THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Carter Realizes the Depth of His Betrayal of Ridge and the Forresters
In a very Shakespearean moment (think Julius Caesar or Henry IV Part 2 here) on the Friday, February 14th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is consumed with guilt on how he stole Forrester Creations right from under his longtime best friend, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), the creator of the fashion dynasty, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and his granddaughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
The change of heart and conflict comes on the day of the launch of the jewelry line, and when Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) tries to appeal to Carter after seeing how his decision to takeover Forrester Creations is weighing on him. The episode featured an excellent performance by Lawrence Saint-Victor.
In story, Electra (Laneya Grace) stops by Carter’s office to give him the custom piece he requested for Valentine’s Day. Carter tells her it’s exquisite and that Hope (Annika Noelle) will love it. Next, he hides it in his office drawer. At that moment, Carter comes upon Eric’s stapler and stops dead in his tracks. Meanwhile, Hope makes a speech welcoming everyone to the Carter Walton era of Forrester Creations.

As everyone gathers to watch the sales of the debut of the jewelry line, Hope sings Carter’s praises for his leadership at the company. She says, “This is what the future of Forrester Creations looks like.” Brooke is giving side-eye to her daughter! After the launch is a success, Hope calls for a celebration. She kisses Carter in front of everyone as Brooke stares down at Carter.
Later, alone with Hope, Carter says this doesn’t feel right. He understands the Forresters built the company. Hope urges him not to let that overshadow his accomplishments. She says that he dared to dream big, and it succeeded. “Allow yourself to celebrate that.” Carter agrees that they righted the ship and proved that they can lead. Then, in an emotional moment, Carter tells Hope, “Maybe this is our chance to go out on top.”

Hope is confused and angered. She was put down over and over by Steffy and the Forresters. Carter says what he did was not right. We tricked them and it was underhanded. Carter wants to apologize to Ridge and Hope gets infuriated at the notion, stating, “You want me to apologize to Ridge and Steffy after everything they’ve done to humiliate me, to insult me?”
After saying she will not apologize to anyone, Hope will not comfort Carter. He says he is a traitor, adding, “I don’t think I can live with myself.” Carter tells Hope they’ve proven themselves, it’s time to make this right. Hope cries out, “You said you had my back! You said you would stand by me!” He pulls out the necklace from the desk, but Hope won’t accept it. She says it’s not the time for that and exits in tears.

Alone, Carter is at a loss with his betrayal and the woman he loves walking out on him, and is left in tears. Carter takes the necklace out of the box and pounds on the desk and shatters all the the gemstones in it within the palm of his hand. Suddenly, Ridge appears at the door and belays. “Heavy is the head that wears the crown, huh Carter?” We fade to black.

Will Carter ultimately make up with Ridge and give back the company to the Forresters … or will Ridge’s words stings Carter so badly, that he will have an about face? What did you think of the performance of Lawrence Saint-Victor within the episode? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
Ridge was wrong to say the.things he said about Hope, in front of her mother, Brooke. Steffy is just a total bitch, whose time is coming once it is revealed that Luna is Finn’s daughter – HA!!
Agree 110%. Can’t stand Steffy. I feel for Hope and agree with everything she says.
And how many times do we need to hear that Carter and Ridge are best friends and brothers and they love each other (on Valentine’s Day!)? Almost as nonstop as the praise for Paris and then Luna. And “I wish I knew what made me drink”. I’ve watched since 1996 and the writing has been painful the past two years. Even the charactera now say “I know we’ve talked about this before but …”
Lawrence S.V.’s acting was good but it was Annika Noelle who really moved me with the scene with Carter. Just give her the Emmy. No one deserves it more.
I can’t stand steffy she got it coming when her husband tells her who his daughter is I hope that bitch shit on her self
… I too have misgivings about Steffy.
Wow why so stupid in behind these SOAP OPERAS, IT IS A SOAP OPERA
Because.it is a soap opera and you become invested.
Then all the females are bitches and all the males are bastards because they literally like a thief in the night, stole something that someone else created because stupid little Hope got her feelings hurt. It’s time for all of the Hogans to step away from the Foresters and create something of Their Own.
Yay! Steffy is bossy, but not what you say. Hope wouldn’t tell her that she was waiting in lingerie for Carter, so Steffy thought Hope was making another play for Finn, Steffy’s husband.
Surely you saw Hope get at least 2 chances to tell the truth. But, Hope didn’t tell the truth about waiting for Carter, and got fired. Any boss would have fired her, not just Steffy. Sex in the workplace is not good. Hope should have been fired before it even got to that.
Steffy is my favorite actress on the show. They just don’t know how to write lines for a strong woman without making her sound bossy.
Exactly!!!
Lew…when Finn does come clean and tells Steffy about Luna being his daughter, I hope that it hurts that INSUFFERABLE WITCH Steffy’s feelings…A LOT!!!!! Tick Tock Tick Tock…
She’ll sure be keeping her guard up, that’s for sure, lest she land up in another cage or whatever. And she thought Sheila was bad, ha,ha. God, I can’t wait until Li finds out, she’ll kill Poppy for messing with her son, all those years ago and hope she wants nothing to do with Luna, as well.
Oh yeah!! This is one thing she can’t control! The only bad thing about this is she will probably run to Liam and who wants to see that again!
Looks like it’s unanimous! Does anyone like and admire Steffy? She plays her part well, her Grandmother, Stephanie would be proud.Love how daddy just eats up her crap and feeds into her s…, along with her mommy. Those two, deserve each other, why in God’s name does Brooke want him back, she’s well rid of him!
I personally would not want a company to grow knowing I stole a company to me I have not accomplished nothing everything I do its not my work its the Forrester work now I would have when a built a company from the ground up and put in the work to make Forrester creations look like nothing and put them out of business
If I were brooke I wouldn’t take ridge ass back l would tell he can have Taylor’s ass
I think Carter Brooke and hope should start their own business and give the foresters back the company that belongs to them
I agree
The entire story line sucks. Steffy is a bitch. Hope is hopeless and the Ridge triangle is gross. Taylor is a pathetic character. And WTH with Bill and crazy Luna?
I agree and Steffy still hasn’t learned her lesson the way she treats people especially the Logan’s.
To still from someone else hard work that was build from the ground up is a horrible dishonest act I don’t approve of there actions .
If they wanted a company so bad go and make your own dreams by going out a purchase space and make it happen instead of stealing from someone else .
What a horrible storyline .
They need to do the right thing and fix this mess it isn’t good I am starting to not like the show anymore.
Everybody wants Hope and Carter but they have no fashion design talent. Hope’s line was designed by Forresters. She only had a dream. Ridge designed for Brooke’s line. They might start a business but they do not have a reputation to build on but it is a Soap.
As far as Steffy goes, did I see a baby bump last week? Has she got a fith one in the incubator?
Wow that’s talking out of your ass. It’s a show. Omg . It’s getting freaking good the show.
I don’t know who the hell you are talking to, but I ‘d tone it down a little, you must be such a nice person!
I love steffy! Hope is a whiny, unappreciative brat. But for the first time, I’m cheering on Brooke over Taylor. This was a poorly cast replacement. Luna story line is ridiculous.
I think you got it wrong. the Foresters did they betraying , my treating people without their last name, in an inhumane manner. there is no wrong way to start a revolution against that. the real way to State what you said, is the Foresters gaslit a man with a heart, and continue to be misogynist against Hope. so Carter is not betraying anyone. he’s doing the right thing by Hope. and he will see that when a self-absorbed Ridge opens his mouth.
I’m seeing all your “pro-Car” post.
I am also disagreeing. (one part that is)and it is that:imo jmo lol
1.)Carter I love for a long long time in multi-soaps, but not now. What a loser he is.
2.)became a big ole’ dope when he elect to steal like a thief in the night, a company built not by him or his biological family kin. by Eric and it’s wrong. Full stop. Period.”
You want a company so bad Carter? Build it. all begins in life with an idea. Do it.Don’t steal.
I am praying he is written to finally give it back, crying teary-eyed 2 days ago. He is clearly guilt ridden. Hope need a life. Without her, he would not be doing this at all. Carter also is being used. Hope didn’t love or fall in love with her. It was what he can get her/do for her.Sadly he is going to learn the hard way since RIDGE always shall win in the end,and this time, I am routing for his bro, his bestie or former “bruh” and former bestie to win. I have zero doubt, BELL will allow it to occur.
I am just hoping soon.”
your post is definitely YOUR opinion .
Carter did not betray anyone. Ridge and Company committed misogyny and oppression against anyone who doesn’t have the Forester last name . Carter is doing the right thing by taking over the company. and he will see that when Ridge opens his self-absorbed mouth .
Carter did not betray anyone. he’s rightfully starting a revolution against misogyny and oppression . and hope reminded him of that, before she stormed out. he knows that she’s right and he’ll come around back to her side , especially after Ridge opens his self-absorbed mouth
someone racist keeps taking my Pro Carter comments off the board. your article is definitely in line with that. so I don’t care anymore since you act like this even though this is just a soap opera
Don’t forget about how nice Hope has been in the past …….anyone the
After Thomas feel onto the vat at Forrester and she thought he was drowning, she walked out and supposedly let him drown aand didn’t tell anyone. When she got pregnant with Beth, Liam was still married to Steffy. When she and Thomas got together, how many times did she lead him on. Hope seems to forget the reason they were canceling her line was because people were not buying it.
I am glad they are not dressing Hope like she is 12 years old now as the did for years. If Hope had a job in the real world and not a soap, she would learn much quicker about her line being canceled if not making $$$. Steffy is a business woman.
Bill & Luna plot is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen — even if on a soap.
Agree 100% Steffy is a very strong woman and that is why so many people try to make her into the bad guy. Being bold and outspoken doesn’t make someone a bitch. Did nobody see how Hope reacted to Carter Friday? I mean she sounded like my four year old when she doesn’t get her way. It was pretty pathetic. If that didn’t open Carter’s eyes to the fact she is using him then he deserves every ounce of heartbreak that is coming to him. And to top everything off Carter and hope are thieves!!! That would be the same as someone being rude to me or not agreeing to everything I say so I go and take something that is sacred to them and their family. Nothing about that would be ok!
you think a woman has to be a bully to be strong? Carter and Hope are revolutionists they are not thieves. in this gray area world, nobody can suddenly get on their moral high horse it would be hypocritical and phony .
as far as what Hope did after Thomas fell into the vat, any woman would do the same thing , because Thomas was and is a monster . in fact, most of those women would have been killed . people are bashing a scared woman, the rightfully defended herself, and who escaped to death from a monster such as thomas?
Lawrence Saint – Victor finally playing a leading man as encouraged by his former costar Rena Sofer. Happy someone listened. He’s doing a swell job. He’s the Mandingo of daytime. I secretly hope he surrenders the business back to the Forresters . And then take off your shirt and ponder your thoughts.
The writers are making Carter out to be a punk and blaming Hope for everything Carter did to take the company. Carter needs to stand his ground and move forward with all the plans he has for the company. It’s a pleasure to finally see the Forresters put in their place for a change. Let this play out and don’t give the company back too soon.
I agree with everything you said, except giving the company back . they should never give the company back.
I used to like/love hope since the Very beautiful natural talent, actress Kimberly Matula. Fifteen yrs.
I loved her even more at times when the good actress and the lovely Annika Noelle took over the role as Hope Spencer, now again Hope Logan.” I am not liking her as much anymore since she was the one who stole, like a thief in the night Forrester Creations.(Carter and with Hope’s support) and from last year when she did that to poor Thomas.Thomas changed/new/reformed/mature man. Growth was clear when it came to the formerly crazy actin/bad boy/dysfunctional Thomas.”I will 1 day like or love hope again, (not if)but when she and her tv soulmate liam, reunite again.
I have no doubt liam and hope will. BELL love those two just like he love Finn and Steffy and he love Ridge and Brooke.” I have zero doubt #LOPE will reunite. They are bold’s endgame,
then, Ican like her again.I hope that Carter who used to be a great guy, handsome, fit, funny, incredible guy on the show, and a lawyer to boot, i hope he does the right thing,so I can like him again. Right now, i do not, but loved episode February 02/17. I liked how he began to cry, teary-eyed, while Ridge did hug him after “at first hesitating to”. GREAT epie 1 day ago.” Deep down, when you’re feeling like you are wrong, own up to it. Make it right, BEFORE it is too late.”(even in a soap)on tv…’
Sick of all of it! Carter is weak for love! He needs to do the right thing and give the company back to its owners. HOOE IS POWER HUNGRY! SICKENING!!!
Does anyone realize that ,yes, they has big dreams for the company..BUT ITS NOT THEIR COMPANY,Hope is a whiny spoiled brat.shes gonna lose everyone because of greed!! LOVE IT
Bring back Thomas! This stuff is so cringe to watch.
I cannot abide this wishy washy Carter character. He took over Forrester and now wants to apologize. He thinks he did something wrong to the Forrester clan by stealing their company. Ya think. He crying and upset and ashamed. Where was this shame when he was sleeping with Eric Forrester’s wife Quinn? When he was betraying Eric every day while working with him. When the Forresters inevitably get their company back please give Carter some backbone and let him leave the company and become DA or a corporate fixer outside of Forrester. Give the man some dignity and pride at least.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ric’s History of Jealousy Where Elizabeth is Concerned Has Come Back Around

On General Hospital, Ric Lansing (Rick Heart) is about to fall back into dangerous old patterns by the foreshadowing during the Wednesday, August 19 episode. After first coming to see his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and telling him of his plan to propose to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) his longtime love tonight, Sonny has concerned.
Next, Sonny reminds his brother of what has happened in the past, when things have gone south with Elizabeth and wonders if it’s too soon for him to propose to her. What Ric did not tell Sonny is that he has seen the developing closeness between Sonny’s son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth, which is propelling his urgent need to propose.
Meanwhile, Dante ran into Elizabeth at the park during a break from their mutual team softball games. She needs help with a bookcase after the game at her house. Dante wants to put it together for her. Later, Dante arrived at Elizabeth’s house, limping after injuring his knee during the game. Head nurse Liz wanted to check out the injury as much as Dante protested, which required him to take off his pants.

RIC BEGINS TO UNRAVEL
Outside Elizabeth’s widow, Ric arrives with a bouquet of roses and the engagement ring. When he leers through the widow he is shocked to see Elizabeth rubbing Dante’s leg while Dante is in his boxer/shorts. He storm troops into the house, demanding to know what is going on here? Both Elizabeth and Dante look surprised by his reaction. In the pick-up of today’s Thursday, August 20 episode (see GH video teaser below), viewers will learn the upshot for all three characters.
A VENGEFUL PAST
As longtime GH fans know, Ric has done some horrible, vengeful things in regards to Elizabeth starting back in 2003 after she lost her baby after Ric’s ex, Faith Rosco pushed her down a flight of stairs. Ric accused Sonny for the accident and to get revenge, Ric kidnapped Carly (who was married to Sonny at the time), and stashed her in a panic room below the house where he was living with Liz.
On top of that, Ric fed his wife Elizabeth birth control pills to keep her from getting pregnant so that they could raise Carly’s baby together after it was born. Eventually, Elizabeth found Carly in the panic room but ended up having a pulmonary embolism. When she woke up in the hospital, Elizabeth was all confused by what happened, and Ric convinced her that her vision of Carly was just a bad dream. Eventually, Elizabeth learned the horrifying truth and divorced Ric.
Years later, Ric noticed the connection between Elizabeth and “Jake Doe” who eventually turned out to be Drew (Billy Miller) A jealous Ric hired Hayden Barnes to show up and claim to be “Jake’s” wife. Elizabeth stepped aside, and when Ric planned to propose to Elizabeth at the 2015 Nurses Ball, Carly exposed his manipulations, and Elizabeth dumped him yet again. And those are just two examples of the lengths Ric will go to for Elizabeth!
So, we ask you, given the history of Elizabeth and Ric, how do you see this playing out with Dante in the picture? How will Ric derail their growing bond? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Steffy and Carter Get Lame Excuses From Their Spouses, and Try to Shake Off Their Night Together

If you caught the Wednesday, August 19 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, and if you were Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and your wife, who literally took off, threw of her wedding ring and abandoned their marriage to head to Paris, shows back up saying she overreacted and wants to be with him, would you bother to even take her back?
As for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), now that Finn (Tanner Novlan) is giving her the spiel about how he took her for granted, how he is so sorry for not listening to her, and that Sheila will never be in their lives again, would you want to listen to that, either, after so many broken promises?
That’s the situation hungover Steffy and Carter found themselves, while still reeling from the seeming fact that they had sex the night before while drunk in the Forrester Creations CEO office.

Courtesy/CBS
STEFFY AND CARTER GETS EARFULS
Daphne (Murielle Hilare) doesn’t understand why Carter is being so distant, and he says, “You said I wasn’t family.” She wants to put all of what she said and did behind them and now explore other ways to have a child. Carter seems hurt and annoyed.
Back at the cliff house, Steffy is so upset between sleeping with Carter and getting drunk, and Finn and his mother, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) in Monaco. She tells Finn, “I need you to stand up for me. I can’t live like this. I won’t.” Finn begs her not to let “one terrible mistake” (get it!?) tear us apart.
Finn promised Steffy he will get a restraining order on Sheila if it calls for it. He understands why Steffy is so scared of Sheila after she shot her … and him. In the closing moments of the episode, Finn pronounces how lucky he is to have the “perfect wife.” To which a rattled Steffy in tears goes, “Oh, I’m not perfect.”

Photo: JPI
STEFFY’S GUILT
Steffy is losing her grip at this moment as Finn says he wants to step up and be the husband he deserves. Along with Daphne, I kind of want to kick Finn to the curb, too. Then Finn lays it on real thick and adds, “You’re pure, you’re honest, you’re loyal.” Steffy interrupts, “Not quite.”
Suddenly a guilt-ridden Steffy says to Finn, “There’s something I need to tell you.” Can she actually get the words out about getting drunk and having sex with Carter …or, will she keep it under wraps so we can have months of the line “one terrible mistake?”
Take a look at some of the scenes between Steffy and Finn from today’s episode below.
Now let us know: would you bother to take back Daphne or Finn, if you were Carter and Steffy? Would you like to see Steffy just blurt out she had sex with Carter to her husband? Weigh-in via the comment section.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Carter and Steffy Have Drunken Sex … Or Did They?

On the Tuesday, August 18 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, viewers were tuned-in to see if Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who were were both on benders, wound up having sex in the Forrester Creations CEO office.
As the Monday, August 17 episode concluded, Carter and Steffy shared a close moment where it looked like they would kiss. Now in the pick up which starts the morning after, Steffy awakens from the couch in the office, and realizes she has no clothes on and is mortified to see Carter on the end of the couch also naked and under blankets.
In that moment, Steffy realizes they had sex, and begins to unravel to Carter as she scrambles to get dressed: “We shouldn’t have done this. Oh my God, I shouldn’t have done this!”

Photo: JPI
STEFFY RACES TO GET HOME
Steffy’s panic of the situation escalates when she finds her phone, and sees multiple text messages from her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan), desperately trying to reach her. He told Steffy he was on his way home from Monaco.
Suddenly, a hungover Carter speaks up and agrees. He says to Steffy they made a terrible mistake and wanted to talk about it, but Steffy kiboshed any discussion, not dealing with Carter, and racing home to be with her kids and Finn. As a disheveled Steffy ran out of Forrester, Carter stayed behind to straighten up the office and get rid of any remnants of their drunken binge.
Just then, Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) showed up as Carter is shocked. She apologized for running out on him, and details how when she got to the airport to board the plane to Paris, she realized she couldn’t leave him. She loved him too much, and asks him to please forgive her and her, “terrible mistake.” Daphne hugs Carter and he looks like a man who has no idea what to do or make of this entire situation in the moment.

Photo: JPI
WHAT WILL BE THE REPERCUSSIONS OF CARTER AND STEFFY’S DRUNKEN NIGHT TOGETHER?
Cut to: Steffy comes home and runs into her mother, Taylor (Rebecca Budig). She explains what happened with Finn and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) in Monaco. Next, Steffy details how she took off her wedding ring after Taylor noticed it was no longer on her finger. Just then, Finn arrives. Taylor leaves the two to talk. Finn begs for Steffy’s forgiveness and the episode comes to an end with Steffy facing away from Finn and towards the camera, trying to figure out what to do next. Take him back?
Now the real story begins: it would appear that the intent was to have Carter and Steffy face long-lasting consequences of their drunken night together. So that, Steffy would become pregnant with Carter’s child, which would cause the ripple effect in Carter’s marriage to Daphne, who is unable to carry a child.
One other theory, unless, Carter and Steffy believe they had sex, but they passed out in compromising positions but nothing ever happened? Perhaps one of them, or both will have flashbacks of them carrying on together on the couch? Were they set up? Stay tuned.
So, we ask you. What happens from here? Steffy gets pregnant with Carter’s child? Does Steffy goes back to Finn? Carter goes back with Daphne? They really never had drunken sex? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, take a look below, and a bit of what went down when Steffy and Carter realize what happened between them.
