How sad. And he looked rough in that mugshot on TMZ.

I am very sorry to hear this. Sending him nothing but positive energy.

That is sad. He is so talented. Hopefully, this will be a bottom for him.

Oh please get help, Tyler. Your fans love you. But more important, you have two kids that do. If you don’t want to do it for yourself, then do it for them.

is this the reason why GH didn’t re-sign him ? Hope he overcomes this and returns to our screens.

So sad. Guess this explains why he’s not on GH.

You don’t get put into the drunk tank unless you are doing something stupid. Cops usually have better things to do. Hopefully, he just had one too many celebrating his birthday and whatever he did to get the attention of the cops was harmless. When I first read the headline I was expecting a DUI, so whatever he did, at least it wasn’t behind the wheel of a car. A night in jail sleeping it off, probably protected him as much as it did everyone else.

Tyler is one of a million or millions that have a problem with alcohol.
It’s not nor should it be news; ..
It’s fodder for the social network, nothing to help the situation only to heighten it.
Money, big money is made from a story of someones personal problems..
I assume a good many were also arrested that night for much the same thing.

Hopefully some of his friends in the industry will reach out he has a disease needs support not gossip! Yes we can always count on good old TMZ they are indeed ambulance chasers for dirty laundry aren’t they??

So he went out & got lit on his birthday so what? Did he attack someone? Drive drunk? Innocent until proven guilty. ALWAYS!

I’m sure they gave him a breathalyzer test.

It just reads he was arrested for “public intoxication” noT DUI or DWI though right?

He has substance abuse issues; he’s made that public and has been struggling with alcohol since his teens. He’s in a dark place, has lost both jobs on DAYS and GH and is obviously still struggling.

Shut up! Police dont arrest someone just for the fun of it! Pray for the actor!

Very sad and a shame to see what’s happened to Tyler. I have several friends and family members that have battled alcoholism, some battled it successfully, another lost their life because of it. It’s an awful, awful disease, and that’s exactly what it is, a disease. I sincerely hope Tyler is able to get the help he very clearly and desperately needs.

”The docs say police have received 9 calls regarding Christopher being intoxicated since September 14, and medical personnel advised law enforcement there was nothing more they could do for him … they’d already tried to help him.”.

Iam sure losing his job on Days and receiving divorce papers while in jail didn’t help his condition. Poor guy, I hope he has someone, be it friends or family in his corner. It would be nice to have someone like Maggie in real life.

He obviously has a big problem, if was put in jail for drinking. Most people that have a drink or two, are not arrested. It seems he was in an Uber/taxi, and he urinated in the back seat. Was yelling at the driver also. His wife is not divorcing him, for having a drink on his birthday. She has probably had enough of him coming home drunk. That’s the sad part about this. His life is falling apart. He was let go from days, because he was intoxicated on set. Gh did not ask him back, and yet he keeps on drinking. He is so very talented, yet his life is falling apart, right in front of him, and he refuses help. What will take, for him to open his eyes, and realize, he needs to make huge changes in his life, before it’s too late? I hope he will one day, see what everyone else see’s, and gets the help he needs

That poor guy is always being arrested for drinking, He has some issues that need to be resolved. God help him face his reality.

EMPIRE’s Final Season Cut Short Due To COVID-19; Series Finale Now Set For April 21

Will we now ever know just how the lives of Empire’s Lucious  (Terrence Howard) and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) and their dysfunctional family will resolve now that the series has had to scrap two of their planned episodes in their final season?  The sixth and final season was scheduled to run for a total of 20 episodes.

Reports also note that episode 19 was partially shot and that footage of that unfinished episode will be cut into the finale.

As to what happens with the character of Jamal Lyon played by Jussie Smollett, who everyone knows ran into significant trouble with the law; on last reports executives said he would not be back for the final episodes of the series, although there has still have been mentions of the character throughout season 6.

May Flights of Angels Wing You to Your Rest my Dear Friend. Your bigger than life, gregarious personality will leave a hole in our hearts forever. We are devastated-My great friend, co parent partner, and loving father to Kaya. That big belly laugh, bear hugs, bad puns, ability to harmonize to any song, great kitchen table singing-fests, and two steppin bad ass! “Johnny Numbers”, my All My Children soap stud, the great time keeper, Beatles fanatic ( I wish to God we could go back to “Yesterday”)… Kaya and I are beyond broken hearted, so stunned, sorry that my thoughts are a mess. You gave the best most beautifully written tributes, and I am at a complete loss for words right now for you. I hope Heaven has baseball and that your team always wins! 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Ceremonies Canceled Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

There won’t be any “And the Enmy goes to _” come this June, where NATAS had originally scheduled three nights of award presentations honoring the best in daytime programming at the 47th Annual Daytime Emmys.   The three-day event was slated for June 12-14th, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena. California.  Deadline broke the story of the decision to postpone daytime’s biggest night, for now.

NATAS president and CEO Adam Sharp said of today’s decision: “These were extremely difficult decisions to make, but at the end of the day the health and safety of our event attendees and staff must remain our paramount concern,” NATAS president and CEO Adam Sharp said of today’s decision. “We are closely monitoring public heath authorities’ guidance, seeking feedback from our awards communities, and evaluating the flexibility of our venue and production partners as we plan for the future in this unprecedented context.”

NATAS chairman Terry O’Reilly said on the change” “Given our concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided that we will not be staging the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Pasadena this coming June.  As there are so many unknowns right now with the flow of information changing on a daily, almost hourly, basis, it would simply be irresponsible to move forward with our annual celebration of excellence in daytime television at this time.”
