GENERAL HOSPITAL: Did the ABC Soap Opera Just Tee Up a Jason and Serena Pairing?

The Tuesday, October 6 episode of General Hospital kicked-off with Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) literally turned upside down and stuck on the Quartermaine roof in front of Jason (Steve Burton), who came to her rescue.
This marked the first time that Kelly Kruger and Steve Burton shared any substantial screen time together since Kruger debuted on the ABC soap opera back in July.
In story, Serena was trying to save the peregrine falcons’ nest that Tracy (Jane Elliot) wanted exterminated. Jason agreed to help Serena relocate the nest to the nature preserve. Said relocation would be put in the preserve adjacent to the property, think where Ava (Maura West) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) buried Brennan (Chris McKenna)!
Later, when they returned to the Quartermaine mansion, the two have more banter where Serena told Jason they should both check themselves for ticks. Serena has done a full body check in the bathroom, but then asks Jason to go through her hair and look for any signs of ticks. Clearly, one or both may have ticks prompting suspicion if they wind up at GH with Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) as their doctor who previously treated Ava for the tick stuck in her hair!

ROMANCE SWITCH-UPS
While initially General Hospital fans suspected that the character of Serena was being brought back to the canvas in the form of Kruger as a love interest for Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), in recent weeks and in admission by Tanisha Harper, it appears that GH is teasing a Michael and Jordan romance. The two have been spending more time together at Aurora, and Michael helped her get accepted into the burn clinic in Germany to treat her facial scars from the car accident.
Meanwhile, after Steve Burton returned to GH after his extended hiatus this June, it was clear that the writers were heading in the direction of a Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason break-up.
Eventually, a few weeks ago, the duo called it quits after Anna (Finola Hughes) tried to kill Britt, and Jason would not help Britt press charges against his friend, who was suffering from delusions after being mentally gaslighted by Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and company.
So, what did you think of the scenes between Jason and Serena on today’s GH? Do you think Kelly and Steve have on-screen chemistry that you would be open to be seeing how it plays out? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
I don’t like the character of Serena at all. Can’t put my finger on it, but she doesn’t fit well into the mix on GH. I said that about Joe too, and I gave him time, and now I like Joe. Serena kinda creeps me out a bit, but I’ll give her time too. I do not see a spark between Serena and Jason, just like there wasn’t a spark between Serena and Michael.
She gets it from her mother I guess.
What the hell is actually going on? Are the writers trying to kill GH? For real. What possible rationale is there for forcing so many people together who have zero chemistry (and actually induce a gag reflex)? Trina & Gio, Joss & Hudson, Ava and Drew, Rocco and Scout, Valentin and Carly, and now Jason and Serena? I don’t think they could have done worse if they pulled names from a hat. It is painful to watch the awkward, forced scenes. If it was playful and comedic, maybe. But this is playing as serious and it’s off the rails..
I agree with every word. JJJ sums it up nicely at how bad GH has become.
They are trying hard and from my point of view, success is ar the corner. The show is unwa right now.
I don’t think Trina & Gio will be romantically entangled. Hudson seems to be shifting to Brooklyn. Ava & Drew DO have chemistry. Rocco & Scout too young to care but no matter what people say – they’re not siblings. I mean we all know what Greg & Marsha did when he moved to the attic. And I’m sure Peter/Jan and Bobby/Cindy had some fun as well. Valentin & Carly are great. But hey, we all have our opinions. I’m all for moving things around to see what does work. And really, how can anyone fairly judge Jason & Serena after 5 minutes of scenes. And I will say, as someone who watched Port Charles, KK’s Serena doesn’t work for me at the moment, but I’m willing to withhold judgment.
I felt absolutely no chemistry between the two of them. Besides, Jason was born in 1981 and Serena in 1993. Jason is too old for Serena. A Michael and Serena combination would make better sense.
And those are on-air birth dates. In the story, Jason was more like born in maybe 1975. He was involved with Karen (Serena’s sister) in high school … the same year Serena was born.
I’m interested to see where it goes. I just don’t know how you pair Serena with Jason without having Kin Shriner return as Scott.
That would be fantastic if they could have Kin return.
They are golden! I’m in for the ride of Serena & Jason.
It would seem that Lucy is determined to get her daughter down the pants of one Quartermaine heir or another. First it was Mikey. Now Jason . Jason’s probably smart enough to see if she’s trying to run a con on him or anyone else in the family.
But if they moved the falcons nest next door to the “nature reserve” and picked up some ticks there, it’s ultimately going to point back to the very unnatural thing that was also recently moved to that property. Assuming Outback doesn’t dig him up first
I truly hope not! What’s up with the out of no where couplings lately? Most of them have no chemistry.
Unpopular opinion but I love Kelly Kruger as Serena. I’ve liked her since she played Mac on Y&R. I hope she doesn’t get fired. I can’t believe all the cruel comments on her looks. I think the writing is the problem but what else is new?
Me Too!
I can imagine that it might be hard these days to pair Steve with another actor. It would take a special actor to do that. I think Kelly has the chops to pull it off. I would enjoy to see it happen so Serena and Jason it is. Just my humble opinion.
Ick. The age gap
Jason and Serena no does not work . It would be better to let Jason and Britt play with others for a little while and then Britt ends up having to sacrifice possibly her life for Jason’s. But of course she lives and they relize how much they love each other.
Getting more ridiculous by the day. This upside down Missy needs to go. Her & Lulu.
Lol, right!!
Cannot stand Serena & Lucy has always been the most annoying person on the show. All I want from this is for someone to find Jack’s body! Anyone! Hurry up!
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! SO GROSS!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!! I DONT LIKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!!
Serena is gonna take some time to get used to, I guess. Nothing against the actress, it’s the character for me.
Not thrilled about this potential couple.
I do like the idea of Ava and Drew… mayhem and chaos could ensue. Heck, I’d even like to see Esme return and hook up with Drew and cause maximum chaos!!
I want Nick and Esme back. Why do they keep bringing the same new characters in when there is so much history to chose from. Nothing against Joe, Hudson and the new wsb dr but they all look exactly the same!
How about no?
Why her eyes popping like that? Why her mouth look like that?
Tics? In mid-October? Sorry, try again.
Love Serena she need more air time and the actress that’s playing her is doing a good job I believe in giving people chances she ain’t been on the show that long her character and her and Jason would make a great couple .

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Heather Webber Makes a Surprise Return Stunning Trina; Alley Mills Weighs-In on Her Comeback

The Friday, October 30 episode of General Hospital came to a conclusion with a one-two cliffhanger. The first, as Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) finished rehearsing their song at the Cats Eye Lounge, a woman’s feet where seen entering the club.
When the camera panned up it revealed a well-dressed Heather Webber (Alley Mills) applauding and yelling “bravo!” at the two young performers, but with Trina absolutely shocked to see her!
While General Hospital fans knew two-time Daytime Emmy winner was rejoining the show as the supposed reformed “Hook” killer (after cobalt poisoning due to her hip surgery played with her mind), what is Heather’s ‘state of mind’ now?

Courtesy/ABC
For months, GH has been teeing up the mystery of who is stalking Trina, with someone adding clippings of Trina to their “obsession” board.
Many viewers have felt that it will wind up being Heather who is seeking revenge on Trina, since Heather’s daughter Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) went overboard a boat and into the Siene in France, and is believed to be dead, after Spencer (last played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez) saved Trina from her.
Speaking with TV Insider about her GH return this fall, Alley Mills shared on her first scenes back: “That was so fun because I love working with Tab, but I’ve never worked with the other kids before. I’ve seen them on TV, but I have never met them before, and they’re really talented, and they definitely got in Heather’s face. And the blessed Shawn Reeves, the wonderful costumer, put me in this fabulous outfit.”

With Heather soon to mix-up with the residents of Port Charles, Mills added that Heather now has some wealth to boot! “It’s been an uphill battle, and she just hopes that people will understand and forgive her,” explains Mills. “But with the wonderful voice of Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte (co-head writers, GH and this year’s Daytime Emmy winners for Outstanding Writing in a Daytime Drama), she just has so much spunk.”
Mills added, “I love the way they write her (Heather). She doesn’t really have a ton of boundaries and social awareness and softness. But she just won’t let people get her down. She’s like one of those dolls outside the gas station. You throw them down, and they pop back up. I feel like Heather is kind of like that now, but in Gucci.”
So, were you stunned to see Heather Webber dressed quite elegantly and showing up at the Cat’s Eye Lounge? Do you think that now more than ever Heather is Trina’s stalker? Let us know via the comment section. But first, you can check out when Heather makes her presence now below.
