GENERAL HOSPITAL: Kayden Brenna Tokarski Makes Her Debut; Is Scout Working with Drew To Bring Down Willow?

On the Monday, July 20th episode of General Hospital, 16-year-old, Kayden Brenna Tokarski made her debut as the new Scout Cain; the daughter of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and the late Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
In Kayden’s first scenes she appeared with Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Cain), Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine) and Daytime Emmy nominee, Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn Quartermaine).
When Tokarski entered the GH canvas on-screen, here’s what went down: Willow and Scout showed up at the Quartermaine stables. After Willow exits, Scout tells Tracy she was hoping she would allow her to use the lake on the property for a swim practice.

SCOUT WANTS TRACY TO ALLOW DREW ON THE QUARTERMAINE BOATHOUSE PROPERTY
Suddenly, Brook Lynn enters and with a wink-wink to the audience as she notes how grownup Scout looks! Now, Scout begins to explain to BLQ and Tracy that she has been training for a charity swim and plans to donate the money she raises for breast cancer research in honor of Monica.
Tracy being Tracy know something is up and asks Scout point blank, “What’s the catch?” Scout pipes up that there is one catch: She wants Tracy to let Drew watch her swim. Tracy agrees to allow Drew onto Quartermaine property for Scout. When Scout exits, Tracy makes a remark to Brook Lynn that Scout is definitely acting like a Quartermaine.
But do you think there is more to this? Is Scout onto or in on the fact that Drew will soon be seen able to speak and move? Could Scout be on to Willow’s machinations and be the one who actually trips her up and Willow’s house of cards finally comes tumbling down around her? Stay tuned.
THE AGED-UP SCOUT
On her GH debut, Kayden Brenna Tokarski spoke to Soap Opera Digest on what concerns the GH faithful might have or the older version of Scout. “I know that this age-up and recast was shocking to many. I think many people are concerned that she’s going to be very bratty, but I think just the opposite. I think she’s a lovely teenager who’s navigating a lot of things in life, but she’s a problem-solver and always trying to keep the peace and help others,” shared Kayden.
The young actress also added, “I truly hope that people enjoy watching Scout’s storyline and seeing some new relationships in her life that are a little more grown-up.”
So this begs the question: Do you think the new version of Scout Cain will be scheming like a Quartermaine with the adventuress traits of her mother Sam, and the often unscrupulousness of her dad, Drew? Do you think she will be helping Drew destroy Willow? Let us know your thoughts and send your welcomes to Kayden via the comment section below.
Oh hey! I didn’t even think that Scout might be using this as an opportunity to expose Willow. If so, I like it. I also like this little actress who plays Scout. She comes off as being a real natural and unaffected giving credence to her name of Scout( as in Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird).
I think that needs to happen in Drew and Willow’s kitchen. She can invite Aiden to bake some cookies and put arsenic in them for step-monster Willow.
She’s adorable and has potential.
What a great introduction! Looks like Mark Teschner did it again. Kayden looks like the epitome of the four performers who played her grandparents – Alexis Davis, Julian Jerome, Alan Quartermaine, and even Susan Moore.
Acting wise, you get Jane Elliot as your first screen partner and seem totally at ease. Scout’s gonna be a handful as she matures. And I’m there for it.
I’d love it if Scout is working with Drew to cut down Weeping Willow. I almost jumped through the television when she asked Chase to go on a trip with her. You deceitful snake, leave that married man alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’ve got your own husband. The man you tried to kill and have been holding prisoner for months.
I was impressed by Kayden. She definitely held her own with the adults. I look forward to seeing more of her.
Drew and Scout working together to take down Willow? I guess we’d call that The Cain Mutiny.
I think so did anybody else saw how she looked at willow when she was going out to let her talk to Tracy
She looks like Kate Mansi.
I watched this episode and agree that she did a good job. She’s a great addition to the cast.
I’m sorry, this replacement character doesn’t fit with this family.
I do not like this version of scout.. I don’t care for the actress either.. This girl is all wrong for the part and to old

‘General Hospital’ Casts Alimi Ballard in New Role

A familiar face to ABC daytime fans is about to make a return to the broadcast television network, when Alimi Ballard makes his debut as new character William Baines on the Thursday, September 3 episode of General Hospital.
Early in his career, Ballard played Frankie Hubbard, the grown-up son of legendary All My Children super couple, Angie (Debbi Morgan) and Jessie Hubbard (Darnell Williams). Alimi played the part starting on Loving in 1993 which later was rebranded The City in 1995.
The GH casting news came from TV Insider, and while no other casting details were made immediately available about the character of William Baines, he enters the canvas hot on the heels of a murder mystery after Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) was found dead in the Metro Court pool. Could William Baines be a detective, a WSB agent, or something else? Stay tuned!

So, when William Baines hits Port Charles on tomorrow’s Thursday September 3 episode of GH, how do you think the character will fit into the storyline? Looking forward to seeing Alimi Ballard back on the soaps after more than 30 years? Let us know via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brennan is Found Dead in the Water as Suspects Mount and Cover-Ups Begin

The Tuesday, September 1 episode of General Hospital confirmed that the body floating in the Metro Court pool was indeed WSB Port Charles bureau chief, Jack Brennan, thus ending the run of Chris McKenna, who debuted on GH back in February of 2025.
In story, Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) screamed and Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) had a major freak out, when they were the ones to find Brennan’s body lifeless in the pool. Being in fear that Drew (Cameron Mathison) would use this against him, Danny told Charlotte they need to flee the scene.
Elsewhere in Jack’s hotel room, a panic-stricken Ava (Maura West) was trying to convince Drew to get out of Brennan’s room asap since she thinks the sleeping pill she spiked his drink with only made him head back to his room. Eventually, Ava was able to convince Drew to leave, and the two headed to the pool deck and were in for the shock of their lives when they saw Jack’s body floating face up in the pool!

THIS DOESN’T FLOAT AVA AND DREW’S BOAT
Ava went into cover-up mode in fear Jack’s death would be traced back to her since Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) saw her with Brennan at the Gardens. Next, Ava threatens to take down Drew with her if she goes down for a crime he put her up to in the first place.
Then, the pair decide to move Brennan’s body out of the pool and place him in a laundry cart. They are going to use the service elevator to bring the body down to the garage and dump Brennan somewhere.
At the Quartermaine boathouse, Charlotte and Danny arrive and Danny realizes he put a dent into Chase’s (Josh Swickard) truck that he “borrowed” without Chase’s permission. Suddenly, Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco (Finn Carr) were on the scene and four got into heated words when Danny insulted Drew which brought Scout to tears that she doesn’t want to have to choose sides between her brother and her father.
SECURITY BREACH
After Rocco and Scout left, Charlotte had a new freak out when she realized the bracelet she had on is missing. Cut to: Jack’s wrist and sleeve in the laundry cart with Charlotte’s bracelet around it.
Jason (Steve Burton) helped Carly (Laura Wright) with figuring out how the hotel’s security system was disabled and the alarm was deactivated. Suspecting foul play to a VIP guest, Carly and Jason go up to to Jack’s room. However, once they were inside, Brennan was nowhere to be found. Just then, Jason looked around and realized someone was in the room doing a search.
So, it looks like plenty of people will need to cover their actions including: Danny, Charlotte, Ava and Drew. But if none of them caused the direct death of Brennan, who did? Chief among the suspects would have to be Willow Cain, then we had Nina leveling a threat against Jack overheard by Carly and others, or are they only red-herrings and the real killer is someone you wouldn’t expect? Also, what will Jack’s autopsy report reveal? Stay tuned, and share your theories via the comment section.
