Not into them at all.
No build-up to their relationship,
much less a marriage! So nothing
invested.
But are they cute? Sure.

I am not against this pairing—just wished they took a bit more time to launched it, like they did when Traci developed a thing for the “pool boy” Brad— he just gradually wormed his way into the family— But I get soaps today either rushed through elements that should be slower and go a snail pace on elements that should be faster. Everyone needs a serious refresher course on proper pacing— but other than the rushed romance— this is your typical rich girl marries the boy from the wrong side of the tracks—- this will no doubt be one of… Read more »

The Y&R writers have got to be kidding with this pairing — the wedding took longer than their entire on-screen “courtship.”

I think Austin is in Fenmore’s spot if he were around more.

I like this pairing. I was watching Y&R and trying to figure out what is not working. Some of it is the writing but a lot of the problem is chemistry. There has been so many changes in actors that the chemistry has been lost. The perfect example to me is Dylan and Avery. They say the words but the body movements and expressions are not working. There is just no chemistry there. Chemistry is starting to form between Jack and Kelly. Jill and Tristan (can’t remember his screen name) are really cute together. Austin and Summer are working for… Read more »

Two talented young actors with good chemistry. Y&R will screw up their characters as they have just about everyone on the show.

Summer is a prime example of hormone-induced stupidity. Estrogen is doing a Niagra Falls on her. Someone needs to put the brakes on this independent little drama queen and do it soon. Isn’t it about time for Phyllis to wake up and give her daughter something to think about?

I like this couple, as far as it being rushed , well I think that is the point. I think she will come to regret her decision about rushing into this.

Summer and Austin are a downer..
They are not hio and sex, they are not entertaining, they don’t do anything but bore me..

I don’t like them at all. Ever since we lost Michael Muhney as Adam I push mute when she comes on. Even before all the drama she is not paired well for Nick & Phyllis’s daughter. She can’t act and always looks like she’s pouting. Boring as hell !

GH’s Charles Shaughnessy On Victor’s Villainy: “He’s Just Making Trouble for All of the Fan Favorites! He’s Just Making Their Lives Miserable”

In pretty short order, Victor Cassadine’s re-emergence in Port Charles, and now played by daytime vet, Charles Shaughnessy, has caused plenty of havoc on ABC’s General Hospital.  Shaughnessy, who was much beloved as Shane Donovan on Days of our Lives, debuted on GH back in September of 2021.

You can look at the body count, or the people Victor has under his thumb, to know the impact he is making on the canvas.

In a new interview in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest (on newsstand now), Shaughnessy weighs-in on being the treacherous Cassadine.

Charles shared: “I mean, he’s just making trouble for all of the fan favorites! He’s just making their lives miserable.  He’s the guy who killed Luke Spencer.  He’s the guy who put Anna in jail and tried to break up her relationship with Valentin.  He’s just miserable to Holly. He’s just dreadful! But it’s such great fun, I mean, the more dreadful the better, really. He’s the villain you love to hate.”

So, how and just when Victor will get his comeuppance is on everyone’s mind in the viewing audience as well as for characters such as: Laura (Genie Francis), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), Lucy (Lynn Herring), Holly (Emma Samms), Anna (Finola Hughes), Ava (Maura West), Selina (Lydia Look), and many more.

Victor’s evil deeds seemed to reach new heights during the Holly Sutton storyline. Now the question is, who will he go after next, given what would seem to be his quest for the necklace containing diamonds from the Ice Princess?  Stay tuned.

What do you think of Charles’ portrayal of Victor? Who do you hope takes down Victor? Comment below.
