On the Wednesday, February 4 episode of General Hospital, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) executes her new plan to get full custody of her children from Michael (Rory Gibson), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Mac (John J. York) and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) wind up in France and are shocked by the shape they find Anna (Finola Hughes) in, and Jason (Steve Burton) reveals to Sonny (Maurice Benard), who is responsible for trying to kill him and setting the fire to his penthouse that sent Michael to a burn clinic in Germany and more.

First, now in France, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Mac (John J. York) go to see Anna inside her room at the mental health clinic. Anna’s doctor explains that she has been through some type of traumatic ordeal. Sadly, when the Scorpios see Anna, she begs them to get her out of the clinic because she has to stop Faison, and that he is alive.

Anna goes to explain how she was kidnapped, chloroformed in Port Charles and taken to a small room. The super spy and PCPD commissioner (who is on leave) spells out how Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was in the room when her Polycythemia Vera reared its head and gave her a blood treatment. Felicia explains to her that Liesl has been in Port Charles this entire time.

A GASLIGHTED ANNA LEADS TO A MENTAL BREAK?

As she continued on, Anna explains how Faison talked to her through an intercom, which Mac thinks is impossible, because he’s dead, but Anna fires back that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) were believed dead and are alive, so that could be true for Faison! Next, Anna says Peter August (Wes Ramsey) also visited her in her cell, causing major worry for Mac and Felicia how their friend has seemingly lost it!

The doctor tells the Scorpios that Anna cannot be moved to the United States at this point, because she is also facing assault charges and she is advising that Anna stay in France until she is mentally strong enough to return to Port Charles.

Emma insists on seeing her grandmother. When she goes in, Emma is gut-punched to see what bad shape Anna is in; especially when she tells Emma that Faison is keeping an eye on them. Anna tells her to go before it’s too late, but Emma doesn’t want to leave her like this. Anna gets even more upset and agitated. Suddenly, the doctor and an orderly give her a sedative to calm Anna down. The episode featured excellent performances by Finola Hughes and Braedyn Bruner.

JASON IS ON TO CULLUM

Meanwhile, Jason visits Sonny and tells him Anna is in terrible trouble, but instead of going after her, he has to first stay in Port Charles to help Britt. Jason reveals to Sonny what Britt told him in confidence, that she is being forced to work for Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Jason also reveals that Cullum has involvement as the one who tried to kill Sonny and set fire to the penthouse that caused Michael his burns. Sonny wants to take Cullum out. Jason says they have to wait because he has to get his hands on Britt’s medication to reverse engineer it. He needs Cullum alive for now, otherwise Britt could die too.

WITH THIS KEY, I THEE FRAME YOU

Michael and Willow meet with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric (Rick Hearst) to work out a custody agreement to present to the judge for Amelia and Wiley. Willow thinks she’s in a better position than Michael and wants to take her chances in court; especially since he has been dating a hooker and was seen at the scene of Drew’s shooting. Alexis pipes up that Drew blackmailed Judge Heran and then killed her. Willow can’t believe she would lose her kids because of Drew, now that he is incapacitated.

Next, Michael says Willow can have the kids every other weekend and a month during the summer, but Willow balks at that set-up. Willow says Michael’s rule was to keep Drew out of the kids’ lives, and since he is basically in a coma and unable to talk, what’s the problem?

Alexis proposes a 60/40 custody split in Michael’s favor. Willow says she needs a minute to think about it, and so she wants to be alone. She walks out into the waiting area. Her next move … but of course! She grabs Michael’s key ring from his jacket pocket and adds Drew’s house key to it.  Willow walks back inside the law office and says she is fine with the custody terms. Alexis says she’ll draw up the papers and give them to the judge.

So, who is going to help Anna escape the mental facility? Will it be Jason or Emma? Is she so far gone from being drugged and gaslighted by Cullum, Pascal, Sidwell, and company? What did you think of Willow’s move with the key ring, where someone will find that Michael has Drew’s house key, making him look guiltier than ever? Is Willow about to get full custody of her children? Weigh-in via the comment section below. But first, check out these key scenes featuring Finola Hughes from today’s GH.

Braedyn is a real find for this show. As Emma, she has the ability to drive story for years to come.

Some of Finola’s best work in a while.

I absolutely agree. The fact that this young actress can hold her own in scenes with the amazingly gifted Finola Hughes speaks volumes about her talent. They were completely believable as grandmother and granddaughter. While I don’t enjoy seeing the formidable Anna Devane in this weakened state yet again, these two actresses are making it worth watching.

Finola is fantastic as always.
I find the rest of this story very confusing. I don’t like when I can’t follow a soap’s logic.

I suspect this story will begin to pick up now. What you have seen the last few months, with Anna trapped in the underground dungeon, tripping balls on unknown psychedlics, and hallucinating visits from Faison & Whiny Heiny, I’m thinking this was a clever way to cover for Finola’s usual three month vacation. They likely filmed all the “dungeon scenes” before hand, and since they didn’t really disrupt the continuity of any other storylines, they could slip a scene into an episode every week or two, and make her extended absence far less noticeable.

So now that she’s somehow ended up in France, I’m guessing that’s when she came back to work for real, so hopefully we will see some movement here.

Now on the other horn… she’s in France. The last we saw of Robert Scorpio, he was also in France. Is that just a coincidence, or did they bring the Scorpios to France to set up the sad story of Robert’s departure from the mortal realm?

I love Finola Hughes and love Braeden Bruner as Emma( I still see the WSB in her future) but this storyline is dragging, like Anna said since Halloween, and I hope its Anna who saves herself along with the Scorpios, because well Jason decided his new young gf is more important to save,Drew is now learning what happens to you when you go young. (way to go willow), ok, I’m projecting but the show needs to start moving things along, with almost all their storylines playing out right now, I mean Valetin is just living in the attic, and Nathan is more interested in hooking up with Lulu then finding out where he’s been for the past seven years, what’s up with Chase obsession with getting Michael back for stealing Willow from him?

‘General Hospital’ Casts Australian-Born Wil Traval as the Mysterious Jude

Wil Travel

General Hospital is welcoming yet another new face to the canvas when Australia native Wil Traval join the cast as a mysterious stranger named Jude, who will arrive in Port Charles come October.

Traval becomes the second new Australian-born actor to join the cast. It was back on July 13, that GH viewers first saw Dean Geyer in the role of Dr. Tristan Roberts, whose name is an homage to the late Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio, GH). Could Jude and Tristan be related?

If not that theory, might Jude join the mystery involving JJE (Jasper Jacks Enterprises), which is currently under the investigation by the WSB? Since Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) father, Jasper Jacks, is from down under, could Jude be connected business-wise or otherwise, to the mysterious Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) who came to Port Charles with several agendas?

FROM DOWN UNDER TO PORT CHARLES

Traval is a native of Victoria, Australia, who had a recurring role in Season 3 of The CW’s Dynasty. In the primetime soap reboot, Traval played Father Caleb Collins, whose faith was put to the test when he developed feeling for Cristal Carrington (Daniella Alonso).

The GH newcomer is no newcomer to TV and film roles with an extensive credits including: Netflix’s Jessica Jones, ABC’s Red Widow and Grey’s Anatomy, Arrow, Chicago P.D., Grimm and Once Upon a Time, to name but a few.

In his homeland of Australia, Traval is best known for portraying Dr. Jack Quade in the medical drama All Saints, and Detective Peter Church in the crime drama White Collar Blue.

So far in the last couple of months, General Hospital had brought on the following casting additions, the aforementioned Geyer and Appel, plus Kayden Brenna Tokarski (Scout Cain), Kelly Kruger (Serena Baldwin), Alimi Ballard (William Baines), Kearran Giovanni (Dr. Nichols) and Blythe Howard, who will debut next week on the Wednesday, September 23 episode as Monet.

So, with all the newbies hitting the screens on GH, is hard for you to keep up, or are you excited to see how Jude fits into the storyline with the arrival of Wil Traval this fall? Let us know your thoughts via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: The WSB Extradites Nina After Drew Frames Her for Jack’s Disappearance

Published

Nina Reeves

It was not a good day on the Thursday, September 17 episode of General Hospital for Nina Reeves. However, while it was not a good day for Nina, it was a good day for GH fans because of the performance (as per usual) of Daytime Emmy winner, Cynthia Watros who is at the epicenter of this leg of the story.

In story, Nina has been dragged down to the PCPD and Agent Baines (Alimi Ballard) shows Nina, and her now lawyer, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), evidence of Jack (Chris McKenna) Brennan’s wallet found in Nina’s car. Baines says he has enough evidence to extradite Nina immediately.

Nina loses it and fumes and cries. Baines instructs Ric to get his client to cooperate before heading into the squad room to tell Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Nina would be transferred to a WSB facility. Now alone with Ric, Nina tells him she is being framed. She did nothing to Jack other than have a public argument with him. Ric asks her if she can think of anyone who would frame her for Jack’s disappearance or possible murder?

After not giving Ric any thoughts as to who could be framing her, Baines returned and informs Nina she is being extradited and taken into WSB custody immediately. Just as a frantic Nina is being carted away, Ava (Maura West) has shown up at the police station and witnessed the whole thing.

AVA LEARNS EXACTLY WHAT NINA AND WILLOW DID TO DREW

Earlier in the episode, Ava got a mouthful from Drew (Cameron Mathison). He informed her that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nina drugged him for months with a paralytic drug and he never had a stroke. He also informed her Willow shot him.

Ava was not surprised about Willow shooting him in the back. However, Drew told Ava that Nina tried to kill him when she pushed him into the water at the Quartermaine boathouse while he was locked in his wheelchair.

Drew admits to framing Nina with Brennan’s wallet, although Ava is upset because Nina is her friend. He then reminds Ava that Nina also gave her drugs, induced labor and stole her baby. Ava says Nina is a very different person now than she was then. A vengeful Drew wants Nina to suffer after all she did to him, plus he has a plan for taking down Willow next.

So, what do you think of Nina being taken into custody by the WSB? How will she get out of the new hell she is in? Do you think Ava will help her friend, or continue to help Drew because of their alliance to take down Sonny? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

Kelly Monaco and Billy Miller

Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam McCall, General Hospital) has taken to her Instagram for the second time this week and now honors her late dear friend and General Hospital co-star, Billy Miller (ex-Drew Cain) on what would have been his 47th birthday on September 17.

In her post, Monaco wished Billy “a heavenly birthday” and shared a typewritten note from her beloved co-star after he exited General Hospital in the role of Drew Cain. The three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor played the part from 2014-2019.

Monaco wrote accompanying the photo of Billy’s letter: “He (Billy) sent me this a few years ago, after he left (the show) wanting me to post it… I didn’t/ But… I know he wanted anyone who’s ever supported his work and or got to know him as a friend to read this letter.”

BILLY MILLER WON THREE DAYTIME EMMYS FOR HIS WORK IN SOAPS

Billy Miller was one of the most respected actors to ever grace the daytime screens for his portrayals as Richie Novack on All My Children from 2007-2008 and Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless from 2008 until 2014 and of course, his final soap stop on General Hospital. He also appeared on primetime’s Ray Donovan and Suits.

TOUCHING GOODBYE LETTER AFTER EXITING GENERAL HOSPITAL

Here now, is what Billy shared in his letter after exiting GH: “Hello, friends… With a slight air of sadness it is time to ponder what ‘goodbye’ means. However, instead of dwelling on what is gone and sure to be missed, there is another way.”

“Maybe our goodbye is really a remembrance of love felt, an appreciation for lives shared and the lifelong reminiscences that come from embraces given and received, Maybe our goodbye is an earnest hope for the brightest path forward for us all,” expressed Miller. “Maybe our goodbye is honoring growth and lessons learned.”

The beloved star added, “Now, instead of sadness, I am filled with gratitude for all your support, encouragement and every emotion shared. I cherish the journey we have taken together, Thank you for allowing me into your homes and lives. With every ounce of myself, I thank you for being you. I would be remiss in this crazy, unpredictable world we all love so much if I did not hold out the possibility that maybe our goodbye is really… until next time.”

Sadly, Billy died by suicide three years ago on September 15, 2023, just two days shy of what would have been his 43rd birthday.  You can check out Kelly’s post below.

Now, share your remembrances today of Billy Miller and the touching letter he wrote after leaving General Hospital, that Kelly Monaco posted in tribute to her friend and co-star via the comment section below.
