GENERAL HOSPITAL: Is Willow About to Kidnap Baby Daisy? Did She Try to Switch the Infant with Another in the Nursery?

On General Hospital, it’s very clear that at this juncture, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is clearly mentally unstable, and in the throes of a deep depression. So, of course, Drew (Cameron Mathison) continues to blackmail Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Portia (Brook Kerr), so he can be the one taking care of Willow and having her live with him.

However, after watching the Tuesday, June 17th episode of the ABC daytime drama series, the soap seems to be teasing a baby switch, or a kidnapping of Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael’s (Rory Gibson) little bundle of joy, Daisy.

First, Sasha is in her hospital room talking to Carly (Laura Wright) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and informing them of her decision to move back into the Quartermaines with Daisy. Next, Carly and Felicia explain to Sasha about Willow’s meltdown in the courtroom after the judge awarded sole custody of Amelia and Wiley to Michael and how she has since been hospitalized.

Meanwhile, Lucas (Van Hansis) checks on Willow as she is being discharged today, and tries to console her by saying that he is sure Michael will grant her access to her children as soon as she gets back on her feet and things calm down between them. She thanks him for his kind words as he goes to prepare her discharge papers.

Back in Sasha’s room, the conversation is interrupted by a nurse, who hands Sasha the wrong baby!  Sasha freaks out saying, “This isn’t my baby! What have you done with her? Where is my baby?” Michael walks in on the scene. Carly explains that the nurse brought the wrong baby. Suddenly, Lucas walks in with the real Daisy and puts her in Sasha’s arms. Sasha tells Michael, “It’s her, it’s our little Daisy,” as everyone (and the audience) breaths a sigh of relief! (although this has to be a precursor of what’s to come).

As to how this mistake could have happened, Lucas explains the baby didn’t go anywhere, she still has her bracelet on, and that somehow Daisy just must have been put in the wrong bassinet in the hospital nursery. Outside in hospital hallway, Lucas and Felicia are utterly shocked how Sasha’s baby could have been mixed-up for another. Lucas tells her there are strict protocols so something like this never happens (Isn’t Willow a nurse???).

In Willow’s room, Drew and Nina enter to a despondent Willow, who is in tears. Drew says he is here to take her home. She utters, “Yes, please home”. Later, in the final scene of the episode, as Willow signs her discharge papers at the nurses’ hub and with Drew and Nina by her side, they run into Carly, Michael, Sasha, and Daisy, who just got off the elevator with Daisy in Sasha’s arms. Willow and Sasha lock eyes and Willow is clearly disturbed by the sight of seeing Sasha with baby in tow.

So, what do you think is going on here? Is Willow about to kidnap Sasha and Michael’s child? Was she responsible for Daisy being put in the wrong bassinet in the nursery when she snuck in? Will Drew somehow have a hand in this and do something dastardly to calm Willow down and to get revenge on Michael and company? Share your theories via the comment section below.

PLEASE, no baby switch or kidnapping!!! I’d hate to have to fast-forward through this tired troupe. Let the baby drama come from somewhere else. There’s enough for crazed Willow to do other than kidnapping a baby. Ugh!

testing

It is beyond cruel if the writers are going to yet again, mess with Sasha’s baby. Let Sasha have peace with this child. She has gone thru hell too many times and truly deserves a happy baby. Willow… not so much. She deserves all the misey Drew has and will cause her.

Since Drew wants Michael to lose everything that is important to him,(his wife, his kids) my guess is Drew pulled the old baby switcheroo in order to frighten Sasha into keeping Daisy away from Michael because his connection to Sonny poses a threat. Drew is all about putting children in the line of fire in order to get what he wants.

Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking.

please no baby kidnapping. Let Sasha be happy for a change. Willow deserves what she gets when she is letting Drew control her every move. Sad that the writers can’t think of anything better than some of these storylines.

Willow was in a cult and that is why she is acting this way. I was part of the evangeical church for years, which is very cultish, so I can relate to her.

Hope you are “free” now from all that.

I am for the most part. Thanks

Come on, the sweeps period is over! Let Sasha have some happiness for once! Willow’s children are still alive, she just needs to get her act together,l. She lost custody of her kids, because she followed crazy-ass Drew!

Please do not do this
Sasha.

Willow as nutty as Nelle. She will get caught and committed to psych ward

Could care less about Gio storyline, been there, done that. It’s time to end Drew and Willow. Let’s get on with something to root for …Britt’s return !!

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
