The residents of Port Charles came together this past weekend with their adoring and passionate fans from all over the world to celebrate the 50th anniversary of General Hospital, with a stellar line-up of separate cast member events, the Kickoff reception on Thursday, the Main Cast Luncheon on Saturday, and the blast from the past, Past Cast Stars reunion event on Sunday.
Many of your favorites showed up for the main event on Saturday including: Jason Thompson, Blake Gibbons, Bradford Anderson, Brandon Barash, Kirsten Storms, Teresa Castillo, Kelly Thiebaud, Parry Shen, Bryan Craig, Chad Duell, Kristen Alderson, Drew Cheetwood, Emma Samms, Kathleen Gati, Jimmy Deshler, Haley Pullos, John J. York, Lynn Herring, Michael Easton, Rebecca Herbst, Robin Mattson, Samantha Logan, Kin Shriner, Lisa LoCicero, Tequan Richmond, Laura Wright and more!
After the arrivals of the cast, General Hospital fans were delighted to see the contingent from the ABC soap as they were announced one by one to their screaming fans, and then took part in a fun Q&A hosted once again this year by John. J. York with an assist by Bradford Anderson. Anderson roamed around the room to get fans to chime in on their thoughts and ask questions of their favorite stars.
A late, yet great, arrival to the proceedings was General Hospital executive producer, Frank Valentini who joined the cast on stage and made a very special ‘thank you’ on behalf of everyone for the audiences continued support of GH, and to relay that there is some exciting moments ahead in the months to come on upcoming episodes. Following the ending of the Q&A, the stars manned their stations as they took time to sign autographs to an excited line-up of fans. Upon inspection, we actually think Michael Easton (Silas Clay, pictured here) wins the award for longest line!
Now after the jump, view just some of the images from the GH Main Event arrivals. Remember to view the gallery you can either view as a slideshow, or to go to the next group of images hit the NEXT GROUP icon to the left of the + sign! Let us know what you favorite part of GHFCW 2013 was if you attended? And if you were not able to attend, who would you most want to meet in person up close and personal?
WoW!!! Everyone looks so beautiful!!!! Thx fir sharing 🙂
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS I LOVE ALL THE ACTORS, KEEP UP THE GREAT STORIES,ALWAYS KEEP US IN SUSPENCE.LOVE IT ALL AND IVE BEEN WATCHING FOR 40YEARS BOTH GH AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
I’d never been to a fan event before and was blown away by my first GHFCW. I met so many of the actors, Frank Valentini, and some amazing fellow fans. When lines were short, I got to have actual conversations with some of them, Parry Shen you rock!! The actors could not have been nicer, even at the events that went into the wee hours (Jason Thompson and Dominic Zamprogna stayed until almost 2am to make sure the last of us in line at their individual event got to meet them and still were smiling and thanked us for coming; even apologizing for the wait). We’d have waited longer guys, you were worth it! As soon as I pay off this trip, I’m going to start saving for next years GHFCW!
That’s interesting…I was continually reading on twitter that John Reilly (aka Sean Donely) had the longest line!
I think I read that John Reilly may have had the longest line at the past cast fan event.
That you for posting the pictures and confirming the longest line issue. It really doesn’t matter to me because I would still like Michael Easton if he had the shortest line but some hateful fans are always tweeting the same nonsense that no one wants Michael Easton on the show simply because they don’t like him. Glad to know that alot of the fans were happy he was there. Granted they don’t represent all of GH fans but they do represent a sampling. If a large percentage of all of the GH fans at the fan club weekend are his fans then more than likely a large percentage of all GH fans enjoy him on the show as well. I know I do!
I am in love with Michael Easton and have been for years. I know what you mean about what the horrible things people are saying. I also love GH no matter what. Frank and Ron are it for me and no I am not related. I have enjoyed watching their talent for many years. Really horrible some of the things that people are saying. I am enjoying the heck out of myself just watching.
I would be glad to meet any of them.
Thank you Michael!!! Great pics! The best cast! The best show!!!
I have never been but would like to go sometime! I would love to meet Laura Wright, Kirsten Storms, Bradford Anderson, Jane Elliot, Finola Hughes, John York, Tony Geary, Jason Thompson, Tyler Christpher, and Carolyn Hennessy!!! Actually I would love to meet any and all!!
Thanks again Michael!!!
I would like to meet up close is Michael Easton, Jason Thompson,Robin Mattson,Lynn Herring Etc. If I couldn’t be there Michael Easton would be my first choice to meet up close.
I know I couldn’t be there… Michael Easton !
And I would like to meet Janet Elliot(Tracy). I get a kick out of her! Such a good actress!
Miss seeing one of the best actresses Kimberly McCullough. Patrick needs Robin and JT and Kimberly are amazing together . You cannot manufacture their chemistry. FCW not the same anymore and I want the real GH back not FV cheap version. Everything is so cheap and horrible writers from all soaps that went off the air is not a good thing.
I grew up watching GH with my mom ( may she rest in peace ) and til the day she passed away this was her favorite soap…Now Im still watching and it is getting better and better everyday…She would be proud to see that the show is still a big hit…Keep up the good work everyone. 🙂

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.
Take a look at the official GH spoilers for the week below.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
