GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: ‘We Know Who Shot Drew!’
This week to kick off 2026, General Hospital is set to close the loop on the “Who Shot Drew” mystery with the reveal of whodunit, or is there a twist on a twist still to come? In the just released ABC promo for episodes airing the week of January 5-9, Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial takes centerstage where things reach a boiling point.
Drew (Cameron Mathison) takes the stand and explodes in anger and points his finger at someone screaming, “You are going to rot in prison?” But who is he aiming at? Willow or Michael (Rory Gibson), or someone else? We know that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is changing her defense strategy of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) by zeroing in on Michael as the possible culprit to leave the jury with reasonable doubt that Willow was not the shooter.
Meanwhile, the promo raises the idea that other people could have done the deed with quick images of Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Tracy (Jane Elliot), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jacinda (Paige Herschell), who is also questionable in this whole ordeal given her past with Drew. Later, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) opens the door to her law office and we hear Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) voice (who probably is being accompanied by Kai) saying, “We know who shot Drew!”
If that is the case, that would mean that Trina and Kai will need to come forward about being in Drew’s house at the time of the shooting and they must have remembered something they believe is solid evidence.
Take a look below at the official GH spoilers for the week of January 5-9 below.

I can’t wait for this story to end.
Amen!! This is getting really old!
I stopped watching it same old stuff boring.
Same
Don’t care anymore !!! Love to see Michael marry Jacinta so she can claim “spousal exemption !!”
It’s getting old, move on already! Get rid of Drew. They need to arrest him for Corruption. Also get rid of Nina and Willow. Jacinda and Michael make a great couple. I hope her and Michael get married!!! Willow is just like her sister Neal. It’s time for Jason and Carly’s boyfriend to start looking for Anna! Anna knows that it’s Sidwell who’s holding her prisoner.
Why would you want to get rid of Nina? The actress is a rare bright light who deserves more stories worthy of her great talent. I love the dynamics that exist between Nina and Jacinda and would like to see Nina mentor Jacinda at Crimson Magazine. I’d like to see Nina with anyone other than her sullen, unappreciative, unworthy daughter.
Wait! Jason and Carly share the same boyfriend?
Ha ha ha!
I understand the need to allow stories to play out, but this one has dragged on for too long. Should have been wrapped up before the holidays. As for who shot Drew, I think it will be someone like Collette (Sidwell’s crony), Ezra or Willow with D.I.D. – I highly doubt it will be anyone like Michael.
I totally agree with you, it could of been Ezra, sense he is jezz cloney, but i still think it was a female who shot him with either willow or jacendra herself, somehow slipping out that night and shooting Drew. Its just taken so long no one even cares anymore.
It’s only been 4 months since Drew was shot. A reveal is due this week. Not ridiculous by soap standards.
Yes, it’s adhering to the standard timeline for who-dunnit-soap stories. I’m not sure if folks appreciate the humor Cameron inserts into his delivery. After Alexis totally chocked while questioning Portia on the witness stand, Drew rushes up to her and hysterically shrills,” THAT was a DISASTER!” That really made me laugh aloud.
Harry
I can’t wait to read about people’s heads exploding when Cameron gets a well-deserved Lead Actor Emmy nomination for 2025.
I’m having fun watching Drew smirk while Michael testifies. Who would have thunk Cameron Matheson would be so good at playing a despicable villain? He’s better at this than playing the hero. I think Wiley called his mother, Willow, after Michael didn’t answer his call. I’d imagine Willow used the same ringtone for Wiley as Michael did most likely when she was still married to him. Also, why is Nina not attending her daughter’s trial? She went to great lengths to help her and then she just disappears with nary a mention as to her whereabouts?
The bigger question – why does a 9 year old with constant supervision need a cellphone?
As for Nina not at the trial – maybe Cynthia was over her episode guarantee for 2025.
This is right up Cameron Matheson’s old play book.. He started off on All My Children as Ryan Lavery a huge scam artist that married Greenlee. He turned to a good boy back then after he fell in love with her but this is how he started. I hated him as Drew Caine the do good hero & I hated him as this prick Drew. He is best on Hallmark movies & hosting E imo.
Yes, Ryan Lavery was a smooth talking grifter for sure. However, viewers were privy to seeing his deeply imbedded goodness fight his innate darkness. He was flawed for sure. With current Drew? Cameron is playing him one dimensionally bad and villainous. And I cannot believe I am defending Cameron’s acting as I have never been a fan until recently. Five months ago I would have completely agreed with you.
breezy, i beg your pardon? ryan changed his stripes long before green pea came along. how dare you erase princess gillian!!??!
He is a great actor along with the others. It is a shame that one of the young ones is not. Hard to watch
Lol I wish they would kill drew and sidwell and his messed up kid. And I think he shot drew. I’m just mad he missed. What is up with all the would be assis8ns who can’t shoot for shat. And willow and her mommy need to go. And this has dragged on forever. The kids age 5 or. 10 years in a 6 week time period. 4 months is just annoying.
.
It has to be someone with ties to Scout. The ringtone. Drew did not get a call that night. So obviously the shooter got the call!
I still say I’m hoping it was the tree. I had always thought. Maybe they send Monica‘s character out as she had passed and then nobody would be in trouble or anything like that would have you but when you hear an actual person who says And professors, she loves her kids and she’s a mom but yet does everything in anything contrary to that and then tries to justify it and blame it on one person no honey he did not put you on your knees or on your back or on your head spinning you around you did that quite gladly And no Parent I would think would get up there and do all that crap and let her kid be thrown on the bus, not once but twice and that being Wiley not even her kid but yeah Wiley, that’s the sickest part of all of this so I hope it is her and I think what Michael did on the stand yesterday he gave them enough ammunition in that half with Alexis food for thought because it would be too easy as everybody’s out here stating that oh she’s such a great lawyer she’s a halfwit too. She looks like she just got all her information out of a candy machine so does anybody here feel better hell no the only same kid she has is Molly. Everybody else has been screwed up and talk about a hypocrite after what she did for Christina oh please so I hope she goes down just along with Drew. I hope it’s found out all the crap because Rick could’ve blew her world up but yet she still treats him like crap. Yeah think about that one that’s an unhinged person. No damn parent in their right mind would say oh yeah and I would do the same thing no kind of damn parent is that you love your child enough to make them responsible to hold them accountable so her morals are whatever that crap went out a long time ago so nobody’s gonna cry a tear or shed a tear for her and most definitely. I am so fed up and sick of hearing about all the Davis women yeah if that gets you into some club no thank you because you all are fricking head cases again minus Molly and I wonder how the hell she’s gonna explain that cause you know it’s gonna come out eventually about how they held her father prisoner in the basement so talk about a hypocrite that’s gonna be a hard swallow there sweetheart and all of a sudden you’ve come to the rescue oh my grandchild oh yeah right how many things that you have with that kid in the whole entire existence of her? I just hope that halfwit the pair Trina and Kai stay the hell out of it cause they haven’t got a brain between each other. If Micheals got that ringtone don’t you think that the dead tree would too and the way they’re playing Trina? She’s even more stupider than what she was before get over it honey. Things happen in life and mommy and daddy don’t always agree and you already know this the pot was tainted. You know that your daddy is always gonna hold a higher ground like he’s got some moral superiority so your mommy never had a chance and I’m glad Porsche standing in her ground. Keep us. Sorry you know what to the side. This is her kid that’s her body. Let her do what she wants and that last comment made my kid oh, you’re never gonna be old please you are such a joke. Where were you? When your first kid supposedly was bellied up in that tongue to a Porsche ain’t about to say you didn’t look back everybody looks back in your case you just chose to pretend in being your little bubble wait till that bubble burst.
This is a soap! But then, in real life, a lot of people are just as screwed up!
Do you use voice to text? These seem to be the ramblings of a lunatic with no punctuation skills.
Agree the story is carried on too long and it’s not Michael. He’s still not saying something and I’m still gonna say it’s Willow and the fact that that idiot those two idiots Trina and Kai halfwits are thinking that it was Michael because of the ringtone in confidence you don’t think that Willow doesn’t possibly have that ringtone as well. I’m still saying it’s her cause of shadow I went back and I’m gonna go back again and I’m gonna look at my recording and that silhouette was hers. It looks just like her scrawny shadow and it’s time for her to go along with Drew and as well as her psychotic mother if you think for one second That or anybody thinks for one second that Nina‘s gonna mentor Jacinda if anything, she’s gonna load there even more psychopaths sociopaths narcissist they do not change their spots. That’s her downfall. Nina has done everything she’s done so far to herself and for herself justifying oats for my child. No, it’s not let’s get that straight. She wants it for Herself K in the 12 steps and even tells you always put yourself first. It’s not about anybody else it’s about you so accept it you got yourself here what you gonna do about it as far as storyline for her the best storyline that Nina had was when Franco was around other than that she was disposable in her character role. She’s made no sense. She’s never given Maxi credit for getting her carcass in where she’s at because Nina didn’t know Jack crap about nothing so that’s all on Maxi.
I want it to be Willow in an altered state. I can’t stand that character anymore.
I agree..she’s a slut puppy
I thnk Willow’s goody two shoes character needs to say sayonarra. All she does is whine.
Michael corinthos shot drew and Michael will pay he did to drew and Michael and jacinda deserve to go to prison where they belong
Willow? Is that you?
lol. Despite growing up in a cult, Willow would use complete sentences and use punctuation.
You are full of yourself!!
I hope it’s willow who shot drew but it will be something it’s Alexis
I think Scout did it.
Wouldn’t that be a twist nobody was looking for
A child trying to kill a parent is not a twist I would want to see. Too dark, and it might resonate with recent tragedies in the news. To me, that is not fun escapism.
The shadow was an adult. A kids could not hold the gun and fire with one hand. Shooter is not a child.
Me too
I doubt it. Moreover, I wouldn’t want to see a storyline involving a child trying to kill her father. That is too dark for me
I think Danny or Scout would be great options.
Stole the gun from the quartermaine mansion, used it to shoot her father in the back, then planted it in Elizabeth’s house to frame her stepmother? This kid really gets around.
Boring. Everyone is tired of this story
Nope – not everyone.
Not me! It’s cracking me up!
I know I am. It’s getting annoying. This storyline is getting annoying. It’s been going on since last year. I cannot believe what they’ve done to Drew‘s character. Billy Miller is like what in the world cameron Mathison a good actor, but what the heck are they done? and I’m really not liking the fact that Lucas is dating Marco not realizing that his boyfriend is helping his father frame his grandfather for a professor’s murder that’s just low. I think Lucas deserves to be back with Brad even though Brad is messed up so much at least Brad actually cared about him and didn’t use him.
“his boyfriend is helping his father frame his grandfather” – please make this statement make sense….
His boyfriend ( marco) helping his father(sidwell) frame his grandfather (sonny). Do you watch the show?
Granny, OG Steve had quotes surrounding another poster’s statement followed by a request that the commentator make sense. You misunderstood the context. Please read again.
Sonny isn’t Lucas’ grandfather. Julian Jerome was his father and he was adopted by Tommy Jones’s and Bobbie Spencer. Carly is his sister (adopted) and Carly was married to Sonny. You asked if the other person watched?
That’s hilarious. Loyal viewers of this site know I’ve been watching since the mid 70s.
On what planet is Lucas Sonny’s grandfather? Lucas is Sonny’s former brother-in-law. And I remember the episode when baby Lucas first appeared in PC.
Get with the program (literally).
Sonny isn’t Lucas grandfather
Lucas is Carly’s brother. Sonny is his ex-brother-in-law, not his grandfather.
Do YOU watch the show?
Thank you, Grandma Gaslighter.
Been going on too long. I think Drew hired someone to shoot him so he could blame Michael.
We waited a decade for a genuine whodunnit on this show. Not that hard to wait 4 months to find out who the culprit was.
Um no we just had a whodunnit with the hook killer. This person who did this, like always will be a character nobody sees often or cares about. It will not be Willow, Michael, or any other main character.
Don’t care just get it over
Is Drew mental enough to do that? Maybe. But part of his mental damage includes a level of paranoia, and it would take one HELL of a level of trust to let somebody shoot you twice in the back and assume they could do so without killing or paralyzing you.
Don’t see that coming from Dragon Chow Drew.
I think Michael shot Drew because he blew up his marriage to his wife Willow, he manipulated her children. He tried to make Wiley think that he was a bad father and that he didn’t want him no more. and also he’s headed out for him since he came back to Port Charles. but on the other note, I think Willow shot Drew because he ruined her marriage to Michael had an affair with her mother that he kept a secret for a while and then on top of it all he took her kids without Michael’s permission to Washington DC while he had passionate love with their mother in the next room. at last, but not least Michael was in the burn unit in Germany and he pretended to be the clinic employee and bribed them into saying that Willow was not allowed to see Michael because Michael did not want to see Willow but we all know it was Drew that bribed the clinic complete to make sure that they could never be together again again.
It is Willow who shot Drew. I hope this drama with whoever did shot Drew. This storyline is dragging out to long as it is
Yep. Willow did it. Wiley most likely used the same ringtone for his mommy as he did for his daddy. Willow was in the house, not Michael. But now Trina and her boyfriend( whose name escapes me) think it was Michael after he testified that about the “ Twinkle- Twinkle Little Star” ring tone. Michael is a red herring.
It’s been too long with this who shot Drew mess!! It’s suppose to be his daughter, Scouts. Seriously?! I love Micheal and Jacinda. Hope they make it work.
I am over Sidwell. They are wasting Elizabeth. Would love a good story with Jason and Sonny like the old days but now its gotten all let’s teach about this or learn about this. And can we please get on with the Anna story
Lest we forget the crazy sub plots of several people coming back from the dead and another one in a comma all in the same year ? Talk about running out of ideas.
To the writers’ defense, they had to find a way (somewhat quickly) to move Maxie off the canvas for a few months. Yes, they could’ve postponed Nathan’s return, but since they moved ahead, the only “logical” decision was to place Maxie in a coma.
With the Drew whodunnit likely coming to reveal this week, the missing 7 years of Nathan’s life can pick up the pace.
Still think willow shot Drew & was furious over death of judge. She still blames Drew for losing custody of kids as he is to blame & she probably has same ring tone for Son who also called her that night. Willow probably blacked out or has bad case of ptsd or something worse like Nell & might not remember she shot Drew. if it were Michael he would of made sure he was dead.
The same ring-tone could very well be on Willow’s and Michael’s phones, at one point they were both parenting their children and may have set up that same ringtone together as an alert for their children.
What if Marco shot Drew???? I think it’s Willow and she gets off by having a psychotic break. Micheal actually provides the evidence. She snuck in and terrorized Sasha. Maybe a split personality thing??????
I’ve been waiting for something to come up with Willow and the baby. Also, why isn’t Drew getting charged?
I think Willow shot Drew. That’s my story from four llloooonnnnggggg months ago and I’m sticking to it!
And you turned out to right. I always thought it was Willow too but I thought she had developed ab alter who stalked Sasha’s baby and who later shot Drew. Looks like it was Willow herself who shot Drew.
Who cares who shot Drew!
Whoever shot Drew deserves a key to the city! Lol
Not until they finish the job and feed my dragons!
It was Willow and SAM is the witness! Idk…but i heard she was coming back.
I stop watching it gets boring
Could it have been Wiley that shot Drew?
I think was willow, person was a woman remember they showed person in heels. Willow is just like Nell goes from man to man, so weak. Think she had ringtone Kai heard, Michaels is different. Agree it’s gone on for tooooo long, end it
Nobody wants it to be a kid. But at least that would have explained the poor aim. Willow is a nurse. She should have known where to shoot for maximum damage (and dragon feeding)
I fast forward through anything that has to do with his trial. I am so sick of Drew and Willow. I am also tired of the Sidwell on and on and on and on. I barely watch any of General Hospital anymore.
Figured out about 3 months ago that Willow shot Drew. Not because of the writing or anything. Because this is what these shows do. And the actress that plays Willow was so obvious, saying she didn’t love Drew but marrying him anyway. I can’t stand these two, and if they arrest Michael, I will never watch again. It’s always about emotional manipulation of their audience instead of telling a new story in a new way.
Trina and Kai have to go straight to The DA to tell news about Willow being the shooter. Lock crazy Willow up and Drew for blackmailing Porcia. Enough is enough!!!
This story is just dragging ease end it now
It seems like Willow has DID and a clever and ruthless alternate is now in control who is basically Nelle. I think alternate “Nelle” shot Drew so she could frame Michael, piss off Carly and get custody of her son Wiley! She purposely wounded but did not kill Drew so she could continue to manipulate Drew to against their common enemies. It actually makes sense in a soapy way. Willow broke when she lost custody and her brain conjured Nelle to protect & fight for her by any means necessary.
Did you catch on Friday how she set up Drew to get in a fight with Jason and Carly and they just stood in the background and smirked for a second. Now this is a soapy turn I will enjoy more than watching sanctimonious Willow and one-dimensional Disney villain Drew. Let alter “Nelle” loose on PC and see what happens!
Yes! Please bring this story line to an end . So ready for this to be over with!! Please write the rest of this story and let it end soon!! And get rid of Drew and Willow! Put them both in Prison!!!

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”
Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.”
So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Admits That He Didn’t Expect the Role of Michael Corinthos to be Recast, and Would Consider Working on Another Soap (Exclusive)

Chad Duell, the Daytime Emmy-winning actor, who stepped away from the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, opened up about: his previous decision to leave the series after nearly 15 years, where’s he’s at now after time away from the demands of a daytime soap opera, and took a stroll down memory lane with some of Michael’s most-acclaimed storyline during his run, during a livestream chat on August 19 on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel.
Viewers last saw Duell on-screen as Michael in January of 2025, and with his successor in the role, Rory Gibson making his debut at the GH Nurses’ Ball in episodes that aired later in May. It was clear that during the conversation, Chad was a bit surprised that the GH brass decided to recast him when he thought he was just taking some much needed time off.
Burn-out of the daily grind of being on a soap was definitely a part of Chad’s decision to take a break. Duell explained “People know when you’re doing something for so long or your character is kind of in the same place for so long or doing the same stuff over and over again, you do get a a little burnt out, you get a little stiff, stale, a little stiff at times. I didn’t want that to be any sort of lasting impression. I have 15 years of a body of work of I’ve done on that show, which is fantastic.”

WHILE CHAD WAS AWAY GH RECAST MICHAEL CORINTHOS WITH RORY GIBSON
Chad shared, his mindset when leaving GH was, “I’m taking some time away, we’ll see what happens.” Then he added, “Obviously, they decided to go in a different direction with Michael when I was gone. I didn’t think they were going to bring somebody back in my place. But you know, it’s the business. You never know what can happen.”
Duell also shared he has not watched a single episode of General Hospital since he left the series, but now feels he reenergized following the loss of his father and stepping away from the GH, “I’m in a place now mentally, where I’m ready to sink my teeth into it again.”

Courtesy/ABC
Even though he is no longer Michael on GH, Chad was very happy with his final storyline where Michael was set on fire when a bomb exploded at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. “It was fun to put him in a dangerous situation, because I was wanting Michael to be in something scary instead of trying to be a hero character or just things happening around him, but to be the center point of tragedy happening to him. (I always saw) Michael as the heart of the (Corinthos) family.”
When Michael was badly burned the show chose not burn his face, which normally a soap does when they are recasting role and switching actors. Chad weighed-in, “They didn’t burn my face because I told Frank Valentini (EP, GH) I’m willing to come back. It was just a little bit of a break. So, I assumed that if they would have burned my face, they could have brought somebody back looking different than me… if that’s what their plan was.”

MEMORABLE MICHAEL STORYLINES
One of Chad’s most memorable performances was the in the storyline of Michael’s rape while he was sentenced to prison in 2010 and the confession of it in 2011. “It was so well-written and I was very nervous,” recalled Chad. “When I get really nervous about something, it ends up being really good when I do it, because it just means I care a lot about it”
“I have to put a lot of effort and work into it, and I really want it to be good. I was working with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Steve Burton (Jason) a lot during those scenes, and Laura Wright (Carly). It was great working with Steve and Dominic, especially, during that storyline.
A NEW SOAP ROLE FOR CHAD?
As to a future soap opera role, Chad is open to the idea and would love to jump back in to a juicy role, “I know people over at The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. They know that if they’re interested, I would love to come in for a screen test or something, and they can see what I’m doing.”
Meanwhile, Chad has been busy putting out new music under the moniker Duelly and during the interview he explains how he creates his EDM tracks and much more. You can stream his latest single, Static in the Quiet Room on Spotify, Apple Music and You Tube Music.
You can check out the full conversation with Chad Duell below.
Now let us know: what show would you like to see Chad cast on down the line? BTG, DAYS, B&B, Y&R, or a new role on GH? What did you think of his thoughts on the casting switch while he was away in the role of Michael? What was your favorite Michael storyline during Chad’s 15-year run on the ABC soap opera? General Hospital
GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ric’s History of Jealousy Where Elizabeth is Concerned Has Come Back Around

On General Hospital, Ric Lansing (Rick Heart) is about to fall back into dangerous old patterns by the foreshadowing during the Wednesday, August 19 episode. After first coming to see his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and telling him of his plan to propose to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) his longtime love tonight, Sonny has concerned.
Next, Sonny reminds his brother of what has happened in the past, when things have gone south with Elizabeth and wonders if it’s too soon for him to propose to her. What Ric did not tell Sonny is that he has seen the developing closeness between Sonny’s son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth, which is propelling his urgent need to propose.
Meanwhile, Dante ran into Elizabeth at the park during a break from their mutual team softball games. She needs help with a bookcase after the game at her house. Dante wants to put it together for her. Later, Dante arrived at Elizabeth’s house, limping after injuring his knee during the game. Head nurse Liz wanted to check out the injury as much as Dante protested, which required him to take off his pants.

RIC BEGINS TO UNRAVEL
Outside Elizabeth’s widow, Ric arrives with a bouquet of roses and the engagement ring. When he leers through the widow he is shocked to see Elizabeth rubbing Dante’s leg while Dante is in his boxer/shorts. He storm troops into the house, demanding to know what is going on here? Both Elizabeth and Dante look surprised by his reaction. In the pick-up of today’s Thursday, August 20 episode (see GH video teaser below), viewers will learn the upshot for all three characters.
A VENGEFUL PAST
As longtime GH fans know, Ric has done some horrible, vengeful things in regards to Elizabeth starting back in 2003 after she lost her baby after Ric’s ex, Faith Rosco pushed her down a flight of stairs. Ric accused Sonny for the accident and to get revenge, Ric kidnapped Carly (who was married to Sonny at the time), and stashed her in a panic room below the house where he was living with Liz.
On top of that, Ric fed his wife Elizabeth birth control pills to keep her from getting pregnant so that they could raise Carly’s baby together after it was born. Eventually, Elizabeth found Carly in the panic room but ended up having a pulmonary embolism. When she woke up in the hospital, Elizabeth was all confused by what happened, and Ric convinced her that her vision of Carly was just a bad dream. Eventually, Elizabeth learned the horrifying truth and divorced Ric.
Years later, Ric noticed the connection between Elizabeth and “Jake Doe” who eventually turned out to be Drew (Billy Miller) A jealous Ric hired Hayden Barnes to show up and claim to be “Jake’s” wife. Elizabeth stepped aside, and when Ric planned to propose to Elizabeth at the 2015 Nurses Ball, Carly exposed his manipulations, and Elizabeth dumped him yet again. And those are just two examples of the lengths Ric will go to for Elizabeth!
So, we ask you, given the history of Elizabeth and Ric, how do you see this playing out with Dante in the picture? How will Ric derail their growing bond? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
