Easton, Alderson & Howarth Make Their GH Return! Kiki And The Mystery Man Promo Unveiled!

At the end of Monday’s episode of General Hospital, fans finally saw the first sightings of the new roles that will be inhabited by Michael Easton, Roger Howarth and Kristen Alderson!
Some things to take note of: all three characters were first seen in New York City not Port Charles!
SPOILER ALERT: If you do not want to know how they first showed up on screen, do not read any further!
Michael Easton’s character came face-to-face with Sam at the hospital she was searching for Morgan in. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) went to the penthouse apartment that Morgan was presumabably at, and this time found Kristen Alderson with darker hair, the one who answered the door to him! Finally, Roger Howarth’s character appeared backstage in the green room of The Chew, where it appears The Chew hosts and Elizabeth have been poisoned by the Quartermaine condiments! Is Roger Howarth’s (with blonde tinged hair) mystery man behind the poisoning?
In addition, SOAPnet/ABC has released this week’s promo heralding in the character of “Kiki” played by Alderson and that Howarth’s character “will blindside the entire town”. Watch the promo below! ‘General Hospital’s’ Jonathan Bennett Receives 3 ‘Critics Choice Real TV Awards’ Nominations for Hallmark Series, ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’
Many things are coming up roses for Jonathan Bennett! On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Reveals His Plan to Set Up Chase and Willow to Have an Affair
After the Wednesday, April 29 episode of General Hospital, it’s clear outside interference and other circumstances are set to blow Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) marriage sky high, as Michael (Rory Gibson) reveals his plans to entrap Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and use her relationship with Chase to do it!
In story, Michael dropped by unexpectedly to Carly’s (Laura Wright). A plotting Michael reveals his plan to nudge Willow and Chase into having an affair. Michael hopes it would create both a political and personal scandal, where Willow would lose her seat in congress. In the scenario, she would be having an affair with her ex-husband, while taking care of her supposed disabled husband, Drew (Cameron Mathison), who cannot speak and is confined to a wheelchair, which in turn will look horrible for Willow’s character.
Carly asked does he really want to destroy his cousin, Brook Lynn’s life in the process? Michael goes in on Chase’s holier than thou attitude, and says he is going to set-up the circumstances that would lead Chase and Willow to betray their spouses, and hit the sheets together. Michael swears to Carly what the two of them do is up to them, but he’s going to go on the offense with this.
MICHAEL HAS BACK-UP
Later, Jacinda (Paige Herschell) is talking with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) at Crimson and how much she dislikes Willow because of what she has done to Michael. Just then, Michael shows up and tells Jacinda privately, he’s figured out a way to fight Willow. Looks like Jacinda might work with Michael to bring down Willow and use Chase as the person to do it!
At the hospital, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that Carly is cheating on Jack, but he doesn’t know with who. Josslyn suddenly flashes back to the moment she found her mother harboring a fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), in her attic, and as figured out that her mother is sleeping with him. She heads out.

BRENNAN IS ABOUT TO LEARN ABOUT CARLY
Next thing you know, Josslyn has showed up inside Jack’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room at the Metro Court and when he enters his room, he is shocked to find her there. He lays into her for not keeping his distance and that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will have no problem killing her if he knows she’s WSB. Josslyn fires back that he is only concerned about that because his relationship with her mother depends on her being safe. But then, she lays the boom, and tells Jack, Well, you’re too late. You already lost her.”
LULU GETS A GLIMPSE OF CASSIUS’ TEMPER
In addition, Lulu (Alexa Havins) sees a different side of “Nathan.” Since she is unaware that the man before her is his twin, Cassius Fasion (Ryan Paevey), he tells her that Rocco (Finn Carr) blabbed that he shot Cullum to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and now he thinks they should send him away to stop him from talking to everyone else. This concerns Lulu, who rails at Nathan for telling her what to do with her son and that she isn’t going to abandon him. With “Nathan’s” outburst at her on the matter, will she finally get a clue this is not the man she thinks it is?

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT SO FAR. VERY EXCITED ABOUT THEM RETURNING AS DIFFERENT CHARACTERS, IT SHOWS WHAT GREAT ACTORS AND ACTRESS THAT THEY ARE. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT’S IN STORE FOR THEM AND WHAT STORYLINES WILL BE THE BEST OF THE BEST. Totally agree. i saw a photo of Kristen with awesome makeup and interesting clothes and some kind of usual scarf. I thought it was for the character. She looked more different than Starr than she did on the show today. They should have made KA and ME look more diifferent.

I am sure FV and RC will give them both great characters that fit their acting talents, It will be a good 3 weeks, or more before they will fit in.
As for KA, she will be for the first time in her life out of her safety zone of OLTL character Starr..
So, I will give a lot of space to KA to develop and I hope she does well on her first outing as someone other than her life long Starr character, it must be frightening for her, in more than one way.. I will support her..

I’m over it. Too much hoopla about 3 “stars” who we could have gotten along without. Now they’ve sora’d Morgan and lost the 7 year age gap between him and his brother and completely changed his personality so that they can work in Kiki. I’m not happy.
And it’s a little difficult to think of these 3 people as other characters when it’s been very little time since we last saw them and there’s been very little change of appearance.
Totally agree with everything you said. Do not like that Morgan looks almost as old or maybe even the same age as Michael. Agree with what you said about the “new” characters.
I think they should have moved on from the 3 one lifers as well. Its ridiculous to have all of them walking around as new characters at the same time and especially as you said bj, with such a short amount of time that has passed since their departures. It’s hard enough to accept one actor that returns even after a substantial amount of time in a different role than the one they originally portrayed so these three should have been cut loose no question. The money spent on these actors contacts could have served a much better purpose toward bringing back more GH favorites such as Sarah Brownand a long term Vanessa Marcil return. Bring back Stephen Nichols or Rena Sofer. These 3 transplants are a waste of resources especially under the circumstances!
These 3 people are ACTORS!!! I know that I will be able to see them as new characters. Because they all are AMAZING!!! Give them a chance for Pete’s sake!!! And Sam looked beautiful today. I want her beauty supplies, lol.

I will wait to make my decision. But I do miss Michael/Starr, I liked them then she *poof* disappeared with a mysterious phone call, *sigh* poor Michael, can’t keep a girl.
I can’t wait to see all three. I hope their writing gets better now. The writing since the nurses ball has been a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. This show was really jumping for a while but it needs serious help at this point.
OMG YES!! After the nurses ball the writing went totally downhill!! It has been a snoozefest literally i have fallen asleep on it numerous times. I really hope these three give GH a much needed jolt but I dont know i really feel most viewers are sick of all the behind the scenes drama they hear about AND too put all your eggs in one basket like they are doing with these three actors may backfire.
I agree, what on earth has gone on with the writing since the 50th show? Once all my faves left like Jack Wagner, we’re stuck with Pickle Lila, crappy new LULU and this stupid Sabrina/Patrick/Britt mess. Praying for more RH & LW again!! They were awesome together. Hopefully the pickle story is done — btw, who puts relish on crackers?
HAHA “Who puts relish on crackers” is so true! I was watching Anna Devane do it last week at Kelly’s and was like “WTF-maybe it’s a British thing?” Relish in my mind goes on/in three things: hot dogs, hamburgers, and if you’re from the South, tuna fish.
And I agree, the writing and sense of excitement I got from the 50th Anniversary lead-up episodes and The Nurses’ Ball eps has disappeared. I don’t think anything will top Luke & Laura taking off to find Lulu in the helicopter and Anna running around with a walkie talkie!

So maybe Franco never died in the fire. He had all this plastic surgery done…oh yeah! Of course, that story has been done over and over…
He will be Franco, but, he will play the “real Franco” the “Franco” James Franco played will turn out to have been an Imposter, Heather knwoing about it also, will paly into storyline, hence clearing RH return and explaining it somewhat palusibly and KiKi “Lauren” being his daughter also.

Franco is dead, Jason shot him several times close up, even Jason could not miss at that close range, Kiki COULD be a nickname for Lauren Frank, although i always thought Kristen was coming back as an older Serena Baldwin.
I think Roger is Franco also. This is a soap you can be shot in the head at point blank range and one year later come back alive. If stavros cassadine can survive falling into a bottomless pit and live then Roger can be reincarnated into Franco no problem.
It is just a soap, which means Franco could very much be alive. No one ever really dies…

ABC sucks. They should have never messed with our soap opera daytime line-up. I’m not supporting GH anymore either. I only started to watch because I wanted to get what ever I could from missing OLTL. Now that they changed the characters drew ABC.

What would you have ABC do, they wanted to please the fans and return the actors who alot of us really enjoy, but, legally, they could not. Just give it some time, everything else has been GREAT, I think, except for the Vampire storyline and the Pickle Lilia stuff.
It looks good…better than some thought…hope theres no letdown…the show felt a little draggy the last week but to me its picking up again! Best of all the serials!

I totally agree it is the best and has been SO good lately, except the relish storyline.
The relish story was ok at first…but as it dragged on it got boring! But i do love it when Tracy and A.J. continue the tradition of the bickering Qaurtimaines. Now i want Leslie and Monica to go at it!
IMO, and we all know what they say about opinions, GH has way too many actors on their roster, and though they brag and get praise for their veterans being on, how often has Finola Hughes been featured recently? Like all soap writers and exec producers seem to do, Carlavatti and Valentini (spelled incorrectly, I’m sure) fill the screen with new creations they prefer to write for and throw certain characters the occasional bone by featuring them with a newbie. I have no doubt this pair cares for the soap they run, but we could do with a little less Sabrina, a little less relish, a little less former OLTL actors and a lot more Anna, (I NEVER thought I would be saying this) Sonny, and, though it’s too late and who can blame him for leaving, Johnny.
I agree with this. Duke & Anna haven’t even had time to develop at all because they’ve been tossed aside with a romantic moment here & there; not even enough to get into their storyline. I do like Nicholas/AJ/Elizabeth but not the pickle story at all . Any chemistry that Patrick & Sabrina had has suddenly vanished once they “got together” are they really technically together? Doesn’t even seem like it.. I actually miss Sonny too! 🙂
No offense to OLTL fans, but I would be perfectly happy if none of those characters came back, haven’t missed them at all. GH has plenty of characters, too many in fact, with tons of story lines going on. It’s one of the reasons Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) left! It’s going to be really hard to see them and to see them as entirely different people.
I wished they hadn’t gone back too – I’d much rather them be back on OLTL where they belong. Don’t watch GH anyhow – it’s boring and they destroyed the OLTL characters & their history!

Beyond over it. Could care less anymore. Llanview and Pine Valley are back. GH is back to grocery line time waster in a rag mag for me. ABC used these three actors as bait to calm the angered masses and get them over to Port Chuck – I didn’t fall for it. I watched the 50th anniversary and that was all – Starr, Todd and John BELONG in Llanview, regardless of who is playing them. They had no business killing off Cole and Hope – ABC sucks as far as I am concerned.

People trashing this when none of the characters have spoken a word is laughable. Unless you can’t stretch your imagination at all, in which case, how the heck are you a soap fan?
The show has probably had to make several last minute changes when the characters were yanked due to the legal issues, so we got 10x more relish and Britt BS then we probably would have. Now things are going to get back on track and I can’t wait! I’m excited to see how these talented actors will take on this challenge (change of character in a short period). I’m going along for the ride!
Sorry, but the actors who were got in the middle of the ridiculousness of PP and ABC power struggle are the losers here. ABC should give them a release from their contracts so they can go back to OLTL since they can not be the characters we loved on GH. ABC you are truly a crappy network who knows you screwed up by cancelling two great shows in the first !

Howarth is in the opening credits of OLTL.. he’s made some kind of commitment to OLTL past a few weeks. PP doesn’t exactly have the money to re-shoot the opening every few months to account for RH’s absence.

I am looking forward to seeing it all unfold. Kristen A. has been wonderful as Starr, and I miss that character a lot, but she will now get the chance to stretch her wings a bit, and play someone edgier. That’s a good thing for her. As for Roger H. well, he has always been great no matter what the role is. He acts every single second of his characters and I find that really impressive! I think Michael E. will continue an already rich storyline, and the chemistry between he and Kelly Monaco is so much fun! But I do agree with a previous commenter… I wish ABC and Prospect Park would play nice, and not put the fans in the middle. I watch General Hospital because I stand by the actors… all the actors… but ABC Daytime continues to let us down with the shenanigans. General Hospital is the only ABC daytime show I watch!
Didn’t watch GH today because of the Chew. I wish the actors the best but I’m over it. Frank and Ron should be ashamed of themselves promoting The Chew. That did it for me and GH. Thank God OLTL is back!

I hate this. it makes no sence. its almost as bad as the vampire storie line. They could have just changed names, Rob Tanning, etc. Putting the actors in the mix after they were already characters is dumb. Just like the old carly, all of a sudden becoming a new character. and the new AJ who was once the old Jason. its confusing .
Actually they couldn’t just change their names. Legally, they cannot resemble their former characters in any way. And this AJ was not ever the old Jason – you are confused.

Well they lied about Kirsten Alderson she is definitely Lauren and I love the new hair color. John has to fix his hair. I’ll have to get used to the new blonde hair on Todd.
So I guess KA as Lauren hooks up now with Morgan now cuz, Lauren and Michael are cousins right?
That’s what I am trying to figure out, how and if they are going to try and get her and Michael together, or just keep her with Morgan?
wow people say they are over it and in next breath say they will go back to watch OLTl, sorry but Prospect Park caused this problem with the “loaning” of the characters and without stipulating how they can used them caused the problem, people need to stop blaming ABC/Disney for everything, if you think they are the devil and PP is the saviour you are quite naive, ive seen the other online shows and they do NOT compare at all to a show on televison, im glad the three former OLTl crew is back cannot wait to see what happens next, as for all the negativity about GH people need to give it a chance, but it seems its those same folks who are still bitching about the 2 shows back online, seems you cannot please people at all!!!
Actually, PP DID stipulate they were to be consulted on story line and how the characters can be used….which abc/d ignored.
PP are not without flaws in this mess, correct; but I would trust them over abc/d at this point.
I don’t know your standards – but the reboots I have seen online ARE FANTASTIC and do look like some prime time shows.
I still love GH and will support it always. That support extends to OLTL and AMC and all the actors/crew involved. I will support PP because they actually listened to the fans and were able to do what abc/d said they could not. I will only watch GH on abc/d because they lied to and manipulated their own employees and tried to do the same to the fans.
Those 2 shows may be back on line but they are not the same 2 shows. I watched first week and will never watch again. Both AMC and OLTL have been runined and now same is happening on GH.

I´m so excited about having them back. After the 50th anniversary the story telling got kind of lame .
Too much relish, too much Sabrina/Felix plotting, who both became the drama queens of the show.
I really look forward to the new story lines Ron has in store for us. I´m sure Ron will kick major ass and
we´re gonna be surprised over and over again.

Tina and JJ You two haven’t even given them a chance yet, what were you expecting? I think the show has been GREAT, but to each their own, I just think as a viewer, you have’nt even seen them perform or interact really, so you are prejudging what might be great storylines, give it time. I for one and quite a few people I know are EXCITED!

Just finished yesterday’s episode and loved the surprises!!! I am hoping that RH is not Robert Frank “Franco” and that he is a Q… but it is looking like he might be Franco. He is looking great!!! ME doesn’t look so great… but I like that he appears to be a doctor! KA looks better as a blonde but understand they had to do something with her hair to not have her look like Starr. The other big surprise was the gray haired goon going after Connie and Olivia… no spoliers there! Maurice must be happy that he is getting some mob action again. Of course… I would love Brit to live anywhere else but with Patrick. Sabrina should move in too!!!

I’m impatient, lol I just really hope that Kristen is not Lauren Frank her & Chad are too cute together….. but I’m wondering if Rodger is a Jerome and maybe Kristen is his daughter, and Ava Jerome is her Aunt…. that would be interesting…
Theresa… that’s an interesting idea about RH being a Jerome! Not sure he would be at The Chew if he was? If he were a Jerome hew would be fascinating playing against Maurice/Sonny… and the relationship between RH and Laura (if she would be lucky to play with him) and Maurice would be stellar! I was hoping RH would be a Q and be just a bit bad like Q’s are but basically good and he would end up with Carly.
I thought about that too why would he be at the Chew but then I remembered that Tracy had ties to the mob, …. I did read one rumor that said he was going to be Alexander Quartermaine maybe that will end up being true, although, I don’t care who he plays as long as they pair him with Carly(Laura), love them together! 🙂
i heard that RH is the real Franco hence he is Jason’s twin and lauren franks father.. So we will get two new Quatermaine and RH and Ka will still be playing father and daughter.

Frankly my dear I don’t give a d***m. Powers that be have ruined both OLTL and GH by reinventing characters. Have stopped watching OLTL on line and may soon give up on GH as well.

Do not watch .. tune out .. get a hobby.. do not watch, perhaps then you will find happiness .. why make yourself miserable watching something you hate and that upsets you..
Another poster said it first and most likely true…when the legal teams got involved and three characters were not allowed to be used on GH any longer – story lines most likely had to be rewritten and tweaked. I hadn’t thought about that, but that is probably why we have more of the relish, NuLulu and Patrina stories. I will give them the time they need to introduce these new characters and see what these actors can do with them. Happy for the actors. They got the shaft in this whole debacle just like us fans.
I’m very interested to see how the new characters play out. Roger Howarth, Michael Easton and Kristen Alderson are all talented actors, so they will make it work.
It’s not surprising to me that there are people complaining already. There are some people that are never happy, and just live to complain. How about actually giving the new characters a chance before you pass judgment? Just a thought.

I do not want Kristen to be Lauren Frank – for 2 reasons – I think Ellie should be Lauren – just adds more surprise. Second Michael would not be able to have a relationship with her becuase they would both be Quartermaines – no kissing cousins please.

I think she will be Lauren Frank, but, Michael will turn out to be really Sonny’s bio-son and that’s how they will get them together.
again trusting a company that is still new and does NOT have the money Disney does is foolish, PP will lose the court battle and the price will be the 2 shows budgets, I just find it ironic how most are so quick to jumping top the defence of PP and say Disney/ABC should not be trust nor should we watch any shows dusing the day except GH, I for one love The chew, sorry but AMC and OLTL are back the anger so many people still have is pathetic again get over it more then one show has been cancelled this weekend, its the way it is if they do not have an audience they will be cancelled its business!!
The point is that GH/ABC had no right to those characters. They would not have hired Kristen, Michael, or Roger to star on GH if PP wasn’t kind enough to let them “use” their characters. It’s just plain wrong and GH/ABC should give PP whatever they want. GH/ABC is in the wrong and I’m thrilled to have stopped watching the mess they’re making!
