GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ronnie’s Tea is Spiked and She Has Some Choice Words for Tracy, Willow is Carted Off, and Jordan Knows Portia is Pregnant

It’s clear that Martin (Michael E. Knight) and Ronnie (Erika Slezak) have a connection as evident by their interaction on the Monday, October 20, episode of General Hospital. In story, the Quartermaines are hosting a tea party to welcome Ronnie to Port Charles, now that she owns Monica’s house.

Martin conveniently shows up claiming he has Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) phone, which she has on her, and Stella (Vernee Watson), who is attending the get-together, invites them into the tea party. Once there, Martin is introduced to Ronnie, and there is an uneasiness given off by Monica’s supposed sister.

The camera pans to a tea cup. Later, after Martin exits, Ronnie starts to act drunk and or drugged, when Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) says she should go upstairs and lay down, Ronnie says the party was just getting started, and she puts her feet up on the coffee table as Tracy (Jane Elliot) walks in on the scene was appalled.

Tracy accused Ronnie of having a drinking problem! Ronnie says she is just relaxing, and does Tracy even know how to do that? Ronnie takes it so far as to say to Tracy: “You are uptight, frigid, and completely undersexed. You should go out and find yourself some debauched degenerate guy who will take care of that for you.” With that everyone in the room including Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) look stunned as Ronnie falls back on the couch cackling!

Also, at the tea party, Portia’s (Brook Kerr) suspicious behavior made Jordan (Tanisha Harper) conclude that her rival is pregnant. Will Portia fess up, and say that Curtis is the father of the baby (even though she doesn’t know if it’s Isaiah’s?) to drive a wedge between Curtis and Jordan from finally getting back together?

Elsewhere, in the courtroom, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is carted off to Pentonville for Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting after Nina (Cynthia Watros) recanted her statement and pled guilty to lying about her whereabouts the night the congressman was shot. Drew calls Nina “a bitch.” Willow is carted away in handcuffs as she spews that she never wants to see, or talk to her mother again as Drew promises to help Willow.

Michael (Rory Gibson), who is being questioned by Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), says he had no part in framing Willow for Drew’s shooting, but if she did it, he wouldn’t be surprised. In the Quartermaine kitchen Michael says, “Dante, if I had shot Drew, he’d be dead, and you know what? I wish I had framed Willow. I really do. Because I would make damn sure that she was found guilty, that way my children would never have to see her again.” That statement was overheard by Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Lulu.

Finally, Carly (Laura Wright), sort of, confronts Brennan (Chris McKenna) over Josslyn. He never says he recruited her daughter to be a WSB agent or fessed up to Carly. He only said he protected her from Agent Vaughan. When he leaves, Carly phones Spinelli (without Jason’s knowledge) and ask him to create a new identity for her that would hold up under a serious background check.

So, did Martin spike Ronnie’s tea or was it Tracy? If Ronnie and Martin know each other, what was their ultimate plan? Do you think Willow shot Drew? And, what is Carly going to do next? Go undercover to investigate Brennan? Share your theories via the comment section below.

Idk what the connection is between Ronnie and Martin but yesterday’s episode has me lmao during the tea party scenes!! I’m all for those kinds of episodes and Drew can climb in a dumpster as long as he takes his storyline with him!!!

What sacrificial lambs will submit against Erika in the next guest starring Emmy category? The award (which would be her 7th) was probably hers once her GH stint was announced but Monday’s episode sealed it.

Some may see elements of NIki Smith, but there are some nuances to Ronnie.

Many of the women look liked they had a hard time staying in character as the scenes were scripted with much humor. I had to rewind Ronnie curtsying to Felicia a couple of times.

Michael reminding Dante what happened the last time Dante encouraged him to tell what happened was a good nod to history.

Team Jordan – reading Portia like a book.

Love the humor running through GH as of late/ needed and appreciated. Like you, I had to rewind Ronnie curtsying to the Aztec Queen and Tracy’s amused reaction. My only complaint is I don’t want Ronnie to turn out to be a bad person.

But she is and boring, this story is stupid and the almost whole family are blind

Jordan is this show version of Phyllis absolutely sick of her character being in Everybody business

The writers have turned Jordan and Portia into immature children.

I think Carly is the one who is going to visit Val the Bastard in prison. When I saw the preview video on Monday, I knew that hair looked too dark to be Anna. So Carly in a wig with a fake ID actually makes more sense. Now how she gets into a maximum security international prison just for a “visit”? That’s entirely another question. Apparently Spinelli is going to give her one HELL of a fake identity so she can pull that off.

As far as fake sister Ronnie tripping balls on the spiked tea…. remember a couple months back when Tracy was accused of drugging Dragon Chow Drew with Ketamine, and it turns out she actually did buy some of the drug – from the veteranarian to used as horse tranquilizers. Does that mean Tracy did it? Maybe. She certainly would have motive to make Ronnie look like an idiot in front of many witnesses. Don’t know why Marty would drug somebody who he’s probably working with, but yeah.. you can bet your soul that yesterday was NOT the first time he met Ronnie.

Ronnie is a hoot. A match for Tracy thats for sure.

I am so sick of pinched face Willow screaming that she hates Nina. This character has been ruined for me. There’s no going back.

Pinched face is accurate. As is weeping willow said by another commenter here the other day. I’m sick of it too.

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
