GH’s Katelyn MacMullen Dishes On How Willow Would Feel If She Knew About Nina and Drew: “I Doubt it Would be a Great Realization!”

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) says she still loves Michael (Chad Duell) very much, but she cannot seemingly overcome her attraction to Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). So after one thing leads to another, Willow and Drew kissed on the fourth of July episode of General Hospital, and were unknowingly caught by Sasha (Sofia Mattson).

Wracked with guilt, Willow heads to her mother Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) office to get some ‘motherly’ advice.  As she unloads about what happened between her and Drew, she is unaware that Nina has a thing for Drew, and the two have been having some, shall we say liaisons in their offices, of late.

Nina is clearly becoming unglued, while Willow tells all, as her mother does her best to calm her down and te just forget about the kiss, but clearly Willow, nor Drew, can.

Katelyn MacMullen shared some insights with Soap Opera Digest with just how Willow is going to deal with the fallout of her actions. MacMullen expressed, “From my understanding, Willow loves Michael very much, and it’s not like anything necessarily has happened (in their relationship) But I think that Willow and Drew have just developed this bond and this sort of new mutual understanding and admiration toward one another.”

When speaking on how Willow will feel, if and when, she finds out that Nina has been messing around with Drew, she added,”I think that Nina and Willow are just sort of slowly growing closer, so the complication is, ‘Will Nina tell Willow? If she doesn’t tell Willow, what will that mean? And if she does tell Willow, what will that mean?’ Also, just the prospect of Willow finding out that they’ve been having a relationship of sorts … I don’t know how Willow would feel about it, but I doubt it would be a great realization!”

As the scripts come to MacMullen and the storyline is filmed, Katelyn expressed her enthusiasm: “I feel like every time I get a script there’s more fall-out to play and it’s so fun and messy and it’s interesting to see where Willow is on any given day after this event has taken place.”

So, how quickly would you like Willow to find out about Nina and Drew, and how quickly would you like Michael to find out about Willow and Drew? Will Michael eventually be the odd man out, and will Nina become the other woman? Comment below.

I want Willow to find out ASAP. I’m ready for the Drew/Nina tryst to be over. It can be months before Michael finds out. The fallout to that will be huge.

Sorry, but reading into what Katelyn/Willow had to say in story above, this story is just beginning, not ending.

Well… if GH pairs Willow and Drew… I seriously will fast forward thru their romance.
It is enough to finally make me quit watching.
It was funny the way Monica had the affair with Ned without knowing he was Tracy’s son, or the way Nathan and Britt almost hooked up just prior to found they were half siblings… but I am beyond words about this awful storyline.

Sorry Drew, you would never get my vote.

Agreed. Drew is not your typical hunk. He has neither good looks nor a great personality. Yet, TPTB are throwing him in our face with a constant bare chest. Is that all he’s got? Ewww! Pair him with no one. Maybe Sonny’s attorney?

Could Willow be experiencing DID and channeling the nasty parts of her dead twin sister? Nelle could reappear in Willow’s mind.

I have no idea what she means by “I doubt it will be a great realization.” What I don’t want to see is an Ava/Kiki rivalry redo, or Nina becoming competitive with Willow for Drew’s attention. I think this can be a great soapy story with many fallouts, but at the end of it I want to see Nina and Willow closer, not estranged again. It’s absolutely ridiculous that after 20 years in a coma, ten years searching for her child, Nina can’t have a close relationship with the child who was taken from her at birth. Let this be the story that bonds them, not drives a wedge between them again. If Nina doesn’t tell her soon, Willow is going to feel like a fool and betrayed. Now they can all feel betrayed, lol, because they all were.

Not invested in this one at ALL. Drillow is just ICKY!

They’re gross.

I’m glad she finds the scripts interesting, but I never despised a storyline as much as I do this one.

Willow is a character who has blossomed into a lead actress. She has many ways she can go and find new stories. Michael cannot. He is either a pushover or mad as hell but then forgives whoever he betrays. He is boring. Drew is not. Yes its weird that he had hate sex with Nina but Willow didnt kiss him before that so no one is really wrong here. Drew should be an a casual prowl and not hookup with anyone unless he is truly in love with them. Drew also needs to be in Jason’s way more often.

It’s a shame that Willow never gives Liesel credit for saving her her life. The storyline is wrong and so many ways.

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
