Eden McCoy To Make Her Debut As General Hospital's New Josslyn Jacks!

Courtesy/EMcCoyFacebook
On Wednesday’s upcoming episode of General Hospital, Josslyn will look different! That’s because Eden McCoy has taken over the role of Carly (Laura Wright) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) daughter, Josslyn.
McCoy replaces Hannah Nordberg, who has been working on other outside projects including the Dolly Parton TV bio-pic, Coat of Many Colors.
The young actress posted her excitement on her GH debut on her facebook page within the last 24 hours. Eden stated: “I still can’t believe it but please watch me as Josslyn Jacks in my first episode of General Hospital on ABC Wednesday- very grateful to be a part of this amazing cast and show – much more to come – i love my GH family already!”
So, how will the new Josslyn fit into the Corinthos family drama and GH’s younger set? Share your comments below as we welcome Eden to GH!
well, the aged Josslyn..brought in playmate for TJ and Molly..
I hope the snooze dual don’t go the way of teenagers, teenasgers don’t watch soaps lol and grownups usually don’t like teens upfront.
Ha! I agree — not into Teenage stories. I can handle bits of Spencer but no romances with Emma or tween love affairs for me.
TJ and Molly are in college now, hardly teenagers anymore
First & second year college students are still teenagers.
College students are young adults, high school are teenagers in terms of soap stories; so Joss who is preteen or early teen will not be hanging out with college students which was suoo comments. IYes, technically eighteen and nineteen has the world teen in it, but soaps treat college age characters as adults.
I’ve been watching soaps as a teen and I’m only 25 now. It would depend if teen-centric stories are compellingly relevant the way other soaps have done everywhere else: Boys Over Flowers, Hollyoaks, Neighbours, and so on and so forth.
Congrats on your new job! Good luck and have fun!
Where is Kristina…seen her once and she disappeared…Josslyn will be involved with little Jake who will make a hostile takeover for her Children Of The Corn organization…lol…this show doesnt really do well when writing for children so ill wait and see what they do with her character!
Jimh, hi
hmm ”Children Of The Corn ” , now that would be a fun watch lol. but-
J&S will have kissing, and more kissing after a long conversation.
NO, Children of the corn stuff 🙁 🙁
i was jokingly refering to that…Josslyn used to talk about Children Of The Corn.and once worn a corn costume..lol
Have they sorased Spencer??? surely this older actress won’t be a ten year olds love interest..how creepy
did they age her…in the picture she still looks ten to me..lol
She is now a teen ager as is the actress. .how in earth can they justify this. .Spencer and the portrayer are 10 years old add is emma..
she does look a little older when i watched today…i dont know why they would do that but ive seen some weird casting with no regard to age…on Edge Of Night 40something Nicole was suddenly 20something when they recast…on Days Will was born before his stepdad EJ who suddenly was older…they dont do this on my favorite British soap Coranation Street..their children age normally like in real life, and their stories are more like real life too…wish our soaps were like that.
No aging Spencer! The kid is too talented.
Lol….how exciting, jimh! With their blond tresses and oh-so-light complexion, they do look the part.
oops I just posted about the Children of the Corn before seeing your post Jim! Lol!!
that happens…sometimes when we are writing our comments others might be posting around the same time and not shown yet!
or great minds think alike 🙂
I’m hoping this means her father will be coming back as well!! We need Jasper Jacks back(Ingo)!!!
I don’t know Jax, Robin. But, I’ve heard so much about him, I feel as if I do. I think it would be very appetizing if he did come back to PC and create some sort of devilish stir between Carly and Sonny. I would enjoy eating up that mess. Perhaps Jax will declare his undying love for Carly, sending Sonny into a fit of sputtering, stuttering and lisping galore.
Hey CeeCee ….
what you missed!
Just to make you feel the loss!… lol

@su.
Wow, susu. He went through all that and he’s still alive?
Thanks for the back history. Is he a good guy, now? And, Carly trusts their daughter with him? Not surprised. LOL.
CeeCee,,
that was the good ol’ days !!! GH ROCKED! never a dull moment.
Ingo/Jax was a golden character!
and the most handsome man on GH .. check his facebook 🙂
What about the kid romance with Josslyn and Cameron? Is he being aged as well? But then again, Spencer would definitely go for an older girl 😉
Is she and we now supposed to believe she babysits spencer and cameron and emma…oh the inhumanity…lol
They should’ve saved her for the Spencer/Emma age group. Total mistake in casting/aging this character.
They didn’t age her enough, she looks to be around 13,still to young to hang out with Molly and TJ.
It’s ridiculous considering that little Jake’s supposed death helped to save a younger Josslyn. This was even talked about a couple months back when little Jake came back. So now they have to go and f*** that up.
Here’s an idea…bring back Monica and have her file a civil lawsuit against Sonny for him being responsible for A.J.’s death. I’d like to see her go after him financially in every way possible and allow the courts to go through all of his business dealings. That would at least be a start to dismantling his little empire. After all, Monica has lost the most (Alan, Emily, AJ, Jason) due to Sonny’s association with the mob. It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out what could make a good story and it doesn’t have to resort to soras’ing a bunch of kids.
Good point about Jake’s supposed death helping to save Josslyn. If not him, who and why?
Love the idea of Monica filing a suit against Sonny. Who would be her lawyer…Alexis or Diane? She’d probably have to find another lawyer with no conflict of interests…maybe..since this is a soap. I guess her Judge boyfriend wouldn’t be able to sit on the bench to hear this case, but he could provide great legal advice during pillow talk.
That works for me, Liam.
Why do the fans have to do all the work? The writers could come up with these ideas on their own. LOL.
Monica suing Sonny is actually a wonderful idea and would bring back the heart of this show. The Sonny propping for this little weasel is so awful and not interesting. Time to make a man out of Sonny once and for all! I love your idea!
That’s a great idea Liam. Monica needs justice in some way, so hitting him in the pocket will suffice, until someone kills him.
IF, Monica filing a suit against Sonny all the skeletons would come out of the closet.
AJ, was bad person. He shot his father in the back lol
And– AJ was choking Ava with intent to kill her!
Sonny had a bipolar moment, and AJ choking/strangling Ava was not cool lol ..
remember; we knew AJ did not kill Connie, Sonny did not know, he was told AJ killed Connie/Kelly.. yah Sonny lost it taking care of business on man who how killed his love his wife to be..
Ava, AJ and Sonny are even up, all are killers.. killers killing killers- even up!
Good idea, Liam. This might get me watching GH again. This is week six without watching GH.
So far we’ve seen more than a little rebellion and independence from Josslyn, and not much parenting on Carly’s part. So if Jax didn’t work wonders with her during the summer (and he wasn’t successful with Carly in the past), she just might give Morgan a run for his money in acting out. Wish they would bring Jax back. He could help the Q’s take back ELQ from Nik.
I’m glad they recast the role. No offense to Hannah, but I couldn’t stand the 2014-2015 Josslyn. She used to be so nice to Franco and he was trying his best to be the best role model to her and all she wanted to do was to get rid of him just because he had a brian tumor that made him do horrible acts, acts he now regrets. I reallly hope they decide to redemm the character with this new Josslyn.
Well, seeing that HN’s Joss was my favorite kiddo on this show, I’m none too thrilled….she just had that perfect “Bad Seed” attitude down pat…I guess with spooky “Little Jake” back, her prickly, persnickety personality was no longer as essential. Still, the fact that Joss is Carly’s offspring will mean that she’ll never be a proper miss, rather a real handful no matter the actress portraying her.
Ugh, Nice to have her; afraid of the Age Progression!!
I hope They remember that WE Remember!!
J.S.
With the age progression, what group is she supposed to fit in with? She’s too young for TJ/Molly and too old for Spencer/Cam/Emma. I don’t see much of a s/l for this character.
They are going to need to make Cam the same age IMO. Isn’t Joss the same age as Little Jake though? Oh they kinda messed up by bringing him back on the show.
I dont know if she can act or not BUT she could sure pass for Carly and Jax’s daughter! Good luck honey.
At least this one doesn’t look like she crawled out from Children of the Corn. Last two Josselyn’s were creeeeeepy!!!
I just hope this girl isn’t taller than the other kids. The former Joss was so tall she looked like a pre-teen standing next to Emma and Spencer. This girl is cuter, and you need that for a serious rival for Emma.
So now Joss is older than Cam,Emma,Jake and Spencer, but still younger than Molly and TJ?
1. she’s a cutie patootie ??? !!!! when you look at her…. (eyes)
“don’t” you just see Ingo Rademacher ? ! ? !
like Lauren Boles : ex- Ciara Alice Brady, Days
like Hanna Nordberg : ex-Josslyn Jacks, GH
my two little 1/2 pints… I just adored these fiesty minds of their own… gals
if you ask me… watching Hanna Nordberg… as a younger version of Carly is…now was
i wish this nuJosslyn all the best
People need to stop bashing the teen scene.
Teen cast in the background set up the show for 15 years for the future. If we didn’t have a teen scene in the past there would be NO show right now. Think about it all the current front burners are from the teen scen 15 to 20 years ago Nik, , Liz and Jason. Dillion Maxie and luLu. And going way back it was a teen love triangles that saved the show Scotty, like and Laura. Now I get that u don’t want them front and center all the time but we do need to build then up some what so you can care for them in the future imagine if they never show Robin as a kid and all the sudden they had a character show up playing her would you care as much about her without seeing her grow up on the show?
Just watched today’s episode & you ROCKED your scene with Nina!!
Josslyn!!!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
