GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ava Reveals To Sonny She's Preggars! Fluke Sees Luke!

On yesterday’s episode of ABC’s General Hospital, Ava (Maura West) yet again saved herself from certain death!
After Sonny (Maurice Benard) finally has the evidence (thanks to Carly) that Ava shot and murdered his beloved Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), Sonny wants to rid the world of Ms. Jerome once and for all.
In showdown scene between powerhouse performers Maurice Benard and Maura West, as Sonny is about to pull the trigger, since now Ava had basically admitted she was the culprit in Connie’s dearh, she tells Sonny there is something he doesn’t know, and then reveals she’s pregnant! And that leaves us with this question: Who is the baby daddy of Ava’s baby? Is it Sonny or is it his son Morgan’s (Bryan Craig(? Either way, according to Ava, it’s a Corinthos offspring!
Elsewhere, finally after months of wondering just what is going on with “Luke Spencer” crime lord, Fluke (Anthony Geary) goes to what looks to be Miscavige to a high security padded room where none other than the real Luke is stashed away. And as previewed in On-Air On-Soaps recent interview with GH head writer Ron Carlivati, he revealed to us that viewers would learn a clue to the true identify of the Luke crime lord within short time. From the looks of this, we now know that the real Luke is locked away!

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Carly and Lulu Make Plans to Rescue Their Children; Anna Looks Determined to Secure Her Freedom
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, the race is on! Can Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get to Rocco (Finn Carr) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in time to ensure their safety from Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)? Can Carly (Laura Wright) with the help of her brother, Lucas (Van Hansis) rescue Josslyn (Eden McCoy) from captivity at Wyndemere? These questions may be answered, plus the return of the one and only Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are on tap!
In the just released General Hospital spoilers video for the week of June 22-26, Lulu tells her mother, Laura (Genie Francis), “Dante and I have to get to Rocco before Cullum!” Meanwhile, Rocco (Finn Carr) looks angered and emotional as Britt walks through their cabin hideout. Does Rocco know his parents are on the way to find them, or has Cullum already tracked them down to the British Virgin Islands?
Back in Port Charles, Carly is informing Lucas that his niece, “is a WSB agent.” She knows Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is being held against her will at Wyndemere, and she has to find a way to get her out. Lucas agrees with Carly’s plan of, “We go in and we don’t leave without Josslyn!” Elsewhere, Josslyn is looking worried for her future as she is stuck in captivity thanks to Cassius, Cullum and Sidwell!

FINOLA HUGHES RETURNS
The final moments of the teaser promo reveal Anna in a psychiatric clinic in France. We have not seen her for months after Cullum, Sidwell and Pascal fed her hallucinogenics to make her believe her arch nemesis, Cesar Faison was alive!
Now, the doctors walk towards her hospital bed, where we see the super spy calmly knitting. Is Anna back to normal and playing everyone to get out of her predicament, or does she still remain deeply traumatized … or both?

Maurice Benard Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ Writers; Teases Upcoming Sonny Scenes with Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric
With the highly-anticipated returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on this week’s June 24 episode of General Hospital, Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) upcoming return on July 13, which also serves as the ABC daytime drama’s 16,000 episode, things are about to fire on all cylinders in the story, as noted today by series star, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
On Father’s Day, the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor and mental health activist took to his Instagram and expressed in a video that he has some unbelievable upcoming senes with the aforementioned Burton and Hughes. Add to that Nazneen Contractor (Justine Turner) and Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), where Benard gave credit where credit is due to the GH writing team, which is led by co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten..
In this video, Benard said, “I just want to get on here and say that I did some work with Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Rick Hearst, Nazneen Contractor, and they’re all just fantastic. Truly fantastic. But, I want to say the writing was just exceptional. It truly was. It was exceptional. So, thankful for that kind of writing. I know writers don’t get the credit a lot, but I just want to say to the General Hospital writing team, keep rolling!”

So now the question becomes, with a major tease like that, what is about to go down between Sonny, Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric? Will we finally get to the end of the line for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), as previously teased by the GH co-head writers? Will we learn what happened to Jason and Anna, fully? Will Justine and Sonny becomes closer or stop their liaisons? And what of Ric? Will he be true blue to his brother or double-cross him? There is a lot at stake as we move further into the summer and one that looks like it could be one of the more exciting ones in years!
FINOLA HUGHES CONFIRMED AMAZING SCENES WITH MAURICE BENARD
As a punctuation point to his video, Benard also shared this written message in the post: “I just did some wonderful scenes with Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Finola Hughes and Nazneen Contractor and and unbelievable writing, freaking amazing scenes that you will see in the near future on General Hospital.” In fact, Finola Hughes jumped in the post comment thread and responded, “I loved our scenes so much xxx”
Fans will most likely see all the scenes Benard referred to later in July, since GH tapes approximately six weeks ahead of air.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Announces Upcoming Release of His First Single, ‘If You Need Me’
In a surprise move, Daytime Emmy winner, Chad Duell (ex-Michael Corinthos, GH) is getting ready to unveil a new chapter of his career in music.
The former GH star, where he played the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for 15 years, has announced his new single, “If You Need Me” will drop on Friday, June 26. The single is now available for pre-order on Spotify and major music streaming platforms and is distributed by DistroKid.
Taking to his Instagram story over the weekend, to announce the pre-save of his new single, Chad expressed, “I’ll make a full post about what I’ve been up to and my music once it goes live next week, but you can pre-save my first single so it goes straight to your Spotify once it drops next week.”

SINCE LEAVING GENERAL HOSPITAL
Previously, since his departure from the ABC soap opera. Chad starred alongside Zach Mendez in the world premiere of of Yum Yum at Annapolis, a new play written by Bruce Reisman. Duell last appeared on General Hospital on the January 21, 2025 episode.
The part was recast with Rory Gibson who debuted as the new Michael in May of 2025 during the Nurses’ Ball episodes and who has remained in the role since that time.
In an interview earlier this year on The Able Show, Duell said on his decision to exit the soap opera, “I was blessed to be part of that (show) for as long as I have, but what happens sometimes is if you’re doing the same thing, especially in a creative field for such a long time, you can get a little burnt out in a way. It can make you a little depressed, so that’s kind of what happened. On top of that, I had other things going on in my life at the time. My father passed away recently and I just needed a reset. So, I stepped away. A lot of times you have to go through some stuff to really step into that next level. I needed to kind of feel uncomfortable.”

I am with you; how utterly ridiculous-the masks.
Fluke story line needs to go! And, ewww, Ava & Sonny, yuck, yuck, yuck!
I kind of figure they would have to bring a pregnancy into the picture but woukd that stop Sonny from doing the deed after Ava gives birth? I still think that is Luke’s cousin Bill Ekert but I do not remember Bill being so evil when he was on the show.
Another question might be is Ava really pregnant or is this just a way for her to keep Sonny from killing her?For now it buys Ava time because if she is indeed pregnant it keeps her alive and if she isn’t then she could use the time to come up with another plan to keep Sonny from killing her.If Ava is pregnant with Sonny’s child that could be the final nail in Sonny and Morgan’s relationship.As for Luke i think it was a given that the guy walking around the last few months wasn’t the real Luke.Now the question becomes who is he really?I think it could be Luke’s identical cousin Bill Eckert.

I’m RC is not the first head writer to repeat a story another writer did.Plus the Claudia story happened years ago.So if RC wants to do a similar story now i have no problem with it.
GH has gotten its largest May sweeps ratings in 7 years!!!
Big deal, abc wants out of the soap business. Abc is only giving gh 1 year one year contracts at a time. THey are not confident with gh anymore. Its only a matter of time, when gh gets cancelled. Yes the ratings are up, so what, that doesn’t mean anything anymore. Say bye bye gh, and hello to new talk shows and more reality shows. I quit watching gh, last week. Very painful to watch. I watch days and young and the restless.
I don’t care if ABC is just giving GH one year deals because it just means GH will be on the air for at least one more year.Plus maybe one year deals is better than multi-year deals because it means GH knows they can’t get complacent or they could be cancelled.
I didn’t see any power in Maurice Bernard’s performance. All I saw was Bernard stalling so he could remember his lines.
Loved the ‘real Luke’/’fake Luke’ mini-scene, but I will be glad when this story is over. Once again a story has been dragged out so long that it has lost all its power. Now we are going to be thrust into a who’s the daddy story with Ava’s latest reveal. Do I really care whose spawn she is carrying — if she is pregnant at all — ? No, I don’t care.
Maurice Bernard/Sonny is a very powerful actor.. He owns Sunny and always gives a great performance..
I love the 2 stories, they are intriguing and high drama..
I can’t wait to see whats next and how it all turns out..

I, too am tired of the storyline with Eva. All the lying and deception has gotten boring. She’s sitting around on the island drinking Mai-Tai’s and now she’s supposedly pregnant. But, nice to know they have drugstores on Sonny’s island where folks can buy pregnancy test kits? Yea, right. The Sonny character ran out of steam years ago. Betraying both his sons by killing AJ and then sleeping with Eva has taken him even more out of whatever “integrity” he had.
The only fun part of this mess would be if Carly ends up becoming a grandmother…and to Ava’s brat, no less!!!!

Sonny and Ava slept together a few weeks ago.So it is possible she could be pregnant now.However if she is pregnant then i’m sure there’s going to be a paternity test done when she’s further along when there’s less risk.
Not exactly the most shocking plot twist ever. Lol. Watching a greasy murderer threaten a pregnant woman and tell her he wants to watch her bleed out….just what I and so many others want to watch after lunch. Gross!!!!!! Sonny’s code of “honour” comes and goes to suit his needs. He threatened to kill Carly just last year and she is the mother of one of his children. Why do these people love murder so much? Snarly sat there and snarled at Rick for locking her in a panic room…as she sat there all doe eyed and in love with the serial killer and rapist right beside her. These people are very selective about their sociopaths!

I predicted Avas pregnancy some time ago(maybe its Lulu’s stolen embryo…kidding…lol)…child could still be Morgans(i like Sonny and Ava together…kind of reminds me of Barnabas and Angelique of Dark Shadows…Angelique was responsible for Josettes death…Ava for Connies…Barnabas confronted Angelique when he found out she was a witch…Sonny confronted Ava when he found out she killed Connie…some minor similiarities but it still reminds me of those two DS characters just the same)…maybe fluke is really Bill but still could be Jerry, The Balkan, a Cassidine, or Mr. Marbles who next will go after Epiphany…lol…Lulu still hasnt seen a picture of Lucas’s shooter which i thought would happen and Anna seems to have forgotten the Patrina car accident!!!

Mark, as long as GH is on and im enjoyng it im going to watch but if it gets cancelled i wont loose any sleep over it!!! (yes, it has its gross moments but i still like other parts of it) I watch Days which is better written but i only watch Y&R on occassion…as for May sweeps it is a big deal even if abc could care less…it shows people will still watch soaps…anyway, ill survive even if my soaps dont!!!
I found it interesting that Anna referred to Barrett Enterprises as “B.E.” which are Bill Eckert’s initials. I think Faux Luke is Luke’s cousin Bill. Especially after that reference. Ava is clearly lying. Just what we need, another spoiled spawn of Sonny’s from yet again, another baby mama. Please, no more Micheal and Kiki “love” scenes. Ugh.

I’m really surprised at the number of fans, a lot of women, here and on Facebook, refer to Ava being pregnant as “gross” because they think she is too old to be with Morgan, too old to be pregnant but not a word about Sonny always being with younger women and knocking them up. Sad when women perpetuate the double standards that put them down.

I think Sonny is a total manwhore who takes no responsibility for birth control (or self-control for that matter.) He makes me sick. But I kinda love to hate him and enjoy his character in small doses. As far as the women in his life? I have no double standard as I think all consenting adults should bear personal responsibility and self-respect. But Crypt-sex? In the Q Crypt? On the final resting place of the man they murdered? It doesn’t get much more disgusting than that. Not to mention, I believe his one-time “love” Emily Q is laid to rest there as well. SMH.
Have zero interest in another Corinthos baby, and if someone doesn’t kill FLUKE asap, I won’t even be recording this show to FF through. I keep expecting him to sprout horns and a tail.

Don’t forget that we’ve seen Ava having cocktails and thanking the butler for his bar tending skills. I think the positive pregnancy test was a back up plan that she’s probably kept in her back pocket (literally) for a while. Now for the made scramble to get pregnant for real…
Plus maybe Ava knew eventually Shawn would tell Sonny that she was the one who shot Olivia last year.So Ava may have known that Sonny would try to kill her whether it was because she killed Connie or because she shot Olivia.So pretending to be pregnant was her way out but i’m wondering if the surprise will be on Ava if she turns out to be pregnant for real.
I’m not complaining too much about GH these days. Ava dropping the pregnancy bomb wasn’t surprising but I loved seeing Sonny’s reaction because he thought he had her D-E-A-D! I hope they will tell us who is Fluke by next week, or at least give us more clues!!

For the just concluded May Sweeps ratings period, ABC’s “General Hospital” attracted its largest audience in seven years in Total Viewers (3.068 million) and best performance in three years in Women 18-49 (747,000/1.2 rating) and Women 25-54 (999,000/1.6 rating) – since May Sweeps 2007 and 2011, respectively. The soap ranked as the #1 daytime show in Women 18-49 (tied in rating). Further, “GH” stood as the #1 program in Women 18-34 (252,000/0.7 rating), hitting a 4 year high in the demo – since May Sweeps 2010.
The iconic soap posted gains of 8% in Total Viewers (3.068 million vs. 2.851 million), 6% in Women 18-34 (252,000 vs. 237,000) and 4% in Women 25-54 (999,000 vs. 964,000).
Finally the fluke storyline is moving forward and I’m enjoying GH again, and hooray to Anna for not excepting to help Julian, at first I thought she was being vendictive, but finally Anna was acting like her old self and not being filled by Julian , hopefully she’ll catch on quickly that Rick is being set up. I’m hoping GH is getting back on track and that RC can keep himself or someone can keep him checked. Keeping my fingers cross. One last thing, I could care less if Jason comes back but if he’s being recast I give my vote to billy miller.

I don’t think Ava is really pregnant, it’s just a manipulation tactic. If she truly was, then why didn’t she say so at first instead of trying to manipulate Sonny into not killing her?
As for Fluke, the scenes with him and Luke were very creepy and made me despise Fluke even more, which I didn’t think was possible. But it’s starting to make sense now… Barrett Enterprises… B.E. … Bill Eckert?! Anna said it herself: “B.E. that’s interesting.” It could be a famous RC red herring but what if it is actually true?
Yeah Ava could be lying about been pregnant but the joke could be on her if a doctor confirms that she is indeed pregnant.Plus maybe she told Sonny she was pregnant because she knew he would take her back to Port Charles to get confirmation.On the island Sonny could easily kill her and get rid of her body.In Port Charles it might be a little harder for him to kill her.

The concept of a Jerome/Corinthos baby could be interesting…two families so twisted and at odds with each other…Sonny stifled from killing the woman who killed his love…coupled with his guilt over killing AJ made worse now by knowing that AJ was innocent.
I think there are many explosive possibilities with this storyline should they decide to pursue the baby route. I’s the only way they can keep Maura on the show which they want to do.
I must be losing my edge because I honestly did not see Ava pregnancy coming. I thought RC had written her in a corner and I did not know how they would get her out it– then boom a Corinthos baby— buys her at least nine months, and in nine months Ava can think of thousand ways to avoid Sonny’s wrath.
As for Fluke I don’t know who he is, all I know is after watching him on screen I feel the need for a shower to get his slime off of me.

theres’s been a lot of angst, emotional upheaval, with Sonny’s part of the GH pie.
1st there was Connie’s death
2nd there was AJ death
and now… it caught me : Morgan is going to be a father!
I totally am on board… with how Ava and Morgan have caught on… fire it up

if Sonny claims to be all that about HIS family… then so be it… Ava has him in a corner and locked up… as well… with AJ’s murder… and vice versa

You realize that this is the end of Anthony Geary for the summer. Perfect way to write him out for his summer leave. We will all be up in the air until he comes back. Great goodbye for the summer but annoying for the audience.
Last year i think Anthony Geary split up his Summer vacation.In that he came back for few weeks during the Summer for a few weeks but then left again until the Fall.So maybe he’ll do the same thing this year.That way Luke and “Luke” won’t be offscreen for the whole Summer.
