way in a long time. I know that Robin will stop this wedding, and Emma will with her mother and finally see Patrick’s face when he sees her alive and not dead. I love Patrick and Robin and I know that they will finally see each other. Patrick will finally see that not listening to his doubts almost caused him to make the biggest mistake of his life. I’VE BEEN WAITING TWO LONG YEARS FOR THIS DAY!!!! I kind of wish GH was tomorrow and Monday would be the fall out!!!! I started watching GH because of this couple and stayed because of them, Came back to GH when I heard KMC was coming back for a while. I can’t wait for Robin to finally take back her family!!!!!

Of course there will be trials and tribulations associated with the Scorpio-Drake reunion, but as long as “Sappy” gets her richly-deserved comeuppance, that’s all that matters in the short term. Her possessive, clingy behavior with both Patrick and Emma is over-the-top, immature, and tiresome. For those of us who have suffered through this very long year of the annoying GBWB nonsense, it cannot end soon enough!
Sabrina stood with Patrice through all his heartache and never demeaned one thing from him..
she was there for Emma and she cared for both Patrick and Emma and never complained and never once demeaned that Patrick stop talking about Robin, rather she supported him through all..
Sabrina is very compassionate and understanding, and loves Patrick and Emma deeply..

@su0000….Actually, it was Liz, Maxie, OldLulu, Anna, Duke, Epiphany, Mac, etc. who stood by Patrick (and Emma) to see them through the worst of their grief, not to mention his addiction. They were there from the very beginning of the family’s sad journey and asked nothing in return….they did it out of pure and unselfish love for Robin and HER husband and child, with no motivation of personal gain for themselves. Little Miss “Ugly Betty” Nightingale set her “coke-bottle encased” peepers on Drake Jr. from Day One and just patiently bided her time while ingratiating herself to his daughter, all in the hope that she could snag herself the good doctor, so please put away the violins and dispense with the altruistic-based revisionism. This whole fairytale farce was a completely contrived coupling of convenience from the start….to even try to call this a great romance and compare it to the real, deeply-based adult relationship of the Scorpio-Drakes does a disservice to the history of the characters involved.
@Shay…I agree. Sabrina as originally intended..like it or not, was a good match for Patrick. I think the whole wrong end of the stick came with the inclusion of her gay BFF Felix. RC has literally forced this character on viewers and members of the existing canvas (i.e.) Carly for one. I have no idea why RC thinks ALL women fawn over gay men. THEY DON’T. This whole arc missed the mark because of the existential character(s )close to the Sabrina Character.
@davleestev….On paper, Sabrina MAY have been a good idea, perhaps even as she was originally intended. However, the problem was in the execution…the devil was in the details……was it the over-the-top, sugary Disney fairytale-fueled aspects of the storyline, a totally miscast role or just the simple lack of necessary charisma and talent to carry-off the character so as to make her likeable and endearing? I believe it was a combination of all three, and the obstinate refusal of those in charge to recognize that their great force-fed “Ugly Betty” experiment wasn’t working (and make changes accordingly) turned this into one of the greatest soap debacles in history. That being said, while the Felix as Sappy’s BFF plot was annoying beyond belief, I don’t think that Mr. DuBois was the culprit, per se…when he mingles amongst the other denizens of PC, I find him to be perfectly acceptable albeit sometimes needlessly colorful….they could have made him a relative of Epiphany’s or given him an actual function besides being Sappy’s nosy matchmaker, and he would have been bearable, but sadly as was every person who was sucked into the stupid Santiago vortex, he merely became a stereotypical waste of space whose only job was to make “Princess Sparkledust” shine in comparison.

Nothing like doubling down on a gross error in judgment, is there? Some people never learn….. >: p
We have been promised a reunion~what that reunion looks like~only the writers know~for sure way too many people now know Robin is alive to be able to not have a reunion of some kind.
Kim has some kind of contract and after reading lots of spumors and spoilers, IMO her canvas time will change after the reunion to accommodate her directing. Remember she found a cure~she might have to travel or will she become a stay at home mom n wife.
However it plays out in the end a mom is not going to go on abandoning her daughter Emma.

True….and it was one of the few times in recent memory that that child said anything even remotely adorable. Ever since she was paired with her new “playmate,” Sappy, Emma has become really bratty, obnoxious and overbearing….did you ever notice such was not so much the case when Liz, Anna, Duke, Maxie, anyone else really (save for Felix or Britt…LOL) was in charge of her care? Hopefully, once she is reunited with her REAL mother, that situation will be remedied.

They are the best soap couple.(super) I have watched GH since 1975 and have seen a lot of ups and downs with the show and have still have watched everyday, but the last year and a half I find my self missing days and days and not watching the whole show ,fast forwarding through it,sad because it can’t hold my interest after all these years. 50 years of a sure thing and now I will be surprised if GH lasts another 2 years, I think that the writing it not good. How they change who the characters are, Robin would of never thought to stay away from Emma, Patrick maybe but never Emma.
Also I would rather watch repeats from years ago then the last year and a half. that’s really sad.

for those of us.. year in and year out… decades plus viewers.. who have this outlet… blog… to vent… cheer.. rant and rave… deservedly so…

What I was trying to express (in the most polite and genteel manner possible) was that Car-LOS! is obviously an “A” man, and that was apparently upon what he was focusing when he mistook Robin for Sappy. I know I’ve read this a lot, and I’d love for this to be the case. But there is also the possibility that they could use the whole ‘Robin was legally declared dead’ excuse and therefore Patrick is by law no longer married in the eyes of any court. So it just depends on what angle Ron will take. Soaps seem to go back and forth between the two depending on what’s convenient for the story. I’m hoping Ron sees the former as the more convenient choice, obviously.

IF the GH spoiler I just read is at all accurate, then I can safely say that the majority of us should enjoy the upcoming ride on the long and winding road of Robin and Patrick’s romance. Although it may be a bumpy one, we are about to have at least some of our dreams fulfilled. Of course, I am keeping in mind that old adage, “Be careful what you wish for….” Enough said until Monday….have a good weekend all!!!

No, jimh, I think that’s really Anna….right now, Dr. O. seems temporarily out of commission, but that’s not to say she won’t be back for future evil-doing…at least she’d better be!!! As for Sappy, yeah, she was rocking a retro-Geisha fusion do. Since you brought it up, I have to say that her entire style story was sort of all-over-the-place. First, we are supposed to believe that she was wearing her “mamacita’s” wedding gown, yet given her age, that should date the dress to late ’70’s/early/mid-’80’s tops, and the fashions of those times looked absolutely nothing like what she was wearing. It had more of a 1940’s/50’s flavor…like from her grandmama’s era!!!! Secondly, did anyone else notice that certain elements seemed to be based upon Kate Middleton’s royal wedding garb? The previously mentioned padded bustle was an exact copy, as was the lace bodice, although the neckline and sleeves differed….no doubt just another weak attempt to make this hideously common girl to appear “princess-like!” The only thing missing was the lengthy train and Pippa to carry it!!!! Oh do me a favor…….and give it up already!!!!! Lol…..

I read in a soap opera digest a small paragraph of KM being interviewed about the whole Patrick wedding thing, And she concluded by saying the whole wedding thing is going to be truly heartbreaking.but heartbreaking for her or Sabrina???.. It would be too easy for robin to just stop the wedding and ride off with Patrick… I think she will not be able to stop the wedding and it will take a while for robin to reunite with Patrick and Emma, much to my dismay!!!!
No so. Sadly, Robin has been legally declared dead, so if Patrick marries Sabrina it is legal in the eyes of the law. It’s on Robin to remove that status in the court system. I hate it, I want that wedding STOPPED!

But what would really shock the audience is if Sabrina stopped her own perfect wedding fairytale after seeing a glimpse of Robin for herself before the wedding. Show her wrestling with telling Patrick at the altar. Just don’t let her disappear and fade away. She has established relationship with Emma and Patrick. That doesn’t just go away because the dead is resurrected. That’s drama!

I’ve always believed in the pairing of Patrick and Robin from the being of the lust stage to the total full (love) boat relationship- they’d gone through everything possible two people could go through together (even death) and evolved through their journey to become one, walk down the aisle and share their committed love to all, sanctioned by God. While I’ve grown to like the Sabrina character more than I did in the beginning, I do not feel or see her with Patrick. I have watched KM ever since she started on GH and saw her through all of her relationships. She is a strong female with a fierce moral fiber. I know she doesn’t want to hurt Patrick and Emma anymore than they have been, knowing how much they grieved for and missed her after she “died” and full well realizing that she’d left Patrick her with her wish for him to move on should she succumb to her illness. I do have strong hope that she will interrupt the wedding ( when KM does leave I’d rather see Patrick with Elizabeth rather than Sabrina (who should reconnect with Carrlos), but I’m thinking either Brad or Carrlos might voice the objection or perhaps Britt

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Carly and Lulu Make Plans to Rescue Their Children; Anna Looks Determined to Secure Her Freedom
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, the race is on! Can Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get to Rocco (Finn Carr) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in time to ensure their safety from Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)? Can Carly (Laura Wright) with the help of her brother, Lucas (Van Hansis) rescue Josslyn (Eden McCoy) from captivity at Wyndemere? These questions may be answered, plus the return of the one and only Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are on tap!
In the just released General Hospital spoilers video for the week of June 22-26, Lulu tells her mother, Laura (Genie Francis), “Dante and I have to get to Rocco before Cullum!” Meanwhile, Rocco (Finn Carr) looks angered and emotional as Britt walks through their cabin hideout. Does Rocco know his parents are on the way to find them, or has Cullum already tracked them down to the British Virgin Islands?
Back in Port Charles, Carly is informing Lucas that his niece, “is a WSB agent.” She knows Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is being held against her will at Wyndemere, and she has to find a way to get her out. Lucas agrees with Carly’s plan of, “We go in and we don’t leave without Josslyn!” Elsewhere, Josslyn is looking worried for her future as she is stuck in captivity thanks to Cassius, Cullum and Sidwell!

The final moments of the teaser promo reveal Anna in a psychiatric clinic in France. We have not seen her for months after Cullum, Sidwell and Pascal fed her hallucinogenics to make her believe her arch nemesis, Cesar Faison was alive!
Now, the doctors walk towards her hospital bed, where we see the super spy calmly knitting. Is Anna back to normal and playing everyone to get out of her predicament, or does she still remain deeply traumatized … or both?

Maurice Benard Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ Writers; Teases Upcoming Sonny Scenes with Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric
With the highly-anticipated returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on this week’s June 24 episode of General Hospital, Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) upcoming return on July 13, which also serves as the ABC daytime drama’s 16,000 episode, things are about to fire on all cylinders in the story, as noted today by series star, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
On Father’s Day, the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor and mental health activist took to his Instagram and expressed in a video that he has some unbelievable upcoming senes with the aforementioned Burton and Hughes. Add to that Nazneen Contractor (Justine Turner) and Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), where Benard gave credit where credit is due to the GH writing team, which is led by co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten..
In this video, Benard said, “I just want to get on here and say that I did some work with Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Rick Hearst, Nazneen Contractor, and they’re all just fantastic. Truly fantastic. But, I want to say the writing was just exceptional. It truly was. It was exceptional. So, thankful for that kind of writing. I know writers don’t get the credit a lot, but I just want to say to the General Hospital writing team, keep rolling!”

So now the question becomes, with a major tease like that, what is about to go down between Sonny, Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric? Will we finally get to the end of the line for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), as previously teased by the GH co-head writers? Will we learn what happened to Jason and Anna, fully? Will Justine and Sonny becomes closer or stop their liaisons? And what of Ric? Will he be true blue to his brother or double-cross him? There is a lot at stake as we move further into the summer and one that looks like it could be one of the more exciting ones in years!
FINOLA HUGHES CONFIRMED AMAZING SCENES WITH MAURICE BENARD
As a punctuation point to his video, Benard also shared this written message in the post: “I just did some wonderful scenes with Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Finola Hughes and Nazneen Contractor and and unbelievable writing, freaking amazing scenes that you will see in the near future on General Hospital.” In fact, Finola Hughes jumped in the post comment thread and responded, “I loved our scenes so much xxx”
Fans will most likely see all the scenes Benard referred to later in July, since GH tapes approximately six weeks ahead of air.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Announces Upcoming Release of His First Single, ‘If You Need Me’
In a surprise move, Daytime Emmy winner, Chad Duell (ex-Michael Corinthos, GH) is getting ready to unveil a new chapter of his career in music.
The former GH star, where he played the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for 15 years, has announced his new single, “If You Need Me” will drop on Friday, June 26. The single is now available for pre-order on Spotify and major music streaming platforms and is distributed by DistroKid.
Taking to his Instagram story over the weekend, to announce the pre-save of his new single, Chad expressed, “I’ll make a full post about what I’ve been up to and my music once it goes live next week, but you can pre-save my first single so it goes straight to your Spotify once it drops next week.”

SINCE LEAVING GENERAL HOSPITAL
Previously, since his departure from the ABC soap opera. Chad starred alongside Zach Mendez in the world premiere of of Yum Yum at Annapolis, a new play written by Bruce Reisman. Duell last appeared on General Hospital on the January 21, 2025 episode.
The part was recast with Rory Gibson who debuted as the new Michael in May of 2025 during the Nurses’ Ball episodes and who has remained in the role since that time.
In an interview earlier this year on The Able Show, Duell said on his decision to exit the soap opera, “I was blessed to be part of that (show) for as long as I have, but what happens sometimes is if you’re doing the same thing, especially in a creative field for such a long time, you can get a little burnt out in a way. It can make you a little depressed, so that’s kind of what happened. On top of that, I had other things going on in my life at the time. My father passed away recently and I just needed a reset. So, I stepped away. A lot of times you have to go through some stuff to really step into that next level. I needed to kind of feel uncomfortable.”
