Don Swazye To Appear On General Hospital!

The brother of the late Patrick Swayze, soap alum, Don Swayze is set to appear on General Hospital starting this week on the January 5th episode.

Don, who previously appeared on Y&R as Shawn Roberts, and also that of a pawnbroker on Days of our Lives, will be appearing on to the GH canvas as a homeless man named Buzz.

According to the latest issue of ABC Soaps In Depth, Buzz will be involved in a story featuring Julian (William deVry) when he makes his debut.

Swayze’s other TV roles have included parts on: True Blood and Carnivale to name just a few.

So, how to you think Buzz will tie-in to Julian’s story? Did this homeless man know some intel into who planted the bomb that ultimately killed Morgan, and whose intended target was the mobster himself? Comment below.

Buzz? LOL. Why is it that thugs and homeless souls have these ‘hard’ names?…. for lack of a better word.
Perhaps, Buzz saw something or someone fidgeting around Julian’s car? Will he use this info to extort money from the culprit?….. or will he go to Julian with the info for money.
Two-edged sword! The end result for dear Buzz will be the same: MONEY. By the same token, his mouth may be permanently shut by whomever planted the bomb.

i will eventually become homeless and im not joking…call me Buzz…2016 was a bad year for us and it looks like 2017 isnt going to be a Happy New Year as well!!!

I am so sorry, Jimmy, that you still haven’t found a way….some help to get you out of your financial situation.
Oh, please seek help, Jimmy. As I told you before, there are people to whom you may speak about this. A priest? A pastor? I truly wish you the best, my friend….mostly, I wish I could help you, somehow. How?
Keep posting, I look forward to knowing if things get better for you.

That’s true. He is going to be paid, to keep his mouth shut about some harsh truth. And it will obviously be about Julian and the car bomb.

Connor….What if Tom planted the bomb and he needed to be eliminated by the one who hired him, after the deed was done? The one in power, he who put this in motion, could not run the risk of having Tom be questioned by the cops and expose him, whoever he is.

Maybe Buzz will have a pottery scene with Emily Quartermaine!

HaHa.

Good point about the naming of the homeless man. Good grief – someone actually got paid to come up with “Buzz”. Likely not a good sign of the quality of writing that will be associated with this storyline. I really wish the Julian and Alexis storylines would move along. They are really dragging lately and are dull. Secrets, secrets…good grief, let’s move on already.

Well, Max. It doesn’t look like it will happen soon. Julian has to work his magic, first and foremost. He’s a good guy, now. Pathetic.
He needs to convince everyone that he held his wife at knife-point for her own good. That’s how screwed up this story is.

I don’t know who Shawn Roberts or Don Swayze are, so no big deal for me , if it’s supposed to be a big deal that is.

Hey, SuzieQ….have you ever seen DIRTY DANCING? Don is/was Patrick’s brother.

Its funny, when you see celebrity brothers and sisters, they seem one chromosome off from being THAT person.

hey CC !
I seen sone of it.. it is really old..
It was sorta disco stuff ??

Looks like he will be a bad guy so I might like him lol .. 🙂

LOL, su… the movie is a year younger than I am. Yes, it may be before our time; but age of something great is only relative.
My grandmother had a dance studio in the city, and believe me, those dance moves never go out of style. I do think disco was all the rage in the late 70’s…..
You know; SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and stuff? The Brothers Gibb ( BG’s).
So, I don’t know if DIRTY DANCING fits that category, as the theme was based and set in the 50’s. The genre in the movie is actually salsa, cha-cha-cha and such…
Yes, SuzieQ, Buzz’s type will probably prove to be right up your alley…..Lol….
I’m with you….I like the bad boys. …..just depends on whom it is. I will judge after I see Buzz in action.

He sure looks like his late brother Patrick which is hard to look at. Hope the makeup artists do change his scrubby looks. Other than this comment, I am not familiar with his acting career so will reserve further comments until I see his acting ability.

yeah, right… don’t blink too fast… The fabulous Baker brothers are both gone?

what the hell

these two actors had potential

what was the point of Seth Baker beyond his total HOTTED OUT !

Seth Baker as played by: Michael Rodrick NEEDS to return… on contract

Anna begets

This is a trend on GH, we get teased with these good actors who come and go and we are stuck with Nathan, Lulu, Jordan and Andre! I love that guy Winston who seems to be Olivia Jerome’s right hand man.

Ah-ha, Timmmy. So, is Olivia Jerome the owner of those hands? (I have no clue as to whom she may be. A sister?).
I figured those were too small and delicate ( but lethal, nonetheless?) to belong to a man. And, too young to belong to Helena. I thought Tom was involved with the bomb, as well, and used as a scapegoat.
What about Nelle? Could she be behind this sudden makeshift organization, devised to get Julian off the hook? Too young?:

That should read “those HANDS were too small….”. Sorry.

I am thinking “Buzz” might have witnessed something while being out on the streets. Maybe he secretly witnessed Alexis hitting Julian with her car, and running away and just leaving him their. Maybe he witnessed something about the car bomb in Julian’s car. Maybe he secretly knows that Morgan is really alive somewhere.

That’s a very good premise, as well, Connor. Hadn’t thought of that. Lots of possibilities, which are not one iota far-fetched for a soap. A last-minute damage-control job will be dug up.
..hey, Liz’s rapist ( forgot is name) could be blamed for planting the bomb.
Regardless, Buzz is most-likely up to his neck in this. But, to be honest with you, I am not enjoying this run-around stuff. This story is not having any effect on me, one way or the other.
The idea that Julian is holding Alexis mentally ‘hostage’ is a turn off. I am not taken by the fact that a woman is once again at the mercy of a man….especially by a deviant mongrel such as Julian and his ilk.

I agree, Alexis was so strong AND look at the two main writers on the show, WOMEN!

@Timmm.
Right, Timmmy. These writers should cower in shame for putting Alexis, as a woman, in this position…
Then again, those fans who want these two back together will say that Julian is just looking out for her by parking himself in her house.’Gimme’ a break!! Everything else has failed; thus, the first thing he should have done was get Alexis’ children involved….not just hang around, in her face, hoping she’ll take him back. So freaking smug.
Well, I hope Sam ( once she comes down from the clouds) does something, considering she does suspect her mother is drinking…..habitually.
And, ‘not for nothing’, but Sonny and Carly make me just as sick. He is made to look like the victim? Lordy Lord; what’s next? Sonny turned monk? He shoud be castrated first.
Whatever it is that Nelle has it in her head to do, I hope she succeeds in pulverizing the Corinthoses. Sonny the sacrificial lamb? Sure; that’ll happen when two Sundays come together. Sonny, Ava and Julian always manage to swim back to shore from the deepest, shark-infested waters. But, at least, Ava is something to watch!!
This is why, my Timmmy, I welcome Valentin, regardeless how ruthless he may prove to be. This guy has something sooo appealing, I look forward to his scenes. What’s his real story? So many hints and innuendos steer us in the direction of darkness where Valentin is concerned. Yet, I wonder…….

Did Alexis kill Tom ( got his name, lol)? Is this where the story is going? I cannot believe this. I hope my mind is working overtime….haven’t ‘they’ done enough damage to Alexis?
I believe Franco, with the newly Shakespearean look, when he told Liz he did not kill Tom. So….

Celia, after seeing yesterday’s show, it appears that you are right 🙂 The scene at the end of the show yesterday when Alexis was remembering (in her mind) that Tom was probably about to rape her / abuse her in some way shape and or form… And the fact that this scene happened right after Franco was talking on the phone with somebody at a bar I believe, about Tom being murdered. I think that helped to foreshadow who really did what to Tom. But, now it seems, like Alexis probably had a good enough of a reason to “kill” Tom… She probably thought he was going to do to her, what he did to Elizabeth years ago, and Alexis knows how much trauma she has been through already in her life… and she wanted to avoid the potentially inevitable… so in defense… she probably killed Tom before he could try and get away with what it seemed he wanted to do.

Good “maybe’s” all!

I guess, Connor. But, i don’t think Alexis knows who Tom really is. Does she?
Perhaps, she simply tried to protect herself; and being drunk out of her senses, she remembers foggy bits and pieces.
Another reason could be that Alexis would be shamed…..losing all hopes of regaining her licence, albeit I cannot be so sure that Alexis is that beguilingly cunning.
However, Connor….I am still somewhat befuddled. Would TPTB really do this to Alexis?
What really puts a thorn in my side ( and just as I thought and suggested, along with others), is the fact that Julian will be redeemed. Oh, yeah….he really wasn’t going to slit his wife’s throat. Oh, no, no!! He was only going through the motions which had been predicated by a higher, evil power. The guy with the hands….you know the bejewelled, fingers which slapped the table? Those arms looked to be encased in Louis XVI frothy sleeves??
This is so reminiscent of ‘Newman hands’.
I am assuming Julian will spill all to Sam? And, everyone will hug and kiss and sing ‘Kumbaya’. How sweet! Again, the bad guy gets away with his crimes due to the volatile writing…..Bah!!

Swayze was very good on the show! Why not keep him?
