Last week, the iconic star of The Young and the Restless, Eric Braeden’s (Victor Newman) new memoir, “I’ll Be Damned” was released nationwide.
In “I’ll Be Damned: How My Young and Restless Life Led Me To America’s #1 Daytime Drama“, the actor recounts his journey from a hospital basement in Kiel to the soundstages in Los Angeles, and creating one of the most memorable and most recognized roles in all of television.
In his memoir, Eric touches on his life with his longtime supportive wife, Dale and the pride of his life, his son Christian, and his learned respect for the medium of the soap opera.
In addition, Eric reflects on his castmates, his love of staying fit, sports, and growing up in war-torn Germany, and the impact of the unspeakable atrocities of Adolf Hitler.
Throughout the book, Braeden share how he learned about privilege and poverty, and how it deeply affected and shaped his life. As for his incredible castmates including: Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Christian LeBlanc (Michael), Doug Davidson (Paul), Kristoff St. John (Neil,) and others, Braeden cites moments through the years with his fellow thespians that many may have never known.

I have been beaten in the answer department but just wanted to comment that I am interested in reading his memoir. Eric has led a very interesting life and has an interesting perspective because of it.
I will purchase this book—hope it does well.
