GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Michael Needs to Find Daisy, Marco Seeks Revenge on Sonny
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, the just released ABC promo for the series reveals that several feuds are at the epicenter of the drama.
First, Sonny (Maurice Benard) is once again a prime suspect. This time for the death of Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, but will the autopsy report from Anna (Finola Hughes) get him off the hook?
Meanwhile, Lulu (Alexa Havins) lays the smackdown on Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) following Rocco (Finn Carr) coming to her about Britt Westbourne. Then, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) is seeking revenge for his mother, Natalia’s death and believes Sonny is the responsible party. Marco’s father, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), promises his son, Sonny won’t get away with it, especially since Sidwell is at a full out mob war with the “coffee importer.”

Then, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is full panic mode when she tells Michael (Rory Gibson), she checked the nursery and their baby, Daisy, is missing. Sasha says, “Michael, someone took our daughter!” And who could that be? Many are suspecting its Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). However, is Daisy really MIA or just moved around somewhere making it look like Sasha is an unfit mother? Stay tuned,
Here’s a look at the official GH spoilers for the week of July 7-11 below.
MONDAY, JULY 7

So, who do you think is pulling the strings on Daisy’s disappearance? Will Sidwell use his son Marco’s grief as a way to manipulate him to take down Sonny? Who’s side are you on … Brook Lynn or Lulu? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
I’m really not interested in the resurrection of Sonny’s endless and tedious Kingpin wars and will skip it. Also not interested in Lulu and BLQ’s mean girls’ approach to maternal/ paternal identity. The Drew and Willow storyline should be coming to its climatic peak but it doesn’t seem like that’s not happening until the end of summer. The Daisy kidnapping story could be interesting if written well. For instance, if Willow developed dissociative personality disorder and as “ Nelle” kidnapped Daisy after gaslighting Sasha. This should involve Nina, who has experienced a mental breakdown herself when she kidnapped baby Avery. Then enter, Erika Slezak as Vicky, who also suffered from DID on OLTL.
@Harry great observation… I can see your logical thinking… It would make for a great storyline in bringing back Erika Slezak’s character Victoria Lord… I’m over the Drew, Willow and Nina storyline… Sasha’s ex mother in law could also be behind Daisy’s disappearance… I can’t wait to find out…
Exactly! This is so boring and uninteresting
HATE LULU
I suspect Willow’s problem isn’t DID. It’s DBD.
“Drugged by Drew”. As in Ambien or some similar substance. Willow thinks she’s sleeping, but she’s effectively “sleepwalking” her way through hours at a time. Most of which (so far) seems to be focused on Mikey’s new baby.
As to how she’s getting around town… well some mortals have been known to attempt driving while in an “Ambien coma”. One of the Kennedys actually did this and ran his car right into a wall on a highway. He survived of course. And continued to shill for big pharma afterwards, even making speeches in Congress about how “dangerous” it would be to legalize cannabis, as opposed to his favorite sleeping aid that doesn’t even really help him sleep..
They also flirted with this story on GH before, with Liz taking these pills and doing some weird things, shortly after Frodd died. They dropped the plot pretty quickly though. Also did something similar on Days of Our Lives several years ago, where Hope was living an entirely different life at night, doing things a fully conscious Hope would never do… like running a prostitution ring!
Hmmm.. interesting theory. And going along with a certain referenced insane politician, maybe Willow has brain worm?
Lulu will want to know where he heard this of course, because of his age, as a good mother would wait to an appropriate time to have revealed this. Lulu will tell Roco the truth of how he ended up being carried to term by Britt and how they were unaware till much later.
Of course, she has stated how honesty with her kids is most important. The only way this charecter could retur. And claim full parental rights is if she can prove that Lulu is not the maternal egg used with Dante it was hers. She may have some recourse legally. But a stretch on the storyline.
Sasha baby happenings with diaper change and positioning and recent panic of baby not being in her crib is looking like Drew. He is behind this not Sidwell. Michael is on pain meds and Sasha was addicted. Where is this info going…to take the story line? Is Michael having possible side effects from the trauma? Is it the mob lady who disappeared Ms Woo as collateral damage for her safety to be insured. Also, when will it be come clear that in the tell all Ms Woo reveals the truth that Porshas daughter doesnt share DNA with her husband at all? Brad Cooper saw to this while under her paycheck. Thus leaving the detective as her biological dad after all. Nice end to the marraige. Drew will be written off the show in the next few months, possibly if Willow is taken by his orders after discovering what he has done while using her to take down the Quartermanes. In self defense she kills him.
I’m with Brooke Lynn. Lulu should mind her on business. Gone 4 yrs and you’re in everyone else’s lives. Not right!!!
Brook Lynne irks me. She’s a mouth breather, a bad dresser and always seems to be in a state of outrage. I’m not understanding the collective Lulu hate.
EXACTLY, can’t stand Lulu. I think her character is being ruined by the writers and the actress. Alexa Havins Bruening played her best wish she’d come back. But she’s such a hypocritical uppity B that the only people that like her are probably just like her irl lol
I’m on Brooklyn’s side as Lulu started this mess
Lulu needs to take something to cure her bud-densk attitude. Mind your own business messy lady
I’m on Brooklyn side can”,t stand lulu
Definitely on Brooklyn’s side can’t stand lulu
Lulu stumbled upon the information pertaining to Gio’s paternity- she did not look for it. Conversely, BLQ looked for dirt on Lulu with nefarious attentions. Yes, Lulu mishandled the situation but didn’t seek out to hurt Gio. Conversely, BLQ left Rocco’s 2 birth certificates out for him to find. Now she’s going to claim it was an accident but she’s not that stupid and that was her original plan after all. I don’t really have a dog in this fight as I don’t care for this storyline any more than I care about the two characters involved. But in my view, BLQ’s actions were worse than Lulu’s.
Lulu is a drama queen. She’s so self-righteous she needs to take a good look in the mirror before she starts accusing people of things.
I’m on Brook Lynn’s side Wish Lulu would go away
Lulu needs to go back to her coma! Cody should be found to be Gio’s bio dad.
That can’t happen as that would make Gio and Emma both Scorpios.
I don’t like Lulu she started everything she made her bed now she can sleep in it. I don’t feel sorry for Lulu at all. I love Brooklyn I hope things work out for her and Gio
BrookLynn just made things WORSE between her and Gio because of what she did to Lulu & Rocco.
Gio’s not even very close to his new little brother yet, but he can see this was complete dragonshit to put him through something like this.
And Brook can cry innocent all she wants, but the minute she dug up Britt’s files, it wasn’t with good intentions, and even if she had changed her mind in the end, well leaving such volatile information sitting around a mansion where 666 different people are coming and going 24/7… it’s not really an excuse.
Of course we all know the only real reason Britt’s name is suddenly being mentioned is because she’s about to be paroled from Hell. So it will be interesting to see what her take on all this dragonshit is when she gets back to Port Charles.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.
Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.
As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY
Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.
Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS
Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.
In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”
So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
