GENERAL HOSPITAL: Drew Coerces Willow to Sign Legal Guardianship of Wiley and Amelia Over to Him if Something Should Happen to Her; Casting More Doubt if This is the Real Drew?
On General Hospital, Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) latest move, while some can see it as the countermove to Carly’s (Laura Wright) threats to take Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Amelia away from Willow, could actually be a sign of something bigger, but is it?
At the conclusion of the Monday, April 14th episode of the ABC daytime drama series; Willow is concerned that Carly will push Michael to be very aggressive to get sole custody of Amelia and Wiley, when he returns from Germany. She expresses her concerns to Drew, that Michael could come back and go at her for the kids, or even worse, Carly could try to take the kids from her. Willow suggests to Drew, they make a compromise with Carly.
A reassuring Drew promises Willow that nobody will take her children, and even if something happens to her, he’ll stop Carly and Tracy (Jane Elliot) or anyone from taking the children. Willow says he can’t promise that, but Drew says, “yes, he can.” Next, he holds up a document. When she asks what it is, Drew explains these papers would make him the legal guardian of Wiley and Amelia should something happen to her.

Drew throws in there that if something should happen to him, it makes Willow, the legal guardian of his daughter, Scout. She says this is a huge step, but says she, “trusts him more than anyone in the world to look after her kids.” Drew has a pen ready and Willow signs the documents.
For months, GH fans have been wondering if the Drew that came back from prison is the real Drew Cain. In the story, Drew went to the slammer to protect Carly whom he was romantically involved with at the time for SEC insider trading; allin an effort to not separate her from her kids. When he came out of prison, slowly but surely, the character had turned into one smarmy politician, who is manipulative and egotistical.

Fans have predicted that perhaps, the one person who had a deep connection and was formerly obsessed with Willow was the cult leader Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Back in 2019, Sam (Kelly Monaco) shot Shiloh (aka Hank Archer) in the back, and he went overboard of the Haunted Star to death. However, his body was recovered and appeared very much dead. But on soaps, as have seen this before, bodies have been switched, etc.
In addition, with the rumors persisting that GH has recast the role of Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell); could it be that Michael will return and save Willow from the clutches of this mad man, who had plastic surgery to look like Drew, and take over his life? If that is not the story, and Drew just continues in his hateful, spiteful-mode, and the character turn as played by Cameron Mathison, will just be explained as the evolution of the guy based on circumstances that changed him into the ma everybody loves to hate?

Meanwhile, and also on Monday, Cameron Mathison visited his old All My Children castmates, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on the syndicated morning talk show Live with Kelly and Mark from their new studio digs in New York City. During his segment, Mathison discussed how hated he is by the fans as Drew, and that the only other time he felt this disdain from the audience is when Ryan Lavery tried to come between Hayley and Mateo on their former ABC soap opera. Ripa says that on GH, Drew had turned like, “Spoiled milk!” You can check out that clip below.
So, what do you think is going on here? Is this the real Drew Cain in action? Could Drew actually be Shiloh or someone else? Share your hopes for the story via the comment section below.
Look, if you remember back when Franco was given Drew’s memories, he was a different Drew versus Billy Miller’s Drew. This, to me, is Drew ultimately. This is Drew pre-memory mapping, which makes the role an easier one to let go of.
Yes, I agree. We got a glimpse of the real Drew when Franco had Drew’s memories. He revealed to Jason that he knew he was his twin brother since they were teens and hated him and the Quartermaines for abandoning him. A few months ago, after Jason beat Drew’s butt, Drew whined about how the family forgives Jason for everything but couldn’t forgive him. He is so jealous that they love Jason and Michael more than him.
It would make more sense if the beating in prison brought back Drew’s original memories and personality. The kind, good, honest man we all knew as Drew, was a version of Jason Quartermaine. He had Jason Quartermaine’s personality. When he was beaten up, Drew’s real personality emerged little by little once he felt betrayed first by Michael, for keeping Nina’ssecret. When Jason returned, his jealously emerged. That’s why he dumped Carly when he guessed she helped Jason.
This is just the real Andrew Cain.
Drew is definitely not Shiloh. Shiloh is still here in Hell, cleaning out my dragon stables at this very moment. Also, you might remember that Shiloh was significantly shorter than Hallmark Drew. Not even the most gifted plastic surgeons can make a mortal taller!
Apparently height doesn’t matter as the latest incarnation of Drew is a few inches taller than his one time identical brother.
Now, if they somehow retcon Cyrus into being a follower of Shiloh, that would explain the Sam murder better than what’s been presented so far.
Far fetched, but in soap land plausible… In researching Drew’s files, Brad could discover Drew’s blood type miraculously changed after he was assaulted in Pentonville.
Willow is the stupidest person on the planet. Moving in with her boyfriend when she can risk losing the kids? Moronic
good points!
Billy Miller was shorter than Cameron Mathison so physical similarity is very often ignored when a new actor takes over a role. Look at Sean Kanan to Billy Warlock’s AJ, or Tabyana Ali to Sydney Mikayla’s Trina. They are nothing alike from skin tone to height. So if “Drew” is really “Shiloh” we’ll just have another with our ability to suspend disbelief on all things soap…
Drew as Shiloh could be a red herring as it seems too obvious. Drew wanting custody of Willow’s kids is totally a Shiloh move. Still, if it turns out not be Shiloh, I would hope they’d still exam the psychological makeup that allowed Willow to be so vulnerable to Drew’s brainwashing. Paging Dr Kevin Collins!
Yeah, Kevin sure picked the wrong time to take a “vacation” somewhere in the suburbs of Washington DC, didn’t he? Willow’s lost her mind, Kristina is about to be sent to the looney bin, probably a whole lot of people are going to need a shrink by the time the fiddling pool boy’s parentage thing becomes public knowledge… and the only psychiatrist in Port Charles is AWOL??
Though I have a feeling his role on that show won’t be long term, since it was revealed he’s not really a bad guy, but a police informant pretending to be the bad guy. Which means he’s almost guaranteed to be killed off soon.
Boy, I hope you are right about Kevin. I hate his part on BTG as a Casino owner, trying to get this Surgeon to gamble away all his money to make him beholden to him, while trying to romance his wife in the meanwhile. I miss Kevin more, every time I see him as this Slimeball!
I don’t think it matters whether Jon Lindstrom is on BTG or not; “Kevin” hasn’t been on the show in years. Lindstrom has a good run when they brought Ryan back, but then Lindstrom was basically gone from the show. I don’t know if it’s a behind-the-scenes issue, if it was their decision of Lindstrom’s but Kevin exists in name-only on GH at this point. They should either recast (which I surprise even myself for saying because “Kevin” has always been one of my favorite characters and I’ve loved Jon in the role. But if it’s his decision to part ways, I think they should recast. If not? They should should either bring him back on or write the character off and give Laura a chance to have an actual relationship. The woman is constantly without her husband; even when she sat in the hospital waiting to see if Lulu survives; then if Lucky would survive. He’s not at any of her public political speeches; he said welcome back to Lulu upon her return as if she’d just been on vacation, and then he exited. The character’s absence is glaring…
I’ve been telling my GH group that I believe this is Shiloh reincarnated because He was infatuated with Willow and whats better than to seduce her, get her to move in, do mind over matter things with her and now have her sign over her kids to him. It’s was always a control thing with Shiloh.
And if that’s not the storyline, then I believe that Elizabeth found out something in her report about Drew that Ava currently has. Portia and Brad are going to find it out and then it will be revealed that Drew is either, Shiloh or Franco (both reincarnated). Either way, that’s not good for the people of Port Charles. That’s my theory. What do you think?
It sounds like something Ron Carlivati would come up with.
I think the Shiloh rumors are way off. How long was Shiloh on the show? Why bring him back in a ridiculous way. GH needs a villain who is not irredeemable (i.e. a murderer, kidnapper, etc.). Every villain they bring on goes too far whether it’s Alcazar, Victor, Cyrus and currently Sidwell. Murderous types vs just a-holes. Drew is an a-hole. And I know people complain about it, but it’s good to have someone like that on canvas. In story with Willow, it does show similarities with how Willow is with men – easily controlled. I do hope Nina blurts out “I SLEPT WITH DREW” soon.
I do too. Nina, despite being backburned in a story where she should be on the front burner, is a very sympathetic character right now. She’s all alone, and now Drew appears to be taking her grandchildren away while dismissing her as if she were a nuisance after he had intimate relations with her. The brilliant Cynthia Watros really proved the drama teacher’s mantra that there are no small parts, only small actors as seen with her intensely sad looking face after Drew kicked her out and after hearing Carly and Willow speak so callously about Nelle. Nina reassured Willow that she’s nothing like her sister while trying to keep her intensely sad emotions in check. She’s repressing way too many emotions which in reality would eventually blow like a boiling tea kettle. I hope the writers involve Nina in the climatic action involving the Drew and Willow story, and she doesn’t just serve as background like some forgotten potted plant.
How about GH stop reinventing the character of Drew ( pick a last name ) and be done with him once and for all? He has become as boring and repetitive in his actions as Cyrus was.
And don’t even get me start on Willow signing custody of the kids to him… can’t wait til she finds out how he betrayed her with her own mother… but I don’t look forward to Nina’s whining to justify why she didn’t tell Willow in the first place.
Ah, I love Nina. I realize I’m in the minority but I don’t see her as a whiner at all. She just wants familial contact with her surviving daughter after being denied contact with her since birth.
I love nina too and hopes she gets through to her daughter soon. She is holding it all in.
Thank you, Sheila. Good to know I’m not the only one sitting out here on this limb.
There was no coercion. Willow is tofu. She takes on the characteristics of anyone she is with until the next character comes along. Dastardly Drew didn’t have to coerce her – he put the idea out there and she ran to it/with it. I used to love her character. She has become ridiculously ridiculous in her ridiculousness.
Love your comment, Linda, although I didn’t understand the tofu simile. Possibly because I haven’t cooked with tofu enough to catch the analogy.
To me it resembles rubber or Play Dough. Can’t understand anyone eating it willingly.
Tofu aborbs the flavour of what it is being cooked with.
Thank you, GH Fan! I did not know that. Now that simile makes perfect sense. And hah! Viola! With a little cilantro, fresh ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar and lime juice, tofu is tolerable…but just barely.
Also.. I don’t dislike Nina at all… just when she speaks by dragging out a word… I know that up coming scene will be like “willlllow plllleasssse forgivvvvve meeeeee” when it finally comes out that she was also sleeping with Drew.
This is the real Drew, just like this is the real Willow. They deserve each other at this point. Those poor kids don’t deserve either of them. She’s such an idiot for signing over Michael’s kids to his sleazy uncle. While Drew did pay off the receptionist at Michael’s clinic, I can’t believe Willow’s surprised that Michael wouldn’t want to see her or have anything to do with her again. lol She’s STILL acting like the victim with her, “Drew would never treat me this way!” LOL As long as you stay with him, he won’t. You cheated on Michael with him, threw away your marriage for this and are now giving him Michael’s kids. The minute you leave sleazy Drew, he will absolutely treat you that way – probably even worse.
They can’t recast Michael fast enough (or however they intend to bring Michael back) for me, because I’m so sick of this disgusting storyline. I really need to see Michael bury Willow and Drew. Cameron Mathison is doing an excellent job, though. Drew is loathsome.
Drew should ack willow to married her and willow should say yes she married to drew they will be have my protection from me to make that decision
General Hospital
GENERAL HOSPITAL: Emma Wants to Save Anna, Isaiah’s Career is All But Destroyed, Joe Makes an Arrest
The Monday, May 18 episode of General Hospital brought with it a startling discovery, a new reality for one surgeon, a new cop on the scene, and a granddaughter determined to protect her grandmother.
First, Laura (Genie Francis) tells Mac (John J. York) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Anna (Finola Hughes) is in worse trouble than she was previously after she had Kevin to check on her while he was in Europe. They head out to update Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner).
Meanwhile, Emma gets upset over Anna during a discussion with Felicia and breaks Anna’s favorite coffee cup. Emma is overcome with sadness and cries, trying to figure out how she is supposed to be so happy with Gio (Giovanni Mazza), while Anna is locked away somewhere against her own will.

BAD NEWS FOR EMMA
Laura and Mac arrive to talk with Emma and Felicia, and reveal how Anna escaped and made it to the border, but she was now in the custody of the French authorities and they are transferring her to a long term mental illness facility, which freaks out Emma just as Gio arrives. Emma runs into his arms. Laura says at this point, Anna needs a strong advocate and she will make a call on her behalf. (But to who?)
At the Metro Court pool, Curtis (Donnell Turner) is arrested by Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) after throwing a punch at Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson). Joe takes Curtis to the station where Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) tells Fitzgerald to remove Curtis’ handcuffs. Now inside the interrogation room, Curtis explains that he believes Isaiah left he and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) dead at the side of the road the night of the accident and provoked him.
BROKEN HAND, BROKEN MAN
Curtis just wants to put it all behind him and says he will pay for Isaiah’s medical bills, but Dante informs him, he is trouble and he needs to call a lawyer. So, he calls Jordan. Meanwhile, Isaiah gets looked at while at General Hospital, and his hand is messed up. He comes to learn he will need multiple surgeries not only for broken bones but two tendons were severed in the process. Isaiah realizes his surgical days are numbered possibility forever, if not for a very long time.
JOSSLYN FINDS ANNA’S MESSAGE
While being held hostage, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tries again to convince Cassius (Ryan Paevey) to set her free. That leads into the two playing cards and Cassius asking Josslyn how she got into the WSB. Josslyn admits her boyfriend was murdered and she killed the person who was the culprit for retribution. She says she put together all the pieces that he did the crime, and now this line of work gives her purpose.
In the shocking final moments, after Cassius leaves for the night, Josslyn heads to the cot in the other part of the holding room and sees a hand-carved message on the wall from Anna that she was there and help captive on October 31, 2025. We fade to black.
So what did you think of the concern Emma showed for Anna, and the performance of Braedyn Bruner? What are your very initial impressions of Jonathan Bennett as Joe Fitzgerald? Which character is annoying you more in the story … Curtis, Jordan, Portia or Isaiah? Weigh-in via the comment section.

However, with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) having full-knowledge of Rocco shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and his own desire and plan to keep his son safe right in Port Charles, he firmly tells Lulu,“You will make my son a fugitive over my dead body!”
Meanwhile, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is trying to find a way out of captivity and as she moves her bed she finds a shocking message,“Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was held captive here. I was taken on 10-31-25.” Suddenly, Josslyn is so panicked and determined. She tells herself she is going to get out of there. Next, we see her smashing a chair into someone’s face! GENERAL HOSPITAL SPOILERS
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is getting all jittery again, as it appears she has gone back into Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hospital room and is ready to inject him with another secret dose of the medication to keep him in a paralytic state, after she accidentally jabbed him during his brawl with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). As viewers know, that dose of the drug meant to keep Drew in a locked-in state. However, now Jack starts to move!
In addition, General Hospital welcomes Jonathan Bennett to the cast as PCPD Detective Joe Fitzpatrick, and in key moment he is seen at the police station. As to just what Joe will be up to? Well, in an additional newly released clip featuring Bennett in his debut episode on Monday, it’s clear that Detective Fitzpatrick is looking into Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Isaiah’s (Sawandi Wilson) altercation at the Metro Court Pool when he says, “What are the chances Ashford talks his way out of an arrest? ‘General Hospital’s’ Finn Carr and Dominic Zamprogna Deliver the ‘Power Performances of the Week’
The on-screen father/son combo of General Hospital’s Dante and Rocco Falconeri as portrayed by Dominic Zamprogna and Finn Carr were part of high emotional stakes scenes on episodes airing May 11-15.
First, Finn Carr’s Rocco is so guilt-ridden and burdened with the secret that he shot WSB director, Ross Cullum that it’s eating him alive. So much so, that he gets into a heated argument with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). Rocco feels so badly that Danny’s father was taken from him for parts unknown by the WSB, all because Jason refused to implicate Rocco as the shooter.
In a heartbreaking scene, Rocco shows up at Britt’s door and lets her know he can’t take it anymore and that the secret he is keeping is tearing him apart. The fear is palpable in Rocco’s eyes. Britt calls Rocco a hero for saving her life and Jason’s and he has to remember that. Britt hugs him and promises that he can come talk to her anytime. In that moment, Rocco felt seen and felt safe.

Courtesy/ABC
ROCCO ON THE EDGE
All of the beats mentioned above were played with depth and acting maturity by Finn Carr; that it is so very clear why the writers and the producers are so comfortable giving him the ball in this umbrella story. He steps up to the plate every time and hits it out of the park.
Rocco also overheard his parents fighting over him after Dante figured out that Rocco was responsible for the shooting, and confronted Lulu (Alexa Havins) for withholding the truth from him. As their argument escalated and their relationship was further threatened by the lies, Rocco listened to the whole thing from the outside porch.
Eventually Dante, who had learned the truth by having Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) help him piece together what happened the night Cullum was shot, has a heart to heart with his son. He asks Rocco to tell him in his own words the events that transpired, and promises Rocco, that even though he is the police commissioner, he is going to help him. Rocco goes step by step over how Cullum was about to strike Jason with a weighted-baton and how the gun was loose on the ground and he shot him. Dante says his actions saved Jason and Britt’s life, and that he is going to help his son from here on out. He just wished everyone had come to him sooner, because as the father it’s his job to protect his son, not the other way around.
DANTE COMES TO TERMS
Still later in the week, Dante is visited by Elizabeth, and they discuss how they are going to cover-up any evidence that Rocco was at the hospital the night of the shooting with a hand injury, and that Dante is going to make sure the evidence against Rocco disappears. Something that is a huge disconnect for anyone that knows what a fine and upstanding cop Dante has been through the years, but he is determined to help his son stay safe and to keep him close.
However, Cullum is on the hunt for said evidence, and thinks Danny may have shot him in the back (or does he … and he knows Rocco shot him?). He visits Dante’s office and wants the evidence in the shooting. Meanwhile, bets are we are a few story beats away from Danny learning Rocco shot Cullum.
Throughout all the material given to Finn Carr and Dominic Zamprogna they rose to the occasion. Finn, getting the opportunity to play the often uptight Rocco on the edge, and Dominic, showing us how he can make us feel what Dante is feeling just by watching the emotion and hurt in his eyes. Therefore, Michael Fairman TV names Finn Carr and Dominic Zamprogna our picks for the Power Performances of the Week.
Now below, let us know if you agree with our picks of Finn and Dominic as the standout performances of the week, and if so, what moment really tugged on your heartstrings featuring Rocco and/or Dante via the comment section.
