GENERAL HOSPITAL: Can Ric's Scheme To Use Hayden To Keep Liz And Jake Apart Really Work?

On ABC’s General Hospital viewers learned on Wednesday that it is indeed Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), the jilted ex of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who is behind Hayden (Rebecca Budig) showing up out of nowhere claiming to be Jake’s (Billy Miller) wife!
Hayden and Ric apparently met via an online dating site, they did not have a love connection, so Ric – the ever calculated one – found out that Hayden needed plenty of cash for her debt that incurred after her husband left her. Hayden agreed to be Ric’s co-conspirator in this scheme, including even posing for faux wedding photos with a guy Ric hired to pose as Jake with his “face” before his accident.
Thank goodness for Carly (Laura Wright) though! While Elizabeth starts to think that Hayden’s story of being Jake’s wife may be true, Carly is putting her foot down, saying something is way off and they head to the Metro Court to find Hayden, only when they get there they walk-in on Jake and Hayden seemingly locked in a kiss. This happened after Hayden armed with a wedding ring, (thanks to Ric since that could have been a bone of contention that would have blown the ruse sky high) puts the supposed MIA ring on Jake’s finger. When the gals walk-in viewers see Jake resisting the kiss being planted on him by Hayden!

But how far can Ric go with this before someone pins this on him? Even the guy he paid off to take the wedding photos showed up and looked like he was about to blackmail Ric!

Personally, no, I do not believe Rick’s scheme will work…perhaps for a while. But, Carly, or someone else will smell a rat. This plot is overly used, how stupid are these people? And, how stupid do they think we are? Please, writers, add a little sophistication to your ‘cloak &dagger’ storylines.
Things will not add up…something’s ‘gotta’ give. So far, Liz has weak, little doubts about this fake wife……not so Carly…she is sure of foul play and that something fishy is afoot. Something is really rotten in the state of Denmark….ahem, I mean New York.
Why isnt Jake demanding to see the minster who allegedly married them, inlaws, friends and coworkers who can comfirm they are a couple—or go to the town where they were married, lived and work—you can fake photos but not everything!!!
Jim, if Rebecca Budig showed up on your doorstep claiming she was your wife would you want ANY proof!

I agree with you. Why does he not question anything? Why does he accept what is told to him?
He may not remember his past, but, we know , he himself said, on several occasions, that he has an affinity with Liz. His memory is also stirred by Carly and Sam.
But, his senses draw a blank with Hayden. Shouldn’t that tell him something?
If the writers do not light a match underJake’s pants and embark him on a voyage of discovery, per se, …..well, they’re in the wrong business…writers…give us something…..give Jake all the ammunition he needs to seek the truth instead of relying upon women to do the work for him.
And, what is wrong with Liz? Why is she giving up? Oh, yeah, it would not be ethically/morally right…sure!!!
I totally agree Jim H. And with Cee Cee. They need to give Jake/son some strength in his personality. Billy Miller is a good actor, but they need to give him some strength in his personality or the new Jason will be boring. I don’t want him to be in the mob, but I don’t want him to be a total wimp. he knows he feels nothing for Hayden … We need Jason /Jake to be interested in finding out the truth. maybe working with Carly to find out the truth. He needs to start finding out who he is.
Sophisticated storytelling is not something we are going to get. Characters are routinely dumbed down to advance or stall a plot and the audience is supposed to ignore that as the characters ignore the obvious. The funny thing here is that on a show where characters are routinely dumbed down and fooled, Liz and Carly are suspicious of Hayden from the start. Liz had attitude before she even opened her mouth. So that’s a departure from the usual way that characters are portrayed, but it is so OTT and unwarranted that their “smarts” lose credibility. At least be initially receptive to the idea that a missing person with amnesia could be found by his wife. Start getting skeptical as her story becomes questionable and things don’t fit; not from the second she shows up. How about writing a story? And BTW, when Jake and Liz were scratching their heads as to why Hayden might be making up the story, Helena never crossed their minds? The woman implanted a chip in his brain to control him, she’s the reason he’s here, and she’s not at least a suspect? Now of course we know she’s not involved, but how would she not be part of the discussion?
But to the bigger point, the whole story is being presented in ridiculous fashion. First, the comments by Liz about searching through every missing persons report in the country and Carly saying that Jake has been haunted by the fact that he could have a family out there? Are you serious writers? One of the unbelievable parts of this story has been that for six months, Jake Doe has shown no interest in who he really is, why Helena would have targeted him, how he has this skill set that she wanted to utilize, or if he has a family. We’ve seen no search, no struggle. It has been a perplexing element of this story for months, that is MONTHS, and now we’re told oh yeah, all of the questions and struggle and emotion that we didn’t see, one of the reasons this story has been so lackluster and thin, were actually there. Do the writers just read boards like this, learn from the viewers what is deficient in their story and then think they fix it with a line or two from a character, after the fact, way after the fact?
As for Hayden showing up, again, it is all written so thin, as if the audience are children. This could have been interesting if written with sophistication, with an intricate plan, not a photo shoot at the Metro Court. Which btw, the Metro Court? The writers sketch a scenario where Carly and Liz walk in on Hayden and Jake kissing, so the obvious thing is have them in a room at the Metro Court because Carly can bust in with a key. The fact that Ric, or anyone else for that matter, would have to be a complete moron, to use that room, to have Hayden and Fake Jake there and to potentially be seen with them, at a place that Carly works every day and where a bunch of people he knows live, is I guess something the viewer should overlook. Is this really smart writing? Were there not other options? Would they be that hard to come up with?

I have mentioned many times, that this site is chock-full of many intelligent posters…I should say ‘thinkers’. You are one of them. Thus, it is insulting to the viewers to write such drivel. So many, if not most, of the storylines are mired with illogical, grasping-at-straws plots bordering on ennui.
The writers do not even make an attempt to get their ducks in a row. They do not seem to think of the audience. There is no cohesive thought behind offering a feasible scenario either.

Bravo, this is one of the best reasoned and expressed posts on this site in quite some time. The fact that you (and other viewers) can see all this so clearly just begs the question: How can the writers, whose job it is to think about these things, be so lackadaisical in their plotting? It’s really unfortunate; this story could have been so much better than it is.
You are right, so right! They have good actors and let their good skills be misused with the poor script.

I agree…Helena should have crossed their minds. It crossed mine and I actually think that would have been a more interesting path for the writers to have taken, since Ric’s scheme was so obvious…and will be so easily taken apart. And I also wondered how the writers could take such a bright guy, excellent lawyer, manipulative aficionado…who really did seem to be a changed man upon his return, and have him fall back on his old ways so soon. Especially since one of the reasons he lost Liz was due to this very behavior. His love for Molly, his desire to restart his relationship with Elizabeth, his desperate plea to to be understood and believed…only to fall back into the same pattern. Can he be that stupid? Apparently, yes.
I’m starting to think the writers deliberately incense the viewer so we can play this interactive game with them as we decipher the error of their ways and toss around ideas. Gotta hand it to them…they’ve turned a negative into a positive!
AJQ it doesn’t even have to be all that sophisticated as long as the majority of the story is plausible..and by plausible it’s like you said..not months later after scouring the best boards out there with the best bloggers…YES US…YES MICHAEL FAIRMAN…LOL…but for real not LOL… that’s just the truth. How do you not sit for moments at a time and tie one thread together with another..it’s a job that gives you thorough hours of enjoyment making up the world of other people’s lives…THEN DO IT LIKE YOU CARE ABOUT IT…common sense writing doesn’t mean boring and deliberately trying to make fans scream at the tv because you deliberately went left of center..for that effect…STOP…THINK…WRITE…LOOK BACK…REMEMBER…WRITE…GEEZ…the amount they get paid for the sheer amount of BS they sometimes put out is just mind boggling.

The only way this could have been worse is if Sparkle Pony suddenly trotted in saying she’s the real wife.
This is like that movie Overboard only there’s no charismatic and funny Kirk Russell and Goldie Hawn to pull this off.
This story has gone overboard to the point of killing off my interest in the great Jake reveal. Billy Miller as Jason was one of the story aspects which drew me back in.
I am about 2.5-3 weeks behind. I have no inclination to attempt to catch-up-which is sad. I feel as though the writers just need to scrap a lot of these “storylines” and start over.
You know what dmr…i’m behind as bad as you…a bit worse..I gladly binge on B&B because even though they can churn out some mess at times at the moment it is can’t miss or you better have a DVR…I won’t dump my ep’s of GH but it does make me cringe at times and FF..the sad thing is that it’s so over the top I watch it for the camp of the story more than the meaning or passion for the story..I FF Days more than I should but not through the scenes of drunk Anne trying to drunk up sober Brady…but it’s a tedious show and Jennifer Horton just needs to move somewhere else…PERIOD…as for Y&R..not to happy with the lean toward must see sweeps period stories but since the same writers are still credited with the same shows months after Pratt took over…I can only imagine the mess left to be seen when their names disappear and it’s all up to him..so I brace myself and do my best not to FF too much…thanks for the Burgess Jenkin scenes which help move a show forward REAL QUICK…and in short..I HEAR YOU.

The big question is: ‘What is Hayden suppose to do next if she convinces Jake they ‘are’ husband and wife’—does she have any friends and relatives, and will they play along?…This plotline cant last long…Hayden will have to stay in PC and live with Jake or Ric’s chances to be with Liz will end before it started…
I doubt the writers thought that far, jimh. Hayden would certainly have a ‘lotta splainin’ to do. I hope Jake mans up and not just accept what she tells him. Who knows, perhaps in the midst of it all, a miracle will happen and he’ll get his memory back.
I also think she’ll fess up. I caught a little bit of something on her face during Carly’s heated tirade…..or, she’ll just lure him into bed. No, just kidding…I doubt it’ll come to that, it can’t!
That’s a great question, jimh. This has to be one of the most stupid move the writers could have concocted. It is so frustrating because we are not children. Rick is too old to behave this way…what are TPTB thinking?????? In what world can this idiocy work? There are so many holes in this scheme, I want to scream.

I mean they look good together and for them two to be in cahoots they have that in common. Ric will be found out and will lose Liz and Sam will get Jakeson and Ric and Hayden will fall for each other like it should have always been! I would chose Hayden over Liz anyday! Someone posited the theory that Hayden is Nathan’s long-lost girlfriend, if so, she will be coming between my two favorite couples, Jake&Liz, Nathan&Maxie. Exactly what happened on AMC, Rebecca Budig’s Greenlee came between Ryan&Gillian and Leo&Becca, my two faves. She’s a good actress, but I hate the characters she plays! LOL
No, Hayden is in her forties. One of our fellow-posters suggested that Valerie, Luke’s niece, was Nathan’s lost love.

I had completely forgotten about the fact that Nik knows Jake is Jason. Of course, you make the most sense. That fact will be a very delectable storyline in itself.
That’s how I look at it. Nothing like bringing back a favorite daytime actress, only to have her be hated, right from the get-go. I didn’t see the entire episode today, but I think the whole lot of them, Jake, Carly, Liz and Hayden ought to take a trip over to Beecher’s Corners, see if anyone recognizes Hayden. Oh, and I also think that Danny should cross paths with Jake and recognize him as his father again, and see if maybe Jake recognizes him.
I don’t think she’s hated Connie. Much talk of pairing her with Ric after their very first scenes together.. Now social media is rampant with these suggestions and rumors. I really haven’t seen much hate at all for her, which is a miracle considering! As of now, she’s only short-term. I think she’s going to set her sights on Nik after he busts her for charade. Just rumors and my opinion.

Rick scheme is starting out weak, he was dumb enough to let the guy impersonating jake in on what he’s trying to do with Hayden, why would he let this guy know so much? i would of hire the guy, told him we are shooting pics for a catalog for anything really and paid the guy a modeling fee, therefore theres no reason this guy should of know what rick is planning, this proves how dumb rick is, on top of that he shoots pic of this guy in carry’s hotel, really? so i’m interested how things will play out, i for one i’m glad with Rebecca Budig addition to the cast, hope she sticks around for a long time and gets involve with other characters eventually, but for now this story is not showing rick is the smartest gu;y here, he’s looking more desperate, and one more thing, can carly not save the day please? liz was suspicious enough on her own , we don’t need carly coming in and being the one who figures everything out, its really insulting to Liz and Jake to be dumb down so that Carly can look smart, and we all know they’ll add Sam to this story and i can see it coming here come Nancy Drew wannabe and she to will be the one to save the day, how depressing.
You’re right, Aria. Jake, himself, should be the one to dissenter his own past. As I said, TPTB are writing him as a dumb rooster; a prop, while the hens do the work. Is this how Jason managed his past life? I was under the impression he took any issue into his own hands, come what may.

I agree. I thought Rebecca was going to be casted as a plastic surgeon at the Shriners hospital and her and Nick would connect there. That would have given him someone to bounce things off of as a professional and they could start a friendship.

@Connie…unfortunately Nic has become a conniver and liar. He’s known for weeks Jake is Jason and hasn’t told him or Liz, Sam, Carly, Monica…anyone!…as he schemes to take ELQ. He’s really in no position to judge Rick…but he will.
I still believe that Nik has a good reason for keeping Jake’s identity hush-hush. I do not think that neither he nor Sloane is crooked. Maybe I’m too naive, but I don’t want Nik to turn into a bonafied Cassadine. He and Sloane need Jake as he is to aid them in catching bigger fish. I love Billy, so I don’t mind prolonging this storyline a bit….however, not to the point of exasperation.

Can it? Yes. Will it? For a while but in the end Ric will always fall on that sword…He is smart, devious, shockingly handsome, whitty, elegant, smooth, and a throw back to the Cary Grant area, and arguably the best actor on GH. Why they never have him win I will never understand but they don’t! So no he will not keep them apart… That being said I don’t believe for a second Lake/ Liason will last or that Jasam will either… My best guess sometime by the end of this year middle of next we will see Siam, Niz, and Scrubs… JMO

Besides how Rick has been written, I don’t think they use the talents of several others on a regular basis. From Tony as tedious, slovenly Fluke; Laura/Carly as mother-of-the-year shrew; Liz as the perennially never-can-make-it-work “nurse Jackie.” Even Alexis who is supposed to be a brilliant lawyer. And if they are going to have smart crime lords who run the East coast, why not use Sonny and Julian better. Sonny just rants and postures, and Julian seems to do nothing.
But we know the writers have it in them when they give actors something to work with, and they shine…Nicholas after Spenser’s accident, or Roger/Franco and Kiki when Kristen left, and Eva.
Add Anna/Fiona and Duke to the list of underused talent.
Her being apart of Ric’s scheme came to light WAY too soon….so i’m guessing her real “husband” is someone on the canvas, bc that part of the story came out too quick. I love RB and looking forward to this…she still should’ve been Greenlee Smythe though…..lol…..her real ex-hubby is in PC…lets take guesses as to who it is……

I assume you realize how apropos that quote by Sir Walter Scott is to this scheme Rick fabricated.
The quote is extracted from the epic poem MARMION. It was titled after its main protagonist, who falsely accused his nemesis in order to ‘steal’ his fiancée from him. So, GH’ writers are basically using that concept.
However, Su, the best part? MARMION is defeated…killed. And, the lovers were reunited.
Moral of the story? Those who deceive others, will get caught in their own web of lies.

It takes a while for new characters to catch on, especially if we know them from other soaps. Hayden is way to new. My two examples of mega talent that is just not clicking, so far is Michelle Stafford as Nina and Kelly Sullivan over on Y&R as Sage. So far both of those women’s new characters have bombed. Its not too late and I will be patient because I love them both!

Hayden said “Jake” was her husband at liz’s front door. But doesn’t he have another real, first name that she would have known since they were supposedly married? Or did I miss something?
Doesn’t surprise me Rick’s plan is unravelling. It may be quicker than usual for a soap, but maybe the writers have a reason, especially since Jake’s photo double is going to make himself a nuisance.
Frustration over the Fluke story. Please end. Talk about predictable. And I lost my appetite for scrambled eggs for a while. I’d hate to think I won’t miss Tony when he eventually goes to Amsterdam.
Wish GH hadn’t killed off Connie. Been watching Y&R and so far I think Kelly’s talent is being wasted there. Plus GH is sorely in need of some strong women. Connie started out a successful woman when she first came to Port Charles. She brought fashion and style with her, something else PC can use. Plus a nice break from all of the crime stories. Seems most of the other women/girls in PC seem to be less colorful, or falling in and out of love all of the time. Maybe Maxie should go to Julian and propose she help relaunch Crimson. She sure could use a job, and she has a flair for fashion.
Miss Jax as well. He could give the Quartermaines and Nicholas a run for their money.
Find Sam and Patrick just don’t seem to have that special spark. They almost act like an old married couple.
Of course this scheme will fail– but they have to extend revealing Jake as Jason until May sweeps, so this is a story arc should last about that long. I hope RB character’s Hayden will be connected to someone else in town, otherwise she will just be another big name soap actress brought in for a short stint. Right now she is Ron’s new toy to play with while other characters already established languished on the proverbial shelf, so fans should enjoy her while they can because on this show characters disappear as quickly as they appear.
I am hoping it doesn’t last too long. I am really enjoying Jake & Liz and man today they were smoking hot! There are a lot of holes in Rics plan, the major one being that Liz doesn’t love him anymore. He needs to move on and let her be happy. I do love Rebecca Budig though and wouldn’t mind seeing Hayden stick around, just not with Jake!

Buddig is a decent actress…I enjoyed her as Michelle Bauer, though I preferred Bethany Joei Lenz then Joei Lenz in that role. I don’t think that this plot will last. I am guessing a May sweeps ending. I thought Buddig was temporary on the show? If not maybe she can make Nikolas a little less dull!
Rebecca stormed onto the AMC stage like a whirlwind…captivating, she was.
Greelee and Leo shone together. That pairing was the IT couple for me. There will never be another Josh Duhamel and Rebecca Budig…both beautiful, passionate, and devilish…so good together…sigh!
One word BORING GH as is Fluke/Luke. Sorry I have watched GH forever and that means from the beginning, but these storylines just are either ridiculous or stretched out for so long they become BORING!
With such talented performers would be great if the writing equallied them.
Some contracts should add the following “please do not dumb down my character”.

Rick Lansing has always been a snake in the grass and will always be one as far as I am concern. Poor Elizabeth the writers keeps making her fall for that, how sad. I know what’s going to happen Rick’s scheme will be discovered sooner rather than later and lets face it should be because it is a weak scheme. Then Elizabeth and Jake will finally have their moments for two or three episodes and it will come out that he is Jason and Elizabeth will be hurt again and an entire new mess will start meaning he goes back to Sam and the mob; eventually when he gets his memory back. I personally do not consider him Jason I never have and probably never will. I d ont want him in the mob or with Sam he is an entirely different character in my opinion. They need to give him his own storyline. I am tired of Sam getting everything and Elizabeth always being on the back burner; But its GH so its to be expected. Poor Patrick he is just getting set up to be hurt again. They love to put all the pain on one or two people. I would not mine seeing Patrick with Sabrina or Elizabeth at some point. My first choice is Sabrina but t hey are g oing to put her with Michael at least for a while. I find that ridicules because Michael is so much younger than Sabrina. How stupid and the writers are getting crazier each year.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Carly and Lulu Make Plans to Rescue Their Children; Anna Looks Determined to Secure Her Freedom
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, the race is on! Can Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get to Rocco (Finn Carr) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in time to ensure their safety from Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)? Can Carly (Laura Wright) with the help of her brother, Lucas (Van Hansis) rescue Josslyn (Eden McCoy) from captivity at Wyndemere? These questions may be answered, plus the return of the one and only Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are on tap!
In the just released General Hospital spoilers video for the week of June 22-26, Lulu tells her mother, Laura (Genie Francis), “Dante and I have to get to Rocco before Cullum!” Meanwhile, Rocco (Finn Carr) looks angered and emotional as Britt walks through their cabin hideout. Does Rocco know his parents are on the way to find them, or has Cullum already tracked them down to the British Virgin Islands?
Back in Port Charles, Carly is informing Lucas that his niece, “is a WSB agent.” She knows Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is being held against her will at Wyndemere, and she has to find a way to get her out. Lucas agrees with Carly’s plan of, “We go in and we don’t leave without Josslyn!” Elsewhere, Josslyn is looking worried for her future as she is stuck in captivity thanks to Cassius, Cullum and Sidwell!

The final moments of the teaser promo reveal Anna in a psychiatric clinic in France. We have not seen her for months after Cullum, Sidwell and Pascal fed her hallucinogenics to make her believe her arch nemesis, Cesar Faison was alive!
Now, the doctors walk towards her hospital bed, where we see the super spy calmly knitting. Is Anna back to normal and playing everyone to get out of her predicament, or does she still remain deeply traumatized … or both?

Maurice Benard Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ Writers; Teases Upcoming Sonny Scenes with Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric
With the highly-anticipated returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on this week’s June 24 episode of General Hospital, Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) upcoming return on July 13, which also serves as the ABC daytime drama’s 16,000 episode, things are about to fire on all cylinders in the story, as noted today by series star, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
On Father’s Day, the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor and mental health activist took to his Instagram and expressed in a video that he has some unbelievable upcoming senes with the aforementioned Burton and Hughes. Add to that Nazneen Contractor (Justine Turner) and Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), where Benard gave credit where credit is due to the GH writing team, which is led by co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten..
In this video, Benard said, “I just want to get on here and say that I did some work with Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Rick Hearst, Nazneen Contractor, and they’re all just fantastic. Truly fantastic. But, I want to say the writing was just exceptional. It truly was. It was exceptional. So, thankful for that kind of writing. I know writers don’t get the credit a lot, but I just want to say to the General Hospital writing team, keep rolling!”

So now the question becomes, with a major tease like that, what is about to go down between Sonny, Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric? Will we finally get to the end of the line for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), as previously teased by the GH co-head writers? Will we learn what happened to Jason and Anna, fully? Will Justine and Sonny becomes closer or stop their liaisons? And what of Ric? Will he be true blue to his brother or double-cross him? There is a lot at stake as we move further into the summer and one that looks like it could be one of the more exciting ones in years!
FINOLA HUGHES CONFIRMED AMAZING SCENES WITH MAURICE BENARD
As a punctuation point to his video, Benard also shared this written message in the post: “I just did some wonderful scenes with Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Finola Hughes and Nazneen Contractor and and unbelievable writing, freaking amazing scenes that you will see in the near future on General Hospital.” In fact, Finola Hughes jumped in the post comment thread and responded, “I loved our scenes so much xxx”
Fans will most likely see all the scenes Benard referred to later in July, since GH tapes approximately six weeks ahead of air.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Announces Upcoming Release of His First Single, ‘If You Need Me’
In a surprise move, Daytime Emmy winner, Chad Duell (ex-Michael Corinthos, GH) is getting ready to unveil a new chapter of his career in music.
The former GH star, where he played the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for 15 years, has announced his new single, “If You Need Me” will drop on Friday, June 26. The single is now available for pre-order on Spotify and major music streaming platforms and is distributed by DistroKid.
Taking to his Instagram story over the weekend, to announce the pre-save of his new single, Chad expressed, “I’ll make a full post about what I’ve been up to and my music once it goes live next week, but you can pre-save my first single so it goes straight to your Spotify once it drops next week.”

SINCE LEAVING GENERAL HOSPITAL
Previously, since his departure from the ABC soap opera. Chad starred alongside Zach Mendez in the world premiere of of Yum Yum at Annapolis, a new play written by Bruce Reisman. Duell last appeared on General Hospital on the January 21, 2025 episode.
The part was recast with Rory Gibson who debuted as the new Michael in May of 2025 during the Nurses’ Ball episodes and who has remained in the role since that time.
In an interview earlier this year on The Able Show, Duell said on his decision to exit the soap opera, “I was blessed to be part of that (show) for as long as I have, but what happens sometimes is if you’re doing the same thing, especially in a creative field for such a long time, you can get a little burnt out in a way. It can make you a little depressed, so that’s kind of what happened. On top of that, I had other things going on in my life at the time. My father passed away recently and I just needed a reset. So, I stepped away. A lot of times you have to go through some stuff to really step into that next level. I needed to kind of feel uncomfortable.”
