GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jake Comes To Sonny's Rescue! Now He Has To Tell Carly The Groom Has Been Shot!

On Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s General Hospital, looks like “Jake” AKA Jason (Billy Miller) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) finally in each others orbit in a major and very familiar way – with Jason coming to the rescue of Sonny.
After Sonny is shot on his wedding day, while trying to free a kidnapped TJ (Tequan Richmond), shots are fired and hit the mobster so bad that things look dire. It is then none other than “Jake “that stumbles upon the scene and goes into Jason the enforcer mode, and fires shots at the men working for the other side. After everyone else is down, Jake goes to Sonny to try to stop him from bleeding out. Sam (Kelly Monaco) is witnessing this all go down, which also seems eerily familiar. It is then that Sonny utters that “he knew he would come”, inferring that Sonny believes Jason was there with him. As the police arrive, Sonny tells “Jake” to tell Carly (Laura Wright) he loves her!
Back at Sonny house’s, the Corinthos men, and Carly, Lulu (Emme Rylan), Sabrina (Teresa Castillo), and baby Avery are gathered around for the nuptials as Carly seems to be focusing on the positive, even though Sonny has not shown up yet for the big event. As Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Michael (Chad Duell) start to worry as to their father’s whereabouts, so too does Morgan.
At the end of the episode, it is Jake that walks in wearing a blood-stained trenched blue t-shirt to tell his dear friend Carly that Sonny has been shot. The look on Carly’s face at the episode as it faded to black tells it all! And, what will Morgan (Bryan Craig) do when he learns his father (who said he would go with him to the doctor the next day to help him deal with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder) may not make it to be there for him ever again?

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Carly and Lulu Make Plans to Rescue Their Children; Anna Looks Determined to Secure Her Freedom
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, the race is on! Can Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get to Rocco (Finn Carr) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in time to ensure their safety from Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)? Can Carly (Laura Wright) with the help of her brother, Lucas (Van Hansis) rescue Josslyn (Eden McCoy) from captivity at Wyndemere? These questions may be answered, plus the return of the one and only Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are on tap!
In the just released General Hospital spoilers video for the week of June 22-26, Lulu tells her mother, Laura (Genie Francis), “Dante and I have to get to Rocco before Cullum!” Meanwhile, Rocco (Finn Carr) looks angered and emotional as Britt walks through their cabin hideout. Does Rocco know his parents are on the way to find them, or has Cullum already tracked them down to the British Virgin Islands?
Back in Port Charles, Carly is informing Lucas that his niece, “is a WSB agent.” She knows Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is being held against her will at Wyndemere, and she has to find a way to get her out. Lucas agrees with Carly’s plan of, “We go in and we don’t leave without Josslyn!” Elsewhere, Josslyn is looking worried for her future as she is stuck in captivity thanks to Cassius, Cullum and Sidwell!

FINOLA HUGHES RETURNS
The final moments of the teaser promo reveal Anna in a psychiatric clinic in France. We have not seen her for months after Cullum, Sidwell and Pascal fed her hallucinogenics to make her believe her arch nemesis, Cesar Faison was alive!
Now, the doctors walk towards her hospital bed, where we see the super spy calmly knitting. Is Anna back to normal and playing everyone to get out of her predicament, or does she still remain deeply traumatized … or both?

Maurice Benard Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ Writers; Teases Upcoming Sonny Scenes with Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric
With the highly-anticipated returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on this week’s June 24 episode of General Hospital, Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) upcoming return on July 13, which also serves as the ABC daytime drama’s 16,000 episode, things are about to fire on all cylinders in the story, as noted today by series star, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
On Father’s Day, the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor and mental health activist took to his Instagram and expressed in a video that he has some unbelievable upcoming senes with the aforementioned Burton and Hughes. Add to that Nazneen Contractor (Justine Turner) and Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), where Benard gave credit where credit is due to the GH writing team, which is led by co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten..
In this video, Benard said, “I just want to get on here and say that I did some work with Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Rick Hearst, Nazneen Contractor, and they’re all just fantastic. Truly fantastic. But, I want to say the writing was just exceptional. It truly was. It was exceptional. So, thankful for that kind of writing. I know writers don’t get the credit a lot, but I just want to say to the General Hospital writing team, keep rolling!”

So now the question becomes, with a major tease like that, what is about to go down between Sonny, Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric? Will we finally get to the end of the line for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), as previously teased by the GH co-head writers? Will we learn what happened to Jason and Anna, fully? Will Justine and Sonny becomes closer or stop their liaisons? And what of Ric? Will he be true blue to his brother or double-cross him? There is a lot at stake as we move further into the summer and one that looks like it could be one of the more exciting ones in years!
FINOLA HUGHES CONFIRMED AMAZING SCENES WITH MAURICE BENARD
As a punctuation point to his video, Benard also shared this written message in the post: “I just did some wonderful scenes with Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Finola Hughes and Nazneen Contractor and and unbelievable writing, freaking amazing scenes that you will see in the near future on General Hospital.” In fact, Finola Hughes jumped in the post comment thread and responded, “I loved our scenes so much xxx”
Fans will most likely see all the scenes Benard referred to later in July, since GH tapes approximately six weeks ahead of air.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Announces Upcoming Release of His First Single, ‘If You Need Me’
In a surprise move, Daytime Emmy winner, Chad Duell (ex-Michael Corinthos, GH) is getting ready to unveil a new chapter of his career in music.
The former GH star, where he played the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for 15 years, has announced his new single, “If You Need Me” will drop on Friday, June 26. The single is now available for pre-order on Spotify and major music streaming platforms and is distributed by DistroKid.
Taking to his Instagram story over the weekend, to announce the pre-save of his new single, Chad expressed, “I’ll make a full post about what I’ve been up to and my music once it goes live next week, but you can pre-save my first single so it goes straight to your Spotify once it drops next week.”

SINCE LEAVING GENERAL HOSPITAL
Previously, since his departure from the ABC soap opera. Chad starred alongside Zach Mendez in the world premiere of of Yum Yum at Annapolis, a new play written by Bruce Reisman. Duell last appeared on General Hospital on the January 21, 2025 episode.
The part was recast with Rory Gibson who debuted as the new Michael in May of 2025 during the Nurses’ Ball episodes and who has remained in the role since that time.
In an interview earlier this year on The Able Show, Duell said on his decision to exit the soap opera, “I was blessed to be part of that (show) for as long as I have, but what happens sometimes is if you’re doing the same thing, especially in a creative field for such a long time, you can get a little burnt out in a way. It can make you a little depressed, so that’s kind of what happened. On top of that, I had other things going on in my life at the time. My father passed away recently and I just needed a reset. So, I stepped away. A lot of times you have to go through some stuff to really step into that next level. I needed to kind of feel uncomfortable.”

I think that when he was on the ground with Jake working on him, trying to staunchly tamp the bleeding, Sonny, as he was in another dimension (netherworld) due to his injury, subconsciously knew it was Jason. Good stuff. I really loved that scene. No, su…LOL. not the bleeding…I’m not too keen on gore…..but the eye contact between the two men. The bond is still there….it was so apparent, as their eyes locked for an instant. Great acting…believable!! I must say, the way Sonny turned to Jake, grabbing his shirt, as if he were his only lifeline really got to me. What is happening to me? LOL. Billy Miller just fills a room with his presence. I am so happy he has finally been given a much awaited time to show his true self and talent. God…he’s so beautiful!…those shoulders make me want to swoon, su. Are you with me?
Now if we could only get Victor to tug on your heart strings!

I do believe that this contrived scene, was presented, in living color, to have us pity Sonny…to endear him to us and put him in our good graces. Yeah, well. There’s still that small thing? He was OLTL and I was told he did character/family there very well yet he could change it up to whimsy, also.
Ron always gave variety, one thing I like about him.
A mistake to let him go and yet ABC liked his writing and kept him on with a new project, go figure.

I think it was Carlos who shot Sonny. I think this will trigger some memories for Jake. I think Sam will be more intrigued with Jake than ever before as he is a lot like Jason. Who else could handle a situation like that.

Moving things along…..I must say that the yelling match at the hospital with Slick Rick, the D!@k turned me off. Amazing how none of the hospital staff came out telling them to shut up or get out!
It was so wrong on all levels. And the story continues…..Sonny gets a pardonnot only from the governor, but now from Michael. The fact remains….Sonny still killed AJ, Michael’s father. It’s so weird to me how easily he was absolved by the Q’s. Even Tracie was sorry for the shooting. Really?! It makes no sense. Michael is losing what integrity he has left. This is exactly what I said before. Sonny was shot just so we, the viewers, and particularly, Michael would forgive Sonny’s cold-blooded, murderous heart. Pity party, everyone….poor, poor Sonny. Not impressed!!
Hated the entire episode. It’s their fifth wedding. Sonny was shot for the 538th time. Who cares? It’s the same played out Mob garbage we’ve seen a thousand times. The only exciting thing would be if Sonny actually died.
I truly wish GH would tell a real story without gun violence and the same tired characters making the same bad decisions.
Sony’s in the mob. To have him shot while trying to save TJ shows the dichotomy of this character. He can be ruthless and destroy people in the blink of an eye, yet not have to think twice about risking his own life when someone he cares for is in danger. I also think Hayden’s slowly returning memory coupled with Jake’s once again razor sharp killing instincts are finally leading up to the Jason reveal.
I LIKE Sam and NuNeaton together. They have much more chemistry than Liz and “Jake.” Just feel bad that Patrick and Emma will be hurt…

Awwww, downtownla. Sonny did well for me in his ‘bleeding’ scene. But, never mind him. Do you care at all about Billy’s Jake? Well, I love him. And, guess what? He finally jumped into action…..that’s what happened!!!! That’s a good thing, right? He had been immobile for so long….Is this a flashback into Jason Morgan? Hmmmmm……
Yep, Cee Cee. I choose a good time to end my three week long break from GH. Miller comes alive! I did love the look in his eye after he shot down the henchmen–you could see the incarnation of Jason Morgan flickering in his eyes.
The best acting is done with one’s eyes and Miller showed us he is capable of being great.
Trust me, I want to like these characters. I’ve spent years with them! But it’s just hard when they do really heinous things to each and then don’t get punished for it. I used to be able to tell who the good guys and the bad guys were and the occasional characters that moved in between. Now they all just seem so icky to me. I have enough energy to read the recaps, but even then, I am skimming them for the names I want to see. But I do like reading these posts, as I find them more entertaining than the show itself. At least that amuses me.

They could not out Jason during that time, as planned by Ron, because the excitement, the impact of Jason back would take the spotlight off Tony..

Oh, believe me. My heart is your heart. Sonny, and all his ilk have been the bane of my existence in and out of fiction. It is even a joke putting Ava in jail. We all know what the outcome will be. Either Connie is still alive….held prisoner somewhere….or with amnesia; or Ava will get off with the most trivial of reasons. Those who do, finally, get their just desserts, their comeuppance,….well, they still manage to resurrect.
Too much power is given to criminals….”The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse”. (Edmund Burke). I never realized the true meaning of those words untiI I started watching soaps. LOL.

It was an ok episode but knowing Sonny is alive for the 100th time kills(pun) any possible suspense…being a top mobster youd think he’d send one of his goons or at least wear a bullet proof vest…but this is Superman Sonny…lol…i agree with the other poster…lets have some stories without the gun violence…but at least the shot Sonny means the hospital gets a storyline…lol

Yup, Jimh. As I said…this scene was so smoothly buttered, with a cherry on top for extra flavor. It was planned that way. You are right. Such a ‘high-class’ mobster does not travel alone…even if he is ordered to do so….there is a reason behind the shooting, for sure. Now, the more important question for me is….who shot him?
It has been quite awhile since there has been good excitement that revolves around Sonny’s business ..
I am glad that there is again some awesome (what is called mob stuff) back!!
After all- GH’s main family is by business or by family mob stuff..
but- the mob is near extinct and am so happy Jason lives to liven it up!!
I see people bitching about the mob, the 2 mobsters are not a mob) but there has not been a mob story for a very long time.
we have seen Julian and Sonny threatening each other over the pier but that is far from a story.
Sonny’s shooting will be about the family uniting, Morgan losing it, Michael back into the fold and that good stuff the mob will be less in comparison..
More so family not mob..
I want a good mob war!! haven’t had one of those in years, maybe decades! like it was and no longer is, bring it back!

I know you like the excitement of mob-wars and how they live on the edge. I also know you have been waiting a while for some action. But, you must see the other side of the coin.
I think that this episode was partly designed to show the effects; the aftermath, per se; the pain that the repercussions of what living a violent life will do to the families. Jordan, with her motherly, protective instincts knew that danger was TJ’s shadow. It was/is inescapable when flirting with a life of crime.
Now, Sonny and Julian are the mob. It makes no difference the number. I think you are getting a little confused. You think that because there are only two mobsters in PC , does not a mob make. But, in fact, they are the mob. They are part of the general term; a part of a larger group that encompasses all of these degenerates. They do not all have to live in the same place, as a group, to be called a mob.

Now, if we are to speak of the acting? Everyone was superb. I expected no less from Billy or Carly….yes, I know, I do not admire Carly, but I do admire Laura’s talent.
And, yes. The Sonny and Jason scene was gold, as you so descriptively put it. It was the best of Sonny yet, for me. I realize the two had forged the most bonding of friendships two men ever could. Yet, I will be completely disheartened and disappointed if the ungodly alliance is revisited with Jake. Yes, Billy could play the baddie, the mobster with the hard-as-a-rock heart and impenetrable skin,…..but I hope Jake sees the error of Jason’s ways when he snaps out of this stupor. At, least for the sake of his mother and children. Sometimes people do not get their priorities straight……the family is the bones of one’s existence….no other love can match it. Later gator.
Yes, Jimh. Sonny is alive for the umpteenth time. What do you think of this….Sonny will be paralyzed, in a wheelchair. After a few weeks, he will get so stir crazy, he will go nuts, yelling at everyone…refusing his mess. There goes taking care of Morgan’s potential mental issue. Sonny is always on the front burner…no room for his son or anyone else. I don’t get it. Has Sonny ever been in a wheelchair due to a shooting before?

Cee Cee…Also noticed how Sonny came first for Carly when she let Morgan storm out of the hospital in his erratic rage after she raised the alarm about him possibly being bi-polar. As did Michael…I think his comment was something like Morgan had to go blow off some steam. Wow!

Just an FYI to everyone saying this is still RC’s writing-to clarify yes it’s his outline/Bible but JP & SA have been making changes to existing scripts/stories since their arrival 8/10-which is when some of this starting filming. Also JP has been there since June tweaking scripts so it may be RC’s bible but it’s not all his details.
Second I LOVE it-to see the rich use of S&C’s history with the “Tell Carly I love her” feels like old GH is coming back where romance & character driven stories & not plot points will be told.
Having read all the new HW’s vision I’m uber excited & feel they can have GH out of the hole that RC’s writing dug them into. My very best wishes for their success.
Thank you!! Exactly what I have been saying!! Ron was fired back in July, and when a firing is that seemingly abrupt, there have already been MAJOR talks and negotiating with the new writers. By the time it was officially announced, they probably had a 6 month long term draft done up! So yes, Ron would have had long term story projections in place, but anY actual scripts that he had a hand in would have been used up 2-3 weeks later, as that is how far ahead the show shoots. No WAY is Ron a part of the day to day writing, dialogue, scene structure, narrative style that is currently airing. No writer can drastically alter their entire style when they knew their days were over….nor would they! Ron would want to go out with some enormous outrageous bang, not make a sudden shift to family and characters. Exbibit A..the Silas murder….any idiot knows that Ron would have dragged that out until November sweeps! It was hastily, quickly, and mercifully ended because it was a typical predictable Ron plot. Ladies and Gentlemen…RC has left the building!!! Not a rating point too soon!!

Good point, and that’s true, because I’ve noticed Jean Passanante’s name in the opening credits over the past week or two, listed after Carlivati, so she has definitely been involved in the show. And not coincidentally, I feel the show picking up again over the past 2 weeks.
I don’t think Ron is the devil incarnate that some people make him out to be, I think overall he did a solid job on GH when you look at his full body of work. But undeniably, the quality of the show went downhill in the past few months, the ratings plummeted, and changes were made. As Su always likes to point out, that’s the soap business. I think the show will be in good hands with Jean and Shelly.
Jean is in with the writers getting her foot in the door, acquainted with GH..
She is not writing the scripts so to say..
She was a breakdown writer perhaps that is what she is doing, but mostly in with the writers getting to know the characters and the writers,
Ron’s writing is on screen now.. Jean did not write these stories, not yet.

Anyways.. Ron is still with ABC as a prometime writer, ABC kept him.

but- the mob is near extinct and am so happy Jason lives to liven it up!!
I see people bitching about the mob, the 2 mobsters are not a mob) but there has not been a mob story for a very long time.
we have seen Julian and Sonny threatening each other over the pier but that is far from a story.
Sonny’s shooting will be about the family uniting, Morgan losing it, Michael back into the fold and that good stuff the mob will be less in comparison..

Su, there may not be notice given to the fired person….but they dont wake up one day, and arbitrarily decide to fire the headwriter of a show, without having first made plans. They didnt fire Ron and go scrambling to find an available headwriter. Of course Jean and Shelly were contacted beforehand, negotiations and deals were secured, writing outlines were done, and THEN the formal announcement of the writing switch was made.It was not one thing…it was an accumulation of many things…Ron’s abusive hostile social media tendencies, record low ratings in all demographics, ludicrous stories, viewer discontent….they would have looked ridiculous if they did NOT make a change! When any business is failing, execs need to look at the root cause. In this case, the writing was the culprit. You can (and will, incessantly) argue, and deny, and bully, and threaten, and bluster, and carry on, but thats because you know its true but refuse to admit it.
@JB – I carefully watched the credits today and there was no mention of Shelly Altman anywhere. It said Head Writer: RC and Jean P was listed as a writer, so you are incorrect. Su is right.
I don’t believe I mentioned SA in my orginial post-I said JP who has been there & tweaking things. Also in my orginial post I didn’t say that JP & SA’s bible or writing had officially started-again only tweaking.

Believe what you want to believe but every actor at GHFCW confirmed JP had been making changes to existing scripts.
Don’t like pushing the seasons, but October can’t come soon enough if it finally ends RC’s influence over stories. There were good moments at the beginning of his era, but then we had to endure Fluke, and now another “bright” story on it’s heels…Sonny getting shot on his I-don’t-care, been-there-done-that wedding day.
Looking forward to new, fun, positive writing energy. I don’t mind if there is still some mob and crime stories. Gives Anna/PCPD something to do…just not a diet of them. It is after all called General Hospital, not Mobster Inc.

i think it was a great episode today, hope this moves things along for Jake to remember who he is. This is going to bring the whole family together, I think Morgan will be okay he has Michael to help him right now. I hope it doesn’t go until November sweeps. Also I do think it’s Asia quarter .
I don’t know I’m torn–first off don’t you think Sonny who is a seasoned mob boss when going into an unknown situation without any bodyguards would have a bullet proof vest in his car and put it on before going inside the warehouse? Second, hanging out with his wife and kid doesn’t trigger memories for Jake, but trying to save Sonny does? How close were those two since I wasn’t watching during that time? It just seems odd. But I did like Sonny in his state being able to see Jason in Jake– that was a nice touch. And OMG, Jake walking into Carly’s with a bloodstain shirt– was pure and classic soap fade out– making me yell at my television set Noooo it can’t be over it was just getting to the good part. So for me there good moments and not so good moments –like Maxie being on speed about wedding details–honestly can’t they give that character a Valium?- like I said torn
Remember, Jason and Sonny spent a lot of time together so I can see why maybe Jake had a flash. He seems to have them in high pressure situations, as well.
Mary how close were Jason & Sonny you ask? Well when they weren’t playing cops and robbers they were open mouth kissing in the living room. Translation it was then and it is now going to be a sickening relationship it realty tickles me that we have posters that were unhappy about the Jason & Sonny hour and yet are singing like a canary with glee that it is happening again. I have never seen a soap opera held hostage by actors as this one MB & TG and funny I have enjoyed the show when they were not on now here we go again non stop Jason Carly Sonny & Sam.

If I may; not all viewers are rejoicing over the revival of Sonny’s and Jason’s ‘love affair’. I only know of their ‘fraternal’-like, strong relationship through these sites and utube.
Nonetheless, I don’t think fans are waiting with bated breath for them to pick up where they left off. For myself? I simply appreciated how special that scene was. I saw Jason Morgan, albeit I do not know him. …Something inside him stirred a deep, dormant and somewhat feral emotion which catapulted him into action. That is what grabbed me with a cold hand.
Sonny’s acting was not too shabby either. They communicated something mystical through their eyes and the slightest of touches.
In Jake, I saw a controlled anger which energized him to do what was to be done with the situation at hand…by rote, it seemed. Like a automaton. I thought the atmosphere was charged; palpable. Considering my dislike for Sonny and the mob, that’s saying a lot. I saw fire in Jake’s eyes. That bellicose, warlike, fixed stare spoke volumes. I can’t say enough about Billy’s acting.
Harry also referred to his eyes. And, Mary read the scene and Jake in a nutshell. The last thing I want to see is Jake fall back into his past life. However, we cannot deny that both actors did a ‘mahvelous’ job. At least, that was what I intended to accentuate, not to get chummy with Sonny again.
We shall see what happens once Jake comes into his own. In my heart of hearts, Kay, I would love to see Jake be Jason Q. …..get to spend time with his mother and children before anything else.
Cee Cee…re: Jake’s demeanour and eyes in saving Sonny and TJ…that’s why Spinelli called him Stonecold. The name stuck.

Kay, I am so over Sonny being shot, and GH trying to be the poor man’s Sopranos. I watched The Sopranos–it was a brilliantly written and acted show. GH is no Sopranos nor should it try to be.
While I detest the fact that Jake morphing into Jason seemed to be predicated upon Sonny and his silly mobster games, I did appreciate Miller finally being allowed to come alive as he has pretty much has been sleep walking through his scenes since arriving in Port Charles. It was good to see Miller show fans just how good he can be when given the chance.

Now as for acting I would not know and will not critique since this fall I quit all the shows have went back to college with my daughter to finish my degree and she made me promise no soap watching ! Stopped watching. In fact, I have switched to Days, and i am loving it! Yesterday’s episode was fantastic, the return of Bo and another strangled victim. I’m amazed that it’s not being covered here.
Michael has covered DAYS quite well. He has interviewed returning cast members and has done posts on their 50th anniversary.

THIS is what I wanted to see! Billy Miller in Jason mode and Sonny being a human! I loved their scenes together! ALMOST as good as Billy and Leslie at the Q mansion!

As a mother with a baby, I notice things that should not be…such as Avery dropping her ‘teether’ on that dirty floor where thousands of feet traverse it continuously, and Maxie picks it up and gives it back to her. GERMS.

I think Jake has the most chemistry with Carly but I’ll take Sam with him over Elizabeth any day. I think their chemistry is good … not great, but, at least she’s honest with him.
Goes to show you, Ces, that once a sleaze, always a sleaze. Believe it or not, I liked Grayson so much more than this guy, with a man-child chip on his shoulder. Grayson seemed more sincere, in a way…his love for Anna was genuine. Rodd’s delivery, not so much. And, here I was thinking Sloane was a good, altruistic guy under that I-can-be-bought-for-a-dime. He puts out a believable facade.
I am still hoping there’s much more to this guy. Blackmailing Anna is so low…spoiled, selfish brat. I don’t know how Sloane can come back from that ….to both Anna and the viewer.
If Carlos is alive, it will blow Sloane’s threat right out of the water. But, what if Carlos is alive? It would be the perfect crime. No one could prove anything. Perhaps Julian has been hiding him; waiting for the opportune time to use Carlos to his advantage. OR, another scenario would be….Julian has no idea he is alive. So, Carlos killed Sonny to show his fealty to Julian. Did they not part in sort of a not-too-friendly way? I cannot recall. So, Carlos is trying to prove himself and killing Sonny is his redemption.
But, Sonny won’t die….of course not!!
Oh, I forgot to say that Rebecca Budig has chemistry with everyone. I don’t know if you are familiar with her past work, but I am….(oops…I just bounced three feet off my the couch….Wow …loudest clap of thunder I ever heard…sorry) I am very familiar with what Rebecca can do.
If truth be known, I would love to see her and Billy together. That would be thunderous, sprinkled with lightening…perhaps the thunder I just heard is an omen …of good things to come, of course. LOL.
But, yes. I like the chemistry between Nikolas and Hayden, as well.
I totally agree with you on Sloane. I actually liked Grayson in the role; he was a bit softer around the edges, seemed like he really cared for Anna and I actually thought they had chemistry. I don’t understand why this Sloane came back; he’s hard, looks and acts devious and obviously we’re back to how the character was when he first came onto the scene. At this point, I don’t see GH investing in Sloane/Anna because there isn’t any chemistry between those two and he’s too much a sleaze as you’d say!
I really, really hope another back-from-the-dead character doesn’t resurface. I really want the Jerome family gone; all of them. No Carlos either.
I have watched Rebecca on AMC but I think I was just quitting AMC when she became a couple with Cameron Mathison?? Is that the right dude? Anyway, I do like her with Nicholas but I didn’t see any chemistry with Jake/Jason. Hopefully they won’t make her too evil when she gets all her memory back. If I remember correctly, Greenlee was b*tchy??

Yes Rebecca Budig, as Greenlee was coupled with Ryan (Mathisonn).But, I believe the love of her life was Leo (Josh Duhamel). Greenlee first appeared as a bat out of hell. ….much like Hayden. She was not well-received. But she won our hearts and she and Leo became a super-couple…until he fell and disappeared down the falls, and presumably, dies.
Yes, she and Nik are hot…sizzling! I was just comparing her to Sam. How spirited and sexy Hayden is, in comparison. But, as I had mentioned before, I can appreciate unexpected irony in any story. Jake and Hayden…imagine that!! LOL.

I think those were heartfelt tears, Ces. Sloane is struggling within himself. He is caught up in a maelstrom of his own making due to power and avarice. Perhaps it’s the first time he felt real love for a woman, and he doesn’t know what to do with it? The problem is that no matter how he tries to mend this imbroglio, there is no guarantee Anna will forgive or forget. Anna is. Straight ‘n narrow kind of person who mis-stepped. Thing is, I don’t think she did by killing Carlos. But, for Sloane to hold it over her head is irreparable. LOL, Ces….the worse fiend on soaps are forgiven if the writers want it so…
Yes, I agree, Hayden and Nikolas always bring it when they’re together…..you feel the electrical charge in their every scene. They are a good match. All they need is to fall in love….later.
No longer watching GH and I have to say that after reading this post, I don’t miss it. . Switched to DOOL, where you’ll find multi-generational characters/stories, character development, romance and a love story, a triangle rooted in the shows history, suspence rooted in the show’s history (Salem Strangler), and characters that we actually know and care about.

I think the Jake story and its November reveal should involve a big, a huge unexpected switch: Jake Doe is NOT Jason Quartermaine Morgan but one of Helena’s experiments at control. Not even Robin knows the truth. Robin still believes that it was Jason she rescued from the fire at the clinic. But it wasn’t Jason, it was Helena’s soldier boy, a thoroughly programmed agent for her to use.
I think the Asian mob is behind it and framing Julian. My wish is for Bruce Weitz to return and play Anthony’s twin brother we never knew of. That way we usher back Bruce which is a great actor and Johnny Z returns. I would love to see what would happen if you put Johnny, Nathan, Dillon, Maxie and Lulu [Julie Berman] in the same room?

I agree with CeeCee and others about Michael forgetting that Sonny killed A.J. This is a horrible idea to allow Michael to forgive Sonny for killing his father. The reason I left G.H. years ago is because the mob /Sonny was allowed to run rampant in Port Charles and keep Michael from A.J. I am truly disappointed that G.H. is letting Michael become close to that mobster again. It seems as if I’m leaving again because this is very discouraging.
Additionally, T.J. is talking stupid talk about his loyalty to Sonny. What fool would put his life in harms way?
I don’t know if this was Ron’s idea ; it was an absurd one .
