Elisabeth Hasselbeck Says Farewell To THE VIEW On Her Final Episode – Watch the Segment!

Courtesy/ABC
Today was the final episode and appearance of a ten year run as co-host on ABC’s The View for Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
On Tuesday it was announced that Hasselbeck was leaving for a new job on the early morning show Fox & Friends. For the final time, Elisabeth sat at The View table with Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, where she eloquently, and at times teary-eyed, delivered her farewell speech to each of her co-hosts, and The View’s executive producer, Bill Geddie.
Hasselbeck’s departure ends years of heated political debates between she and Behar and Goldberg, since her Republican viewpoints were a counterpoint to the other ladies on the panel, more often than not.
After the jump watch Hasselbeck addressing the cameras and the ladies of The View as she moves on with her career! Then let us know if you are glad Elisabeth is exiting the show? Did you think, like her or not, that her goodbye was well said? Share your thoughts!
Elisabeth’s speech was okay, heartfelt depending whom she was talking about. Wish her well but did not like her approach and temper with co-hosts. I will not follow her to the fox program.
And does she care?
Fox is a tabloid channel, yeah who cares
GOD I AM SO HAPPY TO FINALLY BE RID OF ELIZABETH! HER BIG MOUTH AND HER RACIST REMARKS AND SO CLOSED MINDED! NOW THE TALK NEEDS TO CAN THAT JULIE AND THAT IDIOT SHERYL.
I NEVER liked Elizthabeth I stopped watching because of her. But I really am so sorry to see Joy leave. I LOVE JOY B <3
I wish Elizabeth well. I don’t watch The View much but from what I’ve seen when I watch she”s not the bitch the so called tolerant liberals make her out to be. I respect anyone who stands up for what they believe in even if it doesn’t seem popular or if they’re hated for it. The haters think by insulting Elizabeth they’re hurting her but they’re probably making her stronger.
Well said ron and ITA!
Nicely said Ron, I don’t watch the View either but I know how the left would Attack Elizabeth all the time, they are haters because she had a different opinion.
‘haters” is bandied about plenty.
dignity is a valuable trait.
A human characteristic we should all aspire.
With her gone, maybe I’ll start watching again. Although, I have gotten along very nicely without the show for all these years.
me too
Don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!
I don’t hate Hasselbeck for her beliefs, I hate her for her embrace of ignorance and intolerance over education and acceptance.
Gosh almighty get a life she is not what is bringing down this country so I guess if everyone does not believe your way of thinking we are homophobics racist you name it does she speak for me no I do it myself get off her back the hackling hens continue! She is not what I would want for the conservative voice just because you have a difference of opinion does not make you the bad guy! I guess if everyone was standing on the cliff and saying jump and you did not we are the bad guys. I have a personal relationship with my God and that is between me and him I judge no one and he did not!
People don‘t get much more ignorant or intolerant than Joy Behar. Why is Joy‘s narrow=minded behaviour called “tolerance“ and acceptance, when if you don‘t agree with her opinion, it is called “intolerance“ and “ignorance? People can‘t have it both ways. You can only call Joy tolerant and accepting if you happen to share her opinions on the filth that she tolerates and accepts. It‘s a double edged sword, and a hypocritical one at that.
Is behar still on whatever low rated cable news channel her show was on? Dumb move by the view bec elisabeth was that show. And she really had to put up w/ being the only conservative against a panel of all democrats. Ratings of the view would probably plummet w/ babs retiring and elisabeth moving to highest rated cable news channel fox. This is a dumb move by the view to let elisabeth leave and it’ll probably launch the era of the talk and new show the real. Rumors have elisabeth being replaced by jenny mccarthy of all people! The talk and the real have much more racial diversity compared to the view. The real is obviously going to tackle a lot of issues for women of color bec its panel has African americans and a hispanic american and an Asian american for its hosts. While the talk recently discussed all the racism directed at African americans and Asian americans from cbs summer reality tv show. It’s great that julie chen is speaking abt racism towards Asian americans w/c seldom is discussed by the tolerant media bec Asian american issues are never a priority. It’s too bad though that julie chen is the only Asian american on all of cbs day shows. The view would probably decline w/o elisabeth. It’s probably the era of the real and the talk.
Good riddance.
Yes and did you judge Alec Baldwin for his rant?
Nicely said K/KAY, I agree
Meh……I really don’t care. She can join the rest of the “twisted wisdom” teabaggers at Fox.
Like nails on a chalkboard….so are the days of Fox news.
Elizabeth Hasselbeck was a coffin nail for the view..
I hope she runs, not walks, to the exit door ..
I think that whether or not the lefties want to admit it or not, having Elizabeth there brought balance to the show. The rest of the cast were nothing but a bunch of old biddie bullies who were just as intolerant and hateful as those on this board claimed Elizabeth was.
I agree with you Jeff, Elizabeth was not the hateful one on the view, the others were, She did bring balance to the show but most lefties can’t deal with hearing what the other side has to say and feel, so instead of having a adult conversation they attack you because they THINK they are right instead of trying to understand what the other side is saying, and listening to both sides of the issue and respecting each other instead of going after you like a bully in a school playground.
Totally agree Jeff!! Joy Behar is nothing but a vicious, disgusting bully. If you disagree with her in any way, she attacks. She is open to no other viewpoint. Joy should stop worrying so much about the “epidemic“ of teen bullying and take a good long hard look in the mirror and her own behaviour. Joy is the hateful, narrow-minded bigot, not Elisabeth!
I am sooooooooo happy for Elizabeth!!! She will do great and it is the best move for her!!!
I agree!
About time.
All things, good or bad, come to an end. Buh-bye.
ugghhh….
can’t you just feel the intelligence quotient rising….
shiver me timbers….
hang in their Whooppie…. Love to Joy.
She was a first time reality star who was in the right place at the right time…
Ms. Babblehead.. with no mind.
Class, beauty and intelligence scares people. Happy for Elizabeth she is better than the View!
I agree, She is better then the view.
the view has run its course. Abc has ruined there daytime line up. cbs has the best balance something for everyone.
HIGH 5 Rosie.
i totally disagree with Elisabeth political point of view yet i still liked her , i may watch her on her new fox show, and wish her nothing but the best.
I really like Elisabeth and I’ll miss her on The View. I’ve actually been a fan of her since way back when she was on Survivor. That was an emotional goodbye. As a newlywed in my early 30s who’s about to become a mom, I appreciated seeing a panelist close in age and family situation to myself. I’m glad her voice was allowed to be heard on the show and could relate to her viewpoints. While I didn’t always agree with everything, I admire her for sticking to her beliefs and having the courage to publicly do that. There were some very entertaining debates. Plus, she’s very beautiful and I admire (and envy!) how she’s been able to stay in such terrific shape, especially after having kids and working full time. I love her wardrobe and sense of style! I wish Elisabeth the very best as she moves on to Fox News.
I definitely have respect for Elizabeth in that she always stood up for what she believed. Wish her well. But I will not miss her.
Who the hell cares???
Good riddance to bad rubbish!!
Good riddance indeed! I’m sure Fox can revel in her unworldly, narrow point of view. The beauty is she WAS fired — nine seasons too late if you ask me — but, like Star Jones (who beautifully thumbed her nose at the offer) was offered to work until the end of her contract cycle and put her own p.r. spin on her “departure.” I guess between her firing and the end of her contract, Fox picked up her carcas. I especially won’t miss that distressed look she got on her pinched face when she found something disagreeable or offensive. Maybe now, I can truly take time to enjoy The View!
I wish Elizabeth luck in her new venture and hope that she can continue her career with class and dignity that she has shown so far….
I must admit that I will not miss Elisabeth on The View. I found her to be very rude, always looking for attention. I stopped watching the show for a few years because of her attitude. Now ,if you could just keep Sherry from also interuputing everyone, I am sure that I will enjoy the show. I will be Joy very, very much.
I see there are WAY TOO MANY right wing conservative types on this site. You wouldn’t think soaps would attract that particular crowd!! BTW I’m glad I live in Canada. Your country is in danger of being ripped apart by the constant battle of liberals vs. right-wing conservatives. Can’t y’all just get along:)
BTW, let the hate responses begin LOL
Never have liked any of the ladies on The View, but Hasselbeck was the LEAST offensive to me. I’ll bet she’s glad to get the heck outta there.
I am glad she is leaving. Too often, she was forced to compromise her beliefs for the sake of her job. Often times, it was almost like she was apologiziing for being pro-marriage, pro-family, and pro-life. I don‘t support slaughtering children either. She should have a place where her belief in truth is respected. I hope in her new forum she can speak candidly about her convictions. She will no longer have to be bullied and belittled by Joy and arrogantly dismissed by Barbara. I wish her all the best in her new job!

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Plan to “Spill the Tea” on Launch of Their Podcast ‘Amy & T.J.’

December 5th will be, and was, a memorable date in the careers of the controversial pairing of former ABC news anchors and GMA3 co-hosts, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes.
The duo will officially launch their iHeartPodcast Amy and T.J tomorrow on Tuesday. The series is hosted and executive produced by the couple, who last night stepped out for the first time together at the iHeart 2023 Jingle Ball.
Their outing was quite the strategic one, right before the premiere of their new show where in the teaser released by iHeartPodcasts, they play up the scandal of it all.

Making the drop date of Amy and T.J. all the more salacious is that one-year ago on December 5th, 2022 Robach and Holmes were removed from their hosting duties on GMA3: What You Need to Know.
Promoting their new podcast, the couple shared in a promotional photo: “Why yes, we be serving tea… One week from today, ‘Amy & T. J.'”

According to the press release on their new audio venture, Amy and T.J. will use their decades of experience delivering headline news and captivating viewers nationwide as they get behind the microphone to explore meaningful conversations about current events, pop culture, and everything in between where “nothing is off limits.”
The two anchors intimate relationship first became public knowledge when photos of the two together holding hands surfaced back in November of 2022. Both were presumably married to their spouses at the time. Holmes to Marilee Fiebeg, and Robach to former Melrose Place star, Andrew Shue.
Take a listen below to the intro teaser for Amy and T.J. Then let us know, what do you think about how they are working the scandal that got them ousted from ABC? Winsor Harmon Hopes Audience Reaction Will Prompt B&B’s Brad Bell: “To Start Writing for Thorne Again”

On tomorrow’s December 5th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Winsor Harmon makes a return as Thorne Forrester, as Eric (John McCook) is set to throw a major Forrester family party since he plans on saying goodbye to his loved ones as he was given only a few months to live.
The last time Harmon visited the CBS daytime drama series was back in 2022 during a dream sequence of Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang). Harmon has appeared on and off the series since from 1996- 2016. For a short run, Ingo Rademacher took over the role from late 2017- to early 2019.
Joining Harmon during his return will be another B&B favorite, Ashley Jones who reprises her role as Bridget Forrester beginning on the December 6th episode of the soap opera.

Photo: JPI
Speaking with SOD on his latest comeback to BOLD, Harmon expressed his hope’s that out of his appearances will come a potential new story for Thorne down the line.
Winsor shared, “We’ll see how the audience reacts and I think things will start popping in Brad’s (Bell, executive producer/head writer) head and he’ll start writing for Thorne again.”

Photo: JPI
In terms of what Harmon was told when the series offered him to make a comeback for some upcoming episodes, the actor revealed, “They didn’t tell me anything.” So, apparently Winsor was in the dark when he said “yes” as to just what the story would be.
Coming up, look for some emotional moments for the Forrester family, as some people know of Eric’s condition, while other’s in the family do not.
So, do you hope that Brad Bell decides to write future story for Thorne Forrester and bring back into the canvas for a longer run as played by Winsor Harmon? Comment below.
