Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital featured fabulous performances from Maura West (Ava), Jon Lindstrom (Ryan/Kevin) and Alley Mills (Heather), a heart-tugging moment from Donell Turner (Curtis), and the pick-up of the Sprina kiss as Trina and Spencer FINALLY share a lip-lock and admit their feelings for one another.

With this clearly being a February Sweeps episode, the long-running daytime drama which is about to turn 60 this April, brought to light to the key residents of Port Charles, that Heather is the ‘hook’ killer, and the mother of Esme (Avery Pohl), while Ryan is Esme’s father. All of this was set against the backdrop at Wyndemere.

In story, Heather tells Ava that Ryan is the one who is responsible for destroying her life. Heather reveals that Ryan insinuated himself into her marriage to Nikolas.  Realizing what Heather is saying, Ava takes up Heather’s offer and takes the gun from her and goes to find Ryan. Meanwhile, Ryan has found Esme in the woods and she reveals her water broke and is about to have her baby.

Ava comes upon the two of them, and tells Ryan to get away from Esme or she’ll blow his head off.  Next, Ava is stunned to learn the relationship between Esme and Ryan.  It all dawns on Ava, that Ryan used Esme to destroy her relationship with Nikolas.

Esme makes a run for it, leaving Ava in a face-off with Ryan. He becomes upset. Ava ask him how it feels to lose someone he truly loves, referring to his murder of her daughter, Kiki.  Next, an overcome and emotional, Ava shoots Ryan in the back of the arm. Ryan figures out she must have killed Nikolas since he is nowhere to be found, and boasts that nothing is in their way to finally be together.  However, Ava pulls the trigger again.

Meanwhile, back at Wyndemere, Heather is placed under arrest.  Austin (Roger Howarth), who was attached by the ‘hook,’ is taken by paramedics and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) goes with him at Mac’s (John J. York) request to keep her safe and away from Ryan.

Kevin and Laura (Genie Francis) have gone to Wyndemere after learning along with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), that Heather was the ‘hook’ and the relationship between Esme and Ryan, and then eventually Heather.

At the Savoy, Curtis, who is getting drunk, is visited by Marshall (Robert Gossett).  He informs his father of what happened with Portia (Brooke Kerr), and how she lied all these years that he could be Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) father. Curtis says it’s unforgivable, but Marshall tells him to not throw Portia away so fast.  In tears, Curtis hugs his father for being there for him.

Trina and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) finally give in to their feelings and passion and make out. However, Spencer puts a stop to the proceedings. He tells Trina he doesn’t want her to lose her virginity in an art gallery and wants everything to be perfect for her.  Spencer shares that he doesn’t want to be the guy who took advantage of her while she is reeling from her conversation with Portia.  Trina says she doesn’t know where to go for the night, but Spencer says he has an idea. They head to the pier so Spencer can take Trina to Ava.  When they get there, they learn from Alexis that Esme is Ryan and Heather’s daughter.

What did you think of Ava confronting Ryan and the truth coming to light about Heather, Ryan and Esme’s connection? What did you think of the long-awaited kiss between Trina and Spencer?  Share your thoughts on the episode in the comment section below.

Best soap by far. No idea why the CBS soaps have more viewers. GH is far superior.

totally agree!

I also totally agree.

the episode was exiting to watch although I know they have to balance it out, Curtis is and was a total bored. this guy is such a baby, I know in the real world no one wants to be lied to about anything so its not that so much that is wrong with Curtis its more his attitude, he’s a little self righteous and real quick to cut off anyone who lies to him, omg, what a boring dude, Jordan and portia can do better.

or just get plain bored of men and turn to each other

Yea yr right ! And if yr a Mother you always know yr children come first !!!!!

His justification (in his mind) is Portia knew how he felt about Jordan’s secrecy and dishonesty. Then Portia does the same thing. I get it.

I’ll take Taggert over Curtis any day. Taggert is actually a grown up. Curtis’s daily goal seems to be to strike a pose. Every time I see him I hear that song,” I’m Too Sexy.” I fully expect him to grab Marshall’s hat and start singing,” I’m too sexy for this hat.” Good thing Curtis doesn’t own a cat.

Harry,
You are too funny! Curtis has been bugging me too lately. Hope they don’t do a DNA, although I think Curtis can legally demand one. What a spoiled brat he’s turned in to.

Lot of reveals and lots of fun!

Kiss, meh. Curtis, hypocrite. Taking mob money? Yes. Portia’s lie is bigger. But lying is still lying. Curtis’ could get him killed.

I truly hope this is the end of Ryan Chamberlain. Who would have guessed that a brilliant psychopath could be so boring? And the Sprina kiss was anti-climactic for me, since this revised coupling has little charisma. Spencer needs someone older.

I guess I’m in the minority on here because I enjoyed the Sprina kiss. It was long over due! Spencer Trina Joss and Cam are around the same age. Why would Spencer want an older woman?

You are not. Some of us I have just been lurking here for sometime without comment. But I am on my Sprina high, so I’ll engage briefly. The kiss was definitely long over due and sweet.

VBD,
What spoiled woman ?

There were no surprises with Ryan at Spoon Island. Crazy Heather had already bragged she was The Hook and she and Ryan were Esme’s parents. Now that that’s been revealed, why are they bringing the Nanny into the story? Also, why is Austin so interested in Ava, except for Nickolas whom I’m sure he’s saved and has stashed away somewhere and also the connection with his crazy “cousin”?.
Curtis, Portia, et all, who cares? , and Trina and Spencer, yuk! That whole story is more than boring. I used to love Curtis, but his self- righteousness is disappointing. Am liking Taggert more and more but don’t feel Portia deserves his understanding or forgiveness. Stupid little Trina is so much like Curtis, they surely are related.

We got a whopper of a surprise on Wednesday’s episode. Did anyone predict Ryan’s lifetime of terror to end by being shot by Mac? Kudos to the writers for the “it had to be you” line. That was a worthy acknowledgment to the 30 years Ryan has traumatized Felicia and Mac. John York and Jon Lindstrom performances were both outstanding with Mac’s explaining to Kevin how he killed his brother. I didn’t think they’d permanently off Ryan, but as a long time viewer, I’m impressed with the thoughtful way it was done.

Brook Kerr and Real Andrew’s brought their A game, too. Although their romance never played out on screen, their performances on Wednesday made me feel I was witnessing a couple with deep history.

Throw in the soapy birthing scene and Avery Pohl’s amazing transformation as Esme, Ava jumping from one catastrophe to another, and Scotty’s tough fatherly like love of Elizabeth- all contributing to the episode of the year.

THIS is how you do sweeps!

Violet, hi 🙂
I agree 100- Trina and Spencer are yuk= horrible.. the worst couple ever created..
And—Austin, poor guy he hasn’t been with a woman in a sexhold like forever..
It comes down to a man’s needs lol.
And Curtis, and Portia, are a total bore, worse than watching paint dry..
GH needs to dump all the boring couples and start over.
I want Sonny and Ava to couple up-both would meet their match and give some intrigue if they got their mob spine again. I’ve wanted that for years..

Trina and Spencer, “yuk?, “boring”, and “the worst couple EVER created?”. This is laughable. Glad MANY others don’t agree, because we’re are CLEARLY NOT watching the same show. But thanks for laughs, I needed it. (Shout out to Sprina lol)

Sal,
To each his own and if you were paying attention, you’ld realize that “many others” don’t agree, with you!

And you’re as well (especially to social medial and not this comment section) you would not be quick to say many agree with you, lol.

Anyone referring to Sprina as the “worst couple ever” has obviously not seen the short-lived pairings of:

Sonny & Emily
Luke & Felicia
Courtney & anyone not named AJ

Violet—
I have discussed this with Soaphound? I think?—why is Austin so interested in Ava, indeed!! Something is afoot here and it has to do with Austin’s weird cousin—-I doubt the writers even know what that is themselves, yet.
I also said that the closet/storage room Nikolas’ body is in; isn’t. I don’t think he is dead. That room has a secret door. When Dante breaks the lock tomorrow, the body will not be there. And, if that’s the case, why did Austin say Nikolas was dead? Hmmm—we shall see.

Celia,
I’m really stymied on this one, especially with Austin’s cousin involved. Is he holding Nicholas for ransom or what? We could speculate forever here, the mind boggles. The other day it looked like Austin didn’t even know old Cuz had Nic. I’ve been thinking that Austin’s real interest in Ava is mainly to protect her from him. Also I always liked Roger Howarth and Maura West’s interaction.

Hey, Violet—Yeah, this cousin thing is very puzzling “everywhichway” you look at it.
Just when I think that Austin had no part in Nik’s disappearance, I begin to have doubts again. How did Mason know Nikolas’ “dead” body was in that storage area?–unless he was in cahoots with Austin?
By the same token, your thinking makes a lot of sense, too. Something is brewing —-and Austin IS trying to protect Ava.
Why did Mason take Nikolas and put him on life-support?
I think Mason came to town specifically for Ava and Austin knew it. I have no idea why, but Ava “killing” Nik was an unexpected gift for Mason. He could be holding Nik for ransom—or blackmail—-Mason gets what he wants ( whatever that may be) from Ava or he sings to the cops. I think Austin may have reluctantly agreed to help Mason, but now regrets it—Austin developed a “thing”‘for Ava?
And, yes–Roger and Maura seem to get on well, as he did with M Stafford—I felt the same sort of congeniality between himself and cast members on OLTL. Maybe that’s what Ava needs—no more smokin’ hot guys?? LOL—Albeit, comatose Nikolas is far from holding that title. I liked Coloma.

Celia,
I’m guessing about all this too. I think it’s driving us crazy because we really don’t know how close these two cousins are and how unwilling a participant Austin really is. I think I remember Mason being there the night Ava wacked Nicholss over the head and he followed Austin out to the tackroom. I’ve just assumed he took Nicholas with him, keeping him under wraps and on life support, but for whom is where I get stuck.
As I said I liked Ava and Franco when they were buddies and he was painting and she encouraged his talent.

All great points, Violet—You see things a lot clearer than I. It didn’t even dawn on me that there’s a “higher power” directing Mason, albeit it was hinted many a time. I’m a little slow?? Or inattentive–LOL.
I remember Austin, at one point, telling his cousin, “I’m out”.
Who could this mystery person be? A Cassadine rival? An old enemy? I mean, this family has so many nemeses around the globe, it could be anyone—
Yes, Franco and Ava were buddies—perhaps the PTB are trying to cultivate that phenomenon with her and Austin.

Celia,
When this Mason first came on, someone suggested he might be with Dawn Of Day, and previously, Austin too, but apparently he wanted a new life here in P.C but sure went about it the wrong way, attempting to get money from the Q’s, claiming his father being a Gatlin-Holt was part of the family. All I know is Mason is trying to pull Austin back in by any means. I’m dying to know the mystery person or persons pulling MASON’S strings.

Oh, Violet–I wan’t aware someone thought of a connection between Dawn of Day and the two cousins. Good one!! Makes sense.
I’m with you; someone is definitely pulling Mason’s strings. Does this someone also have a connection to Nikolas?

Celia,
I know this story is just developing but it’s very interesting to me.The way it looks so far is that Mason is fixing up Nicolas and will offer him up to the highest bidder, his mom or Uncle Crank ??

Yes. It could be as you suspect, Violet. However, I don’t think it will be that straight and simple. They never are…..but, one never knows with these writers. If they cannot correct simple grammar, which drives me up the wall—and I don’t mean typos of which I make tons), then anything goes. You are giving them too much credit. Once in a blue moon, TPTB have truly stunned and surprised me by the clever writing and plots—so….
Anyway, where does that leave Ava? Mason could possibly blackmail Ava and hold Nik for ransom; thus, simultaneously collect from Laura or his uncle, too. Maybe?? But, your guesses are always superior to mine.

Celia,
You’re being too nice. I know what a stickler you are about grammar and I know I’m a big offender. These days I’m lucky to get one word in front of the other, and my feet are even worse. My guesses aren’t any better than yours, my mind just goes in a different direction maybe. We knew from the get go ,that Mason was bad news, even towards his own cousin, if that is even true, and what does he really want from Austin ? I love a good mystery, and this is one! Do I care where Sonny gets his guns, etc from? No, I could care less but this intrigues me. As far as Ava, I don’t know if he’s even decided how to utilize her best.

Oh, Violet—I am not targeting you or any of the posters—I think everyone here is very well spoken, grammatically and otherwise. It’s some (not all) actors and writers. I’m not perfect—no one is–i guess all the years of teaching —well, you know.. it’s just so incredible how simple grammar has become such a burden for many.
—gets me a little crazy when I hear our youth speak. Academia, in general, is going downhill in this country–even teachers, today, have no grasp on grammar. Ergo, it’s no wonder we’ve fallen fortieth, globally—old school education is no more. This is the only country which stops teaching grammar after Middle School. They’re more concerned about destroying our history and how we came to be, good or bad. We should learn by our past mistakes, not bury them.
It pains me!! So, forgive me if I sound too full of myself or derogatory—not my intention❤️
Anyway, you’re right—Mason doesn’t know how Ava fits into all this travesty. The writers do this time and again…They throw a bone without a strategic plan of events.
I, also, think that Austin’s presence had a devious purpose originally. Could he have been working, in tandem, with Mason? But, somehow he changed his mind? Maybe, Austin has come to love and appreciate the people of PC?
As yourself, this plot has piqued my interest, as well.

I like Donell Turner and the character of Curtis, but he often doesn’t rise to the occasion when there’s dramatic moments or powerful scenes. Make us feel Curtis’ pain – don’t just act.

Anybody else not feeling the chemistry with Spencer and Trina? The awkwardness reminds me of the attempt to pair Ethan and Kristina. Lexi continued to look more like a teenager while Nathan had seemed much older. Kind of getting that same vibe with Nicholas and Tabyana. Wardrobe selection doesn’t help.

As for the Spoon Island Saga… looks like we’re nearing the end of the road with Heather’s current run. I find it hard to accept she was “the hook” all along. Why wasn’t Ryan furious with her for attacking his beloved Ava? They’ve already set the groundwork for Esme’s complete redemption (daddy brainwashed her). She and the baby will probably move in with Uncle Kevin and Laura (although with Charlotte there, how much room is there really?)

Happy to see two storylines come to key “conclusions” during Sweeps.

Chemistry is definitely subjective because Spencer and Trina are only reason I am tuned into GH. Yes, she is tiny compared to him and a lot of the cast, wardrobe makes her look younger at times and she is soft spoken but I love that when she needs to stand up to Spencer and give him reason, she knows how to get her point across in a calm and stern manner. Kind of like old clips I saw of Lila and Edward Q.

Welcome back to Hell, Ryan!

Passion? What passion? There’s not one iota of passion emanating from “unsexy” nuTrina—-in simpler terms: Spencer is too hot for her.
Aside—-another huge neonate. Esme’s baby was not only looking around and smiling, he was kicking, and actually holding his binky ~~~newborns cannot focus~~their vision is blurry because they are nearsighted. And, they can grasp as a reflex, but not hold. This baby actually “talks”—LOL.
These are super babies—-just stick to dolls , please!! I try very hard to suspend reality. But, two enormous neonates~~one after the other? I’m pretty sure it’s the same baby wearing different colored caps.

Spencer “too hot” for Trina? lol. Your vision must not be too strong, lol. Yes, he is handsome but she is just a beautiful. But keep your eyes close.

Oh, Saaaal? LOL –This is an opinion site and my opinion is-: Trina does not strike me as beautiful. Isn’t freedom of thought wonderful?? We are in Soapland— Not in Eric Blair’s Oceania!! Big Brother ain’t getting in my head!!
So, you want me to keep my eyes close? Close to what? Do you mean closed? Do not tell me what to do. Actually, I don’t have to keep them closed—I simply FF her scenes—That saves me from commenting.
Please note that we all get along here—We opine-We agree or disagree, civilly, not cut each other up!! And, I always defend myself.
By the by??? Spencer IS too hot for this Trina. My opinion!!

I do notice you all get along on here. I often wonder why? I just figured for a while now that misery likes company and their eyes shut, lol. Take care, beauty queen!

How did you guess, Sal? ( obviously your name cannot be Salvatore, The Savior? A relative of the actress? The actress herself?) I was a beauty queen at Prom–Thanks for the compliment.
I doubt any of us is miserable—however, I’m sure you have noticed that we are all well-spoken and educated, here–So, we do have a brain—we exchange thoughts–“The lady doth protest too much, methinks””. ( Hamlet)–I love Willy.
Nonethess, SAL!!— it takes a lot more than your indirect jabs to bring me down. I’ve been to hell and back, ergo, I am immune to your words of insecurity.
Relax!! Enjoy your newfound distraction in GH—love it!!
Oh, pardon the typos–“gotta run”–lunch break almost over–

Prom? Compliment? Ok, lol! Just fyi, not related to the actress or know her personally but I don’t need to be to speak for her. Your “opinion” and others about her looks are rude and uncalled for; and I relax while serving it back to you “educated, well spoken” insecure soap nutcases who are not even astute enough to consider the young actress might read this comment section. Take care!

NuTrina “unsexy” and Spencer too hot for her? Lol. Are you projecting?

In any case, I find the story written for Sprina like an old school romance. I adore their interactions. I love how they see the good in each other and want the best for each other. If that’s boring to some of yall, too bad, lol. There are enough crazies in town that y’all can pick from. I think the two actors work well together. And their kiss was exactly what it needed to be, sweet and sensual.

PS—Curtis—I used to have so much respect for him—beautiful man and character. But, it seems that it’s always everyone else’s fault~~He has risen so far above all others, it’s sickening.—what a snobbish narcissist—He is now targeting Jordan for the second time. WOW—-this guy can do no wrong. So pure!!

Hi Celia ! 🙂
Curtis irks me because-
He wears man jewelry..yuk
Diamond earrings and neck chain, seriously not cool, nope..

Oh Celia, I fear our formerly dear Curtis is turning into another Michael…too good for the likes of mere mortals. Hey, how about Ava and Spencer becoming allies? I’m liking it.

Well, my beautiful friend~~~ methinks, as per SusieQ, all that jewelry may be getting to Curtis’ head, LOL. Soon enough he’ll be wearing a diamond-studded crown. I’ve heard that such “lofty” men wear diamond studs in very “fragile” places. Hmmmm—makes me wonder…yeah….
Except for aunt Stella, I’n not liking that entire family, which in my opinion, is en par with Carly’s. Uffa!!

Any scenes with Maura West are mesmerizing Ava and Ryan scenes were can’t miss. Brooke Kerr was equally impressive with the paternity reveal. I do think Curtis and Nina have a ton more chemistry than Portia and Curtis or Sonny and Nina

Angela Y,
“Curtis and Nina”? Are you kidding? How about Sonny and Liesel?

I don’t know how I stumbled upon GH, but glad I did. Love Sprina and so happy they finally got to share their long awaited kiss.

Glad I found GH last year. Loved getting to follow the Sprina story. Glad that they got to share their first kiss. It was worst the wait.

Worth the wait

Sal,
All this time and we’re just now hearing your drivel? “Long awaited Sprina kiss? ” I could have waited a lot longer, that’s for sure! Those two have no chemestry, no nothing, they don’t even look good together, he being so tall and thin and Trina being the little squatty runt she is. Maybe if she dressed more becoming her size and shape, it would help. Lastly, love the advice you gave Celia to keep her eyes closed because that’s what a lot of us are doing when those two get too CLOSE. I use my FF

Keep using it (the ff) and keep your eyes shut, makes no difference to me or the rest of us that do see their chemistry. I’d suggest you ff the whole show cause you seem very angry. It’s not worth the stress, lol.

LOL—indeed. We are all having fun here and we are definitely not nut-cases. I would have answered earlier,Sal, but I was in class this morning—-so sorry—nonetheless, your tirade is not necessary—you are taking our criticism waaay too personally.
Not worth the stress? No one else is stressed out except you. Why is that?
As far as my previous post—Prom? Compliment? That’s what you wrote—-right?
I guess you don’t appreciate sarcasm; MY sarcasm—It’s called poetic license, ergo you have difficulty differentiating realism from the abstract.
Funny how everyone else can read each other’s “thoughts” and between the lines.
Thus, I suggest you stick to your other social media “outlets” or “inlets”, whatever you desire, if this site stresses you out. It’s that simple. Not healthy. Hope you feel better.

Let’s start a new discussion here. Is it right for Esme to take Ace with her or leave him with Laura where his safety is guaranteed ? I think Spencer is being more spiteful than just showing brotherly concern.

Prison obviously isn’t the best place for a baby. Even a place like Spring Ridge which doesn’t seem to be a “tradtional” prison. Spencer’s not really equipped to raise a child on his own at the moment either. The kid would probably be better off with Laura & Kevin right now. And since they’re both blood relatives of the child, they shouldn’t have any problems making the case.

It didn’t even occur to me why Laura was sympathizing with Esme until she said it yesterday… this whole situation is “triggering” her own memories of Nikolas being born while she was a prisoner of the Cassadines, and how she ultimately had to leave him behind when she escaped the island. Of course none of that ever happened on screen… it was a backstory they made up when teenage Nikolas appeared out of nowhere to save baby Lulu’s life in the 1990s. So Laura might be “advocating” for Esme’s rights as a mother, but that still doesn’t mean the kid should be in prison. It probably will be a case of Laura & Uncle Kevin convincing Esme that little “Ace” (does the kid have a real name yet??) is better off with them until she’s done with her “legal obligations”.

The writers are missing a really interesting beat. Elizabeth should’ve told Esme that although they are not related to each other, both share a brother (Steven Lars). A newly recast SL could be transferred to Spring Ridge as he awaits parole after serving 10 years for the organ harvesting scheme.

At the very least have Liz tell Esme they share a brother and Liz was married to Esme’s other brother. That is one nutty hospital.

Satan,
Thanks for the info. I never realized that all that stuff with Laura was a backstory and never on screen. I wasn’t watching during that time, just before and after. This SL is very complicated but interesting, now claiming that Spencer is the baby dad, will make it even more so, also Maggie appearing to stir the pot.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”

In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.

It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.

Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?

Published

on

By

On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.

As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.

Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Courtesy/ABC

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.

BROTHERLY LOVE?

Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”

With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”

BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE

Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

So, who do you think will be the person to blow Cassius’ cover? Will it be Britt herself? Josslyn? Liesl? Brennan? Nina? Lulu? Rocco, Maxie, Cullum or someone else? Let us know your pick in the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Reveals His Plan to Set Up Chase and Willow to Have an Affair

Published

on

By

After the Wednesday, April 29 episode of General Hospital, it’s clear outside interference and other circumstances are set to blow Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) marriage sky high, as Michael (Rory Gibson) reveals his plans to entrap Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and use her relationship with Chase to do it!

In story, Michael dropped by unexpectedly to Carly’s (Laura Wright). A plotting Michael reveals his plan to nudge Willow and Chase into having an affair. Michael hopes it would create both a political and personal scandal, where Willow would lose her seat in congress. In the scenario, she would be having an affair with her ex-husband, while taking care of her supposed disabled husband, Drew (Cameron Mathison), who cannot speak and is confined to a wheelchair, which in turn will look horrible for Willow’s character.

Carly asked does he really want to destroy his cousin, Brook Lynn’s life in the process? Michael goes in on Chase’s holier than thou attitude, and says he is going to set-up the circumstances that would lead Chase and Willow to betray their spouses, and hit the sheets together. Michael swears to Carly what the two of them do is up to them, but he’s going to go on the offense with this.

MICHAEL HAS BACK-UP

Later, Jacinda (Paige Herschell) is talking with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) at Crimson and how much she dislikes Willow because of what she has done to Michael. Just then, Michael shows up and tells Jacinda privately, he’s figured out a way to fight Willow. Looks like Jacinda might work with Michael to bring down Willow and use Chase as the person to do it!

At the hospital, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that Carly is cheating on Jack, but he doesn’t know with who. Josslyn suddenly flashes back to the moment she found her mother harboring a fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), in her attic, and as figured out that her mother is sleeping with him. She heads out.

BRENNAN IS ABOUT TO LEARN ABOUT CARLY

Next thing you know, Josslyn has showed up inside Jack’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room at the Metro Court and when he enters his room, he is shocked to find her there. He lays into her for not keeping his distance and that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will have no problem killing her if he knows she’s WSB. Josslyn fires back that he is only concerned about that because his relationship with her mother depends on her being safe. But then, she lays the boom, and tells Jack, Well, you’re too late. You already lost her.”

LULU GETS A GLIMPSE OF CASSIUS’ TEMPER

In addition, Lulu (Alexa Havins) sees a different side of “Nathan.” Since she is unaware that the man before her is his twin, Cassius Fasion (Ryan Paevey), he tells her that Rocco (Finn Carr) blabbed that he shot Cullum to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and now he thinks they should send him away to stop him from talking to everyone else. This concerns Lulu, who rails at Nathan for telling her what to do with her son and that she isn’t going to abandon him. With “Nathan’s” outburst at her on the matter, will she finally get a clue this is not the man she thinks it is?

So, what do you think of Michael’s plan to push Willow and Chase into an affair? Will it work or backfire? Do you think Joss will reveal that Valentin is the man sleeping with Carly to Brennan, which will send him in a rage? Will Lulu continue to be clueless about “Nathan?” Weigh-in via the comment section below. But first, take a look at the GH video tease for today’s April 30 episode.
