THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Is Victor Driving Phyllis Mad And Back Into A Coma?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is getting down and dirty once again, but this time has he gone too far? In the latest CBS Daytime promo for Y&R, the voice-over announce says of ole Vic: “He’s ruthless and merciless.”
Next, Victor boasts, “I don’t lose to anyone!” Following that, Jill (Jess Walton) says to Victor: “I will fight you on this one,” and Victor retorts back, “You will go down in grand fashion.”
But then in a shocker, you see an intense and upset Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) talking to Victor. He says to her, “Maybe, it’s a good idea for you to slip back into a coma!” Next thing you know … he has pulled out a syringe and injects Phyllis! Is Victor the one behind driving Phyllis mad? Or, was this just a dream of Phyllis’?
Over the course of the last few weeks, doubt was being laid that it was Kelly (Cady McClain) who was setting up Phyllis, but then on Friday, it looked like Phyllis came to the conclusion with Jack (Peter Bergman) that she is having these weird emotional outbursts! Is Victor behind it all?

‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric
General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing, during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).
On last week’s episodes of GH, Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door, he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned.
Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT
Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where Dante and Elizabeth previously, recalling, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, ‘Well, so much for that!'”
Fast-forward to early 2025 and as Zamprogna remembered it, “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said, ‘We’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth,’ My internal monologue is going, ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is … or not.”
Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprogna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric … and a big fan base with with Jason … and you know, you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES
In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is 100% down for. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.”
Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit, The buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other, and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect: Ric, Sonny, Lulu. There’s so much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”

While Smitty tries to hold the fort down in his marriage to congressman Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and their two teenaged children, Samantha (Najah Jackson) and Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) on Beyond the Gates, Emmy-winner Mike Manning has also landed another feature film role.
According to Deadline, Manning has joined the cast of Deify with 6 other new cast members for the indie psychological horror film starring Neal McDonough and Skeet Ulrich, which was previously announced last week.
Joining Manning as the latest cast addition are: Dennis Haysbert, Ashley Greene, Casey Harnett, Kirk Avecdo, Anji White, anf Nicholas Chimera who’s directing the pic also has a part in the film.
WHAT’S THE STORY OF DEIFY?
Taking to his Instagram with the news of his casting, Manning shared, “A movie about a cult? What could possibly go wrong? Come for the enlightenment. Stay because they won’t let you leave. DEIFY is coming…”
The movie is currently shooting in Chicago and in story, “a cult leader is put on trial after causing his devoted followers to be burned alive. The film is inspired in part by events surrounding the 1993 Waco, Texas, standoff between members of the Branch Davidians church and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, one of the largest civilian firefights ever recorded on American soil.”
MIKE MANNING IS A DAYTIME EMMY NOMINEE
In addition, the multi-talented Manning is a producer on the feature. Previously, Mike was nominated last month in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards. He previously won an Emmy for his role on The Bay and for being a producer on the digital drama.
Mike’s previous credits include the role of Charlie Dale on Days of Our Lives and the Manny on This Is Us, plus various primetime and screen credits.

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)
At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

I am up to my hair follicles with Phyl and Kel myself. I like Gina much more than Cady, but, honestly? I don’t care who gets pulverized. Since Michelle left, the only true Phyllis, in my eyes, I have lost most of the pull to watch. Coupled with the loss of Billy Miller…well, what can I say.
I still love Y&R and I will always watch….it’s home; it’s familiar.
I think I need more time to get used to all the changes; the recycled Wah, Wah, Nikki, the drunkard storyline; and, the ridiculous childish behavior of most.
The Michael Baldwin storyline is poignant and true to life. THAT is what is keeping me holding on…..only, please, TPTB, do not kill him off !!!!
That’s why Pratt said people will say…I can’t believe they’re doing this…High camp and melodrama to beat the band is on the way…
GH is pure cartoon camp now–I have grown to accept it and do not have the energy to scream about it anymore.
That said, Kelly has this spaced out freaky smile on her face whenever someone is not looking. If she is doing to to Phyllis, I can only imagine that the mustached puppet master is pulling the strings. This is not the first time he has sicked a bat shit crazy dame on another bat shit crazy dame.
Why would anybody want “Young and the Restless” to be as horrific as “General Hospital” was circa 2004? Nobody in their right might would wish for that.

While I have no earthly idea what Victor will do, this longtime GH viewer is humbly requesting that he place a visit to Port Charles to render the current “Phyllina (aka, Nina) Clay”…formerly known as “Phyllis Summers Newman”…back into her coma, and whilst he is at it, return this Y&R remnant to Genoa City along with him. Although it appears she’s not at all missed back there, she—and especially her particularly overwrought, melodramatic form of histrionics—are really most unwelcome in and ill-suited to her current city of residence. Please take her…she’s all yours!!!!
I LOVE this idea. It is brilliant and oh so user friendly.
I continue to go back and ask myself, “What would Bill Bell do? What would Bill Bell do when the show is in such dire straits?” Well, look at the history of the show– when the mass exodus of actors began when the show was less than 10 years old, Bill cleared the landscape by phasing out the Brookes and Foster families while simultaneously introducing us to the Williams and Newman families. That’s the formula that ALWAYS WORKED on this show: phase in a story while a current one is going strong, bring this one to a close while the other story gets stronger, then repeat the process! As much as I loved growing up with the Abbotts and Newmans, the Williamses and Winters– it is time for a new family to relocate to Genoa City! Or, maybe locate back: now there’s an idea I have sung before– bring back one or two of the Brookes sisters, or that Tricia (Ryan’s former fling.) Better yet, as I suggested before: give to Jill what she gave to Kay Chancellor– what goes around, comes around… maybe even do the same to Victor, have the carpet pulled out from under his feet by some young entrepreneur; time to dethrone the king of manipulation. And, for what it is worth, Victor would never inject something into someone, unless he is now the basket case. If anyone is messing with Phyllis, it ought to be the doctor who messed with her to begin with– their are whacko physician’s out there; the Chicago Tribune has run a few articles in the past two years about these types. Honestly, someone mentioned it last week on another post– make this a case of mental illness and handle the storyline accurately and with education for the public (the viewers.) Oh, how I would love to sit for a few hours with the writing team!

You cannot imagine how exhilarating it is to see good grammar in print. Our “English”, as we know it, is going down the tubes. Blame it on technology ? Then, again…..”gotta” go with the flow. It’s called progress. It kills me to even say it, but, it is what it is.
I am out of your league, and Harry’s, as far as all the past storylines on Y&R. That is, Jill having an affair with Jack while she was married to John. I know about it since my grandmother has been an avid viewer since 1972. So, history is repeating itself with Devon(sounds like a couch) and Hillary. I do not even watch when these two come on. They gross me out…..there’s a perfectly well-phrased idiom for you !!……LOL.

Nice to meet. Nicer to know it’s acceptable to use fragments. And other English teacher no-no’s! And, glad to know there’s another educator out there. The Chicago Tribune’s feature headline this morning covers the woes and pangs of Common Core… and I got to thinking, why doesn’t Y an R do a storyline on education: imagine the issues they could cover, such as bullying, excessive testing, middle school sexting, parent frustration with Common Core, etc etc… lots of doors to open.

And, I agree– the Devon/Hillary storyline is just awful… if the writers had any idea how poorly conceived and ill-advised it was, they’d fix it in a day….ughh.

It is nice to have made your acquaintance, also. Fragmented sentences are ok in dialogue….as on this site. But, in essay form, it definitely is a no-no, unless put in quotation marks, as you well know, I’m sure…LOL.
There are some educators who need some private lessons in grammar themselves. It is unfortunate how some do not know the difference between “there”, “their”, “they’re”, “your”, “you’re”, and so many, many more….too many to mention.
My maternal grandmother is from Scotland. Her speech is, at times, hard to grasp for those who are not used to her ‘tight’ Scottish brogue, but her grammar is impeccable. She is a very wise lady, who actually cracks me up when she goes into heated tirades over Devon, Hillary, Victor etc.
We all admired Bill Bell and the masterpiece he created in Y&R (as it was). You are very lucky to have met and to have been under the writing tutorship of such a savant as he……later.
Ron, I wish you had a few hours with Y&R’s writing team as well for I really like your ideas.
I have been proposing that they bring in a new matriarch who is trying to lay claim to the Chancellor estate. She could be Katherine’s long lost sister or better yet, it could be Phillip Chancellor’s long lost sister or even a wife he forgot to divorce before he married Kay. Then cast Erika Slezak in this role! She would be perfect!
What do you think of the Leslie/Duvane and Blind Neil love triangle? I hate it. I cannot stand the sight (no pun intended) of Leslie and Duvane anymore as I find them both so repulsive and vile that I need a shower just from watching a scene involving those two cretins hitting the sheets. It’s so bad that I am actually rooting for Colin to get the best of them with his blackmailing scheme. I would like both Duvane and Leslie to be written off the show after their affair hits the fan because I do not see how either character can be redeemed.
Couldn’t Katherine have donated her money to the local Humane Society instead of that lazy good for nothing bum? How I detest Duvane with the heat of thousand suns.

It’s to bad C. Pratt wasn’t writing back when Kay Chancellor’s will was read. She loved Nikki and even Jill. It should have been divided between the two of them and they would have to run it together. I think that would have been better than Victor involved again.

You are too kind. Your posts are often dead-on with my views and you have a great use of metaphor! I– an English teacher– applaud your creativity. So, a new matriarch is so necessary. I think you mentioned Nina once before? I would love to see that old, feisty Nina, the one who belted out to both Kay and Jill, “this fat lady is gonna sing” when she was pregnant with Philip’s child.
And, for something new: I would love to see a Genoa City benefits program done for some really worthy cause, and have the “Mayor” or whomever, bring in Genoa City’s famous celebrities for the event– singing by Danny Romalotti and Gina Romalotti, Tracey Abbott, Leslie Brookes, (yikes) Lauren Fenmore, even the past successful authors for anniversary issues of their books, Laurie Brookes and Leanna Love. Die hard fans would love to see the past relived!
Wouldn’t you like to know if the current show writers read our posts? Or even Bill Bell’s children?
Finally, I agree with the Winters blind love triangle (talk about blind love– I imagine the writers never thought of that literary concept!); it was done before– Jack and Jill behind John Abbott’s back (who, getting those puzzle pieces in the mail that revealed Jill cheating with some man) and then John ends up with the heart attack… that was a great storyline, and TRUE to character and plot.

Who is Leslie? Do you mean Devon and Hillary? I really like the two of them. I do hope they get caught although I hate going through Neil’s drinking again not to mention Lily’s temper tantrums. Neil should have known better. She was way to young for him. I wish more air time was given to Courtney & Noah and Kevin & Mariah. Less time on Lily & Cane bed hopping & Summer. If they got rid of those 3 there would be a bunch of money saved.

Well I am hoping it is a dream because I don’t want Victor to be part of everything that happens in GC– I like this Kelly/ Phyllis story, I hate two mature women fighting over a man, but obviously one of them has gone off her “rocker” and I honestly don’t which it is. It has been a long time since I couldn’t guess what the writers were doing. Just when I am convinced it is Kelly it looks like it is Phyllis, and just when I think it is Phyllis it looks like it might be Kelly. I’m just as confused as Jack, and I like being in the dark-. Because for me being able to predict everything in advance devalues the fun of watching, so anything they write that leaves me puzzle in a good way, is okay by me. Just don’t throw the mustache into the mix.

Hi Mary– nice thoughts here. And, if the writers were true to the Bell/Alden philosophy, the scene would begin with what appears to be reality, then fade out and show the viewers it was just a character’s dream. Bell/Alden used this technically occasionally, so it was always very effective. Viewers rarely suspected the “daydreaming” effect– sort of like real life, right? I’ll say it again, let’s see these current writers’ resumes!
I don’t believe Victor would stabbed Summer’s mother with a needle or do I believe that it was said Victor is the one who hit Delia and Framed Adam.Victor would not hit a child and leave her there. I had heard also that he was using Nikki’s SUV that night and after it comes out Victor hit Delia, Nikki takes the fall for it. 2 different stories,first frames Adam then lets Nikki take the fall. Doesn’t sound right. I still believe Kelly drove up that night after Adam had left and she hit delia,,At least I hope so. Bringing back the character of Adam and Phyllis is what is Saving Y&R. They took alot of flack and lost ratings when they were going to kill off Adam. People’s face get burned or disfigured all the time and have plastic surgery. Why is that so hard for you to comprehend? Y&R also took a year in searching for the right guy to play Adam,and I think Justin Hartley IS AWESOME.

I complain about its storylines, its characters, the silliness and the incredible goings-on. But, hey, I repeat, it’s a soap…it’s expected.
Victor did not stab Red. Its a dream. He wouldnt do that. I dont think he is really even focused on her right now. He has money issues and is focusing on Chancelor. We all knew Red was going to have an adverse reaction to the drug used to wake her up. Jack has his hands full without Victor even being involved. As for Charles Pratt, give the guy a break! Let him be on the job for a year. Maybe he will do more good than bad. 2014 was not a good year. Maybe he can brighten 2015. Maybe Charles can shake up some stories, the cast, and cause something positive for us viewers. Lets not judge him on his past.
Pratt has no fear to shake things up..

I have no idea what all the haters are talking about. C.Pratt is doing a great job. If he wasn’t you wouldn’t be on here to begin with. I would love to see more of Lauren/Michael played out the way they did Lilly losing her hair. Love the story of Phyllis/Jack/Kelly although I think Kelly is behind the whole thing making Phyllis believe she’s crazy, I also love the way they gave Sharon some guts instead of the Newman rug she was playing I think she’s going to shock the hell out of Nick & the Newman’s. I wish we had more Abbott time (Jack,Tracy,Ashley). I would love to see more of Mariah & Kevin. I think Abby would be great with the cop. And I want to see a story with Noah & Courtney. I think the whole show is great. The only bathroom, cut veggies for dinner, skip is Summer. I just can’t stand her & she was such a poor choice for Phyllis/Nick’s daughter.
ME Too. Loving the stories. I don’t see all the hype about JFP either. so many blame her for the stories and she is not even a writer.
I don’t see anything wrong with her either. She has a job to do & I think she’s doing it well. I also love the way they do the set with showing the outside of the buildings/houses. I like to guess who’s place their at. I always thought Victor’s was my favorite but I think I like Jack’s better.
Can do without Abby and Summer. It’s not so much the actresses, it’s the roles they play. But I guess every soap has to have some of each to irritate us. And then there’s Hillary and Devon…and this too shall pass, I hope.
I kinda like Abby. Your right they need a story for her that’s why I would love to see her dating the cop. Noah & Courtney need a story as well. My favorite is Mariah & Kevin. I think Hillary & Devon will be caught soon. Paul & Christine having a baby at his age??? He’s old enough to be a grandpa & Summer I can’t stand. I will always say she was a bad pick for Nick & Victoria’s daughter but without her scene’s I would have no bathroom break’s or peeling potatoes for dinner break so it is what it is. I t got to be number 1 for a reason and it’s staying at number 1 because of the great writing.

Their story or lovemaking isn’t even titillating….she’s overly -used in her display of femme fatale, which she is not. And, Devon ( I still can’t get my head wrapped around the fact that this cry-baby is a billionaire), is constantly after the women in his “father’s” life, the man who literally pulled him out of the gutter.
Neil? I am so done with these mature men gone back to High School. Perhaps if a woman, en par with Neil , age -wise, would be introduced, he would finally give up this idea of chasing much younger women and having having babies.

Ordway is all wrong as Abby. She is gangly without charisma. Perhaps if her wardrobe and hair style were brought up to snuff, it would make a world of difference. She is young….why does she sport that hair? And, her clothes? Give her something more youthful.
Summer is ok. I am able to tolerate her. don’t get why viewers don’t like her. She looks like Miranda Lambert, without the talent….LOL. Now, if we could only get rid of her on-screen husband, all would be well with the world. Why is he on this show, again? Forgot his purpose.
Lo and behold, Rose !! Today, Abby actually looked like she came out of a fashion magazine. She looked beautiful…her hair; her clothes…WOW. She has gorgeous hair, but when she has that Donna Reed concoction or up-do….ugh…. You go, girl ! Glad you heard me…kidding…LOL.
Right on the money Nikki. Eileen did such an amazing job over on DAYS, I hope Charles writes her a real juicy story! I love the actress who plays Abby. She is a wise cracking rich bitch who needs a good spanking and detective Harding is a great choice to do it. I also hope him and Kevin become buddies. I like their back and forth dialogue. And yes, Summer used to be my favorite season but now I despise it! She brings EVERYONE down!

I Love Abby. everyone says she’s a spoiled whiney brat. I don’t see that, anytime she was dating a guy they didn’t want her using her money,like with Tyler. if she was so spoiled she would of said she will use her money for however she chooses. as far as being blunt with Ben mariah Kelly. she’s just looking out for her family.
Well, she is pretty, she can act, and she is believable as Ashley’s daughter.

I know I’m beating a dead horse but I can’t stand Dylan. He has two settings; dull as dirt or rage-filled ass. Both options are a turn-off. Please limit his screen time. I thought SBu left GH so he could work less. He seems to be on non-stop. I know he has fans, but less is more in this case. JMO.

First Why does everyone feel So bad for Sharon. If you don’t take your medicine then everything done after that is your fault. Give Phyllis a break. Kelly is a little crazy and should not be allowed to win( you already have crazy Sharon for that). One more thing, How come nobody notices that Nikki is constantly drunk?
Sharon has a mental illness that needs drugs on a daily basis. She has in the past forgotten to take her med’s and then her mind reacts. I don’t have a mental illness but I can tell you I forget to take my one a day vities. Sharon use to be a strong person but the old writers have written her this weak little person since she lost Cassie but now I see a change and a glimmer of Sharon that’s going to kick Nick’s ass.Can’t wait till she find’s out Sage is married. Nick is a womanizer who had a couple of affair’s with Grace while she was Sharon’s best friend not to mention when Cassie died his was of dealing with it was to walk out on his family and have an affair with Phyllis. If you look at the Newman family one by one they really are a bunch of misfits yet they treat Sharon like dirt. I want her to kick Nick so hard he doesn’t know what hit him.

That is the crux of the matter, Pat. Mental illness is just that….the psyche is not in accordance with the brain, which tells the mentally ill person she does not need medication. This was handled all wrong from the beginning. Sharon should not have been left to her own devices. Where is her mother? Adam was the only one who actually gave a hoot.
It’s a damned if you do or damned if you don’t kind of situation. Sharon thought she could handle it all….had she been mentally stable, she probably could have….but……
One cannot blame a person for having mental issues, no more than one can blame someone for getting, God forbid, cancer. It is a disease !!

Sharon knows she NEEDS to stay on her meds,so several times she chose to stop taking them,one reason she didn’t like how they made her feel,another,she didn’t think they were working.Well the dumb moron should of discuss it with her doctor. so anything that ever happened is all her fault. Yes give Phyllis a break, So tired of Kelly causing trouble with her constant lying about the wig,about the poison. I will be glad when the truth comes out about her driving up after adam drove off, and she was the one who hit Delia. Can’t wait til her and Ben are both gone and leave our couples alone.

I was thinking that the “framing of Phyllis” is neither Kelly or Victor but Maureen, she left town quick and Ms. Baxter was a gem. Kelly recently mentioned her to her brother, that she wanted to confess to killing the father…it was like a mention out of nowhere. I think Maureen is trying to do something “nice” for Kelly after all the sorrow she’s caused, and is “gaslighting” Phyllis, framing her, so Kelly will have “her man.”
nikki needs to quit drinking, that’s just stupid and old. Nick and Sharon should be back, phillis and jack need to start a new chapter together. Maybe a business together, Neil should be a Pi . Ashley and joe would make a good couple, Danny romalotti, should come back and meet Kelly. Billy should be a rock star at the Genoa city loung. Adam and Chelsea gotta get back together before billy has another kid on the show, lol not enough relatives to date! Need new neighbours lol on y&r , sage’s new love should be Louis an actor from passions and days . Need more people and more love stories like 50 shades of grey. Do not though adopt story lines like days , I do not like the same sex thing! I’m catholic love and passion as nature promotes. Love victor and Nikki they are the best and need to rekindle the passion again!
