GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ronnie Throws Tracy Out of Her House In Epic Showdown
Anyone waiting for the on-screen showdown between daytime television legends, Jane Elliot (Tracy) and Erika Slezak (Ronnie) were in for a treat on the Tuesday, October 21 episode of ABC’s General Hospital.
In the pick-up from Monday, after Ronnie’s erratic behavior and comments hurled at Tracy, she tells everyone at the tea party in her honor that she is not a drunk, as much as Tracy continued to point out that Monica’s sister is nothing but a sloppy one.
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) checks out Ronnie who claims she did not have booze and to check her tea, which Felicia (Kristina Wagner) says does and says it does not smell like alcohol. Next, Ronnie accuses Tracy of slipping her a mickey. She knows from her years as a waitress the effects the drug can have which is how she says she feels.

Tracy denies it and Ronnie lets loose on her for treating her like an interloper, when all she ever wanted to do was to find out more about Monica. Ronnie thanks Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) for organizing the get-together, but says Tracy tried to humiliated her and succeeded.
Brook Lynn questions Tracy. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) reminds Tracy that she once got Alexis drunk and framed her for drunk driving. Tracy swears up and down she did not drug this phony baloney. At this point, Ronnie has had it with Tracy and says its now her turn to talk!
At this point, Ronnie says she tried to get along with Tracy, but from the moment they met in the Quartermaine crypt, Tracy has been a complete witch to her. In an emotional turn, Ronnie claims she was impressed with what Monica made of her life and wanted to see if for herself.

However, now she truly pities Monica. Ronnie says she rather be dead broke and living in the streets than put up with Tracy’s tantrums. Ronnie adds Tracy planned to humiliate her. At that point, she calls Tracy cruel and spiteful and tells her to get of her house and to not come back.
Tracy tells Ronnie that she can’t throw her out. However, the rest of the guests and family do not defend Tracy. Olivia tells Tracy she’s been horrible to Ronnie since day one, and Brook Lynn tells her that she brought this on herself.
Defiant, Tracy says she’s been kicked out of the house before, but she always makes it back in, because she’s a Quartermaine. Tracy says it was cruel of Monica to leave the house to Ronnie and only give her a jar of relish, a woman she spent the last forty years with.

Before she walks out, Tracy tells Ronnie, Monica was never cruel, and something is very wrong here. Tracy tells Ronnie this is not her house and it never will be. As she exits, she tells Ronnie that she’s taking every photo of her family and her most precious possessions with her. A fuming Tracy storms out.
It was quite extraordinary to see Erika Slezak and Jane Elliot going at in these pivotal scenes. You can check out some of them in the video below.
Now let us know, are you enjoying seeing Erika and Jane battle it out as Ronnie and Tracy? Do you still believe Martin drugged Ronnie? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
Wow! That’s damn good acting – I didn’t want the episode to end.
In addition to the amazing guest star, in the room you had women representing 5 decades of GH in the scene (Tracy/1970s, Felicia/80s, Elizabeth/90s), Olivia/2000s and Brook Lynn/10s).
BLQ should be able to tell when Tracy is telling the truth. Tracy will forgive BLQ, but Olivia should take her pizza oven with her back to Bensonhurst- not allowing Tracy to stay at the MC???
Tracy’s response about Monica’s lack of cruelty should’ve piqued the ears of PI Felicia to investigate further.
Ronnie may be an unwitting pawn in Martin (and maybe even Nina’s) revenge on Tracy.
End result, truth comes out that Will was forged, Ronnie departs PC with a pseudo-apology from Tracy and Martin departs for a while to save face.
I don’t know who drugged Ronnie, but Tracy was 666% correct when she said there’s no way that Monica really left the mansion to this interloper. And as a Devil said yesterday, I don’t buy for a minute that Marty was meeting Ronnie for the first time.
The excuse of “finding Lulu’s phone” (which wasn’t hers) was really a lame story. Unfortunately Lulu’s going to find herself in the middle of all this, since apparently Tracy is going to be crashing at her house while she’s exiled from the mansion.
Where ever he is (and he’s not down here!) I’m sure Luke would find all of this amusing. But then he would probably help “Spanky Buns” plan her revenge.
Ronnie storyline makes zero sense. The fact that they have to dump down the Q’s is weird. Q’s would never just be warm & inviting to a perfect stranger who says she’s Monica sister. Who they never heard of or meet. Everything they have experience for over a year with Drew, their guards would be completely up regarding Ronnie. Brooklyn & Olivia saying to Tracy she brought it on herself. She hasn’t been accommodating to Ronnie . She can’t stay at the MC . What that doesn’t even sound like the Q’s. My question is if Martin did all this will everyone know or just the audience then dropped like looking for Cyrus or the murder of Jagger . Ronnie storyline wasn’t necessary.
You can say that again.
Ronnie storyline makes zero sense. The fact that they have to dump down the Q’s is weird. Q’s would never just be warm & inviting to a perfect stranger who says she’s Monica sister. Who they never heard of or meet. Everything they have experience for over a year with Drew alone there guards would be completely up regarding Ronnie. Brooklyn & Olivia saying to Tracy she brought it on herself she hasn’t been accommodating to Ronnie , she can’t stay at the MC. That’s not how the Q’s operate. My question is if Martin did all this will everyone know or just the audience. Will they follow through with it or just drop it. Like looking for Cyrus or who killed Jagger. Ronnie storyline wasn’t necessarily.
I was being figurative.
Ha ha! I see what you did there.
GH is on fire. The scenes with Tracy and Ronnie were classic soap, much like Krystal/Alexis on “Dynasty” and Iris/Rachel on “Another World.” Erika and Jane need to submit these scenes next year for a Daytime Emmy. If there are any fans out there that no longer watch, now is the time to tune back into the show. Besides the fallout of this storyline, the Drew/Willow, Carly/Jack, Portia/Curtis/Isaiah/Jordan and any scene with Alexis make this show MUST watch.
No Ronnie storyline isn’t necessary. The quartermains would not just take the word of stranger who says she Monica sister. They definitely wouldn’t side with her . Brooklyn & Olivia are trash for believe a stranger over Tracy . I have been watching this show since 1976 . Writers do better
I love Erika Slezak and Jane Elliott always brings it, but I will be glad when this storyline is over. I do believe Martin is behind this.
Now that I’m getting hooked on GH, sad to know the Erika has already completed filming. I wish they could have written a part that lasted longer than the November sweeps. I miss seeing her act, and she seems to blend in really well with the established actors on GH. I always had hope that the producers of Blue Bloods would have kept her on as a love interest for Len Cariou.
Glad to hear you’re hooked. Perhaps they can lure Erika back for 3 weeks in 2026. Thanks to GH’s block shooting schedule, they made 3 weeks stretch out to over a month and a half.
Maybe next time we get a group of scenes with Erika and Genie?
Absolutely horrible storyline
I totally agree. Monica would never leave the house to a stranger. And any of them that believe Ronnie are fools. It’s just so stupid.
Watching Erika Slezak and Jane Elliot go toe to toe was wonderful. Brings back very happy memories of the many, many battles between Viki and Dorian (the amazing Robin Strasser) on One Life to Live. I loved every second of Ronnie calling out Tracy. It’s about time someone stood up to Tracy and her nasty entitlement.
Interesting analogy. The key difference- on OLTL, Dorian – the outsider – was never recognized as the nice one. Viki (who most would consider nice) was claimed to be sanctimonious by the brash outsider.
Is Tracy entitled? Certainly. But she is fiercely loyal to her family when the chips are down (i.e. protecting Michael from prosecution). I see BLQ not support her is kind of sad. Would Cassie, Blair or Kelly throw Dorian under the bus?
I always liked Erika on OLTL but I despise her on GH. The character she plays is so shady. Monica would have never done this to her family and this is a slap in Leslie’s face to do this to her character. And please send holier than thou Olivia to make pizzas somewhere where the sun never shines.
Wow, have I ever missed Erika Slezak’s acting! Legendary!
I love the both of them
Stay tuned for when Ronnie tears down the whole east song of the Quartermaine mansion and replaces it with a tacky ballroom!
Love it, Harry! We also see elsewhere that same temperament that Ronnie showed when she was under the influence…
Thank you James and Lewis. I think you know I mean wing, not song
HA! Good one!

Maurice Benard Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ Writers; Teases Upcoming Sonny Scenes with Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric

With the highly-anticipated returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on this week’s June 24 episode of General Hospital, Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) upcoming return on July 13, which also serves as the ABC daytime drama’s 16,000 episode, things are about to fire on all cylinders in the story, as noted today by series star, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
On Father’s Day, the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor and mental health activist took to his Instagram and expressed in a video that he has some unbelievable upcoming senes with the aforementioned Burton and Hughes. Add to that Nazneen Contractor (Justine Turner) and Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), where Benard gave credit where credit is due to the GH writing team, which is led by co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten..
In this video, Benard said, “I just want to get on here and say that I did some work with Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Rick Hearst, Nazneen Contractor, and they’re all just fantastic. Truly fantastic. But, I want to say the writing was just exceptional. It truly was. It was exceptional. So, thankful for that kind of writing. I know writers don’t get the credit a lot, but I just want to say to the General Hospital writing team, keep rolling!”
GENERAL HOSPITAL PREVIEW
So now the question becomes, with a major tease like that, what is about to go down between Sonny, Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric? Will we finally get to the end of the line for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), as previously teased by the GH co-head writers? Will we learn what happened to Jason and Anna, fully? Will Justine and Sonny becomes closer or stop their liaisons? And what of Ric? Will he be true blue to his brother or double-cross him? There is a lot at stake as we move further into the summer and one that looks like it could be one of the more exciting ones in years!
FINOLA HUGHES CONFIRMED AMAZING SCENES WITH MAURICE BENARD
As a punctuation point to his video, Benard also shared this written message in the post: “I just did some wonderful scenes with Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Finola Hughes and Nazneen Contractor and and unbelievable writing, freaking amazing scenes that you will see in the near future on General Hospital.” In fact, Finola Hughes jumped in the post comment thread and responded, “I loved our scenes so much xxx”
Fans will most likely see all the scenes Benard referred to later in July, since GH tapes approximately six weeks ahead of air.
So, are you excited to see what Maurice is talking about? Are you hyped for what’s to come on GH? Any clue on what you think will go down between the main characters on the soap with the returns of Anna Devane and Jason Morgan to the mix? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

SINCE LEAVING GENERAL HOSPITAL
Previously, since his departure from the ABC soap opera. Chad starred alongside Zach Mendez in the world premiere of of Yum Yum at Annapolis, a new play written by Bruce Reisman. Duell last appeared on General Hospital on the January 21, 2025 episode.
The part was recast with Rory Gibson who debuted as the new Michael in May of 2025 during the Nurses’ Ball episodes and who has remained in the role since that time.
In an interview earlier this year on The Able Show, Duell said on his decision to exit the soap opera, “I was blessed to be part of that (show) for as long as I have, but what happens sometimes is if you’re doing the same thing, especially in a creative field for such a long time, you can get a little burnt out in a way. It can make you a little depressed, so that’s kind of what happened. On top of that, I had other things going on in my life at the time. My father passed away recently and I just needed a reset. So, I stepped away. A lot of times you have to go through some stuff to really step into that next level. I needed to kind of feel uncomfortable.”
So, what type of musical genre will Chad’s new song be? Country? Pop? Rock? Dance/Club? Something else? Let us know your thoughts via the comment section below, and if you are eager to hear the new single next week via the comment section below.
