This week on General Hospital, Jason (Steve Burton) is caught between a rock and a hard place. First, after realizing he needs to be around for his son, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) more, and already considering leaving mob life, he has a conversation with Sonny (Maurice Benard) in the latest video promo from ABC. In it, Sonny shocks him by saying their way out is to sell the business to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), leaving Jason shell-shocked.

But that’s not all for Jason! Tracy (Jane Elliot) looks to be on a mission to locate Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) son. So, she wants to put Jason on the job to find the missing Quartermaine and her great-grandson. She firmly tells Jason “I want you to find him.”  Knowing for Jason, it could just be a matter of seconds before he figures out it’s Gio (Giovanni Mazza), who has been living at the Q mansion, or will someone throw him off track?

Lulu (Alexa Havins) who is now so piqued by the interaction she saw play out at the hospital hallways when Rocco (Finn Carr) was brought in for alcohol poisoning, between Lois (Rena Sofer), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Gio, she is determined to figure out where Brook Lynn and Lois were when the baby was born. In the preview clip, Carly (Laura Wright) asks, “Do you know who it is?” Lulu responds, “It’s Gio.” However, is that just an edited red-herring or the way the scene truly plays out? Will Lulu let Carly in on the big secret?

Finally, Willow is served, from what we surmise are divorce papers from Michael Corinthos, who had been recovering in a burn clinic in Germany. If this proves true, is Michael on his way back soon to reclaim full custody of his children, or has someone else served Willow for another reason, perhaps Drew (Cameron Mathison)? After all, we did see Willow come upon the strange vial in the manilla envelope in Drew’s jacket pocket which he claims was some concoction of vitamins to help him regulate his body after he was drugged with Ketamine.

Is it possible he is setting Willow up to take the fall for drugging him, so he can gain full custody of Amelia and Wiley, since they previously signed documents together, that if anything should happen to her, he would take care of her children? Stay tuned.

Now below, check out the official GH spoilers for the week of May 12-16.

MONDAY, MAY 12

Tracy presents a mission to Jason. Maxie seeks Anna’s advice. Curtis is suspicious. Emma gets bad news. Jordan updates Laura.

TUESDAYMAY 13

Carly warns Lulu. Curtis confides in Jordan. Trina opens up to Portia. Sonny surprises Laura. Josslyn makes a promise.

WEDNESDAYMAY 14

Carly and Jason strategize. Willow is heartbroken. Laura loses her cool. Drew makes a discovery. Alexis tries to get the upper hand.

THURSDAY, MAY 15

Lucky does some digging. Lucas visits Elizabeth. Ric receives an offer. Kristina does damage control. Gio confides in Sonny.

FRIDAY, MAY 16

Ava counsels Portia. Nina makes a big ask of Carly. Sonny seeks out Willow. Tracy reassures Brook Lynn. Lulu is on the hunt.

So, how do you think the truth about Gio being Brook Lynn and Dante’s son will be finally revealed? Is Michael the one serving Willow divorce papers, or is Drew up to something? Share your theories via the comment section. But first, check out this week’s ABC promo for General Hospital below.

Blargh… can we not have the gruesome twosome in the promo? Please? Carly does *not* need to be in the storyline right now at all… and I hope it’s Michael serving Willow upon his [potential] return next week!

I agree!

Carly is everywhere. She was involved in the Danny Rocco alcohol poisoning story, and now for some inexplicable reason, she’s involved in Brook Lynn’s adoption story. I’m really tired of her.

Carly and Sonny Hospital is what we’ve been back to with Elizabeth Korte at the helm, and I hate it.

I hate it as well. Aside from being tired of Carly centric stories,( yes, Sonny is constantly being propped as a front burner leading man but he generally stays in his lane) the history revisionism is especially irksome. As Carly lectures Lulu about the dangers of playing god, she makes a false equivalency between Lulu and Robin. The two situations are not the same at all. Robin saw how Carly badly manipulated and controlled both Tony and Jason using Michael’s paternity as a weapon. Robin put a stop to it and rightfully so. In that situation, Carly was clearly the bad guy but in the Brook-Lynn-Dante- Lulu situation, there are no bad guys.

Well Lulu already been asking around.. so so far she ahead of the game for Dante sake .. now Tracy ask Jason to look for the kid wow!!! He been right there for awhile… I’m surprised Brooklyn hasn’t figured it out herself as oddly as her mom been acting.. or Dante from what Losi said to him .. they just been dragging there feet on this . I’m team Lulu an Jason lol

Lulu is a bitch.

Is this supposed to be constructive criticism? Try elaborating without using derogatory terms.

Keep in mind, Dante doesn’t even know Brook Lynn had a baby as a teenager.

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Take a look at the official GH spoilers for the week below.

MONDAY, AUGUST 3
Jason makes a sacrifice for Danny. Elizabeth becomes privy to a secret. Carly is touched. Valentin has a warning for Nina. Josslyn cautions Brennan.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
