GH’s Bryce Durfee Previews Vaughn’s First Impression of Josslyn, “(He) Sees Her as a Headache”
On the Friday, March 7th episode of General Hospital, and as previously reported, Bryce Durfee makes his debut as a WSB handler named Vaughn, who shares scenes with his agent-in-training, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). From the sounds of it, things don’t go well between the two, but you know what they say? Could it be really just be love at first sight?
Durfee teased his GH debut when speaking with Soap Opera Digest, where he opened up about what his new soap alter-ego’s initial impression of Josslyn will be. Bryce revealed, “He’s not impressed. Initially, I think Vaughn sees her as a headache, the newcomer who he doesn’t really believe is meant to be there and it’s just creating more work for him.”
In fact, Vaughn and Josslyn actually get into a fight with one another as Durfee shares, “On my first day, we have a fight scene. That made it extremely exciting. Eden and I had a really fun time trying to figure that out, and since then, we’ve had a couple more, so we’ve really got it down now.”

As for Bryce’s first impression of his new scene partner, Eden McCoy, Durfee had nothing but high praise, “She was very warm and welcoming. For years, I’ve been coming to sets and being a guest star and there are some leads who maybe aren’t as warm and welcoming, so I appreciated that. She was so fantastic, very helpful, very informative. I would say we had instant chemistry. We just have a really easy dialogue between us.”
However, while Vaughn is kind of feeling Josslyn is a nuisance at the start, he is harboring his own issues. Durfee explained, “Vaughn has a lot going on under the surface, and he’s not really sure what he wants to show at different times because he’s always kind of playing a game. And I think with Eden’s character, even when he wants to level with her, he’s still keeping his cards to himself.”
So, are you looking forward to seeing how Vaughn and Josslyn get to know each other and what ensues? Do you think Josslyn will survive WSB handler training or wind up being thrown out of the bureau? Do you think she will fall for Vaughn or is too soon after the death of her boyfriend, officer Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)? Weigh-in via the comment section, but first check out a tease from the March 7th episode of GH below.
Hes 16 years older than joss not happening
He is suppose to be a professional so romance should not play a part in the story I am hoping that he comes to the conclusion that she does not have what it takes to be a good agent
I agree. She is not over Dex yet.
To soon for her to fall in love.
It would be refreshing for soap to come up with a story that does not mixed pleasure with work
Age is just a number
Oh, come on!! This guy even has the same appearance as Dex from hair color, eyes, etc.
Ridiculous move GH to replace what you already had.
Why did they do this they could of had joss and dex in the wsb together
To conclude the subject Josselyn is a college student so do not distract her let her leave a normal life
Would a normal life be of any interest to the viewers? Look at Drew and Willow… can’t stand them together and mostly can’t stand weeping Willow anymore.. but I love watching them.. better to vent feelings at a fiction couple rather than real
I am so tired of I meet you, I hate and we fall in love storyline. GH seems to do it more than any other soap – OVER PLAYED!
You are so right! Can see right through their cat and mouse games. Maybe it would be better to have an instant attraction, and forgo all the phony stuff in between.
Looking forward to all the new beginning GH is offering… absolutely love the fiddle playing pool boys scene with Tracy on Thursdays show… hope we see them form a strong bond.
Oh, what did I miss? I didn’t see any pool scenes you’re describing. I’ll see if I can recover it.
It was a nod to Satan’s nickname for Gio, ” the fiddle playing pool boy”. It is one hell of a good nickname! Satan’s comments are bang on hilarious.
I certainly agree with you, but I guess I missed this one. I think the “the fiddle playing, pool boy scene” would have been a good one. Watch out, the “writers” will be after you!
Like a Fiddler on the Pool! They’re bathing Gio in such saintly light while placing a halo on him, it seems likely that he will be walking on water while playing the violin( fiddle).
Why does there always have 2 b a romantic future w 2 ppl? Cnt these writers just make it what it is & just let these 2 work w each other?
I say go for it . And Joss will not let herself fail
Hes to old
Drew Quartermane or Cain needs to go. He is so mean and thoughtless!!!
I knew Lulu couldn’t help herself but to judge Brooke Lynn! At least Brooke Lynn birth her baby, Lulu killed her baby. She has NO room to judge Brooke Lynn! I think part of her judging her is because she’s jealous that Brooke Lynn had a baby by Dante. I want her to tell him so he can bond with Brooke Lynn and find their son.. even though he’s already there under their noses.
Oh, this comment is not it. Also, it’s “Brook Lynn” without the E.
Stop it. And I’ll just leave it at that.
She will make it as an agent and when Carly finds out…oh boy. No, story right now but who knows as time goes it could turn into a love story.
I fast forward through Joss. I see they’re trying to make her the next Anna Devane, WSB agent but it’s just not working. Joss is fine but she’s ordinary and Anna is extraordinary.
I like him & hope in the long run they get together.
Please make Brad, Drew & Willow go away.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
