General Hospital 50th Returns: Who's Staying and Who's Going?

With all the major returns for General Hospital’s 50th anniversary celebration and with the Nurses’ Ball now concluded, fans of the show are wondering, which fan favorites are staying on the canvas and which are heading out of Port Charles?
In a new interview with TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan, General Hospital head writer, Ron Carlivati fills us in on the status of Genie Francis and Kin Shriner (they are staying put), Lynn Herring (looks like she is going to be around for awhile), Jack Wagner (looks like he is gone for now), Jackie Zeman (she will be heading out shortly), Vanessa Marcil and Ingo Rademacher (Vanessa has some more story yet to play in her arc, Ingo is on DWTS), and what about John Stamos? Here are just a few excerpts from the piece to give you a little more detail!
Carlivati on Genie Francis and Kin Shriner and Scott/Laura/Luke: “There’s still a lot of story to tell with Genie and Kin. When this latest Luke and Laura adventure comes to a conclusion and they’re back home in Port Charles, we’ll explore whether or not Laura still wants to marry Scotty. Is she now more bonded with Luke because of what happened on the island? We’ll keep that triangle very much alive for a while but it will be resolved. And even after that there’s still much to play out with Laura and Scotty. I don’t see either one leaving us anytime soon.”
Carlivati on Vanessa Marcil becoming uber-bitch in regards to Carly etc: “Vanessa will remain with us at least through the resolution of this arc. I have a real soft spot for that character, even when she’s gone too far. She’s needy and broken and she loves Sonny so deeply that it drives everything she does. She can’t help herself. I think she absolutely truly did love Jax but she was hoping Sonny would say, “Call it off! Stay with me!” Deep down, that’s what she wants, so we’ll see where that takes us”
Carlivati on trying to work out something for John Stamos to return as Blackie Parrish: “We tried to write in a cameo that had him in one episode of the ball, but it was never as simple as just having him play the drums. John said he wanted to do something more, something where he could really act, so I came up with an arc that had his character, Blackie, getting out of Pentonville Prison and having to adjust to life on the outside. But, at that point, John seemed to be committed to a lot of other projects so it’s dead, at least for now. But I still have hope it will happen.”

‘General Hospital’s’ Jonathan Bennett Receives 3 ‘Critics Choice Real TV Awards’ Nominations for Hallmark Series, ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’
Many things are coming up roses for Jonathan Bennett! On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Reveals His Plan to Set Up Chase and Willow to Have an Affair
After the Wednesday, April 29 episode of General Hospital, it’s clear outside interference and other circumstances are set to blow Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) marriage sky high, as Michael (Rory Gibson) reveals his plans to entrap Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and use her relationship with Chase to do it!
In story, Michael dropped by unexpectedly to Carly’s (Laura Wright). A plotting Michael reveals his plan to nudge Willow and Chase into having an affair. Michael hopes it would create both a political and personal scandal, where Willow would lose her seat in congress. In the scenario, she would be having an affair with her ex-husband, while taking care of her supposed disabled husband, Drew (Cameron Mathison), who cannot speak and is confined to a wheelchair, which in turn will look horrible for Willow’s character.
Carly asked does he really want to destroy his cousin, Brook Lynn’s life in the process? Michael goes in on Chase’s holier than thou attitude, and says he is going to set-up the circumstances that would lead Chase and Willow to betray their spouses, and hit the sheets together. Michael swears to Carly what the two of them do is up to them, but he’s going to go on the offense with this.
MICHAEL HAS BACK-UP
Later, Jacinda (Paige Herschell) is talking with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) at Crimson and how much she dislikes Willow because of what she has done to Michael. Just then, Michael shows up and tells Jacinda privately, he’s figured out a way to fight Willow. Looks like Jacinda might work with Michael to bring down Willow and use Chase as the person to do it!
At the hospital, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that Carly is cheating on Jack, but he doesn’t know with who. Josslyn suddenly flashes back to the moment she found her mother harboring a fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), in her attic, and as figured out that her mother is sleeping with him. She heads out.

BRENNAN IS ABOUT TO LEARN ABOUT CARLY
Next thing you know, Josslyn has showed up inside Jack’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room at the Metro Court and when he enters his room, he is shocked to find her there. He lays into her for not keeping his distance and that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will have no problem killing her if he knows she’s WSB. Josslyn fires back that he is only concerned about that because his relationship with her mother depends on her being safe. But then, she lays the boom, and tells Jack, Well, you’re too late. You already lost her.”
LULU GETS A GLIMPSE OF CASSIUS’ TEMPER
In addition, Lulu (Alexa Havins) sees a different side of “Nathan.” Since she is unaware that the man before her is his twin, Cassius Fasion (Ryan Paevey), he tells her that Rocco (Finn Carr) blabbed that he shot Cullum to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and now he thinks they should send him away to stop him from talking to everyone else. This concerns Lulu, who rails at Nathan for telling her what to do with her son and that she isn’t going to abandon him. With “Nathan’s” outburst at her on the matter, will she finally get a clue this is not the man she thinks it is?

Good to know… very happy about Genie staying around for awhile… wish she would stay for years!!! I like Kin… but not a fan of the Scotty character unless he would change and be a good guy! I still wish Jack/Frisco was staying around for more time with Maxie… their scenes were just so great and heart breaking and I love their chemistry! I still wish Ingo was coming back to get back with Carly!!! I like Vanessa but it just doesn’t seem to be Sonny and Brenda’s time. I am hoping maybe Oliva and Sonny get closer… but probably unlikely. Jackie is nice to have around… and maybe she could help Scotty be a better person. Love that Lucy is sticking around for awhile! The fact that Lucy and Kin are sticking around must mean they are resurrecting Serena Baldwin with KA.

Patrick I do not think Brenda slept with Michael but she is letting them think so. Every time her character is brought back the writing get’s more stupid. Just leave her off the canvas. When she first came on you actually liked her now she is just awful and that new tattoo on the wrist sooo tacky! I think the actress has major head problems think daytime’s version of Lindsey Lohan.
I would like to see a strong domestic — not necessarily a globe-trotting adventure — for Luke, Laura, and Scotty, plots that have them interacting more with their children as family. Seems the seeds are being planted for that.
I wish Bobbie Spencer would be kept on the canvas. She has connections to Luke, Laura, Scotty, not to mention Carly and Michael. She has a son, Luke, who could be integrated into the fold. And Jackie Zeman is such a delight to watch. Please someone read this and heed this request!

Glad Lucy will be around longer…i like Brenda, yes i do, because i just love how she aggravates Carly…its pure soap fun. Would love to see Brenda and Connie get in a big mud fight over Sonny with maybe Carly joinng in… a threesome mud fightt would be hot,hot hot…did i say hot! I knew Blackie was still in prison…what happened to Diane?…she could use dna to finally exonerate him. Would like Blackie make a play for Sam with Micheal E. returning to the show as Jason who leaves the mob and becomes a cop! Hope Bobbi, Frisco and any vet, return for more guest appearances to prove you can always go back home again!
Awesome news! I had hoped Lucy would stick around – I love Lucy Coe and GH hasn’t been the same without her. As for the rest, I know that Ron has a vision and trust that he is going to take the audience on a wild, enjoyable ride. He has written the show so well and has honored its history beautifully. I really can’t nit-pick the characters staying or going. The way he has written everyone so far, it allows for the actors’ returns which is a major difference between him and past head writers. Love this show and love where it is going. Great job, Ron! Thanks for keeping us on the edge of our seats!

OK lets say what I am sure some GH fans are thinking. Why not keep all the vets and get rid of the ones from other soaps. Todd and Starr can stay on OL and we can keep our vets. Luke and Laura together or not who cares.Luke looks like he certainly doesn’t. He said he wants to be with Spanky pants fine .Laura can find a new man, she is certainly due. Luke gets plenty. I like Laura and want her to stay. They also need to keep Nick, and I am waiting for the new Lulu, E.Ryland is a terrific actress. She should give Lulu some life. The show right now is fine.
mmm, don’t agree. I love watching Roger Howarth and Kristin and Michael on GH… others had said perhaps Kristin could be the new Serena, which would work with Scotty & Lucy staying on, and I hear Lucy wants to be guardian for Rafe, so Serena could be like a big sister for him… I’m hoping Roger’s new character gets to interact with Carly still, they are great together! And I liked Michael (Easton) playing across from Anna and Alexis and Sam. They all seemed to have good GH chemistry.
I was a OLTL fan for 43 years, GH I watched, but OLTL was #1 for most years, but I really liked crossovers and those three coming to GH was great! Totally made GH #1 for me. Too bad they couldn’t work out sharing the characters, but I don’t think of them as OLTL characters – haven’t for a long time. they are GH characters, and certainly ABC contract actors.

I like the idea of Rafe’s guardianship being Lucy… I sorta hoped that it’d be ME… former McBain… so that this establishes his character on GH…. and gives him permanence… a home building…. Rafe’s a cutie… he’d be good with Sam and Daniel.
Problem is that not all the actors can stay, or want to stay on. Tyler C. has an obligation to Lying Game if it’s renewed for another season, and Genie Francis may not want to continue on contract; she has a family and a business of her own she runs.
“Todd” and “Starr” are no longer on GH, but the three actors are on contract with ABC. Why should they not keep their jobs? They haven’t done anything wrong. And none of us knows what the storyline or characters will be, so I advise waiting until you actually SEE what happens before you decree what works and what doesn’t.
If you read the interview with Ron and actually pay attention to it, you’ll see that he loves having vets on board, but they simply can’t keep everyone for various reasons. The actors themselves may choose not to stay on; that’s their prerogative. Just as it is Carlivati and Valentini’s prerogative to tell the story they want to tell. Our job is to watch, or not watch. Simple.
Genie sold her store in Maine.(last August)…so I’m hoping she stays on….she and her hubby and fam now reside in California. I’m a RH fan and a ME fan…not so much with KA…I was hoping she’d go back to OLTL….

Love it! I think Ron and Frank deserve sooooo much more aclaim and appreciation for what they’ve done/are doing with this show. They’re successfully mixing the iconic veterans with new characters. Utilizing everyone on the canvas. True, EVERY character can’t be in a front burner storyline ALL the time, but look at how much they’ve done thus far.
I was NOT a huge GH fan beforehand. Thanks to outlets like YouTube, I’ve been able to catch up on storylines and characters I wasn’t familiar with. But I think the way they’re writing everyone, I almost don’t have to research. It all just makes sense.
My hat goes off to those two. As well as the veterans who have hopped back on board and are showing how valuable they truly were/are to the show. And the newbies for holding they’re own. I watch the CBS and NBC soaps, but personally GH is the only MUST SEE daytime soap on television. (of course, I might be a little byass having been, and still am, a diehard AMC and OLTL soapoholic fan.)
Loving Vanessa Marcil & Laura Wright’s fighting!! Once again, Laura has chemistry with everyone and I wouldn’t mind more Sonny & Brenda and give damn Kate/Connie a friggin’ rest..
Oh yes, keep Kin Shriner and definitely Genie!!! Lots to tell here … but L&L should reunite in the end 🙂

I’m definitely happy that they are staying. I wasn’t quite old enough to remember Blackie Parrish, so that would be awesome if Johns Stamos could come back. I’ve been a fan for a long time and it just keeps getting better and better. Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati have done an amazing job keeping GH on our screens:)
I’m glad Genie is staying I first watched her on Y&R and fell in love with her. I wish they would bring Tristan Rogers back. I Love him and Genie on Y&R together and they were so much fun to watch together. They had great chemistry, too.
I just have to say for the 100th time. I love Frank. He is the best thing about GH.. Just reading this article gave me happy tears. Gone are the years where Gh equalled snooze fest..There used to be weeks that would do by with me simply deleting the show from my dvr..Now I watch it live almost everyday..Next month I start working days and will have to watch it after work..not live..rats…

Glad Scotty, Laura & Lucy are sticking around. But I have to say I hated the storyline given to JW as Frisco once again. If they knew that JW wasn’t going to be around more than a month, then they never should have written Frisco as trying to get back with Felicia IMO. They should have just given him a WSB storyline that brought him back to PC temporarily. Writing him as suddenly being committed to Maxie and wanting Felicia back only to have him split town when Felicia turned down his proposal (which was stupid) just re-enforced the Guza written deadbeat parent Frisco Jones and was a slap in the face to F&F fans. Don’t get me wrong, I love Mac BUT F&F had a huge following back in the day and fans have been longing for a reunion for years. This was one appearance that seemed forced and rushed while other storylines like Connie/Kate & Brit seem to drag on forever!
Also, why didn’t they include Audrey in the nurse’s ball? We got to see her 1 day and I just don’t see why they couldn’t have her attend the ball especially given she was head nurse at GH for years.
Finally, BRING BACK ROBERT SCORPIO! 🙂
I do not think we are going to get RS back since he saw Robin and knows she is alive. This is one time where if you wanted to show the actress alive and being held captive fine but this going back and forth is tiresome. KM is not coming back to GH permantly the viewers need to be able to move on.
There are plenty of ways around Robert seeing Robin alive. He’s in a coma. He could awake and have lost his memory, at least short term memory. Or convince himself it was a hallucination as a result of the coma.

As a F&F fan I feel very disrespected as a viewer. Stopped watching after Monday but from what I hear they keep piling it on just in case we didn’t get the message that we weren’t welcome to the party.
Robert Scorpio is always missed. 🙁 He is just the epiotme of cool.
Keep calm and Mac And Felicia on. I was a huge FF fan back in the day. Loved them, but I also liked Felicia with Colton. Yeah, I know, blasphemous. I liked her with Mac. I liked her with Tom Hardy. Remember those scenes? Whoa, she never, ever, did stuff like that with Frisco! Get the hose.

I love Kin Shriner’s character Scotty. He has a long, long history…and I don’t think he’s any worse then Sonny and Jason…hitmen, Luke, former rapist!, Johnny, mob boss, on and on and on. By the way, love them all! But the Scott character has a bad rap. He truly loves Laura, he’s a great friend to Lucy and Bobby…his character is funny, sneaky, manipulative, poignant in some way…sorta like Todd. So I for one and glad he’s staying, adds a touch of the ol’ days to GH.
Happy Genie/Laura is staying too.
Really hope they put Lynn/Lucy on contract. She’s somehow the heart of the show for me…there’s just something about her…and I really enjoy her interactions. She’s a chatterbox who on the one hand is zany yet is wise and compassionate. Would have liked her “Doc” to stay.
Too bad Rick Springfield coudn’t stay a bit longer. Did he just magically appear and disappear? (didn’t watch today’s episode yet so maybe that’s addressed…)
What about Duke? Was it mentioned anywhere whether he and Felicia (characters) are staying? Hope so!

The only vets I want to see remain in PC are Frisco, Nikolas and Helena. I didn’t care for any of the characters/actors from One Life to Live. I’m not happy they are returning. It was also an insult to longtime viewers of OLTL that they chose to return to GH rather than play out their OLTL roles, never watched the show so I’m not familiar how integral their characters/actors were to the show. They also take storyline time away from GH characters/actors. I would have loved to have seen Frisco and Felicia’s love story play out. Sad that Jack Wagner had to leave. Would be ecstatic to see John Stamos return. I love the younger characters in the show, I think Serena and Dr. Drake have great chemistry and both actors have great chemistry with Emma. I think the writing is not as good as I was hoping it would be, with the exception of the week of the Nurses’ Ball, it has not been good. And one the main characters/actors is missing from the show – Jason/Steve Burton! I wished TPTB would have worked a little harder to facilitate Steve Burton’s request to allow him more time off for his commuting. GH’s loss, Y&R’s gain. At least this viewer is tuning in to Y&R. I think they made a huge mistake when they failed to cast Sean Kanan as the new Jason.
Daisy I am not sure that was the real reason SB left he has been on 13 out of 20 episodes on Y&R in February. Personal reasons were not Nashville he did not like not being center stage and he is over with JFP his buddy and back center stage I heard his next storyline over there as Wonder Boy is to save some drowning kittens!
Though there’s a definite resemblance between Sean and Steve…Sean was AJ in the past and I love that they brought him/AJ back. He’s another character that’s gotten a bad rap…Carly, Jason, Sonny, Tracy…all scheming, lying, manipulative, destructive characters…and yet somehow they’ve continually allowed them to denigrate AJ’s character like they were so much above him.
Love how he’s come back…his budding relationship with Liz and Michael. Though he wasn’t mentioned in this post, I’m hoping Sean’s staying.
I like AJ…. he shows more chemistry with Micheal… then Sonny ever did.
and AJ sparring with Tracy… IS FUN.
if his budding relationship w/Elizabeth grows… then… i see a good fit.
WRITERS… give AJ and mom Monica more bonding scenes… i see the love with these two.
Y&R can have him. GH’s ratings are doing just fine without him. Despite all the threats that it would die without him. Of course the same threats are made about Sonny. Man just think if Sonny left and we got the same ratings boost as we have without Jason?! **dreaming out loud**

I am happy that Genie will be around much longer, but I do not like that Scotty & she are together…I like the theory of Serena Baldwin coming into the picture. I also thought they might let Bobbie stay around & her son Lucas would come in as a possible romantic interest for Felix… I also very much enjoyed the Nurse’s Ball and hope this will be an anuual event…
Jackie Zeman needs to stay on a recurring basis. I have loved seeing Bobbie back on my TV screen! As for Vanessa Marcil, I’m up for her staying. So far, Brenda hasn’t been portrayed as weak yet like when Guza was in power, so hopefully her run is more juicy.
As for Ingo Rademacher, I hope he comes back for more once he’s done with DWTS. I know he lives in Hawaii, but a recurring role would be cool.
I’d like to say first that I’m sad about Julie Marie Berman’s departure. I guess as long as Dominic’s stays, we’ll have to accept the change, but PLEASE keep DOMINIC happy, WE LOVE HIM, He’s such a great actor! Luke & Laura’s storyline is ALWAYS great! But disappointed in Brenda, she loves Sonny but sleeps with his son? Regardless of the circumstances I believe Blackie Parraish should roll into town & go to Kelly’s where Brenda is lunching, have them fall in love with each other & have Blackie & Brenda go off into the Sunset, as for Scotty, always loved Kin Shriner, I think it would be funny for Laura & Scotty to get married & have the reverse (luke catches the bouquet) & we’re back to the Luke/Laura/Scotty story! Tony can Be so FUNNY! If anyone can make it work, Tony can! Thankx for listening

I understanding from an interview is that Geni would like to stay, and I’m pretty sure Jackie would like to stay (was let go before- unfair. Would love it if Lynn stayed, depending on how they make Lucy- some times she’s funny, sometimes too annoying. If they keep her doc to keep her sane- it could be great-. Brenda, the sooner gone the better. I think Ingo thinks he’s too good for gH but he is on DTWS now. Liked him much better blonder and with longer hair.I have no sympathy for Brenda. She’s gone too far. I would love to see Blackie, but not if he’s a hardened criminal who’s been in prison the whole time. Maybe he’s been out for a while and just now ready to go back to Port Charles.
I love all the discussion i’m glad Laura and Scotty are staying and Lucy too!! Let’s put them to good use with the characters that r already there. I’m not crazy about the oltl characters on GH but the actors are talented so hopefully that will work when they come back as other people. Let’s hope it brings more soaps in the future!!
I am so tired of the negative comments toward the OLTL people. It’s their choice if the want to be come so what? You don’t have to like it but can you at least respect it? Sheesh! i love Lucy and I’m thrilled they are coming back even if it’s not as the people they were before.

I wish he would get a clue that there are many who really don’t give a rip to see RH/ME especially KA stink up the GH screen. there is enough GH characters to rotate them without adding those characters back into the mix. And note to RC::: Drama with couples doesn’t always mean a triangle. Can we please have some creativity?!

For the love of God, please keep Jackie Zeman on the canvas. It is so awesome to see her again- she has the absolute sexiest voice ever. Her scenes with Carly and Scotty are great- Keep this woman on the show, Please! And while I’m at it- how about Kristina Wagner?? I hope they keep her on for the long haul too!

Why so much shade on the OTL 3?? They signed on to GH since at the time there was no OLTL….Every time three’s been a change in writers on soaps the new crew wants to put their stamp on everything..The difference this time is that Frank and Rom are actually using the rich history of GH for storyline material..

In the “Im so over them, so dump them” pile (relax, this is never gonna happen) Luke, Sonny, Britch and her mother

As for Blackie – This character (and the discovery of John Stamos) is a fun snapshot for longtime viewers (like me), but we really don’t need the character.
As for the OLTL characters (Starr, McBain and Todd), yes, it will be awkward to have them back playing other roles, but these are phenominal actors and I can’t wait for their returns.

I am happy that the characters of Laura, Scott, and Lucy are staying. I’m not so thrilled about Brenda staying. I like the interplay between the characters of Brenda and Carly, but I am not particularly fond of the actress playing the part. I feel the same way, some times, about the actor playing Sonny. They both seem to pause A LOT and their eyes shift as if they can’t look at their scene partners or are looking for a cue card or can’t remember their lines. That’s very irritating to me and doesn’t help me invest in them. Maybe I’m missing something, because I know a lot of fans love these actors, but I just don’t get it and wish I did.
They need to fire laura wright as carly. bring back the first carly sarah brown. Way better actress than laura wright. tamara braun was a good carly as well

I Love Vanessa Marcil “Brenda”, but I Hate that they only bring her back for short periods of time and keep her character as a fragile little girl that’s going to break if the wind blows to hard, especially since some us viewers remember her from way back when she was such a Spitfire! She is an extremely gifted actress, who has far more depth than they are giving her credit for!
I’m Very Happy that Michael Easton “John/Caleb” (He is My Favorite Gorgeous Vampire!) is returning to GH, and I hope that they keep the “Port Charles” theme going ( I MISS that SOAP), Also I would LOVE for them to bring him and Kelly Monaco “Sam” together!
I’m also Happy to hear that Roger Howarth “Todd” and Kristin Alderson “Starr” are coming back! I wish they would remain the same characters, though!
