Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) life took a dramatic turn on the Tuesday, March 3 episode of General Hospital, when they came upon an unconscious pregnant woman on the sidewalk. The woman’s named turns out to be Delilah and is being played by actress Lily Cardone.

From the get-go of this set of circumstances, it appears that Delilah will die and Brook Lynn and Chase will raise her unborn baby as their own, since they have been talking about adopting and starting a family of their own for months. However, this may not be as tidied up as we think!

Once Delilah is rushed to GH, where Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Lucas (Van Hansis) are attending to her, we learn she is 7 months pregnant and needs an emergency c-section or her baby will die. But, from the glances of the medical team, which also included Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), the life of the mother is clearly also on the line.

Making this all the more mysterious, the cameras revealed a tattoo on the inside of Delilah’s wrist, while she was holding hands with Brook Lynn during her painful contractions, which gave GH viewers pause. Is she from the “Dawn of Day” cult that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was in, led by the the nefarious Shiloh? Or, is this a markings of some other faction of it, or does the tattoo symbolize something else altogether?

Add to the fact that Delilah was evasive with the Britt and Chase and Brook Lynn about the circumstances that led her to be found on the street and rushed to the hospital. Who or what is she covering for? Stay tuned.

As for actress, Lily Cardone, prior to GH, she previously appeared in a recurring role as a young Sissy Spacek in the Amazon Prime’s Night Sky. She has also appeared on the TV series on ABC’s 9-1-1, and the Netflix series Bloodline.

So, what do you think will happen to Delilah? Will she die and the baby will end up with Chase and Brooklyn, but the mysterious tattoo means the father of the child could come after them, who may be in a cult? Could Willow get involved and actually help the young woman if she lives? Share you theories via the comment section below.

Seems obvious that the story here will be this poor woman will die, and BrookLynn & Chase will try to adopt her baby. A fact that will no doubt be complicated by the mess Chase made for himself when he tried to frame Mikey for shooting Dragon Chow Drew. Of course we know Chase wasn’t the one who planted Drew’s house key on Mikey’s keychain. But it certainly looks like he did. And that might get him kicked off the PCPD for real.

But what if there’s more to the baby story? The baby has to have a father, obviously. And in typical GH fashion, that father probably lives in Port Charles already. And may not even be aware yet that he’s got a baby on the way.

So who fits that description? Nathan. We still have yet to hear anything about his life during the 7 years he was “missing” and presumed to be dead. And he has no memory of that time. But it’s logical that he may have had a wife or girlfriend while living this other life. And given the timing, it’s possible that such a wife or girlfriend could have been in her first trimester of pregnancy when Nathan (or whatever name she knows him by) wrecked his pickup and disappeared from her life. Of course if Delilah dies in the hospital without even waking up, nobody will be around to tell this part of the story. At least not until the brain chip in Nathan’s head glitches back “on” and he remembers her.

Admittedly this is all 666% pure unholy speculation on my part. But I can’t think of anybody else in town who could be this baby’s daddy. And we don’t need another newbie showing up to claim the kid.

Do u think BrookLynn and Chase will sail off in the sunset with this baby?

Brook Lynn is too connected to the canvas. She won’t be departing. Rumors abound that Chase is out, but let’s see if they come true.

No, Chase is a jerk for putting Willow above his wife.

I think that the baby’s father is Curtis, because three times a charm.

It’s an interesting plot twist! Better than everyone being kidnapped on Y&R, which is just ludicrous.

Lol Yesss! I think Chase needs to be punished for being stupid knowing that he’s married to a wonderful woman why was he caring so much about Willow. And Willow is not that girl she is not felt like that and I think the storyline needs to end up with her ass in jail Chase fired and Brooklyn going back to Dante where she belongs.

I understand why some have negative opinions about Britt, but Kelly’s performance these past few episodes reminds us why she’s a daytime Emmy winner.

Love Britt❣️

Me too!

I think that Delilah is Skye Quartermaine’s daughter Lila. Remember that Skye had a daughter with Alcazar years ago and the name Lila is in the name Delilah. Plus she has red hair and so does Skye.

That would be an interesting spin on it. Though ironic that BrookLynn would then end up raising a cousin’s baby. Like her cousins raised Gio.

Doubt they are going there though, since they haven’t indicated any interest in bringing Skye back at all, and the attempts to bring Alcazar back (i.e. that “Pikeman” story from 2024) completely fell apart.

There’s no biological connection with Brook Lynn and Skye (an imitation Q). Fairly certain BLQ wouldn’t consider her family.

I thought they finally decided that Alan was her father, and her mother was Linda Dano’s character from one of those other ABC shows that never aired down here.

I do know that Tracy wouldn’t consider Skye family whether that was true or not. She always seemed annoyed that Luke & Skye got along so well.

It was discovered (might’ve been Tracy) that Rae lied. Skye’s bio dad was some rando that neither AMC nor GH fans knew. Alan ridiculously adopted Skye, who was well north of 40 at the time. Christopher’s a great actress, but Skye is an outlier we don’t need on the canvas.

That’s been way too long ago

Oh my gosh, please don’t let them bring Shiloh back. But at least if they can adopt this little baby between the quartermaine family and the police force they should be able to keep the baby safe.
And I just want some good for Chase and Brooklyn because I love this pairing so much.

OK, I have a great idea. We need to get this to the writers..
Chase had that antidote after he was poisoned by Peter August. Maybe that made him sterile but maybe it’s out of his system and now he will actually get Brooklyn pregnant.
what a surprise that would be
They’ll have to bring Finn back for them to figure out why he’s no longer sterile or some medical genius..
In the interm, of course they’ll raise the baby, I’m just hoping it’s not Shiloh that comes back as the father of that baby.
because they keep bringing back these people from the dead.‍♀️‍♀️

Shiloh’s not coming back. He’s on permanent dragon stable cleanup duty here in Hell.

The Friday, June 12 episode of General Hospital marked the last for Daytime Emmy winner, Kate Mansi as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. As previously reported, the character was accepted to medical school at UCLA in California, making the end of the run for Mansi who played Kristina for three years.

The decision to depart GH was all Mansi’s decision and as also previously reported, GH executive producer Frank Valentini had left the door open for a return down the line and is currently not planning on recasting the part.

In story, in her final episode, having already said goodbye on Thursday’s show to her parents, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina meets up with her siblings, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Michael (Rory Gibson). The three have a chat at the Metro Court Gardens.

SIBLING ADVICE

Before she leaves Port Charles, Kristina tells her brother and sister, she wants them to be there for each other, while each is managing their personal relationships: Molly with Cody (Josh Kelly) and Michael with Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Kristina thanked them for taking her to the airport and urged them to lean on each other while she was gone.

In her last scene, Kristina tells Molly and Michael right before they head for her flight, “I want each of you to be the person the other can call. OK? To show up for each other, no questions asked. Because that’s what you’ve been for me.”

KATE’S NEXT MOVE

Speaking with TV Insider, Mansi shared what she is up to next which has included accompanying her husband, Matt McInnis to Europe. Kate explained she had made the decision a few months back to exit GH. “I knew my contract was up in April and I wanted to give them the proper notice so that they could plan their future storytelling.” Kate added, “Given that my husband is working in Europe predominantly and I’ll be traveling so much, that’s what this next chapter of my life will be.”

Kate expressed that the news of her exit was hard to share with people, because she would feel sad when talking about it. Ultimately, the first to know were Nancy Lee Grahn, Kristen Vaganos, and Rory Gibson. She chose not to tell Maurice Benard, because she was so close to him in real-life, until they filmed their last episode together which aired yesterday.

There’s more! Kate gave a final tease that she has project in the works sharing, “I’m excited to have booked a short-term project in the fall that works within my schedule.” As to a future return to GH, Mansi doesn’t rule it out, “It’s Port Charles. Anything is possible.”

So, what did you think of Kate’s final scenes as Kristina with Sonny, Alexis, Molly and Michael? Do you hope Kate come back in a few years time? Weigh-in via the comment section. In case you missed it, you can catch the scenes where Kristina tells her parents she is leaving Port Charles below.
