GENERAL HOSPITAL: Carly and Jason’s Emotional Reunion Is Cut Short When John and Anna Arrive on the Scene

If you watch daytime drama and General Hospital you know that there is an unique bond and deep love between the characters of Carly Spencer and Jason Morgan. You also know that when Laura Wright (Carly) and Steve Burton (Jason) get together in scenes with high stakes and high drama, they deliver in spectacular fashion.

On today’s, Friday, March 8th episode of the ABC daytime drama series, Carly is in for quite the shock when her beloved Jason is standing right there in the dark and in her living room. For two years, Carly has grieved Jason’s ‘death’, only for him to be right before her.

With tears in his eyes, and just saying “Carly”, it stops her dead in her tracks.  She runs towards Jason and they share an emotional reunion. You came back,” Carly cries. Jason says he is sorry it took so long to contact her. Problem is, Jason has been shot and is bleeding out and needs her help. Jason obviously had no where to go, and is only letting himself truly be known to Carly, because he can trust her with his life and vice-versa.

Carly goes to get a first-aid kit, and tells Jason to promise he won’t leave. He promises. But as he sits down on the couch, he is in bad shape. Carly returns as they clean the bullet wound area. Still in shock, Carly says, “How can you be here?”

Things get very touching when Carly tells Jason she wishes she could call her mom for help. Jason tells her not to call Bobbie. Just then, Carly says she can’t because her mother died. Jason goes, “Bobbie died?” As soon as the two were going to talk about it, there is pounding noises at Carly’s front door. It’s John (Adam J. Harrington) and Anna (Finola Hughes). Jason hides.

Anna asks Carly if they can come in. They show her the screen capture of Jason on the roof. Carly plays it very convincingly asking FBI agent Cates and Anna if this image of Jason is real.  Anna confirms Jason is alive and they need to search her house. Carly firmly tells them they cannot search the house, but they tell her they have a warrant and don’t have to have her permission.  Jason listens in from the staircase. We fade to black.

Hopefully, Carly is calling Diane to keep them from searching her house. I thought it took more than someone possibly visiting a friend to obtain a warrant on such short notice anyway. I don’t like Anna in her new/old job. I hope Sonny gets that Jagger guy, I can’t stand him, what an arrogant S.OB he is.

Wow; amazing how we all have such different views on the same characters. I absolutely LOVE this new Jagger! I love his role, and the actor is stunning. I just hope they keep him on and he’s not just here for this story arc. And he’s not arrogant. Did you watch back in the day? He’s justified in his feelings toward Sonny and what Sonny did to Karen (who was Scotty’s daughter and the reason he and Sonny don’t get along). As for the others? I thought his dialogue with Maxi and Spinelli was hilarious. He’s got this great, charming albeit snarky demeanor even as he stands his ground. Love it!

As for the warrant, that could have come from John/Jagger; he’s the FBI and can make things happen quickly. It made sense to me; there was a shooting, Dante’s life is on the line and Jason has been identified. Moving quickly was the correct thing to do.

Well, I guess you told me, huh? It still doesn’t make you right, and I happen to have Websters on my side, except they didnt have a photo to go with the description, so let’s just agree to disagree. As you said ,we all have different views of people and lately we don’t seem to see eye to eye on too much.

LOL; calm down Violet. I said it was “amazing how people have different views on the same characters.” You can feel what YOU feel, and I can disagree! What I also said was I didn’t think he was “arrogant.” He’s FBI, and he’s also Karen’s ex; the girl that Sonny fed drugs, made strip at his club and had sex with when she was seventeen. He has a right to his attitude toward Sonny, and he has a right to do his job and not bow down to Carly or any of the other characters. So what you see as “arrogant” I see as a realistic portrayal…actually a softer portrayal…then a real life FBI agent would be treating any of the people he’s been questioning.

Reading Rebecca1 and Violet Lemm having a go at each other has become the best soap opera within the soap comments !

Keep it up ladies, you do entertain!

Hey Violet, how are you? Rebecca was merely remarking about the subjectivity of opinions. She was not at all correcting you. I think in time John Cates will grow on you. He could use a better haircut though.

Agreed. This guy is true leading man material. He’s a gem and evokes prime time status. Handsome, charismatic and talented-GH is lucky to have him. Moreover, it’s refreshing to finally have someone from law enforcement stand up to Sonny. We have not seen that since Taggert.

Well, if you believe Carly and Felicia can fly to Amsterdam, then Canada, then back to Port Charles within two hours, then its not that unbelievable that Jagger and Anna got a warrant on short notice. Oh and let’s not forget the whole coming back from the dead thing… LOL

I don’t like John at all he’s out get sunny doesn’t care how he just wants sunny pay for his past mistakes so happy Jason back but where he going go next

Over the years we’ve made fun of Carly’s clunkers and the way she walks. Today, had to be the worst when she entered her home and started walking around. She could have raised the dead!

Technically, since Jason showed up, she did raise the dead.

Rob! Absolutely love your comment.

Too many people truly put “too much expected reality” on the soaps!

Soaps are fictional story telling, except when they tackle real medical stories.

LOL, Violet—Carly’s stomping actually woke me up from my nap. HaHa❤️

They don’t call her Clod-Hopping- Carly for nothing!

Jason’s “I’m sorry it took so long” and Carly’s “I don’t want to leave you” tore my heart out twice.
J&C have been everything for 28 years now.

I watched Jason’s 2017 return story arc before this week’s kickoff. Jason and Carly’s reunion on Friday’s episode wasn’t that different from their reunion in 2017. When she told him that Bobbie died, it was similar to the scene where they talked about Morgan’s death. I look forward to seeing how this story arc unfolds. But it looks like this past week’s episodes were written by the outgoing head writers. Does anyone know when the new head writers stories begin airing?

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Cullum Kidnaps Obrecht as Britt’s Replacement to Finish Faison’s Final Project

Published

WSB director Ross Cullum is truly as despicable villain as they come, and played with steely intensity by Andrew Hawkes. For the double agents latest crime, you need to look no further than the Friday, June 5 cliffhanger of General Hospital, where in the episode’s final moments he sneaks up on an unassuming Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) after hiding in the back seat of her car.

Next, he chloroforms her with his intent clear. He plans on forcing her to finish the last leg of Faison’s final project at Wyndemere, since her daughter Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) left town with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) in tow to get away from Cullum!

In what led to the kidnapping, Cullum had a terse conversation with his business associate and co-conspirator on the project, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). It is Sidwell who is preoccupied with wanting to bring Marco’s killer to justice (not knowing it’s the man right in front of him!). Sidwell told Cullum if bringing Marco’s killer to justice wasn’t a priority for the WSB director, then why should protecting Cullum be a priority for him?

SIDWELL VS. CULLUM

The two finally put aside their differences as they have to complete Faison’s final project for it will be highly lucrative for them, useful for their mutual gains, and groundbreaking. In order to do that they need a great mind with a scientific background to finish it up and get them to the finish line since Britt as disappeared.

Later, outside of “General Hospital,” Obrecht is headed back to her car after searching Britt’s office for any clues as to the whereabouts of her daughter. But when she got in the car to drive away, that’s when the aforementioned Cullum strikes!

BROOK LYNN GETS ADVICE FROM A FORMER ADULTERESS

In other key developments, after Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) keeps inserting herself into Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) life, all with the seeming pretense to pay back Chase for helping her clear her name at the trial, and standing by her, she brings good news in person about baby Phoebe’s adoption to Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) law office to Chase. Once Brook Lynn heard Chase was on her away over with paperwork, she decided to hightail it out of there for an “emergency” appointment for Deception.

As we come to find out, Brook Lynn meets up with Lucy (Lynn Herring) at the Metro Court pool, She then proceeds to inform Lucy about Willow sniffing around he husband. Lucy says she knows a thing or two about being an adulteress. Brook Lynn wants Lucy to help her send a clear message to Willow to stay away from her husband, or else!

Now below, check out the scenes before Obrecht was kidnapped where she visited Willow, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) and suspects Willow is up to no good.

Then let us know, with Lucy taking Brook Lynn under her wing, what plot do you think the two will come up with against Willow? What do you think will happen to Obrecht? Marc Forget Exits ‘General Hospital’

Published

on

By

The Thursday June 4 episode of General Hospital paved way for the end of the line for Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) butler/fixer, Pascal (Marc Forget).

In the pick of the June 3 cliffhanger, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was the hero and stopped the evil-doer from fleeing Port Charles for his part in aiding and abetting his boss with the cover-up of the murder of Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) among other crimes.

Today’s episode did indeed mark the final appearance of Marc Forget who joined the ABC soap opera when he debuted back in July of 2025. Viewers met met Pascal when Kelly Thiebaud returned to the soap opera as Britt Westbourne and she was being blackmailed to work on Faison’s final project while at the Five Poppies in Dalmatia.

A General Hospital rep confirmed to Soap Opera Digest, that the June 4 episode, “Will be the last viewers will see of Pascal for now, but notes that in the world of Port Charles, comebacks are always possible.” So, how did Pascal get written-off the canvas? Here’s what went down:

PASCAL GIVES LUCAS KEY INFORMATION BEFORE BEING DRAGGED AWAY

After Sonny intercepted Pascal on his desperate attempt to get out of town, Sonny informed him hat Sidwell would stop at nothing from trying to get retribution for whoever killed his son, Marco, and promptly turned around and said that he would help Pascal flee the country, only if he turned on Sidwell.

An absolutely terrified Pascal had evidence for Sonny that he could use against Sidwell. However, he feared he would get killed on sight if he tried to retrieve the incriminating photos of Sonny and Laura from the safe at Wyndemere. So instead, Pascal gave the combination to the safe to Lucas (Van Hansis), so he could get the blackmail photos himself. But, did Pascal just set up Lucas to be killed since he loathes him for being the man to win the heart of the late Marco?

In the end, Sonny had one of his henchmen drag Pascal away and whisked off to an airfield to fly away to parts unknown, and hopefully never to be heard from again. But what now? Is Lucas going to end up being pegged as Marco’s killer and taken down by Sidwell if he gets his hands on the incriminating photos for Sonny and Laura? Stay tuned.

So, what did you think of Marc Forget’s run as Pascal? Sad or happy to see the character go? Do you think he will be back down the line? Share your thoughts via the comment section.
