GENERAL HOSPITAL: Fluke Reveals Plans For All Of Luke Spencer's Loved Ones! Did Shawn and Jordan Dig Up Bill Eckert?

General Hospital is playing up its unique brand and pace of its storytelling on the daytime drama landscape in a new promo entitled: “Forget Finales”.
During a sequence of upcoming scenes from the show, the voice-over announce relates: “We don’t do finales, the GH action just keeps coming! Five-tastic days a week! The thrill ride starts now. General Hospital this week on ABC!”
Meanwhile in the promo, Fluke (Anthony Geary) is seen in front of a huge clock, uttering the words “Tick Tock!” This comes after Friday’s episode where Fluke tells Luke he has plans for Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) , Tracy (Jane Elliot), Lucas (Ryan Carnes), Lulu (Emme Rylan) and all of his loved ones aboard the Haunted Star! And this is juxtaposed with the action involving Shawn (Sean Blakemore) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine)! Shawn has just opened the casket in the cemetery of the believed-to-be-dead Bill Eckert! When he opens the coffin, the episode fades to black!

‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric
General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing, during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).
On last week’s episodes of GH, Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door, he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned.
Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT
Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where Dante and Elizabeth previously, recalling, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, ‘Well, so much for that!'”
Fast-forward to early 2025 and as Zamprogna remembered it, “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said, ‘We’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth,’ My internal monologue is going, ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is … or not.”
Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprogna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric … and a big fan base with with Jason … and you know, you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES
In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is 100% down for. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.”
Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit, The buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other, and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect: Ric, Sonny, Lulu. There’s so much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)
At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Admits That He Didn’t Expect the Role of Michael Corinthos to be Recast, and Would Consider Working on Another Soap (Exclusive)
Chad Duell, the Daytime Emmy-winning actor, who stepped away from the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, opened up about: his previous decision to leave the series after nearly 15 years, where’s he’s at now after time away from the demands of a daytime soap opera, and took a stroll down memory lane with some of Michael’s most-acclaimed storyline during his run, during a livestream chat on August 19 on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel.
Viewers last saw Duell on-screen as Michael in January of 2025, and with his successor in the role, Rory Gibson making his debut at the GH Nurses’ Ball in episodes that aired later in May. It was clear that during the conversation, Chad was a bit surprised that the GH brass decided to recast him when he thought he was just taking some much needed time off.
Burn-out of the daily grind of being on a soap was definitely a part of Chad’s decision to take a break. Duell explained “People know when you’re doing something for so long or your character is kind of in the same place for so long or doing the same stuff over and over again, you do get a a little burnt out, you get a little stiff, stale, a little stiff at times. I didn’t want that to be any sort of lasting impression. I have 15 years of a body of work of I’ve done on that show, which is fantastic.”

WHILE CHAD WAS AWAY GH RECAST MICHAEL CORINTHOS WITH RORY GIBSON
Chad shared, his mindset when leaving GH was, “I’m taking some time away, we’ll see what happens.” Then he added, “Obviously, they decided to go in a different direction with Michael when I was gone. I didn’t think they were going to bring somebody back in my place. But you know, it’s the business. You never know what can happen.”
Duell also shared he has not watched a single episode of General Hospital since he left the series, but now feels he reenergized following the loss of his father and stepping away from the GH, “I’m in a place now mentally, where I’m ready to sink my teeth into it again.”

Even though he is no longer Michael on GH, Chad was very happy with his final storyline where Michael was set on fire when a bomb exploded at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. “It was fun to put him in a dangerous situation, because I was wanting Michael to be in something scary instead of trying to be a hero character or just things happening around him, but to be the center point of tragedy happening to him. (I always saw) Michael as the heart of the (Corinthos) family.”
When Michael was badly burned the show chose not burn his face, which normally a soap does when they are recasting role and switching actors. Chad weighed-in, “They didn’t burn my face because I told Frank Valentini (EP, GH) I’m willing to come back. It was just a little bit of a break. So, I assumed that if they would have burned my face, they could have brought somebody back looking different than me… if that’s what their plan was.”

MEMORABLE MICHAEL STORYLINES
One of Chad’s most memorable performances was the in the storyline of Michael’s rape while he was sentenced to prison in 2010 and the confession of it in 2011. “It was so well-written and I was very nervous,” recalled Chad. “When I get really nervous about something, it ends up being really good when I do it, because it just means I care a lot about it”
“I have to put a lot of effort and work into it, and I really want it to be good. I was working with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Steve Burton (Jason) a lot during those scenes, and Laura Wright (Carly). It was great working with Steve and Dominic, especially, during that storyline.
A NEW SOAP ROLE FOR CHAD?
As to a future soap opera role, Chad is open to the idea and would love to jump back in to a juicy role, “I know people over at The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. They know that if they’re interested, I would love to come in for a screen test or something, and they can see what I’m doing.”

I’m guessing the body in the coffin will be Luke and Bobbie’s sister Patricia and “Fluke” will be revealed to be Bill Eckert.

I’m thinking Fluke is Bill who is actually Luke’s twin and not cousin. Visiting the house… Talking about sins of the father… Why else would he look at the height growth marks on the door and get so upset? He’s angry about getting sent away and wants to get back at everyone in the family.
I would love for “Fluke” to be Valentine Cassadine the illegitimate son of Mikos that Helena, the psycho witch, is so afraid of. It would be fun to watch her cower in terror for once.
I said this before… I shall say it again. Fluke is a hybrid….a little bit of Victor, a little bit of Helena, a little bit of Luke and a little bit of Bill. Now, all we need to do is figure out where Dr. Frankenstein is…LOL.
In all seriousness, I am really confused. I think it’s Victor….then when I see Fluke’s dander get in a twist about Bill; how Fluke defends him….how he protects Bill. Well, then I think Fluke is Bill. I keep switching back and forth.
My husband believes that the fluke luke is really patricia who helena has been working with that would explain why Fluke is so hateful to bobby and not caring about any of the family maybe she had sex change to take over lukes life to take what should have been hers because none of them went looking for her when she dissapeared years ago
My guess is that Fluke is planning to blow up Luke’s entire family. Kewl. Boom!

I just want Fluke to take a bus/train or plane out of Port Charles and take Helena with him! No offense to Constance Towers. She is a hoot, but I am also tired of her brainwashing everyone!

This sweeps will rock as much if not more than the last sweeps, for GH!
and– the great Anthony’s portrayal of both Luke and Fluke is soap history/never forgotten.. Only works for Tony ”outstanding and BRAVO!!

All these threats of violence and gun waving on GH is just silly. I feel no suspense whatsoever. 99% of the time nobody is killed or dies. Like when Jake/Jason was in the bedroom pointing a gun at Sam and Patrick. Does the writer want us to believe he might really kill them? I sure didn’t. Now the afterstory with Jake/Jason stealing Sam’s whatever it was then ending up in the hospital and Carly finding the gear in his bag he knows nothing about, i’m fine with that part of the story. It’s the threats of guns and violence in the story that got me to that point I don’t find believable. Give me my Y&R anyday.

Considering we only see the supposed real luke tied up in basement when hes in scenes with Fluke & not just by himself trying to escape leads me to believe fluke is really luke who has split personality or has had some kind of breakdown?Dont know if Luke’s missing sister will fit into this storyline but would love to see Kim Zimmer or Erica Slezak play Luke & Bobby’s sister.

@Patrick….Johnny Z has made quite the splash upon his release from Pentonville…I’ve been loving BB’s return engagement to Port Charles. He’s been all-around excellent in scenes featuring his past associates….my particular favorite was with Maxie….aka, Barash’s real-life wife, KS….their sweet “Harper” moment was beyond precious!!! Just a great big awwww…..I love those special little “insider” touches when the writers add them to the scripts.
Johnny and Maxie. They were great together. I just could have listened to their exchange forever. So cute, so sweet, such comfort. I wish we could see more of that. It was such a pleasure to witness such easy banter for once. No antagonistic remarks…Ahhhh.

The real Luke is boring. Think about it, he drinks, he mooches of the Q’s and he is a horrible father who goes on extended ‘Missions.” I love Fluke. He has balls! You never know what he is going to do next.
You do have a point, but they have made the real Luke rather limp after being locked-up for a year. Wouldn’t the real Luke be able to escape, instead of sitting tied to that chair in his stink for months?
I don’t mind Luke/Anthony. I just get the weebie-jeebies when I look at/in his eyes.
He is a seasoned, phenomenal actor….one of soapland’ s best. But, his eyes are creepy and eerie…whether in the Fluke mask or not.

I am hoping there is a unique and unexpected twist to this story. If there really is 2 Luke’s it is odd the real Luke despite being drugged has not tried to break free. If this is a Luke DID story I would be disappointed that Luke/Fluke would be so homicidal especially to Bobbie & Lulu. Plus, unless I missed it I don’t recall Luke having issues before Fluke came on the scene so what was the trigger for the breakdown? I would prefer Fluke is Bill Eckert who was forced into the witness protection program and is angry the Spencer family ignored his memory and kids.
Fluke is really Luke…the coffin is empty because Helene had Bills body removed a long time ago…Helene is really Patricia…nothing will seriously happen to Luke’s loved ones…LuLu will probably end up missing, suffers amnesia, Johnny finds her and convinces her that she is his wife…Bobbi will get a few scratches and Dr.Lucas takes care of her boo boo’s…Fluke will remain Fluke and Tracy who is blinded will still think he is Luke…No, she didnt litterally become blinded…Tracy is blinded by love…lol
Whatever they are going to do they need to hurry and close this Fluke stuff getting tired of watching it. It’s boring and to keep bringing Helena back from the dead is boring too, I’ve been watching GH since 1963 when it first started and it has never taken this long to end an episode.

I think Luke was brainwashed at miscavage under Helena’s orders. She and Luke always had a hate/hate cat and mouse game which escalated. I think he’s brain fried…if Luke were really in the basement she’d go down there to taunt him. I’m betting that’s it….regardless, Tony Geary is playing the dual roles to perfection.
The only wrinkle in that theory is Julian has stated many a time he first met, and began working for Fluke while in the witness protection program, long before the Miscavage incident, which means if he was brainwashed it had to be a long time ago. But I agree whatever is going on in the end Tony Geary is acting his you know what off.
What if all those years ago Luke was really the one shot, not Bill Eckert like everyone thought. …and Bill Eckert stole his life. Luke was revived and put into witness protection…is now out and back to reclaim his life. He is a womanizer…Luke was a rapist. Maybe….just maybe…they’re rewriting history and this is going to be the ultimate twist!
@Rebecca – That would be one ballsy rewrite of history. That would mean it was Eckert who raised Lulu & Lucky; who tried to rehabilitate Laura; who married Tracy several times; and who ran over Jake. I’m not against it. It just would be INSANE! I almost hope they do that.
Interesting theories…especially why Helena doesn’t visit Luke in basement. And maybe something about being in witness protection. It was about that time the Luke of Luke/Laura/adventure and fun ended, and we started to get a boring Luke, aka Bill Eckhart. But I don’t consider Luke of old a rapist. Yes he did rape Laura, and it was awful, but I would rather think it was a one-time madness.
It would be the ultimate rewrite and they may not want to mess around with the history…but it would explain why he knows everything about Luke’s life…and would avoid the backlash when everyone feels letdown that it wasn’t more than the obvious. The only thing that wouldn’t make sense is his ability to kill his family…unless he suffered a total break from reality or it’s more oh Helena’s machinations…
I have been watching since I was 13. I am now 37. I always heard about L and L so I watched their return. The storyline that kept me was Stone and Robin. I loved the show up until about 2008 and then it grated on my nerves. I am glad I stuck with it because since Eon and Frank took it over I am excited to watch again. It can be campy but I love Dark Shadows so camp is fun to me! So live GH!!!
Wondering if Victor Cassedine is Fluke? With Helena’s jealousy over Tracy I am beginning to think he is the culprit.
That was a strange reaction on Helena’s part….I noticed it, too, and it almost made me think that Fluke could be her late husband, Mikkos. That’s the problem with this storyline….inconsistent little moments are tossed into this scenario which make you go, wait a minute….that sounds like Stephan, or this one, or that one. I realize it is purely intentional to make us think—and to throw us off—but it’s truly become infuriating. Enough with the teasing….time to reveal the big truth, once and for all.

On a different topic, anyone have ideas about how Sonny, Julian, and Ava will eventually be released from prison. How can the show go on with these main characters in prison?
The best way for Sonny to be free is we find out AJ isn’t really dead, which means Sonny can’t be in jail for murdering a man who is still alive. Julian can get out since he never killed the man he confessed to killing and it shouldn’t be too hard to prove he is innocent and released. Ava — the only to get Ava off is we find out someone else came by after she left and they deliver the fatal shot to Connie—not Ava, so the point being when they want to get them out of the big house they will.
How would they do that, Mary? I distinctly remember, AJ’s spirit climbing the mansion’s steps into the light with his dead ancestors. Now, I’m second guessing myself, and at the same time, I tell myself…”It’s GH…everything and anything is possible”.

There could be new evidentiary developments where something criminal on the part of the judge is being held over his/her head….or the governor’s head. The latter has the power to pardon anyone within his/her jurisdiction, I believe. I am sure TPTB will think of something. Whatever it is will be shoved down our throats and there will be nothing for us to do but accept it.
The only other solution would be, as Mary suggests. Isn’t Julian in jail of his own volition?…..to protect himself from Fluke? This is something else that has me confused. Isn’t Julian worried that Fluke will target Julian’s family? Who is there to protect his loved ones?
Would it be possible for Connie to still be alive with amnesia or being held prisoner somewhere by one of Sonny’s enemies?
Actually, if Anna is found to be guilty of corruption, ALL of the PCPD’s past cases could become suspect & ALL the people who were convicted (or even plead guilty) under her watch could petition for retrials & be released in the interim, couldn’t they?

Well whatever they do I hope it means the Haunted Star is blown to kingdom come– I don’t know why Lulu is so invested in the boat, she is rarely ever there, I’ve never see any customers, and since I’ve been watching the show only uses the set when there is some kind of big showdown which usually ends in a shooting of some sort.
But I shouldn’t be surprised there are never any customers because who would want to go on that boat with the number of people who were shot and killed on it? It doesn’t make for a romantic evening, unless you are Nathan and Maxine who shared their first over a corpse. So Fluke please blow the thing up and lets move on.

Fact One: He comments every time he goes to the basement it stinks. Fact two: no one has ever witnessed the two together. Solution Dante will discover a dead body sitting in a chair in the basement. Think Norman Bates it has been Luke all along. The grave will be empty and Bill Eckert is the decomposed body in the basement. I just think RC has to at this point get a major pay off so it has to be something wild and crazy!

Interesting Norman Bates idea. That would make me think this is a deranged, real Luke, altered by Helena’s experiments when held captive by her, and now programmed like Jake/Jason. She just brought forward the horrible memories real Luke experienced in the basement at the hands of his father, with the baseball bat? And he’s acting out with a replica. So the stink is a dead body. But I can’t reconcile even real, deranged Luke wanting to kill his beloved Bobbie or Lulu. Oh well, GH writers bring it on.
I really love this theory. If it were done right, it could be worth waiting for the story to play out. I’m ready for the reveal.

CeeCee….I haven’t been a Y&R fan in years….I’ve just occasionally peered in on “new Adam” since JH took over the role. I loved him on Revenge…so I’m glad he is being well-accepted in this recast….but I still wish he were on GH!
Well since Sonny’s deal was for murder, if AJ was still alive he would still be let out for that charge, then it would be up to the DA to decide whether he would want to go for another trail on attempted murder charges– which Sonny wouldn’t plead guilty to since Carly has gotten her immunity and the evidence against him would disappear I bet. And the same with Ava, yes she shot Connie, but if someone else came in after ward shot her again and that was the fatal wound not Ava’s– she would be released on the charge she was convicted on and then they would need to do another trail on the charge of attempted murder.
I don’t know if that is the route they would take, but eventually these people are going to get out of jail at some point, for some reason. I guess deep down I haven’t given up hope that Monica faked AJ’s death and we will find out he is still alive despite the stair climb to heaven.

I do. I’d be willing to suspend my disbelief even further to have AJ back. Still, unfortunately even in the furthest realm of possibilities we still wouldn’t have Sean Kanan back…and Billy Warlock looks nothing like Michael…but I could think of a few actors who could fit the bill should the seemingly not happening happen.
If it turned out that Ava and Sonny were framed and someone was wearing an Ava or Sonny mask and the real Ava and Sonny (can’t believe I am having to talk like this) are actually in jail, then they would probably be exonerated of their crimes and the jail time would count as time served (like Linda said). I really do not see any other way out of this situation unless you make the two innocent – or go from ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK to PRISON BREAK and finally THE FUGITIVE.
I would still like to believe that the majority of the events that happened last year will turn out to be a dream (like DALLAS). It would solve so much nonsense that was written.

I have a ton of episodes on my DVR that I have yet to watch-no desire. I’m so disappointed in General Hospital. It’s too cartoonish and outlandish. I remember that in the 80’s there was the “freezing of the world,” Casey the Alien, etc.-which I didn’t care to watch either. I miss the Claire Labine era-of the Quartermaine’s, L&B Records, Brenda, Sonny, Ned, Lois, etc. I miss having a supercouple to root for, “cliff-hanger” Fridays, romances, excitement…

I am with you, dmr, although the only plots that are interesting to me on GH right now are the truce between Sonny and Julian (but the addition of Franco ruined that the last few episodes) and Lucas being at the hospital. To a lesser extent having Brandon Barash back because he is easy on the eyes and can act. Other than that, most of the characters are, like you said, cartoonish and unbelievable in their naivete.
As a side note, I used to adore Roger Howarth, but now I cringe when he is on screen as Franco. Kill off Franco and bring him back as Todd Manning now that OLTL is dead in the water again. The same for Michelle Stafford. I cannot stand Nina and the overacting. The character is pointless.
Dont like the actor James Franco, dont like the character Franco, and Roger as Franco is an embarrassment! What a waste of good talent! Same for Michelle Stafford. They have painted such a talented actress into a one dimensional corner!

I finally caught up on the show. Yesterday was a snow day. We got close to two feet of snow. I was pretty bored watching it. Had it on in the background. I always enjoy Sonny (hate the fact that he betrayed Morgan and slept with Ava. So much for loyalty. Nevermind that he killed AJ). Love Julian.
I agree about Franco. I love Roger Howarth; but, I wish that they created a new character for him-a Quartermaine. Not sure what the point is to have Nina Clay remain on the canvas. Silas has hardly been seen in the last few weeks.
I think that after Fluke’s party-the cast will be skimmed a little. That will help. With a cast so large, storylines get lost and its hard to keep track of what happened a month ago.
Speaking of the past, there have been no reference to the Mary Mae Ward /Edward Quartermaine/offspring story has never been mentioned. Thought it would have been brought up when they were looking for possible heirs to Quartermaines when they were trying to stack ELQ board. Even though I love Lila and Edward, there were some lovely moments between Edward and Mary Mae during WW2when they met.

Here’s a new idea bordering on the “Fluke” is “Luke” theory. What if he is doing a Pam Ewing dream and the whole last year was a dream?! That would mean no Nina, no Nathan (if you count December 2013), no Levi, and especially none of Nina’s disgusting ripping of Ava’s baby from her womb.
There was a lot of crap last year that could be gone if Luke is just dreaming or maybe it’s not even Tracy. Maybe it’s Laura or some other relative dreaming this is happening to him. SOMETHING has to be a dream because there is NO WAY those magical, shape-shifting, voice altering masks can be explained other than a dream. 🙂

GH spells it this way…ZACCHARA, which is actually misspelled. It is an Italian surname, thus the correct spelling is…ZACCARA. In the Italian language, one never ever sees the letter H between the letter C and the hard vowels A, O, or U. It is a complete no-no. There is a grammatical explanation for it. One must master the language to appreciate the reasoning. But, who cares, right? LOL. We must go with what TPTB dictate…..I say this as I grit my teeth. LOL.
A lot of people talking about how much they don’t like this storyline, and how they wish it would end, but that hasn’t stopped everyone from weighing in on who they think Fluke really is, lol. I love reading everyone’s theories. Some good possibilities, some off the wall possibilities, and everything in between.
But with 110 posts in this thread and counting, that tells me that a lot of people are invested in this story, and interested in how it plays out, whether they wanna admit it or not.
There hasn’t been anything “paint by numbers” with this storyline. Paint by numbers would have seen Fluke revealed as Jerry Jacks or Faison, or some other garden variety GH villian, and the story wrapped up months ago. This story, just when you think you have everything figured out, they take you in another direction. And I personally love stories like that. The ones that keep you guessing. I’m enjoying it very much, although I do hope they’re moving to a conclusion sooner rather than later.
Tony Geary should have his 8th Emmy on the mantle when all is said and done, and it will be very well deserved. His performance over the past year has been the icing on the cake, further cementing his status in my view, as the greatest actor in daytime television history.
He is an excellent actor. In all my years of watching I don’t remember him turning I in a performance like this….maybe I just don’t remember. I don’t know if he can top himself on GH…if he’ll ever get another story of this magnitude. I love Justin Hartley. He has topped Muhney, in my eyes, so far. He is such a natural. I had my doubts when Y&R was recasting Adam, but when I heard it would be JH, I was elated. I knew he would not disappoint in the role. ….not too shabby looking either.
BTW, I did reply on your Geraldo reply to my comment, but, I suppose my expressed phraseology was too risque’ for virgin ears….LOL. I bet all my posts get examined with a fine-toothed comb. So many are pulverized !!!!…LOL. That’s ok…it’s “their” prerogative and job. I would be ‘en garde’, as well, when it came to my writing….triple LOL.
