NASHVILLE's Hayden Panettiere's Real-Life Pregnancy To Be Written Into The Series? If So, Baby Daddy Drama Ahead!

ABC Nashville fans know that at the end of  last season, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) had “angry sex” with Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson) the manipulative record executive, and she was beginning to reconcile with her then boyfriend, Avery (Jonathan Jackson), who she became infuriated with when he was spending time helping his ex, Scarlett (Claire Bowen) recover from her nervous breakdown!

Now comes word via TV Line that in lieu of series star Hayden Panettiere’s real-life, although unconfirmed pregnancy, and given these two plot points above ,it just may be that Juliette will be preggars when Nashville returns in September, and she won’t know who the baby daddy is!

So if the plot point does happen, do you hope the little bundle of joy’s is Avery’s or Jeff’s?  Or, do you wish that the pregnancy not be written into the story, in which if reports that Panettiere is pregnant are true, that show spends episodes covering it up having Juliette in shots hiding behind plants and things?  Let us know!

Hmmmm…that’s a toughie.

On the one hand I’d like them to conceal her real life pregnancy and let the story unfold as it would have…leaving her character open to finding her way back to Avery unencumbered.

And on the other hand, could be interesting if it was Avery’s…since he seems torn between her and Charlotte (who implied she was leaving Nashville but I’m hoping that’s not the case and she and Gunnar get back together).

Verrrrry interesting if it’s Jeff’s. I LOVE Oliver Hudson but oh-so hate his character…But yet I see great dramatic possibilities with this scenario.

Nashville would be much better if there were only one song per episode ..

the music/songs suck lol ..
maybe it’s good for country western fans, but us normal people don’t get into that whalin’ ..

((ohh my dog died and wife she left with my flannel shirt a chevy truck I cry with the whippoorwills tonight i will drink til I die- crap is too lame haahaa)

Hope it’s Avery’s and writing it into the story is fine.

It’s “in light of” her pregnancy, not in lieu of.

A baby may shake Juliette into reality (but I hope not). Love the music but hope the show delves more into the drama come Season 3. we’ve faded out Rayna and Tandy’s father and that side of the plotscape. Would like to see Teddy fade, too. I want more nuanced storytelling and a little more time devoted to twists and turns. Things happen too quickly or nothing happens. I’d like more suspense. This baby story may give us some of that though science ruins that with the quick blood test. We’ll see in September, yes?

meant Scarlett…not Charlotte!

General Hospital

WATCH: Jonathan Jackson + Enation’s New Music Video “The Days Are Evil”

Five-time Daytime Emmy winner from General Hospital, and former Nashville star, Jonathan Jackson (Ex-Lucky, Ex-Avery) has released a new music video for the new single “The Days Are Evil” along with his band Enation.

The music video features shots of Jackson in a very dark incarnation, and the track will also appear on Jackson + Enation’s upcoming album due out later this fall, Ultraviolet Empire.

Jonathan says of the new album: “Our new album, Ultraviolet Empire, is a throwback record. It’s a record we played together live in the studio. Most of the songs are one take -just letting the band play.  It was amazing playing with our co-producer Colin Linden and capturing something so raw and visceral.”

This will be the band’s follow-up to their 2017 album  Anthems for the Apocalypse and their successful 2018 tour in Europe opening for Echo & The Bunnymen,

Check out the music video featuring Jonathan released this week below.

Then, let us know, should Lucky return to Port Charles for the Nurses’ Ball with his band and play a tune off the new album next spring? Will Jonathan come home to GH for a guest appearance? Will you be checking out the new music from him in the coming months? Comment below.

NASHVILLE To Become Broadway Musical

Looks like the Music City drama, Nashville, originally on ABC and then on CMT, has more than nine lives! Now the popular soap is headed to the stage and Broadway after six seasons on the small screen.

The show is set to have a musical adaptation with 10-time Tony Award winner Scott Delman (American IdiotRagtimeBook of MormonHello, Dolly!Fun HomeMean Girls) in charge.  In addition, Delman will serve as lead producer of the show and he has acquired the live theatrical rights from Lionsgate and ABC Studios.

Nashville, with its complex, relatable characters and sweeping emotional gestures, has all of the narrative elements that I look for in great theatrical source material,” Delman said in a statement. “From that rich DNA, we will be building an original story with entirely original music, written by major Nashville and Broadway songwriters.  We are particularly excited to deliver Broadway’s first score of true contemporary country music — a genre that has exploded with mainstream audiences in recent years. Lionsgate has a treasure-trove of sterling IP, and I’m honored to be a part of this new phase of their live entertainment division.”

Additional information on the upcoming musical, including production dates and a creative team, is expected to be announced shortly.  Now the question becomes; will some of its beloved series stars be in the Broadway rendition of the series?
