The Bay is a web series (it’s exclusively available online as it was exlplained in the article.) It’s not on any channel. Actors like Matthew Ashford are doing both The Bay and the soaps they are on (in Ashford’s case Days of Our Lives.) So don’t rule out Tristain Rogers not coming back to GH. Give the show a chance. Each episode is only 10 minutes long so it’s not like you are wasting any time (unless you just don’t like it which is based solely on opinion.)

The Bay is in independent Emmy-nominated serial drama that, for now, is only available online. Currently, the show is not affiliated with the ABC, NBC, or CBS networks. It boasts an impressive cast of iconic Daytime and Primetime television stars including Tristan Rogers, as well as Mary Beth Evans, Charles Shaughnessy, Matthew Ashford, Lane Davies, Lilly Melgar, Real Andrews, Fiona Hutchinson, Kimberlin Brown, Marie Wilson, Sandra Dee Robinson, Martha Madison, Nicolas Coster, Jed Allen, Ignacio Serricchio, and many other popular daytime stars. The Bay also features cast members outside the soap world including Kristos Andrews, Derrell Whitt, and Camden Toy.… Read more »

Makes me think ..This series is on line……………They could put shows like this on line but not OLTL..They can do this for all other shows but not OLTL…They have the money to put these kind of shows on-line but not OLTL…………..They have the money for the sets, clothes ,etc. But not for OLTL…………………………………………………Again this really makes me have second thoughts that they just woudn’t do this for OLTL…But they can do this for everybody else…They are such hypocrites & liars…They have money to put this show on line whoever it is..There weren’t any other interests except Prospect Park…Are they the… Read more »

Okay, how is Fiona Hutchinson still as hot as she was as Jenna on Guiding Light and Gabrielle on OLTL? And I love that she still wears the same type of sexy outfits that Jenna Bradshaw wore! She looks the same!!!!

And that sexy twink she has tied in the bed? YUM!!!

The Bay is so good. Right now I’d rather watch it than most of the soaps on Daytime television. Charlie did a great job and Fiona Hutchinson is fabulous in that teddy!

Wow. What a powerful installment this episode was. Charlie made me cry. As a mother, you can’t imagine being in this position, and just thinking about it is enough to put you over the edge. I was blown away by him in this. Wonderful job. Talk about making me care!

Fiona is one scary mother. I do NOT wanna be in the room when she hears the bad news. I love her add, here. What a great casting choice. Gregori really knows how to cast great people in these roles.

Judith Chapman Returning to The Young and the Restless

And now for some more mamma drama! Judith Chapman is set for another return to The Young and the Restless in her role as Gloria Fisher.

That means that we hopefully will see scenes between Chapman and her two on-screen sons, Greg Rikaart (Kevin) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael).

Soap Opera Digest broke the bit of casting news.

Chapman was last seen in the role in 2018 and then headed over to Days of our Lives to play Diana for awhile.

Judith took over the role of Gloria in 2005 replacing Knots Landing favorite, Joan Van Atk.

Glad to hear Judith will be back on our daytime screens? Comment below.

Greg Vaughan Shares Farewell To DAYS & Scene Partner Arianne Zucker: “Never a Dull Moment, Laughing or Crying, She was the Party, Always with a smile!”

Tuesday’s episode of Days of our Lives had Eric Brady saying a sudden farewell to his loved ones before he departs Salem for Africa to help those in need.  That marks the on-screen departure of Daytime Emmy winner, Greg Vaughan who will last be seen on Wednesday’s episode.

As DAYS fans were aware, Greg wrapped his run months ago on the NBC daytime drama series, but since before the Covid-19 pandemic DAYS taped almost seven months ahead, Eric’s on-screen exit is airing this week.

The actor also posted a special photo album of pics with his longtime on-screen partner and love interest, Arianne Zucker (Nicole).  In that, he posted this message: “To my Ride or Die partner Ari!! Never a dull moment, laughing or crying, she was the party, always with a smile! Love ya #ERICOLE”

WATCH: Ellen DeGeneres Address Toxic Workplace Issues & How She is a ‘Work in Progress’ in Talk Show Season Opener

Today marks the return of daytime’s Ellen DeGeneres Show for its 18th season in syndication.  Ahead of its airing, the show dropped the video of Ellen’s opening monologue where she addresses to the audience at home the allegations that came to light over the summer regarding her, and the toxic work environment behind the scenes of her popular series.

Those allegations prompted an internal investigation by WarnerMedia, which led to the dismissal of several key producers at the talk show.

Previously, Ellen shared that she would address what had happened during the new season, but she did so at the top of its first episode back, and repeated some of the same sentiments she also shared in a letter to her crew and staffers.

DeGeneres expressed  “I know that I’m in a position of privilege and power, and I realize that with that comes responsibility, and I take responsibility for what happens at my show. This is The Ellen DeGeneres Show. I am Ellen DeGeneres.”  She was quick to point out that she is turning the page and that “today, we are starting a new chapter.”

Addressing what has been her off-screen behavior vs. her on-air persona, Ellen said: “The truth is, I am that person that you see on TV. I am also a lot of other things.  Sometimes I get sad. I get mad. I get anxious. I get frustrated. I get impatient. And I am working on all of that. I am a work in progress… I don’t think I’m that good of an actress that I could come out here every day for 17 years and fool you. This is me, and my intention is to always be the best person I can be. And if I’ve ever let someone down, if I’ve ever hurt their feelings, I’m so sorry for that.”  Within the monologue she shares how she became known as the “Be Kind Lady” a moniker that also came back to bite her during the summer.

So, what do you think about what Ellen has to say at the top of the new season of her show? Do you think this is enough of an explanation to the public? Are you ready to watch her new season? Comment below.
