GENERAL HOSPITAL: The Connection Between Sidwell and Natalia Revealed; Alexis Wants Jason to Kill Cyrus But Warns Him Not To
The mysterious life of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) deepened on the Friday, February 14th episode of General Hospital. As has been rumored, and as it turns out, Sidwell is the ex-husband of Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue).
The confirmation of their connection unraveled after Jenz was seen by Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) at GH for a tick bite he acquired on the grounds of Wyndemere. Lucas is stunned to learn that the man is living at the home he once grew up in. Later, Lucas learns from Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) just how bad a man Sidwell truly is.
When visiting Deception, all hell breaks loose when Jenz enters the room with Lucy (Lynn Herring), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Lulu (Alexa Havins), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Natalia. An outraged Lulu informs Sidwell that he knows how he held her brother, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) hostage in Africa. In the background of the action, we see Natalia slink out of the meeting.

In the parking lot, Natalia asks a stranger for a cigarette. Sidwell comes upon her and says he thought she kicked that nasty habit years ago, She claps back she did when she got rid of him. Jenz guesses that Natalia never told her friends and co-workers that she was once upon a time married to him, and that is why she walked out during the meeting. Are we about to see Sidwell blackmail Natalia, or get him to do his dirty work in regards to bringing down Sonny (Maurice Benard)?
Meanwhile, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) comes to the aid of Jason (Steve Burton); instead of normal legal counsel, Diane Miller, after he is put under arrest by Anna after his public threat to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). In the interrogation room at the PCPD, Alexis asks Jason if he truly believes Cyrus killed Sam. Jason says he does, and that he has never bought Cyrus’ redemption act. Alexis asks why Cyrus would murder Sam. Jason doesn’t know why. Alexis assumes he wants Cyrus dead, and admits she does too, and that she has had so many sleepless nights and wants revenge for her daughter.

Alexis continues on that he knows she could never kill someone like that in cold blood. She says she wants vengeance so badly that she can taste it. If she didn’t have to think of the consequences, she’d even hand Jason the gun to do it. However, she says what matters is what Sam would want and she would want Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) to heal.
As Jason, with tears in his eyes listens intently to what Alexis has to say, she says his son will never be able to properly heal if he kills Cyrus. Alexis feels Danny will feel responsible for Cyrus’ death the rest of his life if his own father killed the guy. She ends her thoughts imploring Jason to please let the police handle this.

I called their connection the moment it was shown that Sidwell was having Natalia followed.
They are trying so hard to make Natalia interesting and it still isn’t working for me. “Hey. let’s connect a character no one cares about to another character no one cares about.” Just not my jam.
Precisely- at this point they could make Natalia the long lost child of Lila Quartermaine and Casey the Alien and a huge chunk of the audience wouldn’t care. There’s no saving/redeeming her.
Yes, yes and yes to Scott, Sonni and Steve. Yes, you called it, yes, they are trying to make Natalia interesting and yes, there’s no saving or redeeming her. I have an instant, almost reflexive reaction to Natalia that I did not expect. I instantly fast forward through her scenes.
God, I didn’t like her before and I like her less now, with Sidwell in her background and her future I’m sure, once he finds out or already has, her association with Sonny. Old Lucy doesn’t care what hes done, still crawls all over him.
I think Eva LaRue is a great actress, I just feel Natalia isn’t written well.
Eva La Rue is a decent actress but in my opinion, not great and certainly not good enough to rise above the writing afforded to her. She seems incapable of emoting and comes off as being stiff.
Jenz he must leave port charles ny leave my piers of 55 and 56 and Me and drew will be protected should not move. Please remove jenz away from port Charles ny don’t come back.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80
Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.
PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
