Friday’s episode of General Hospital was filled with guest stars, touching moments, a welcome return, the debut of Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Brandon Barash’s (Johnny) daughter, Harper Rose Barash, in the role of little Georgie, couples coming together for Valentine’s Day, and a shocker at the end of the hour for one of the residents of Port Charles.

Baby Daddy’s Melissa Peterman arrives in Port Charles in a fun turn as Mel,  a long time childhood friend of Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). While the two reminisce, it’s evident to Mel that Olivia has got it bad for Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) as Liv thinks she is nursing the flu. Ned is preparing Valentine’s Day dinner at the Q’s for Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with the famous chef JL, who later turns out to be Mel’s son!  When Alexis arrives, all hell breaks loose between the duo, when Ned questions her about being by Julian’s (William deVry) side at the hospital.  Alexis leaves after having Gazpacho soup spilled all over her in her haste to get away from Ned.

Meanwhile, in very touching scenes between Ryan Carnes (Lucas) and William deVry, Lucas explains that he was afraid to give Brad (Parry Shen) an answer, when Brad told Lucas he loves him and wants him to move in with him.  Julian says if he is scared it must be love, and urges Lucas to follow his heart, before he loses Brad.   After Brad complains to odd-man-out Felix (Marc Anthony Samuel) about Lucas, and wishes Britt was around to give him advice, Lucas shows up!  And in a grand gesture, Lucas jumps on to the nurses station counter, and in front of hospital staff admits to Brad that he loves him, and would love to move in with him.  Brad and Lucas share a major liplock!  Meanwhile, Julian gets a visit from Alexis who tells him that this is where she wants to be … with him!

Maxie is at home when Spinelli (Braford Anderson) arrives with Georgie.  She relates to Spinelli that Nathan (Ryan Paevey)  is upset with her for aiding and abetting Johnny in his escape, which has temporarily caused a rift in Naxie’s relationship on Valentine’s Day.  Back at the PCPD, Nathan is confronted by Assistant D.A. Natalie (visiting guest star Cristela Alonzo) on what happened between Johnny and his girlfriend.  Nathan, to save Maxie, claims Johnny broke into Maxie’s apartment and stole her car.  Natalia then questions Nathan as to why he isn’t with Maxie tonight.  When he explains they had a fight, she encourages him to patch things up with his lady love.  Meanwhile, Spinelli comes clean with Maxie.  Ellie broke up with him … over Maxie!

Elsewhere, Patrick (Jason Thompson) is called away to surgery and can’t begin his Valentine’s Day dinner with Sam (Kelly Monaco), quite yet.  Sam is taken to the Metro Court by Baby Daddy guest star Derek Theler, who plays a plastics doctor Derek, whose date is also delayed.  The two chat and Sam encourages him to go to his date and surprise her!  Patrick eventually makes it to his date with Sam!

After Mel shows up at the Q’s and confronts Ned about how he is treating her girl, Olivia, Ned gets a clue!  He heads over to the Metro Court to see Olivia.  Meanwhile, Olivia is on the phone with the doctor about her flu symptoms where the doctor informs Liv she is pregnant!

What did you think about GH’s Valentine’s Day episode?  What was your favorite part of the episode?  What couple were you most happy to see get together on the day of love?  Did you need the hankies when Lucas professed his love for Brad?  Were you surprised by the ending, even though viewers know in real life Lisa LoCicero was pregnant?  Share your thoughts below!

FAVORITE: Oliva is preggars for yet another soapy ‘Who da Cook(dada) that put a bun in Olivas oven’…lol…is it Julian(haha booby Alexis if its Jules…lol)or Ned…hope its done like the baby AJ storyline with Monica, Alan and Rick from GHs glory days…hope its a girl named Poco…Olivia can introduce daughter Poco to Olivias grandson Rocco…lol

It’s Julian’s.

Most likely…

Julian. is the baby daddy. this would be exciting as Olivia & Julian’s NYE hook-up was unexpectedly HOT! Also, I think it’s Julian’s baby because the actor who plays him is on contract, whereas Wally Kurth (Ned), sadly is not.

Dr.O shouldve been on and got after Lucas for standing on that hospital desk…

I think Ned will be on the canvas more… I really hope so. Love that man! His smile, his warm eyes, that snark that he can dole out on a dime… Grounded and intelligent. But I digress. Of course it’ll be Julian’s just as Julian and Alexis get back together and Ned realizes he’s romantically into Olivia.

Liv hasn’t slept with Ned yet. So it is Julian’s

@mk – oh yeah. I wasn’t sure if I missed an episode. that NYE episode had many images of the four characters in and out of bed with one another. So, another mob boss has potent sperm! hahaha

Yes, jimh! That would have been a laugh riot! I can just picture Liesl incandescent with ire over the fact that such an unsanitary practice was taking place in HER hospital……and paging the housekeeping staff to drag the Karcher steam cleaning unit to the floor STAT!

mk…i missed a couple episodes and didnt know that…maybe Liv will not want Julian to be the dada and will have a quickie with Ned so he’ll think he is the papa ro be…we need some more drama in the Q mansion!!!

Loved seeing Spin back although Georgie looked younger than the last time we saw her.

Spin was a nice suprise…

That’s because “Georgie” is a different baby this time around, and if the information I read is correct, she is KS’s actual daughter with BB, Harper Rose Barash.

Georgie was born before the current baby playing her wish happens to be Kristen storm and Brandon barash real life daughter Harper rose.

Favorite part of the episode was the end, I’m not a fan of these special theme episodes, well some, not all and the valentine one was just to corny and Lucas and brad as a couple is horrible, Lucas should be with Felix, talk about good guy finishing last, brad the skank gets rewarded for being a snake and poor Felix is stuck doing overtime at work, how sad. As for Olivia being pregnant no surprise there.

Oh and Sam with Patrick really boring, I think Sam in general is boring so no matter who she’s paired with she always acts like just talking takes an effort.

I’m with you, Aria. I saw part of GH while working out at the gym and had no idea who any of those people were.

Agree with all you said…

What an awful episode

Awful is being generous. What a terrible episode on so many levels.

First, why the cameos and who were any of those people? What was the point of having on people that no one knows? How very special.

But the episode was very telling about the current state of GH or Plot Point Hospital. There are no relationships. There are no romances so what do you do on Valentines Day? Schtick.

What was the Ned/Alexis stuff? There is no current relationship there, none. There is also no Julian/Alexis relationship. Can anyone tell me how many scenes they have had together in the last six months? Why are they a couple, because they have a ship name, Julexis? Because fans are so desperate for a romantic couple that they pretend there’s something there? So of course, after seeing no Ned/Alexis relationship, we get some contrived argument. What is the point, really?

Then go to Naxie. No real relationship there either, except they finally had sex and spent two or three episodes in bed, primarily so TPTB can get Nathan’s shirt off. So what happens? Naxie has a fight the day Spinelli arrives. And guess what he’s broken up with Ellie. How contrived can it all be? GH shows no relationships, they just fast forward to the break ups.

It really is just that awful.

I don’t think Ron knows how to write romance–there’s no build up, no sense of tension, excitement, no climatic action (no pun intended).
Characters are just thrown together the way the shirt is thrown together with the pants in the spin cycle of the washer machine while socks lose their mates in the dryer.
Sorry, it’s laundry day.

apparently they are from other ABC shows… that no one watches! bwahahahaha

now if they had people from their more popular shows, like Scandal or Modern Family or the Middle, that would have been better!

these people were probably cheaper 😉

Utterly awful, Lawrence! Except for the last moment when Ms. Falconeri received the news she is expecting a “Julivia” offspring. YES!!!! Take that, Alexis! (But how I wish that chilled gazpacho had been dumped down her ever-prominently displayed décolletage!)

You and I agree on this subject, Shay. You just put your words to music better than I do.
What can I say? I’m tone deaf.

We are on the same page here, Shay…i love Olivia and Julian together…who knew…sometime ago i disliked Olivia…strange how that changed once she was with Julian…Alexis can use her booby traps on some other guy!!!

@jimh…..Oh you do have a way with words!!!! Yes, Alexis definitely should spring those “traps” on another sap….personally, I’d put her with Fluke! They deserve each other……LOL.

Kudos!

Sam/Patrick were the best thing about the whole episode. I loved the fact she was so understanding with him and then he finally made it to the Metro Court. I also enjoyed Julian/Sam/Lucas in scenes together, not sure why you only mentioned Lucas/Julian, Sam was very much involved in the conversation about Brad also. I loved the fact Kelly Monaco was in scenes with several different people. She is the best and one of the most interesting and exciting actress’ on the show. She is the reason I watch GH.

But Sam and Patrick just seem like buddies. And there is a four letter word which begins with F which should preface ‘buddies.’

fabulous, yes they are! I love them and the honesty they have with each other, love the flirtiness of their relationship. My buddies and I certainly don’t have the vibes those two do between them. I love them and you are welcome to your opinion.

F buddies. Thats okay. I think they both feel that their past loves may somehow end up being in their laps again?

I agree with you, Lovesam1122, Patrick and Sam are great together…lovers based on friendship first…the attraction grew…they flirt, they confide in each other…very easy rapport. I also love that Patrick gets the son he’s wanted so badly by bonding with Danny. Unfortunately everything will be turned upside down when Jason is revealed. It’ll be interesting to see how all the couples will play out.

I was all, wait … What? Who are these people? when the episode started. The Jerome Davis Jones trio all getting some good love was fun to watch. Olivia, no. Sorry. Not liking that contrived angst when there is so much better to choose from that seems far better established for #Julexis. Olivia and Ed have something, let it fly! Speaking of Olivia, sure missed Dante!

Beth, to paraphrase Dean Martin, “How did all these people get in my living room?”

I don’t remember Olivia sleeping with Ned so I hope there is not going to be another who’s the father story. The baby is Julian’s unless she slept with a stranger we don’t know about.

Seeing Spinelli return to Port Charles with Georgie. Loved the Spixie scenes. Everything else was awful.

I will include Spinnelli as being awful. He was a one trick pony but I guess since Stone Cold will rise soon, Spinnelli is needed.

I always enjoyed Spinelli due to his immense intellect and impressive vocabulary….plus, it was such a thrill to see BA’s almost-Asperger’s-afflicted character mainstreamed with the rest of Port Charles’ residents—particularly in his romance with Maxie—but I do have to question whether the current writing team will be able to re-capture his quirky brilliance and idiosyncratic use of language. For me, his unique form of communication was a great part of Spin’s charm, thus, I am hoping we will not be subjected to a dumbed-down version of him, as we have so many other legacy characters.

The show was wasted with too many guest stars stealing screen time from what should have been a show devoted to the show’s couples– so overall the episode was a dud for me- but perhaps some viewers loved it. No my favorite moment was finding out Liv is with child. I don’t keep up with actor’s private lives so I had no idea she was pregnant in real life, so this was a complete surprise made perfect by her expression on her face. Mercifully there won’t be any whose the daddy drama because it is obvious it is Julian’s, but it will fun seeing the fallout– can’t wait

It was a -different- and a FUN episode !!!

Cristela Alonzo was fun !
wow! on Derek Theler! he is HOT ‘seeing’ him only for moments was great!!
Melissa Peterman with Ned and Olivia was a fun watch! I laughed ..
Those three and Spinelli were the best part of GH on Valentines..

As for the love scenes I give it to— Lucs and Brad .. well done!!

I liked today’s episode. It was fun. I hope Ned and Olivia become a couple. Although the scenes with Olivia and Julian were hot. Better watch out Alexis.
Lucas’s declaration of love for Brad was sweet.

Is Spinelle back for a while or no?

I’ve read Spinelli is back for a year…

That’s grand. I’m for a Maxie & Spinelli pairing, finally!

Well I’m glad it’s not just me. I didn’t have a clue who all the strange guest stars were supposed to be either. Something else that became obvious was that GH doesn’t actually have any strong relationships of any sort. I mean, a viewer who didn’t watch every single day could have tuned in and had absolutely no clue that Jullian is supposed to be the father of both Sam and Lucas or that Sam and Lucas even knew each other because those relationships have never been developed.

Another thing that really bugged me was Lucas’s Tom Cruise moment jumping on a desk and declaring how he really loved this man. What did I miss because the last beat in their relationship I remember was Lucas pushing for a threesome. Even worse I think their Valentine’s Day insta-love is just a cheap setup for one or both to be killed of as part of the Fluke/Michael’s clinic story.

Sorry to be so negative but Friday’s show was a huge train wreck. With that I’m off for a genuinely lovely Valentine’s Day evening.

lol’KM said;
” I didn’t have a clue who all the strange guest stars were supposed to be either.”

what??
No clues were needed ..

1st one came on a Olivia’s friend from back when kids,,
It was the first thing said.. no clue needed, that is who she was..
A here and gone moment..

The second one;
She came in as the district attorney, and was introduced as so from 1st sentence, no clue needed ..lol
A here and gone moment..

Ohh the guy was gorgeous!! He was a Doc and said/shown to be so , no clue needed…

They crossing over to GH was advertised, clips shown, and in twitter for weeks before their GH visit.

and you did ”miss something” with Brad and Lucs, they had become very close and it was shown more than once their closeness/ their couple developing had become endearing….

And Lucas and Julian have developed.. they have become close, it took awhile but there is love.. I watched them grow as father son..

I think you watched a couple minutes of GH and are lost lol 🙂

KM–too funny. I loved your Tom Crusie reference.
I

Loved seeing Spinelli…Bradford is such a natural. And he’s so cute in his own way. He and Maxi still feel right together. Glad to see Felix…shame they reduced him to non-existent. Thought Mel was hilarious. Tacky, street, loud…but tell-it-like it is chick. Thought the baby daddy dude was weirdly good–looking and somehow charming. Thought the episode was light and cute…needed after the dark Fluke days. Fun, and set up the coming Julian, Olivia, Ned, Alexis, baby drama. Hoping Spinelli’s back for good.

Me too, Rebecca. Spinelli and Maxi just fit–like two missing puzzle pieces.
In fact, Spin said as much today to Maxie.

Who knew that Brad and Lucas would be the only romantic couple??? I want more Brad and Lucas. Disappointed with no Maxie and Nathan, Patrick and Sam, etc. Even Liv qnd ned were together to she is preggers by Ned’s rival. No Weddings. A daytime Valentine’s staple. In fact none of the soaps had weddings.

I didn’t get to see Friday’ s Valentine special, but reading the summary and comments it doesn’t look like I missed much. Sounds like the writers feel more comfortable putting together the bizarre/gimmicky instead human dynamics and relationships. That doesn’t mean it should be all sucky…I want dramas , adventure, mystery and betrayal, etc. It makes me wonder if the writers only communicate by texting and social media, and try to get dates with online dating services. In other words they don’t feel comfortable with one-on-one, face-to-face anymore, if they ever did.

59 minutes of trash, just watch the very end.

Hi Rose.. ohh I love syfy anything, too..
didja know– GH was the only soap to even have valentines couples, actually?
BB and Y&R nada .. lol

I guess I get a little sentimental sometimes, especially Valentine’s day. Would like to see some real romance, even if it’s only for a little while. Reading some of your comments I thought you might like sci-fi.

Loved the episode! Love Julian & Alexis. Love Nathan & Maxie. Love Lucas & Brad. Love Olivia being pregnant. Never understood all the Olivia hate on here. And Tony Geary rules! Just gimme my Laura back. If she comes back to rescue Luke, that would be EPIC! Laura as rescuer comes cull circle!!!!!!! My first GH episode was the one where Laura killed David Hamilton, so I’m ride or die with Laura Webber Baldwin Spencer!

Yes! GH did have great valentine couples.. I really liked Spin and Maxie!
Ned did go to Olivia in the end.. Lucas and Brad declaring their love.. Julian and Alexis together again.. Sonny, Carly and baby into the sunset, Nathan protected the woman he loves.. Sam and Patrick did get together in the end….
Y&R had some young people in a cabin drinking and playing a drinking game, for its’ big valentines love stuff lol ..and a betrayed getting revenge on his wife and son.. LOL

I guess Julian has what Sonny has had all along…..sleep with a woman once and she gets pregnant. LOL

Mobster sperm is strong!

Thats funny!

Anticipating romance, I soon felt deflated. I was hoping for more couples time and got the opposite. New faces taking up precious screen time from our faves. Silliness abounded. Seems the powers that be give Gen Hospital lovers what they don’t want. Why can’t they just focus on the characters already established? I really got annoyed with the guest stars, and the Brad and Lucas scenes seemed forced, just like they decided they had to feature a same sex couple.

For a sweeps show this was awful. Granted there are no real love stories right now but nothing turned me on so to speak. So, since it was the Valentines episode, here we go:

Loved it: Melissa Peterman’s appearance. Why? She seemed to fit right in with the rest of the cast and I would hire her to run Kelly’s Diner because I could see her having chemistry with whomever she is acting opposite.

Hated it: Ned looking like a fool. Why the hell can’t we just say who we love and not beat around the bush! Glad he went off to see Liv. I love those two together, regardless of her being preggers with JJ’s baby.

Loved it: Brad having a conversation with Dr. Giant’s nipples in the locker room!

Hated it: Lucas standing on the counter expressing his love for Brad. Its just would never happen in a hospital. It looked really John Hughesish! [RIP]

What I would have rather seen: Franco making out with Nina in Shadybrook and tripping on LSD as he unlocks his lips from Nina’s and sees a multi-colored Carly cartoon figure hallucination, horns and a pitchfork and all.

Wow…. I agree with so many: this past thurs and fri eps were uninteresting

thursday : Sonny took his daughter from Kiki. I don’t know when she’s leaving the show… but this isn’t helping Ava cause . I thought Kiki w/Alexis help suing for custody… would be Kiki exit story… for once she sets her foot down and respects her mother and will do any thing she can to help out her mom. If Kiki is the legal guardianship… and Ava has been presumed dead…. regardless that Sonny is the biological sperm…. wouldn’t this have even given Kiki more rights ? as she’d be declared the step mother ? it’s not like Sonny and Ava ever got married

Friday : Valentines DAY ep ? dull, uninteresting….

Sam and Patrick date was delayed… hohum
Ned and Alexsis date squashed… as she declares her love for Julian … hohum
even Spinelli showing up at the door with Georgia at Maxies was lackluster

2 things that stood out :

the potential is all their for Tyler Christopher’ Nikolas Cassadine to let loose and stronghold his manhood and steer with gusto personality fire and drive… no more mr. nice guy

the writing on this one was suspect… it’s not like “Jake doe” truly knows he’s Jason , yet, so the musunderstanding…. ” I though there wold no more lies” Liz and Ric… at the court house…. Ric is threatened by “Jake Doe ” and this puts a wrench inbetween these two…

which, if “Jake Doe” has a potential pairing in the wings…. he smolders with Liz then with either Sam and Carly combined.

liked that Lucas declared his love for Brad.
liked that Livia is pregnant

overall : very lax and absolutely no romance

the only good part was the phone call at the end! I wish Olivia would “see” more things… maybe she will start seeing more now that she’s preggor.

must be julians.

maxie got pregnant new years’ eve… and you know they like to redo same ideas.

I was hoping Ellie would be on the show… bummer

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

Published

on

By

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

Photo: JPI

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

Published

on

By

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
