GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Lulu and Drew Continue to Battle for ‘Most Hated’: She Gets Bitch-Slapped, He Asks Willow to Tie the Knot
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who are currently the most hated characters on social media from GH viewers, are once again in the spotlight and in the hot seat.
In the newly-released ABC promo for the soap opera, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) finally hauls off and bitch-slaps Lulu, as it it were not for Lulu’s obsession to let Dante know that Gio was his biological son, she wouldn’t have upended relationships and many lives. Lulu continues to defend her actions and says to Brook Lynn, “You chose to lie! No wonder he (Gio) wants nothing to do with you!” While that is true, Brook Lynn can take no more from Lulu’s mouth and slaps her.
Elsewhere, Drew is trying to figure out his next move, now that Willow had a breakdown over losing custody of her kids to Michael (Rory Gibson). Seemingly trying to salvage his relationship with her, the shifty congressman asks her to marry him. Is Drew taking advantage of a mentally-fragile Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)?

Meanwhile, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) lays his cards on the table with Sonny (Maurice Benard), in that he intends to take over all of the mobster’s territory in Port Charles, and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), who just gave birth to baby Daisy, looks terrified. Did something happen to Daisy, especially when a male voice says, “This never should have happened!” Stay tuned.

So, who is bothering you more? The character of Lulu, Drew or both? What do you think will happen with Willow and Drew? Will she turn down his proposal or go along with him? Share you picks and thoughts via the comment section, but first check out the new General Hospital promo entitled “Drastic Measures” below.
Drew definitely bothers me the most. When he stooped to the new low of using Wiley against Michael, that was the final nail in the coffin. Someone needs to do something, Drew needs his comeuppance! Consequentially, I’m not hating Lulu like everyone else is.
When you break it all down the only thing Lulu is guilty of is terrible timing-confronting Lois at the nurses ball instead of in private-like her own house or something. Lulu was desperate to find Charlotte-she did not abandon Rocco-she knew he was safe & cared for. So she broke into her Uncle Martin’s hotel room because he was Valentin’s attorney. Remember-she’s trying to find Charlotte. She comes across the notes from Martin’s meeting with Lois indicating Brook Lynn & Dante had a baby boy. Now seriously-she cannot unsee those notes. What the hell was she supposed to do? She & Brook Lynn had it out, she begged Brook Lynn to tell Dante they had a kid! Dante would have hated Lulu’s guts if he found out she knew & never told him. So in her digging & with what happened when Rocco got drunk Lulu figured it out what the hell was she supposed to do? Stay silent forever? Let them all live together at the Q mansion knowing the truth but keeping quiet? Blame Lois & Gloria! How ridiculous they let Gio come live with the Qs knowing who he really is. They are the bad guys here. NOT Lulu.
Please let Sasha have a happy healthy baby. If anyone deserves peace.. it is poor little Daisy.
It’s not even a contest. While the timing of Lulu’s “revelation” of Gio’s parentage certainly was not the best, her motivation was based out of love for Dante, Rocco, Olivia, Sonny, and Tracy, who are all Lulu’s “family” by one means or another.
Drew is completely the opposite. Everything he’s done has been deliberately malicious towanrds his own family members. Banging his nephew’s wife, then trying to steal his children. And then the whole ridiculous attempt to bulldoze the Quartermaine crypt (hasn’t he ever seen “Poultergeist, for Hell’s sake??) and eventually attempt to frame his aunt Tracy for the Ketamine episode.
I fully expect Drew to be down here in Hell by the end of the summer, if not sooner. But Lulu will be fine eventually. I believe everybody else involved in the Gio clusterfuck will eventually realize that her intentions were noble, even if the time and place the information was delivered was less than ideal.
Lulu only cares about herself. She wants Dante back even though he is grieving. She took off on Rocco to go look for Charlotte, so where was the concern for her son. Lulu has always been selfish, she is the very worst of Luke. She is the female version of Drew.
No.
Utter nonsense.
Agree 100%
Well said, Satan. I agree entirely.
Can’t they both be b-slapped?
Team Brooklyn here all the way !
Don’t understand how they’re rewriting Drew Quartermaine because he is Allen’s son, just like Jason is Alan‘s son in such a horrible life? I guess they need to have somebody to hate on but the only thing he did was fall in love and try to keep his love. Michael has covered up murders that his father Sunny dead in cold blood Jason has murdered people and beat up people with for some reason the noble criminal is what makes this audience happy. The only thing Drew did to Portia‘s husband was to change his mind about giving him the CEO position and gave it to Michael because he was sad that Michael was heard about him falling in love with Michael’s wife. The criminal minds are getting all the praise while a guy who happens to fall in love and try to keep his love like a true Quartermain. I and Tracy did the same kind of things years ago. But they didn’t kill people like Sunny and Jason and cover up stuff like Michael and Carly. How could a judge give Michael Corinthos , A criminal’s son whose life is also endanger custody of his children. Who paid off the judge I just wanna know?
lol omg “they just fell in love”. Could you be more deluded? Drew is the new evil manipulator! If you can’t see that we must be watching a different show than you.
Best line of the day – BLQ to Lulu – “since you woke up from your catnap”.
So, with Monday’s episode, by showing her photo – it’s clear Kelly Thiebaud will either be playing Britt or someone whose resemblance to her is part of the storyline.
Will the next reveal be that Lulu is not Rocco’s biological mother?
Or maybe it will backfire and reveal that Val the Bastard is NOT Charlotte’s father?
Because if they go digging into the story of what happened to Lulu’s embryos and how one of them ended up in Britt, then it was part of the story at that time that another embryo was still “missing”..
My guess is that Dr. Ooblech sold it to Val or Helena and that’s how Charlotte ended up being born by some random surrogate.
Don’t remember if there was ever a valid DNA test proving Val was her father, but even if so, it wouldn’t the first time a Cassadine forged a DNA test.
Charlotte has such a strong connection to her “poppa” that I’d doubt they mess with it. However, if you follow your theory through, who would be Chatlotte’s bio dad? Certainly not Dante, as they just gave him a retcon kid.
Why can’t Dante have two retcon kids? He IS a Corinthos, after all. Why wouldn’t the “Sonny Super Sperm” legend continue to the next generation?
There’s too much long term value in having a character that’s both a Spencer and a Cassadine by birth. They’ve already shown Charlotte has some characteristics of both Helena and Luke. The Corinthos family is large enough. How about a retcon of Charlotte to be another offspring of Silas Clay? How that in inconsequential character got 3 bio daughters is laughable.
Hey best line from last week when Kristina told Alexis about her stupid plan “You want to push that despicable cretin (meaning Ric) on poor Elizabeth?” Cracked me up
I totally agree, I lol’d at the catnip line too!
Yeah, sorry but comparing Lulu to Drew is a false equivalency. Lulu was well intended but she allowed her sense of righteousness to derail her plan. At some point she lost her sense of humanity while her mindset was focused on the goal of releasing the truth. Her objective was pure but her execution was faulty. Drew is not well intended and his objective is nefarious and predicated upon destroying the lives of Michael, Carly, Nina and the Q’s as a whole. And while Drew is willing to victimize children to win, Lulu is not. I don’t get the Lulu hate.
Drew is a slime ball. Disgusting, using kids.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
