GENERAL HOSPITAL: Darby Pops Up Onto The Scene & Ned Says Goodbye To Olivia!

Courtesy/ABC
On Monday’s episode of ABC’s General Hospital, former Miss Alabama USA, Jesica Ahlberg, showed up on the canvas as Darby – a sexy young gal who has hankering for Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
While Kiki (Hayley Erin) is getting sauced, Morgan tries to talk to her, but she wants no part of him. He takes a seat away from her having a drink of his own. Enter Darby, who spots Morgan and sits down at his table and the flirtation begins. When Molly (Haley Pullos) and TJ (Tequan Richmond) arrive, they meet up with Darby to go to a party in which Darby extends an invitation to Morgan.
At first, he doesn’t agree to go, but after he tries to talk to Kiki one more time and she resists, he takes Darby up on the invitation. Is this going to be Morgan’s new love interest? What do you think the point of Darby is to the Port Charles canvas? Is she connected to someone else?

Courtesy/ABC
Elsewhere, breaking up is hard to do, as Wally Kurth (Ned) popped up for a one day appearance to close the loop on the budding Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Ned romance and storyline, since Wally is now on contract at DAYS. In story, Olivia was going to propose to Ned, but before she can he breaks her heart, and says he can’t continue their relationship as long as she hides the truth from Julian (William deVry) that little baby Leo is the mobster’s bio-son. Ned says he found himself again through being with his daughter Brook Lynn and singing again, all thanks to Liv. They tell each other they love one another, but Ned ultimately leaves thus ending the storyline. What will Olivia do now?
So, what do you think of these two story beats that played out on yesterday’s GH? Are you intrigued? Not interested? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.
Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.
As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY
Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.
Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS
Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.
In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Courtesy/ABC
Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”
So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.

I’m not impressed with Darby, but I’ll see where it goes. I do think Hayley Erin has really improved as Kiki. I never really cared for the character even when Kristin Alderson played her, so I’m surprised that I even care what is happening to her but I do.
It was good to have closure on the Ned/Olivia pairing and Wally Kurth sure is HOT. I’m enjoying him on DOOL, but I’ll miss Ned a lot.
GH is holding my interest for the most part. Less Corinthos would be nice.
Oh, yeah, MBmom…..anytime I see any comment on ‘less Corinthos’, I cannot resist answering. Off with his head.
Ned and Olivia paring was bittersweet, but it needed to happen, I guess.
We do not know Darby yet.
Now Kiki is going to play a trick and have the snacks taste horrid.
Correction…parting, not pairing. Oh, what sweet sorrow!!
Couldn’t agree more that Haley Erin has turned in some great work of late. Kiki finally has a strong personality of her own and is not just some blank slate other characters write on. Also really loving the new “family” formed by Franco, Kiki and Nina with all it’s trials and tribulations. Seems like GH is working hard to establish stronger family units, given that Alexis and Julian just got a new home, the Corinthos clan is closing ranks, and Patrick and Sam are blending families.
Heartbroken by the Ned/Olivia break up but really happy DOOL allowed Wally to come back for closure
I liked the actress playing Darby but she seemed a bit too old to be a contemporary of Molly’s. She’s stunningly beautiful and I look forward to seeing her on my screen. The Olivia / Ned twist is obviously contrived due to the unavailability of Wally Kurth and, as such, it rings hollow and is unsatisfying. Long live GH!
Completely agree about the age difference between TJ & Molly, & Morgan & Darby. Darby looks like she’s a contemporary of Maxie & Lulu’s more than Molly’s classmate. Maybe she took like seven gap years between high school & college.
Ned was okay with lying about the baby dying and helping Liv convince Julian his baby was dead, but he is not okay with her pretending she adopted a baby—huh???? I get they had to find some reason to break those two apart but honestly they could have come up with a better excuse. Too bad Days always makes WK wear suits, he looked really good in jeans– As for Darby, too early to tell, but my first impression of the character was not positive. I don’t know why all soaps have such a difficult time writing for younger characters, most of all of them are dull as dirt, but I will give the story a chance to see where it goes.
I know, right, Mary SF? Lame excuse.
Furthermore where does Alexis get off trying to have Leo taken from his mother. I guess, not so surprising, since she, as Carly, is not mother of the century. Here we go again…TWO custody cases. What gall! There are a myriad of reasons Leo should stay put.
Speaking of Leo…he is such a cute, calm baby, but he does not look like either of them. Something’s off with this baby’s looks.
@CeeCee..hello Sweetness…
Leo looks like Carlos’s…Just saying.
Hi, Fanny, my love.
Right? Leo does look Hispanic….more like Sonny than Carlos. How is that possible? Olivia is fair to medium skinned and so is Julian. So, where does Leo get his coloring? He certainly does not look Italian. TPTB need to find another baby. Furthermore, Leo is supposed to be almost six months old. He does not look more than three months, at the most, to me. He should not even be wrapped in a blankie as a neonate any more. Any mother can say how a six-month old can pump his/her little legs energetically. This kid barely moves.
Oh, my, my….Fanny, I say….has Olivia been a naughty girl?
@CeeCee….Well, how else is Alexis going to provide a child for her much younger boyfriend? Not only is she too old to conceive, but probably even to adopt, and she sees Julian’s babylust as the writing on the wall! How I wish this latest plot twist would precipitate a pairing with Olivia. They make so much more sense as a couple, not just as Leo’s bio-parents, but as two highly-attractive, smoking hot individuals who are age-comparable. Perfect fit. Let the fireworks begin!
He looks as if he would be more like Dante and Valerie’s baby?
@Shay.
Well, Girl…tell me about it! Alexis is on a mission. Now, we are talking about a sane, intelligent woman who is head over heels in love with a mobster. She is definitely deluding herself if she thinks Julian has said bye-bye to a life of crime. Right. Sonny hides behind his ridiculous coffee importing company, or whatever-it-is. Julian hides behind what? His Art Gallery? Does Alexis think she will get extra ‘cuddles’ from Ju-Ju if she start a custody war?
I sound like a broken record, Shay, if I say so myself.
To add insult to injury, the writers are actually pushing Alexis to convince Julian to fight for custody of Leo. Now, I am not an attorney, but in what world would a judge take a baby from a perfectly good and capable mother and give him to Julian. Did Alexis and Carly have a tête-à-tête, giving each other pointers? This idiocy shouldn’t come up or be an issue. What will Alexis be alleging/contending? ….that Olivia went through great lengths to keep Leo from Julian? Any judge in his right mind would just give Olivia a slap on the wrist and a pat on the back, saying, “Golly good show”. Not real, not real, not real….I have to keep reminding myself, Shay, in order to keep my sanity. Imbecilic premise, that.
By the by, Shay….Fanny and I are questioning Leo’s ‘look’. He looks of mixed race to me. I ask how that is possible. LOL. Fanny thinks he looks like Carlos; I say he has Sonny’s coloring. I also said he looks like a neonate. The baby hasn’t aged much in almost six months. What say you? Later, bella.
@Timmm.
Yes, how right you are, Timmm. I couldn’t put my finger on it. TPTB certainly picked the wrong baby….but, as it often happens in soaps, there will be a brand new baby in a matter of weeks. Later.
@CeeCeeGirl….Oh yes, I concur with both Fanny and you on “Leo the Bambino”…..he almost looks as if he had a bit of a “topping off” of his tan on a beach in St. Tropez during his mama-imposed vacay away from Port Charles, as opposed to being stashed in, where was it…Bensonhurst??? LOL. Not sure what the showrunners were aiming for with with that particular casting choice of “neonate,” as you so aptly put it! Hmmmm….but on that same general topic, I recently opined that Sappy’s gonna have some splainin’ to do when her offspring likewise emerges upon delivery with an uncanny resemblance to its swarthy, hirsute pappy, Carrrrr-LOS! I added that The Sapster’s dubious paternity whopper will even have to surpass Britt’s supreme porky pie lie when she adamantly insisted that Asian lab dude extraordinaire Brad had sired her extremely pale, fair-haired son, BenRocco. I still roar with laughter when I recall how Dr. Westbourne proclaimed that one with a straight face! (Of course, I was moderated on that post….I am trying to state the notion a bit more delicately this time around in hopes that this one makes it online….) Having said that, I’ve always considered Alexis to be a total hypocrite, but this latest stunt of hers just proves it….she’s blowing the whistle on a mother who tried to protect her child in the exact same manner in which Ms. Davis did when Sonny Boy was her babydaddy, but since the non-custody of this little bundle of Jerome genes threatens her non-stop post-menopausal sexapalooza jolly with Julian, the ends justify the means! (Like I previously stated, how else could she obtain a baby for her much-younger lover?) It’s all really quite sick when you think about it….talk about a woman obsessed with her own physical gratification!!!!! Lastly, perhaps you see a likeness to Sonny in Leo because you actually have this secret thing for Mr. Corinthos???? You know, you really doth protest too much when it comes to your supposed disdain of the “Dimpled Don!!!” Okay, I’m just kidding, CeeCee, but I had to run that theory by you simply for the fun of it!!!! Haha!!! Later, belissima!
@Shay.
Hilarious, ShayGirl.
Hmmm. You got me thinking. Maybe, I do have a ‘thing’ for Sonny, ….ummm, subconsciously? Ha…NEVER! I suppose the “doth protest too much” is a legitimate statement, considering I talk about Sonny incessantly. I need to ponder this, Shay. Regardless, I could never be attracted to a man who thinks he’s too big for his britches. You know what I think? I think he should be given a mini role….very fitting, no? HaHa….Grazie per il complimento, bellissima te, cara.
Oooooooh! I am pleased as punch that my post to you made it this time around, CeeCee! (Thank you, Mr./Ms. Moderator!) Sometimes the witty thoughts just effortlessly flow like lava from a volcano and it is such a disappointment when they fail to be shared with like-minded souls—such as yourself! At any rate,I was most surely jesting you about Sonny….he is an utterly loathsome character and I know you have far better taste than that, CeeCeeGirl! It’s just that your ongoing antipathy for him is so very amusing that I simply wanted to get a rise out you regarding “Dimples!” LOL….Keep it coming with those well-worded barbs for the “Diminutive Don”….they definitely encompass your bailiwick for all things “Corinthos!” Per quanto riguarda il mio complimento? Prego, bella!
I groaned out loud when we were introduced to Darby. Not looking forward to those story lines. There’s already too many cast members.
Shes working for Paul to get info on the Corinthos…just a guess! And now that insipid Kiki is staying with insipid Nina, maybe later for sweeps 2016 they will finally learn they are mother and daughter!
Jimh.. hi.. I believe-
she was working to get into ELQ..
Her call was made a minute after Nik hired her to work for ELQ to tell; ”I’m In” ..
Love Ned and Olivia scenes 🙁 it was Awesome, but sad.. Loving my love in the afternoon again, GH 🙂
To be honest GH doesn’t really have a lot of young actors, so Darby does have a reason for her existent almost all the young characters are related and they all can’t screw each other. As for Olivia , I feel she’s run her course, what really is the point of Olivia anymore? Yes she’s funny, but not very bright, she can’t make up her mind if she want to let a thug be her baby daddy, I would left port Charles with Ned and stayed gone, shes got money and Ned had money so no good excuse.
So, she/Darby is the actress/model the former Miss Alabama USA..
OK– so what is doing on GH ?? lol
And–
Not good seeing one of the last Q’s exit..
((and to mention.. luv that Ron took that horrible Bronx accent away from Oliva, back when.. Ever since she is tolerable ..
Olivia’s secret is compelling ONLY because of the actress portraying her. Lisa Lociero is so amazing as Olivia. Gritty, savvy and classy at the same time. Her devotion to her children is amazing. I really like her character. Ned leaving is not a big deal to me. But watching Olivia grieve over losing him again was almost too much to bear for her. (and me as I watched her meltdown). The Darby story is of no importance at all. So a new girl for Morgan to , ummm how do I say this tactfully, hook up with? Who cares? Not one person. A tramp is always a tramp and that is definitely what Darby is coming off as. We don’t need another one. Kiki can drink her way to Lohanland and I won’t care. Her character is unlikable. The actress playing her comes off too harsh in her portrayal to the point where I don’t care what happens to that character. That is a sign of a bad actress. It’s way too one dimensional. Hopefully they move forward with this story point quickly. Same goes with the Molly chick. I mean seriously, she is so unlovable. I can’t believe she is a daughter of Alexis. Sam and Alexis are so great together but Molly and Alexis…yuck. Do us a favor and have Julian kill off Molly. She is a spoiled brat who is nice to no one, not even TJ. I can’t believe TJ is even into her. Again not impressed. But I am really happy with the direction the show is going. The only problem I can foresee is that when the Jason reveal is done where else can they go? We need something new to stir the embers. I love GH. Perfect cast for the most part. Great acting for the most part and just an overall fun experience all the time.
Since I am not a Kiki fan, the introduction of Darby into the young mix comes at a very good time. Kiki is bent on self-destruction and Morgan deserves better despite his recent actions. Kiki is a mess who needs Dr. Kevin’s immediate attention. Actually I hope the writers go ahead and realize fan speculation with a story which makes Kiki the daughter of Nina rather than Ava.
Molly has come a long way from the starry-eyed adolescent to the judgmental, unforgiving, brat. Genes will tell, and she definitely has her father’s genes. I find her relationship with TJ to be boring in the extreme. The actress and the character can manage a bigger, more dramatic storyline than Molly’s constant bitchiness at her mother’s lover and her constant propping up of TJ. Let her do something other than constantly run off at the mouth about TJ.
Hi, Engrady..
There is something to be said about the acting of a seventeen year old, comparatively speaking. Molly has grown up….somewhat. The actress is very good and beautiful. Haley/Molly is playing a College age young woman of possibly 19-21? This is all Haley can deliver. One cannot bleed a stone. She is just too young to play this role, and, it does show when she is placed next to these older players.
Morgan is detestable. Remember how he lied, connived and tricked Kiki into marrying him? Then, he sleeps with her mother/presumed aunt. In my opinion, Morgan deserves nothing less than castration and ostracization.
I know how everyone feels about Kiki ( Hayley Erin), I am not into her either, albeit I am warming up to her. Of course, there was a little resentment because I loved Kristen Alderson….but, I’m over it.
Nonetheless, Kiki has a good reason to act the arrogant, spoiled, wild child….her world has come to a halt. The person who professed to love her, to champion her, cheated on her. And, the woman who supposedly gave birth to her….the woman who would always protect her at all costs proved to be nothing more than an untrustworthy Succubus.
Lol, Engrady….I have always contented that Kiki is Nina’s. I thought I was the only one. I haven’t given up yet. How will either Nina or Kiki find this out? Oh, I don’t know….maybe Kiki gets into an accident and needs blood? ……or vice versa. This is like déjà-vu…….did I already say that? Forgive my repetitious nature…LOL. Good Night.
ANOTHER reason to hate Morgan! He gets to lock lips with a real hottie! He will bring her down to. He is a real cancer! Has anyone noticed his alleged bipolar symptoms have not acted up lately? He has not seen a doctor and he is not on meds. Did they scratch this story and just chalk up his behavior to being an azzhole? Anyway, Darby is too old to be hanging with Molly and T.J. They walked out of the Metro and she looked like their nanny! Just like the other day, Kristina and NuJoss were walking out of the chapel and they looked to be the same age! Lexi is a good actress but looks to young to be Kristina!
We could list a whole bunch of veterans GH has already lost this year and get sick to our stomachs but to me, Wally Kurth hurt the most. He is a great actor, charming and a Quartermaine! Him and Liv were pretty darn cool together. She will probably end up in a triangle with Jules and Alexis and DAYS gets to chomp on Wally Kurth sandwiches! Lucky , lucky, lucky!
So now were down to Tracy and Monica. Tracy is back burnered since Luke left and Monica must have been taken by Helena? Who knows. Her and Billy Miller shined in ONE scene and they dropped it like a hot potato! What happened to bringing the Quartermaines back! Thanks FRANK! You and your boy Ron lied!
They keep throwing Tony Geary, Maurice Bernard and for a little while Jane Elliot at us as potential Emmy nominees but I think in one scene with Billy, Leslie Charleston killed it. She deserves to be a Emmy winner like Margo Martindale was for a very small part on The Americans last year. Talk about an underrated actor. Tony Geary got praise no matter how he behaved or how stupid the performance was because it was loud and obnoxious. Monica needs to be brought back and allowed to be part of the Quartermaine family.
I agree, Leslie and Billy were phenomenal together. ONE scene! Why? Tony gets respect because he is a soap legend and the guy can act. Fluke turned out to be a bad story and Tony’s illness didnt help because the Fluke story drug so long but the black and white episode will be his reel and it will probably earn him another Emmy. Plus, he is retired and Hollywood likes to tip their hat. I dont miss Luke but I loved the character.
Yes, Lellingw.
There was a discussion, at length, I may add, what a far-reaching performance by both Leslie and Billy just in that one scene. But, the bosses are oblivious to anyone else; or so it seems. Why else are they resuscitating the “mobster” in Sonny? They should concentrate on cleaning him up…scrub the grease off his head and face before evil rises its ugly head again. Yuck!! If all that posturing and strutting, even from his wheelchair, was meant to impress us….that he’ DA MAN, did not work for me. I still liken him to a snake in the grass. Better yet, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. At least, a snake will attack without much fuss or pretense.
I sincerely hope Tony, as much as I admire his acting skill, does not get, yet, another Emmy. There are many waiting in the sidelines/periphery of all the splendor that is Tony. And, Sonny? He will not reign, King….or else! LOL.
Well, at least Tony’s would be well-deserved, if he does win. Golly Gee, even as Fluke, he outdid himself. Geary took that role and ran with it. That’s something to be admired, considering his health issues and the pain he must have endured. Anything to do with the spine causes tremendous pain. But, Sonny? Gimme a break PTB. I still cannot fathom how this guy is still forced upon the viewer as Vito Corleone, the mobster, and Rodolfo Valentino, the lover. Ratz!!!!
lol .. Ron never made a promise, just what he’d like to do.
It is NOT in Ron’s job to hire or fire.. That is FV and ABC..
Ron tried.. he got Ned back but Wally was freelancing between soaps most likely looking for the best deal, he chose Days, not by Ron’s doing he did not have power to offer Wally anything.
AJ whoever wanted to be back with BB and made deals with BB peoples that GH/ABC did know about and he just up and left/said I’m leaving ahaaa so Ron wrote him out, smacked him back dead! lol
He tried to make Michael a Q= fail, didn’t work well.
Ron brought in a quartermaine, Dillon to keep a couple of Q’s alive. And it was a good thing it was OK’d and casted or Dillon would not be.
The Q’s are so far gone there is no hope to revive them.
A pity, a shame, but it what it is..
Hope they keep trying to get Q’s back on my screen, but………………. 🙁
I didnt mention Dillon because he is a non-factor! The actor is okay. They didnt age him right. You cannot be a filmmaker and live in Port Charles. I laugh when the kids grow up in PC and “Go to College!” That means one of two things, they are either leaving the show or going to PCU which is never shown! Its a waste of time! You can be in the medical field, own a restaurant, be a cop or mobster, thats it! That story they have with his movie on the Haunted Star is horrible! It wastes the talents of Maxie and exposes the lack of talent of Dillon and Lulu!
Hi, susu.
Tell me, Girl…are you perchance, Mrs. Ron? You seem to know his mind so well. Let’s talk. Lol.
Ned is leaving but we’re stuck with a new character played by an actress who cannot act to save her life?
She’s so bad she makes Bryan Craig look like Lawrence Olivier .
But she sure is pretty!
Hilarious! And true!
General Hospital values. Audience is stupid, shallow and of no importance until the ratings go down.
lol.. Lellingw
you are part of the ”audience” hmm you’re calling yourself ”stupid, shallow and of no importance” .. ahaa!
@su.
No Su. I’m pretty sure Lellingw means this is how TPTB see us, the audience…….stupid and shallow. In other words we are of no consequence until the ratings say otherwise.
Thanks, CeCe. Of course that is what I meant. The audience doesn’t mean anything until it hits their bottom line and even then only some of us count. Broadcast survives only because cable is so expensive. If the costs were lowered, broadcast would be out on its behind. Terrible model for television show creation.
Morgan is to GH what Summer is to Y&R! I cringe everytime he appears on the screen!
So true. lol.
And once again substance is sacrificed for looks on a soap. Darby has zero chemistry with Morgan or the teen set. She looks a lot older than they do, and nobody cares about the other three why are we adding another one?
I wish Wally wasn’t leaving, I watch both GH and DOOL, and the Ned character is so much better. Hate to see the Q’s downsizing again. They can’t replace Edward, but how about bringing on a GOOD actor to play his long lost brother or something to lead the family along side Tracy, give him a wife and daughter/son and reignite the Qs
Not sure Jesica can act or if GH needs any more new characters on the canvas at this point, but boy is she stunningly gorgeous. Nothing wrong with some young eye candy on a soap in the afternoon. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes.
Hi, Adam.
Thank you for NOT saying Jesica cannot act. It just befuddles the mind how anyone can automatically give a review on this girl’s acting when she’s only been on for a whole second. Young actors/actresses need to start somewhere. And, it’s great to see vets on our screen…but, realistically, many of these actors/actresses are older and are at a time in their lives where they do not want to do it any longer. This is what makes the world go ’round. Young people need work; so why not? So what if she is Miss Alabama or Miss USA or whatever….it does not mean she can’t act. Look at Vanessa Williams!!
And, yes, her looks are beyond gorgeous. But, it seems that this is always been the crux of the matter……that is; a beautiful girl’s head is empty of anything else but lipsticks, mascara and clothes….the typical stereotype. It’s kind of old, right? As a female with a well-functioning brain, the compartamentalizing is too close to home. How dare I use my brain and think? This mentality should have made an exit with the Middle Ages. A woman can strut her stuff; her God-given assets, and still be intelligent.
Let’s all watch her for a few weeks, give her a chance , lest we lose all sense of reasoning….. then, I’ll be the first to say yea or nay. Personally, I am tired of looking at no-lips Dillon every day….he and his stupid idea of a movie in tiny-dot-on-the-map that is Port Charles. I love Maxie, but lately all I hear is that nasally, whiny complaining making painful contact with my ear drums. Then, there’s Lulu with stars in her eyes, floating in sit; well, actually…no comment. These women should get a life. Shame on the writers for making them seem to hang on to the men’s coat-tails for every little thing. Ggrrr!!
This movie idea is just too ridiculous to even contemplate. Who’s interested in a run-of-the-mill PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED, overly used concept ? Later.
GH has this knack for hiring young woman with zero acting ability. There’s nothing special about her looks, so what’s the catch GH? GH should focus on the actors already established on the show and stop putting talented actors on recurring status.
Oh, Lordy, Lord. She is stunning. She has perfect features. So sorry, penny, the last thing I want to do is be rude, but, she has not been on the show nary an entire episode. How can we judge?
And, she is a real beauty….I say this without resentment because I am secure in my own skin. Nothing special about her looks? That is your opinion and entitled to it. I see something completely different.
There must be a reason why she joined the cast. I bet it’ll make more sense than bringing Dillon on stage. What’s his purpose? I thought he’d go headlong into getting ELQ back, but, no!!….he’s making a movie; of all things. This storyline is so interesting, it reels me right in. NOT!
I hear you, but on this board I’ve seen people judge new characters on just photo’s alone. You absolutely have the right to your inspection of her, but I don’t see it. If she sticks around long enough maybe she will grow on me, but for now, meh.
@Penny.
You know what I appreciate about people such as you, penny? The fact that we can discuss our opinions, whether we agree with each other or not, in a respectful and adult manner. Thank you.
You are right when you say she may possibly grow on those who are not into her right now. Hey, one never knows, she may surprise all of us. Lol.
I like all the characters that almost everyone that’s posted so far complained about. I LIKE Bryan Craig and his portrayal of Morgan. I think he’s a very emotive actor, good looking if not in the classical sense snd I find his character as the deeply feeling, passionate, wounded Morgan complex and dynamic.
I also like Kiki. I think Erin? Is that her name? Well anyway, the actress to be beautiful and quite convincing. I love her relationship with Franco and I hope that this new budding warming up of Kiki to Nina continues, whether or not she’s her real biological mom. I like the three of them as a family.
Franco. Roger is killing it! They’ve matured him, wrapped him up in a compassionate, protective nature and I find him very likable and sincere. Love Nina and Franco together and I’m loving Nina’s vultnerability as she tries to find normal.
Very disappointed in the brief Ned return. Ned turning his back on Olivia so abruptly and for the reason he gave is totally out of character. Ned would never have done that. He’d want to protect the baby from Julian as he did in the beginning…I doubt he’d be so disturbed by Olivia’s decision to hide Leio’s identity. He’s seen and participated in far worse as a Quartermaine. And the way he left? No emotion…almost cavalierely. Not Ned. Must’ve been one of those masked men…or that’s how they should explain it!
Too much is going on to comment on the wrong goings at GH, but in keeping on the subject of cute Leo– that adorable child looks African American- even Dante isn’t that olive toned 😉
Leo looks African American to me (mixed)
