This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Take a look at the official GH spoilers for the week below.

MONDAY, AUGUST 3
Jason makes a sacrifice for Danny. Elizabeth becomes privy to a secret. Carly is touched. Valentin has a warning for Nina. Josslyn cautions Brennan.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4
Brook Lynn and Chase celebrate a milestone. Trina gets an earful. Carly’s plan backfires. Curtis is skeptical. Michael is anxious about his family’s’ future.

Check out the latest ABC promo for General Hospital entitled, “What Did You Do?” below.

Now weigh-in: Do you think GH is about to pair Serena with Michael? Is it curtains for Jacinda? Can anyone stop Willow once and for all, or make her pay for her crimes? What will Jason do without Sonny and the mob? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

Serina is too old for Michael. Wii Jason change his last name to Quartermaine?

I wondered that too. I hoped that he would stay with Sonny, and still be a good father to Danny and Jake.

You dont get it. How in the world can Jason be a good father while he’s working for a Mafia Don as his contract killer? The two dont mix! Jason has neglected Jake and Danny in favor of the mob life. He also chose the mob over Robin, Elizabeth and Sam.
It’s time that nonsense stop and its time the writers stop jumping through storyline hoops to depict both Jason and heroes when in reality they are mob criminals. Luke Spencer and Duke Lavery were heroes. They turned away from the mob in favor of their families! You have to make a choice. You cant live a life of crime and expect it not to hurt your family. The story has been ridiculous from the start!

Serena*

Technically, in-universe, Serena and Michael are only three years apart. But age is a construct in soaps. It technically does not exist. Real-life age-wise, Rory Gibson and Kelly Kruger are only 13 years apart, which is not a “huge” gap. They are both adults. And if Gibson were older than Kruger, I can guarantee this comment would not be made.

Who cares if she’s too old for him.

Age has nothing to do with it. The actors just have no chemistry.

They have not even had a scene together yet, so how can you say they have no chemistry?

I don’t like the sound of a lot of this. First, Jacinda needs a backstory. The actress is good but the writers should flesh out her character so viewers will root for her. Second, I don’t like the sound of “ Valentin warns Nina” coming on the heels of “ Carly is touched.” What’s Carly’s little house frau going to warn Nina about? That he will never cook her Coq Au Von again? Third, I HATE this idiotic storyline of Curtis blaming Isaiah for the non crime of not stopping to help Jordan and him after the accident that they caused. When is it going to come out that Isaiah was not there? They should have killed this story a long time ago instead of dragging it on and on. In addition, Drew’s awakening from paralytic hell has also been a disappointment for many reasons including not seeing Willow be found out and Drew continuing to act like an angry, deranged idiot directing his ire towards the wrong targets( Danny, the Q’s, Alexis). There’s been little viewer satisfaction after the the Sidwell-Collum-Z story wrapped up, let us hope that soon will change.

Im sorry but I completely disagree. Paige Herschel has the very little screen presence IMO and Im being kind. And the character is as flat as a piece of wood. And pairing her with Rory Gibson only makes her short comings stand out more. They shouldve written her out months ago. She is very substandard casting.
Rory deserves an actress who is up to his level of talent. Paige isnt that person.
Further more I am sick to death of the writers trying to justify prostitution calling it sex work. There is no such thing. Sex was given to us as a precious gift by out creator. It wasnt created to be a commidity bought and sold. That’s sick no matter how our sociey tries to popularize it.
Back in the day AMC, OLT and GH depicted realistic stories about the degredation of that life with Bobbi, Karen Wolek and Donna and Estelle. They didnt try to glorify and justify that life. Personally I want Jacinda either killed off or sent out of town.

I disagree–I feel the actress is very talented with a naturally flowing charisma. What she lacks is a backstory, something to flesh her out and make viewers root for her. I wasn’t suggesting that they glorify or even justify sex work, but explain the hows and whys Jacinda got into line of work in the first place. She once hinted that she had a troubled childhood and was out on her own as teenager. We needed the writers to delved into that backstory but they never did. Meanwhile, Jacinda most likely will be replaced by Serena, who is basically being prostituted out by her mother, Lucy in order to get Michael’s Deception shares. I find that more offensive because it is cloaked as good old fashioned soap opera business dealings. At least Jacinda was honest about who she is and how she once made her living.

I love that Jacinda tells Willow like it is. Today at the Metro Court pool she tells Willow with
a smile on her face,” I could drown you but that would upset Wiley.” Love her.

Buh-bye Jacinda. Hello Serena.

I hope not. I like Michael and Jacinda together.

The writing is pretty much on the wall at this point; Jacinda was a bit-part that got brought in as a pseudo replacement for Sasha, and now with Serena coming in as replacement for Maxie and as a more permanent fixture, the need for Jacinda no longer exists.

I agree.

Im glad that theyre possibly ending Michael and Jacinda. But Rory Gibson and Kelly Kruger have zero chemistry. Id rather see Michael and Willow forced back together by the courst for their kids sake. Kate MacMullen had no chemistry with Chad Duel. But she and Rory would be fire together as bitter enemies with perhaps stil a spark of passion between them. I would love to see them stuck together in a bitter marriage like Alan and Monica were for years. With good writing that would be very entertaining. But watching Michael and Serena would be like watching paint dry lol.

Interesting you say there is no chemistry between Gibson and Kruger, when we have yet to see scenes of them together…

Just because Lucy wants Serena to seduce Michael it’s going to happen. Kind of ridiculous at least do some sort of buildup. And they made Serena into a little lucy which is ridiculous too she wasn’t like that but then again they change the writers make everybody different personalities. Just send it is really nice to make a good partner for Michael but that doesn’t matter. And I hope we’re not going through the drugging thing again oh gosh rinsing repeat rinse and repeat rinse and repeat

I dont know what it is with Frank Valentini but man he has absolutely no talent when it comes to pairing actors with chemistry! The majority of GH’s couples today are lackluster and boring as hell. Now he wants to pair Kelly Kruger and Rory Gibson( Serena and Michael)?
Good lord Wilam Flintstone had more chemistry Barney Rubble lol.
Rory has much more chemistry with Kate MacMullen ( Willow). Now that Rory is playing Michael Id be open to Michael and Willow being forced to stay together for the kids sake. Kate has really improved as an actress. And the two of them in a marriage in name only would be reminiscent of Alan and Monica back in the day. With good story these two would really shine together. But Frank has no imagination and again no idea how to pick couples!

Michael may not fall for her tactics.

I think Lucy suggesting her daughter prostitute herself is disgusting. This is 1987 Lucy! True, Michael has always had a hankering for young hookers, but Serena is not one. Not the best introduction for a character viewers have wanted on the show for years.

I agree, JJ. And I realize I am in the minority, but I have never cared for Lucy.

Kelly Kruger looks and acts like a piece of plastic. Have found her thus far unwatchable. Even the former escort looks more real and age appRopriate (And naturally like she Could have come off a whale saving mission). Lots of things could have improved the show these past months and this and other cast intros have not been those.

Kelly Sullivan Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’s’ Maura West Recalling When Ava Shot Connie (Exclusive)

Maura West and Kelly Sullivan

It was just over 13 years ago on General Hospital when Ava Jerome (Maura West) shot and killed Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) in an effort to keep her quiet from revealing that Derek Wells was actually Ava’s back-from-the-dead brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry). It’s a crime that somehow Ava never has quite paid for either.

The episode back aired on August 13, 2013 and viewers had to say goodbye to Kelly Sullivan who played Kate and her alter, Connie. In the story, just before she died, Kate/Connie scrawled the letters AJ in her own blood, initially making the PCPD and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) think that it was AJ Quatermaine (Sean Kanan) who did the deed.

Now, Sullivan recalled sharing scenes with the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning West, during a live conversation on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel. Kelly was the special guest talking about her recent return to the soaps in her new role as The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darcy Dylan.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF MAURA WEST

Speaking of her final GH scenes and working with Maura West, Sullivan gave her then GH co-star major props. “If you’re going to be shot by somebody (on the soaps), you want to be shot by Maura West, c’mon!”

Maura West debuted back in May 2013 as Ava, and Sullivan remembered when the As the World Turns favorite began on GH. “I remember when Maura West first arrived at GH. She walked in with this cute little bob (hairdo) and she’s just delicious,” shared Sullivan.

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

Kelly revealed more about Maura, adding “I think she’s amazing! I remember right before I left the show, someone suggested, and I would still love to do this with her, if she ever want to, but someone suggested that they wanted to direct the stage play A Streetcar Named Desire with Maura and I, where I would play Stella and she would play Blanche! Wouldn’t that be great?”

Speaking of the Ava/Connie showdown scenes, Sullivan expressed, “On television and on General Hospital specifically, Maura West is able to play a character who does the most horrendous things and you still care about her and that’s the mark of a really great actor. In other words, you’re able to be liked in the midst of the most horrendous things, and as a performer not shying away from that, and to just have the courage to do what’s on the page (in the script).”

KELLY SULLIVAN PARTING THOUGHTS AS SHE LEFT GENERAL HOSPITAL

Kelly also shared her sentiments when she walked off the set of General Hospital after her run back in August of 2013. “I really was honored. Every day I would go to work and I would say a little prayer, which is I want to do justice for my character, explained Kelly. “It’s between me and my character. I get to walk this path with her and to leave the show on that note, which is, I left every out there. I just gave it my all and again what an honor it was to play Kate/Connie.”

You can catch the full conversation with Kelly where she talks about her time on General Hospital, The Young and the Restless where she played Sage Warner and now The Bold and the Beautiful below.

So, do you remember the Ava and Connie scenes where Ava shot and killed her? What did you think of Kelly Sullivan’s sentiments about Maura West? Share your thoughts via the comment section. But first, watch the reveal where Ava recalls murdering Connie below!

Steve Burton Reportedly Signs Three-Year Contract with ‘General Hospital’

Published

Steve Burton

The question of will Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) stay awhile at General Hospital after his recent extended hiatus from the show earlier this year, has reportedly been answered.

TMZ via court documents obtained in Burton’s ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife Sheree Gustin, shared that Steve actually inked a new three year deal with the ABC soap opera back in June.

That is significant because it was June when Burton returned back to work as Jason. In addition, the court filing confirmed that Burton had already moved back to California from Tennessee.

STEVE’S HIATUS AND HIS RETURN TO PORT CHARLES

GH fans will recall, it was back in February of 2026, that Burton announced via his Instagram that he was stepping away from his role of Jason Morgan for short break and pointed to wanting to spend quality time with his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom Burton with whom he tied the knot back on May 17, 2025.

Steve expressed at that time, “I’m newly married and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.” It was back on March 25 that viewers saw Jason carted away by the WSB after taking the fall for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) who shot then WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

Burton returned to work on June 1, and due to General Hospital taping roughly six weeks ahead of air, made his on-screen comeback on the July 13 episode.

GOING FOR GOLD AT THE UPCOMING DAYTIME EMMYS

Then, Steve and his enduring fans got an extra special treat on the same day, when it was revealed on Extra that he was nominated for the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category.

Steve previously won in the Supporting Actor category for his work as General Hospital’s Jason in 1998 and as The Young and the Restless’ Dylan McAvoy in 2018.

Now with Jason and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) relationship seemingly hitting the skids, plus Jason’s commitment to staying out of mob life to focus on being present for his son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), what does the future hold for the fan favorite character? Stay tuned.

So, happy to hear that Steve Burton signed a new three year deal with General Hospital? Knowing that, what storyline would you like to see Jason get involved and with who? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason and Britt Reach an Impasse; Is This the End of Their Relationship?

Published

on

By

Jason and Britt

On the Friday, September 11 episode of General Hospital, Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) relationship becomes strained to potentially the point of no return.

Things take a turn when an unglued Britt having been traumatized by almost being killed by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks Jason to back her up with the PCPD when she reports Anna for attempted murder.

However, Jason told Britt, he can’t. Jason shares that he does not believe Anna would have gone through with shooting her. Therefore, Britt was not in any real imminent danger. Britt is flabbergasted and hurt that Jason is refusing to tell the police what he actually witnessed for himself on Mount Emerson.

BRITT WANTS BACK UP FROM JASON

Jason counters that he can’t believe that Britt would want Anna punished. or sent to prison, or a mental facility after the trauma she endured while being locked up and mentally tortured while at Wyndemere.

He asks Britt, “How could you even say that you want her locked up or prosecuted for what she did when you knew she was being held prisoner and you did nothing to save her?” Britt is stunned by Jason’s response.

Coming up, official General Hospital spoilers share that on the upcoming Monday, September 14 episode, Jason confides in Carly (Laura Wright), while Britt is stung. In the video preview that aired at the end of the Friday, September 11 episode for this coming Monday, Britt says to Jason, “You don’t believe me. Do you?”

General Hospital head scribes, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte previously teased in their fall preview of the soap, “Britt and Jason have come a long way and fought a lot of enemies to be together. But the most stubborn obstacle to their happiness isn’t without, it’s within. Decisions Britt made to stay alive while under Cullum’s thumb will come back to haunt her and may prove too difficult for this unlikely couple to survive.”

So, what do you think will happen? Will Jason and Britt break-up over Britt’s lies and Jason’s unwillingness to report Anna’s crime against her? Do you want Jason and Britt to go their separate ways? If they do, will Britt become romantically involved with Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) ? If so, who do you pair Jason with? Anyone? Weigh-in via the comment section.
