GENERAL HOSPITAL: The JaSam Wedding Begins, Ava & Nina's Feud Reignites!

Courtesy/ABC

Friday’s episode of General Hospital featured the first leg of the JaSam wedding.  And in addition, the nuptials were trending on Twitter.

As the guests arrive to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) for the big day, the mother-of-the-bride Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), could not stop herself from picking up a glass or two of champagne early in the festivities.  Clearly a major drinking problem is about to be served up  for the character.  Michael (Chad Duell) arrives with Jake  (Hudson West) as did Alexis with Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), Molly (Haley Pullos) and Danny in tow.  As everyone is chatting about how a summer casual dress wedding was the order of the day, apparently Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) didn’t get the memo!  They are dressed to the nines – Jason in a tux, and Sam in an evening gown.  When the two are out of step compared to the dress of the entire wedding party, Kristina admits she went shopping for Sam earlier and has just the right thing for her to wear.  While Sam and Jason are getting redone for the wedding, Sonny brings up to Alexis her rift with Kristina, and that the jury selection is starting today for Julian’s (William deVry) trial.  Alexis tells Sonny she hasn’t given the trial a second thought and grabs a second glass of champagne from the bar.

After the wedding photographer takes group photos, Sam frets that somehow they forgot the most important part as there is no one to officiate the wedding! But Jason has a big surprise for Sam.  Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) then leaps down the staircase into her arms with a big hug, announcing that he, in fact, took an online course some 24 hours ago so he can marry them! He assures Sam it’s legal, and he even showed his certificate of completion via his Iphone.  Sam is so excited to have her wedding presided over by their best friend.   Later, when it’s time for the wedding to begin, everyone is in their places as Sam is about to walk down the aisle (or living room!) to the deck at the Corinthos home to marry her man.

And in another intriguing development on the episode, it was great to see powerhouse actresses Maura West (Ava) and Michelle Stafford (Nina) share scenes together, and for the writers to bring back into the conversation the horrendous act of revenge perpertrated by Nina on an unsuspecting Ava.   That of drugging her to induce labor and then kidnapping her newborn baby Avery.   It all comes about when Curtis (Donnell Turner) finds a possible  baby for Nina, and sets up a meeting between a young pregnant girl named Bridget.  The young girl tells Nina she wants a good home for her baby.  Nina says she is rich and is the editor-in-chief of Crimson so the baby will be more than well taken care of.  Bad news for Nina though, Ava happens upon the scene just as Nina is about to touch the girl’s tummy when her baby is kicking.  Ava screams: “Get your hands off that girl!”  She then tells recounts to Bridget how Nina kidnapped her, and then her baby. Bridgett leaves!  Ava reminds Nina that actions have consequences. Nina tells Ava when she’s going to pay, and one day everything she has done including; murdering Connie Falconeri and ruining her marriage will come back to bite her.  Nathan (Ryan Paevey) comes upon the confrontation and Ava shares how Nina was going to buy someone’s baby!  Nina is rattled.

So, what do you think of the JaSam wedding so far?  Spinelli officiating? Alexis’ drinking?  Will it be happily after ever for the duo?  Does Sam saying she does not have morning sickness on the day of her wedding mean anything?  Do you hope GH puts Ava and Nina in more scenes together?   How will Nina get a baby?  Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

There is no JaSam ..
These two are just Sam and Jason, a phony couple..
JaSam was Kelly and Steve…

Again— JaSam was Kelly and Steve..

This recreated couple is a FAIL ..

I am not feeling it either. Too forced, su.
Today wad a COMEDY OF ERRORS. Farcical.
So tired of couples making such a big deal of remarrying……of being best friends, hugging, kissing…..while Sonny slept with Sam and Carly slept with Jason…..disgusto. Just go to Town Hall. Yeah, I know, it’s a soap. How many bubbles did you count, su?LOL.

Miss Celia : YES YES YES and more YES

hoopla extravaganza!

“…Many have no idea how well Billy Miller and Amelia Heinle fit!!!! They exuded sensuality, beauty, the carefree freedom of children at play. ”

this is from your post below… had to thank you

since there is no longer… a Jason and Liz – Jason and Sam “warfare mania”

just have to put it out their… he’s still the best… with Amelia Heinle !

it’s like an acknowledge and give her another deserved emmy.. Victoria and Billy … reigned

As you can see, that’s how I feel, as well, Patrick. We need to get a grip, my friend. LOL. BM and AH will probably never reunite. But, the knowledge does not make me feel any better.
I truly wish I could get into this couple. I just can’t. Suffice it say that, at least, many are enjoying Sam and Jason. I am glad ….sincerely….I am not being facetious.

@Abruzzfan.
Hi, Abruzzfan,
I must agree with you about Sam’s dress. Actually I loved both ….the gown and the dress. They fit her body to perfection….and the hair! Just beautiful.
I wish she would wear lighter colors more often. The white brought out the light and beauty of her obsidian eyes.

I agree about Jasam. I love Billy Miller as Jadon but not with Sam. Anybody else, but with Sam it feels forced and fake to me.

I loved the wedding! I couldn’t stop smiling! I loved the photo shoots which I thought were very sweet. I absolutely loved the retro dress – classic elegance! Like Rebecca1, I think that Sam and Jason are great together. They’re very “non soapy” in that they come across as a very real couple with a great bond, an easy rapport with their scenes together with their family.

Kelly Monaco and Billy Miller, have wonderful chemistry. Billy Miller can act and is terrific as Jason. Steve Burton has moved on, to The Young And The Restless. You need to get over it, Steve Burton is never coming back to GH. Billy Miller is here to stay.

No one is disputing the fact that Steve has moved on. But, no one knows what the future has in store for ourselves…..much less others’s future, Maria. We all have our opinions. Unfortunately, I liked JAKE with Liz. Jason does not jive for me. My opinion.
Different strokes for different folks.
This does not reflect Kelly. She is so sweet and humble. I like that.

Steve is now the center of the crime-solving universe at Y&R by his own choice so, I’m over letting him steal my Jason joy but, I agree this new pairing lacks the magic. For me, it’s a combination of the writers not being able to figure out who this new Jason is and Billy’s discontent with that fact.

Apparently, while other great actors like Maura West and Michelle Stafford and Roger Howarth just let their professionalism and talent enable them to overcome the lame writing that sometimes requires them to be straight up clowns and be good at it, Billy Miller’s discontent with this blatant abuse of his talent appears to me to keep him from fully engaging. Still, I’m so happy he’s not with Liz, I can buy in because not a single character is who they could be and have been under better writing regimes and they are ALL better off now that Ron’s gone. Too bad he didn’t take his awful Franco character with him. Roger would be better served by any other role.

How do you know Billy Miller is “not content?” I think he’s charming and as I said way down the page I think this pairing is great…easy rapport and believable. I wasn’t buying him as Jason; the pensive more measured character is gone. That took a while for me to get used to. Now I just see him as a new character with the same name…same as I see Franco. Neither character as they’re written now is the same character as before. I’m just goin” with the flow…

Billy Miller is my idol, Soapluv. When it was rumored he was joining the cast of GH, I did a happy dance. When he left Y&R, he took the joy out of Billy Abbott and the soap itself, with him.
Many have no idea how well Billy Miller and Amelia Heinle fit!!!! They exuded sensuality, beauty, the carefree freedom of children at play.
By the same token they brought us sadness…..we cried and laughed with them…..we were moved.
This ‘thing’ called charisma is lacking in Sam; thus Jason’s upbeat tempo gets lost within her bland aura. I saw a different Jason in Jake when he was with Liz. And, I definitely respect your opinion. That’s why we are here….to share and discuss our thoughts and differences.
Now, I can certainly understand why some fans feel the way the do……they did not see Billy and Victoria together. If my mind had not witnessed the Billy and Victoria experience, then I, too, would probably accept Jason and Sam, albeit their sexual interaction does not tease my baser instincts. Well, to be honest anything they do together or even talk about is so ‘unsparkly’ .
My opinion.

Su0000, we agree once more–LOL! Must be something in the water, eh? The wedding was such a BORE, I couldn’t even keep my mind on it!
And from what era did Kelly’s (Samantha?) dress come from????

It is surprising that you can take two beautiful actors who are both talented and charismatic, and only produce a yawn fest.
That said, I do think they’re kind of sweet together and I loved Sam sporting the Elizabeth Taylor as Maggie the Cat look. But yes, I am afraid I agree with the lot of you—they lack magic.
I am enjoying Lizzy with Franco and Hayden with Dr Finn.

Who cares about a boring wedding between one of the most boring couples in daytime. They have always been a bore regardless of who was playing Jason, yes they were a bore even with Steve.

Elizabeth did them (and us) a favor keeping them apart.

I agree su, Miller is a bust as Jason!

Great scenes with Maura West and Michelle Stafford. They are two powerhouse actors who shine with the right material. Roger Howarth is also hitting it out of the park, as is Rebecca Herbst whose style is more understated and can sometimes be taken for granted. GH has the best cast in daytime, hands down. The wedding scenes were fine but the notion of a newly ordained Spinelli performing the ceremony was a distracting conceit. It would have been so much better had he merely been a surprise guest. Long live GH!

I agree with all you wrote Mr. Media except for Spinelli. I think Mac got a quick license to perform marriages too…or was it another character? Someone on OLTL? LOL, I just know it’s been done!

Lucy could have officiated as well.

I was SOOOOOO afraid it was going Richard Simmons was going to pop out in his exercise shorts and tank top to perform the ceremony. I was relieved it was Spinelli.

It must be a small ballpark because I am not impressed with Howarth!

Sonny has a lot of connections in the church. Bringing in Spinelli was stupid!

Could they have been married in Church, Timmmy? Regardless, since it’s ABC, ‘they’ should have called upon Joy Behar. She’s licensed. LOL.

Argh! Simmons…may he never buffoon his way into Port Charles again…

The only time I watch GH is when I know Michelle Stafford and Maua West are going to be on. Whether they have scenes together or not, GH was smart in grabbing such two soap opera powrf houses. The scenes when Ava was giving birth were excellent acting on both parts. I say keep the scenes coming. Together or separate. But together is much better. I think they feed off of each other, and bring the best out of each other. As for the wedding, I don’t have investment in the couple. I was just watching for the wonderfully talented Billy Miller. But they were dragging out the regaining of his memory. They drag the the stories out much and I loose interest. I was also loving the Laura/Kevin situation, but it seems like it ended before it even started. A waste of the talents ofGenie Francis

ie: Genie Francis, is going on her , per contract, summer vacation

if I read correctly… is one month absence.. per SOD

so… my best guess.. is they created conflict… to keep the momentum ?

I love this couple… I want them together

kudos to reading “praise” for Michelle Stafford… as Nina… and YES! her past scenes with Maura West… are stunning

I still wish GH would not make Michelle Stafford acting … childlike or lacking confidence and not sure of herself… it would only benefit her character belong and good for the show.. to see her kicking ass… whenever and wherever… have at it MS…

Okay….that fake scene with the fake pregnant belly in the fake park where Ava just happened to be there, with Nathan coming out of the bushes at the opportune moment, was just too much.
Why the clandestine meeting in the park? Is that keeping Curtis’s search on the DL? Yeah, really discreet!! It’s a PUBLIC park!!!!!!!!
Quasi-writers!!

Here is my favorite voice of reason. I thought those scenes so were so stupid and contrived. Props didn’t help either; dumb hat ??? MS’s bouncing side curls that kept plopping in her eyes. What tha?? MUST they put this woman in every scene. Is there anyone that actually gives a damn about Nina?
Seriously…. Ava was just hanging out and overhears the whole conversation? GH needs to also remember that Ava is a cold blooded murderer; something they seem to forget when she gets on her high horse.
LAME all around — filler. waste of my time.

ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Do you guys read the news? Do you know that women are having babies and adopting babies well into their 40s and 50s? That this is not the 1800’s, or 1900’s for that matter. Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Janet Jackson, who know how many other well-known women as well as not in-the-public eye women have or adopt babies in later life. The one thing they usually have in common is that they’re wealthy enough to raise a child. And let’s not forget how many Men have children later in life.

People of the same age chronologically differ in age clinically. You can have two 30 year olds and one looks and feels 20, the other looks and feels 40. You can have a 50-year-old like Michelle Stafford/Nina and a 50-year-old who aren’t so…on the youthful side mentally and physically.

Times have changed. Women live well into their 90s. On the other hand, unfortunately younger people pass too. We never know in life.

What I do think is that Nina has a lot of love to give. She’s vibrant, financially independent and savvy. I don’t think she’d ever harm any baby and being this is soapville I’d like to see her get her shot at it.

If you look at studies some psychologists and child-rearing experts say it’s actually better to have a child in one’s 40s and beyond. Look it up.

Bingo Cee! Nathan creeping was silly! The ONLY reason it was in a “Park” was to have two middle aged women act like school girls! Cheap!

Hello, my Timmmy:
Yes, that infantile scene in the park was so not necessary. I keep hoping for my Michelle to get out of Nina’s head and become NORMAL!!!!!! It hurts watching her thus.
I do not know what the writers are thinking. Are they trying to give the message that Nina is not rehabilitated? That she is still a twenty-year old in her delusional mind?
I honestly cannot come up with a better assumption. This is a fifty-year old, single woman ( who looks gorgeous; sexy as all that) who wants to venture into a life by rearing a child…..from infancy. On her own. Yeah, I am all for powerful women who can do everything and anything. But, I question Nina’s sanity, at this point. Is she mentally healed? Will she ever be?
They’re all nuts….coming up with such a Neverneverland story, in the first place.
‘Nite, Timmmy…first day of school, tomorrow.

Ceecee…are you aware that Michelle Stafford will be 51 this month and that her daughter is only five years old I believe AND she had a new baby last year. Surrogate? adoption? Not sure. My point is, as I also wrote above women can and do have/rIse babies in their 40s and 60s in real life and thus soaps. It’s not as incredulous or unusual as you say. So no, the writers aren’t creating a “never never land” story. Rather, art imitates life.

Meant to write raise not rise, 50s not 60s…but could be too.

@Rebecca1.
Hi, Rebecca.
I am not sure if by “you guys”, you include moi? I have no problem with Nina adopting a baby on her own, despite her age. I question her mental state. Is she fit to do well by an infant?
I repeat, hats off to these brave women. Also, I think I said this before…..my great-grandmother gave birth to her last child at age 47. So, it is not anything out of the ordinary for me. My grandmother is 75, while her brother is 50. There is a twenty-five year difference between these sibling….with a few in-between, LOL.
Believe me, I wish Nina would get a baby already, so that this baby obsession by the writers will be overcome!!!!!!! Not only that, I hope Franco will return to the fold. He and Liz are ‘cute’, sweet as pie….but, something is lacking. I cheered for them for a time. But, I’m over it. Nina and Franco had that special ingredient which cannot be duplicated with anyone else. Well, not anyone on GH.
If Jeff Branson were to move to Port Charles….ahh, yes!! My world would be perfetto. LOL.
Rebecca, you do not have to sell Michelle/Nina to me. I said a million times I have a girl-crush on Michelle and Nina, (16 years!!!!! Love this woman!!!) LOL. But, the character still comes off as a little ‘off’. That little fact should be remedied tout-de-suite.
And, yes, agreed! Women live well into their nineties. My great-gran is a testament to that!! She’s 98; with all her wits about her.
‘Nite, Rebecca…rough day, today…..SCHOOL!!

Hi CeeCee…yes! I was referring to you, lol, more than the others! And I wasn’t saying it confrontationally just so you know…just frustrated. I guess I misunderstood what you wrote…if you re read it…and I’m paraphrasing…you said this is a 50 year old who wants to raise a child from infancy…does she think she’s 20 in her delusional mind??? That sounded to me like a 50-year-old ( which by the way I think the character is in her 40’s) would have to be delusional and think she’s still twenty if she wants to raise a baby at this point in her life. Did you not mean that? I truly don’t see her as delusional in any way. She may be needy, which is understandable, but she has an innate business sense and though emotional is quite rational.

As for Franco, he still needs to grow up a bit more but I don’t think he’s heading down any dark path. Just struggling with how to deal with life, just like Nina. Both had experiences that set them back but both are intent on moving forward, on growing.

I agree; I loved Nina and Franco together. Said it from the beginning. And maybe they’re the endgame for each other. For now I’m okay with him and Elizabeth IF she doesn’t condescend to him…only IF she sees him as an equal. Otherwise the imbalance would bother me. I hope they find someone for Nina in the meantime. Curtis, if he And Valerie, who’s NEVER on, would be an interesting, hot couple!

@Rebecca.
Hey, Rebecca,
Yes, after rereading my comment, it does sound just as you describe. That’s because when I write, I want to say so much at the same time, sometimes my phrasing gets jumbled.
What I meant was that she could still be in her twenty year old mind; pre coma. That is, these many years are non-existent, and rightly so. Nothing to do with age but with a responsible mind.
I still feel this way. I am not sure Nina, as she is represented by the writers, can ‘handle’ a baby. Will she break-down each time the baby spits up? Or gets a fever? Or cries? As mothers, we know what nights with a newborn is like. But, it’s a soap. LOL….We never see that, do we? We just see injured, kidnapped, or dead babies. I am done with that, too.
I think that if I were to see Nina under a different light….more positively, I’d feel more confident in the choices she makes. But, as she is……that is; loses control; the instinct to physically attack; or the obsession of a baby…..like getting a new pet, is worrisome.
I love Roger. But, frankly, Franco is getting on my last nerve….tiresome. I do not like his behavior, lately. He has changed after his break-up with Nina. I can’t even put my finger on it.
Yes, they were two lost souls who found each other. I would take them back, if the story went that way.
Oh, but Rebecca!!……Curtis and Nina would fly high together….so sexy; both of them.
And, as I mentioned; you just had to have seen Michelle Stafford/Phyllis and Jeff Branson/Ronan ( Y&R) as lovers. Never have I seen so much sexual tension, so much lust, so much hot, hot, hot steam generated from a sex scene on a soap…LOL. They were inebriating.

Hey CeeCee. Whew! Glad you understood why I interpreted that way. Yes, I understand what you feel about Franco. I feel he’s good…meaning for the most part I don’t see him reverting to the crazed maniac he was written as when James Franco played him, but they’re kind of doing to him what they did to AJ. AJ was looked down upon by almost everyone…and Carly, Sonny and Jason ( his own brother! Though after the accident he was influenced by Sonny and Carly) always mocked him, blamed him, belittled him…I couldn’t stand it. I feel they’re doing the same thing with Franco. Perhaps with good reason but I’m not sure why no one in Port Charles feels he’s changed. The doctors said his past behavior was from his tumor, he’s committed no crimes since, he saved Carly from Heather, has been a father figure to Kiki, to lil Jake, made soooooo much effort to help Nina with everything…and yet he’s talked down to constantly. But it doesn’t help when he acts kinda silly or. clownish…he needs to, or the writers need to…mature him. Give him some respect from the fictional characters and from us, the viewer. They somehow need to keep him Franco-esque, lol, but make him less ridicullous.

As for Nina, the tide is totally against her on this site but I still like her. I actually think she handled herself pretty well when Ava literally cost her the baby. That girl/mom-to-be looked Ike she might just consider Nina and Ava completely blew her out of the water. And speaking of Ava, I HATE what she’s doing to Morgan. I like him and he’s trying so hard…not sure if even the writers are aware of this but it’s similar to what pt Carly did to AJ years ago. He was a recovering alcoholic, was doing well and I think she drugged him and the through alcohol all over him so people would think he relapsed. Something like that…can’t remember exactly…

Love Dillon but I think his hair seems to have gone from blond to auburn. Not ” diggin'” it! 🙂

Threw not through…and I’ll see if Youtube has those hot scenes!

@Rebecca1.
Hi, Rebecca. There are a couple of Ronan/Phyllis scenes ‘indulging’, on Utube. Only a glimpse !!
But, that is exactly the point. Every breathless kiss/nip; the hurried, sensual disrobing( almost torn off; LOL) , every move, in wild abandonment, are all very suggestive. My imagination worked over-time with those teasingly titillating scenes. That’s what I saw….it does not mean anyone else felt what I felt. This couple did it for me.

Random thoughts…

Why was Curtis dressed like he was on his way to star in the Port Charles Little Theater on the Square production of ALL THAT JAZZ?

Michelle Stafford and Maura West are amazing together and deserve better than taking turns calling one another a b***h (which was basically the same exchange Hayden/Rachel and Elizabeth had earlier in the week). I’m all for catfights but at least make the insults original.

Did anyone at the wedding stop to think that maybe Monica not being at the wedding had less to do with hospital business and more to do with the fact that she didn’t want to go to the house of THE MAN WHO MURDERED HER SON? (And while we’re on that subject, it’s ridiculous that the show hasn’t had someone tell Jason that his bestie murdered his brother AJ while he was off being recast. It seems like just the sort of thing Ava or Tracy would make a point of telling Jason.)

Why is Monica allowing Sabrina to change Elizabeth’s IV bag when she’s not on staff? If something should go wrong the hospital would be in all kinds of legal trouble (and Monica of all people should know better than to put herself in such a position after the Kerkorian lawsuit she was part of years ago).

Danny and Jake are now almost the same size. Ridiculous.

Sam and Jason have all the chemistry of peanut butter and mayonnaise.

Spinelli. I just can’t with that character.

Hayden/Rachel is neither a heroine nor a likable character no matter who you pair her with — could someone please inform the writers of this fact?

Franco’s comment to Naomi that the money trail from her to Heather would prove she was being blackmailed about Hayden/Rachel’s paternity made no sense since Naomi was supposedly investigated as part of the Raymond Berlin (master of the off-camera Ponzi scheme) investigation and no one discovered it.

Do Jean and Shelly know what a Friday cliffhanger is?

Theyv’e dumbdowned Monica-why is the chief-of-staff always in the patients rooms in the first place-me and many relatives have been in the hospital often and in different hospitals in two states and not once were the chief-of-staff in our rooms for anything…and allowing Sabrina to do that would mean Monica could loose her job but i doubt the writers will even point that mistake out!!!!…Spin suddenly able to perform marriage seemed stupid!!!

LOVE your random thoughts, Alan. You are spot on.

Everything you said, Alan. You know I hang on your every word.
Agreed. Maura and Michelle are the best of the best. No mediocrity with these two. The scene in the park? Pathetic. Shame on the writers.
It would be asking for the moon to create a scene that does not involve revenge, spite and opportunity for Ava and Nina….I realize that. Their relationship has always been in the war-zone, and it’s not going to stop anytime soon. But, please….what’s next? Hair pulling?
I have a theory about Sabrina and the IV, since the same thought occurred to me, Alan. Not that it leads to anything, LOL…..BUT:
I think that Paul, about whom, I believe Sabrina has doubts, will strike again. He will not feel safe until Liz is eliminated. How? Via IV. Now, obviously, something will go awry…… is there a possibility for Sabrina to be blamed?
No one will believe Sabrina tried to kill Liz, but installing a contaminated solution, negligently not checking it first, will have everyone sevond-guessing. Needless to say, Sabrina, the heroine, will figure it out! ….it’s Paul…Eureka!!
Your last sentence? PRICELESS!!

Sabrina is the killer!!!!…

@Jimh
Of course she is, Jimmy. LOL.

Agree with the above comment that Hayden is not a likable character no matter who you pair her with. Let’s give her the whole show on a silver platter. Ugh! So tired of her really

Ugh to Hayden:((((

Alan…I believe that BOTH Jean and Shelly do know what ‘a Friday cliffhanger is’. However, Jean and Shelly are N-O-T very good at it!!!!! N-o-p-e.

Have a good one, Alan.

Perfectly put!

Good stuff Alan!

Curtis is a square peg in a round hole! Kill him off!

Even IF you were a licensed nurse, a hospital would NEVER let a civilian touch an IV bag! Weak!

I wish Monica would kill Sonny!

Spinelli sucks!

I think Curtis dresses the way he dresses because he’s a street-wise character who brings diversity to a more realistic level where everyone doesn’t dress like they just came out of a white bread ad.

MS and MW are GOLD. Gh is so lucky to have them, they should use them together more often. I love the history background that was given to us for Nina and Ava. It’s the right time to talk about Kiki being Nina’s daughther again. I think this should happen (maybe though we need a new Kiki or a KA return) .

Wait until Nina finds her thought dead daughter-Kiki…or Nelle!!!!

Jim, did you notice how Bobby had this negative involuntary response to Nell? Maybe I am reading too much into it, but maybe, just maybe, Nell triggered an unconscious memory of how young Carly (then played by Sarah Brown) came into her life, ingratiated herself with both Tony and little Lucas, all as a secret plan to inflict harm on Bobby for giving her up for adoption. Have you noticed Nell giving Sonny that doe eyed look? Could it be that Nell is not Jax’s daughter as suggested by some, but Carly’s? Crazy thought for sure but it wouldn’t be the first time a female character’s grown child has come back to haunt them on a soap opera.

I did notice that but thought it had something to do with her sister Patty,,,but when was Carly available to have a child-she’s too busy in everybodys business…maybe Carly had a child with Tony Jones???

She’s not Jax’s daughter.

Harry…I noticed Bobby’s look as well, and do remember how Carly came into Port Charles. Just the beginning of the havoc she would eventually cause. And even Sonny seems to be a little cautious of Nelle. Hope there’s not a repeat of how he and Carly hooked up. And while I don’t think Jax is Nelle’s father, he seems to know more than he’s been sharing…he tried to stop the search for Josselyn’s donor from the beginning, and also seemed cautious about Nelle making her appearance.

Bobby was definitely suspicious Of Nell, Harry. Instinct?

Thank you Rose and Bec. I could be crazy but of course this is not a barometer of my sanity.
Did you two watch when Sarah Brown first appeared at the Brownstone apartment of Tony and Bobby Jones’? Young Carly ingratiated herself with both Tony and little Lucas during a time when Bobbie was feeling really vulnerable and bad about herself. This was after BJ’s death. In fact, Bobby was sulking on the Brownstone steps on the night of a milestone birthday because, as she put it to her brother Luke, “He’s sending me to a FAT FARM!” I remember this so well because both Tony Geary and Jackie Zeman looked like they were both about to burst out laughing. Meanwhile, the hot and nubile Carly was roller blading around in her hot pants earning a mutual admiration society between Lucas and Tony

I think Nelle is a Spencer….somehow!!

Ohhhh, it makes me so happy, even with this stupid fever, when I read your positive comments about Nina and Kiki, Jimmy. Double LOL.
YES!!! Kiki, Nelle or, for the twist of the decade, the pregnant girl in the park!! Nina would be adopting her own grand-baby. Ha!!

Interesting thought, Celia and Jim…hmm.
No Rebecca, I don’t think Jax is Nell’s father either.

@Harry.
Thank you, Harry. LOL. My ‘interesting’ thoughts are mostly thrown in there in jest, Harry, since I am hardly ever right.
But, one never knows. My facetious, little ‘jabs’ proved right on a few occations; namely the materialization of Claudette, as soon as I saw the mysterious glove; and before a name was even attached to the existence of another woman.
Then, I said Hayden and Liz were sisters. So, with all my misses, I get a couple of hits, too.
I am beginning to feel as a true GHer, right about now. LOL.

I’m not a JaSam fan, so don’t really care about the story.

However, I DO like Alexis and don’t want her to become a drunk. Why are these writers intent upon tearing down this once strong character by having her make all these bed choices this year? I hope they give Alexis an epiphany before the trial. We all know now that Paul’s going to throw the trail and thus pave the way for Julian to remain in PC. (Ugh! Hate it!) So I want to see a strong Alexis kick that jackass to the curb when he comes knocking on her door.

The scenes between Nina and Ava were riveting. Michelle and Maura are supreme actresses and exploded across the screen. It was also nice to see some story organically come out as these characters with a past crossed paths.

Exactly my point about Alexis, Rodd.
I am glad someone else feels the same way about the turn Alexis life has taken. Shame on the writers.
I know it’s a typo, Rodd….but, as most of these female characters on these soaps; they do make BED choices. So fitting…..forgive me; just couldn’t help myself. Now, that is the best inadvertent play-on words ever,,…love it!!

Alexis has been one of the most boring characters in the history of the show for over a decade. It was about time they threw her a curveball. I’m glad to see her playing less than perfect. She was always a little too self righteous for my taste.

i was bored to death with this upcoming wedding, and before people start saying i’m a liaison fan, wrong, i would want this on liz, jason is a total bore, good riddance.

I like Sam & Jason but everything about this BIG wedding was off.
It felt forced.
The guest list was? Carly and that ANNOYING laugh, no friends for Sam? Maxie, Monica MIA?
The 10 minute photo shoot. Was that a necessity?

Just off and boring actually.

I’m frustrated that TPTB obviously believe that Ava has to be in EVERY scene/storyline!

Isn’t it a bit like the pot calling the kettle black to have Ava interfere in Nina’s life???

The character is a canker sore on GH and needs to go away!

Who in the viewing audience wants to see her–a killer–onstage every day? (Of course, we see a number of killlers on scene EVERY day, don’t we? Says something about GH and TPTB, don’t you think?

Away with her, I say!

(I know; I know–she won a EMMY! So what? Seems ANYONE can. No big deal anymore! ) 🙁

I am surprised the set was still standing with MW and MS in the same scene–those two are major set munchers.
Yes, I know Ava is a horrid person, Nancy, but I was on her side. Nina has no business trying to get her creepy hands on a baby after what she pulled with Avery. She’s a self contained creep show and should not be inflicted upon an innocent baby.
Furthermore, I do wish they would stop with the damn “I-wanna-baby” story lines. It’s boring, redundant and nobody cares.

Hey there, Harry!
I agree re boring “I-wanna-baby” storyline–B-O-R-I-N-G–and so very retro–a throwback to “barefoot and pregnant” days re women.
And neither character–Ava nor Nina should be “inflicted” upon us, the loyal audience. 🙂

Don’t say *munchers* lol!!
sorry, couldn’t resist. ……

hate, hate, hate these damn baby stories.

Sorry, Ces. My mind really wasn’t going there but I can certainly see your point.
Did I ever tell you that Beavis and Butthead are my best friends?

Lolololo…Harry and Ces!!!!!!!!!

As far as I am concerned Ava can be in every scene every day because at least she drives what little story there is and creates conflict unlike Sonny who is in every scene just to rescue everyone and shine his heavenly mobster AJ killin’ wisdom.

(And yes, I think it says something that GH is obsessed with keeping criminals front and center — but let’s be honest practically everyone on this show has killed someone at this point including Laura and Alexis, two women who are supposed to be moral centers for the show.)

You bet, Alan!!!!! I told you, I think your words should be written in stone.

Alan, Ava is growing on me. When the writing for this character calms down and stops being so damn gum chewing campy, Maura West shows me what a good actress she really is and why she has received so many accolades.

LOL!!
I Feel exactly the same way, except about NINA!

She needs to go. She does not belong on this show. They’ve tried and failed every love interest, every story, every scene she hogs up …. take her away. please.

Ces…y-e-s…EXACTLY!!!!! The character of Nina needs to go away…PERIOD!!!!!

Have a good one.

Jaybird, glad someone agrees! Have a great rest of your day!

Well, I agree too, Ces. It’s just I have made the same point over and over and I am sure folks are tired of me repeating the same old lament.

Nina character is awful and unnecessary.

Haha Harry! I will keep repeating it until Nina is gone. Of course She’s FVs pet and not going anywhere.

As long as Sonny and Carly are there, I have no interest in watching and I won’t. Thanks for the warning !

beautiful

this is the standard of all that GH created ?

Sonny and Carly ?

till GH right the wrong and LESS IS MORE… they should be supporting… and not driving

I don’t know which is worse…

it’s Sonny

with chalkboard scratching and clawing her annoyance.. Carly is on even par

I think Carly is channeling Laura Wright. This isn’t even the same character! She’s all giggly and annoying as all hell. I’m with you.

In my dreams I am hoping that Nina somehow comes into possession of that flashdrive with Ava’s confession. I want to see Ava hopping just a little bit. I love Maura and Michelle together and I am willing to take a little over the top drama with those two. They are pure FIRE together. From the very first confrontation to the whole baby stealing to this most recent encounter Michelle Stafford and Maura West prove why they are the best at what they do. I loved the scenes with them. I am not a huge soap opera wedding fan because it is always just so sappy. Never realistic and manufactured romance. I love Billy Miller in anything because that man makes my butter melt. Geez I love that guy. And Kelly Monaco is always a consummate professional. I want to say that I don’t miss Steve Burton as Jason. He did a fine job but after watching him on Y&R for all this time I think it was a one time miracle because his portrayal of Dylan is so one sided and boring I can’t understand how he has lasted this time. He can figure out any crime on Y&R but he can’t figure out the truth about his non baby??? Anyway back to GH. I love what is going on on the show. It’s moving. It’s got mystery, drama and a great cast. Then there is Y&R bringing it too. I love those shows. Rock on GH. More Ava and Nina and toot sweet with it!

Mateo, thanks for the backup on Billy Miller reactions. The voice, the smile, the eyes and hair…the guy makes me weak in the knees even when I’m lying down.

Love your last line Soaphound!

Rumor is Vanessa Marcil is coming back to GH as Brenda Barrett. I hope this is true. Vanessa is a terrific actress.

Well as usual it’s a barrage of discontented viewers and negative comments! It appears fans who are happy don’t post! (And, yes…there are happy viewers.)

I liked the wedding. My only gripe is that Lucas wasn’t there ( I don’t believe Sam was at his wedding either). And, LOL, poor Morgan. Guess they forgot to invite their other son. And I absolutely agree with some of Alan’s post above…why hasn’t Jason asked about AJ…does he know Sonny killed him? Will he forgive him and move right along as Michael has? And, ridiculous for Monica to even be cordial to Sonny…

The wedding: I thought it was perfectly charming with a foreshadowing of more of Alex’s troubles. The photo ops were cute, the simple wedding attire was nice, Spinelli was adorably warm as always. As for Sam and Jason I think they are great together. They’re very “non soapy.” For me, they come across as a very real couple with a great bond, an easy rapport and their scenes together (when they’re not off chasing people who set Jason up!) is one of the more believable, relatable, realistic couples. The dialogue is usually family oriented…discussing their son, the baby, Sam’s family…I BELIEVE them right done to their cuddly, snugly flirtations.

Rebecca, they are sweet together and as you say, perhaps they are a realistic and grown up couple. That is also what I though about Laura and Kevin before he made that stupid mistake (which was totally out of character) and Laura took a hike. I think soap viewers want fire works 24/7.
I don’t hate JaSam, but I don’t love them either and that’s just fine with me.

I don’t think many know what they want…so how could the writers! Alex and Julian had fireworks but she was deemed ” too old” for lust. Nina and Franco were passionate about each other but were deemed too crazy. Lulu and Dante too boring. Morgan too dark, Michael too light, Sonny too mob, Finn too quirky, Liz too goody goody, Sam too blah, women too weak, too much mob, not enough mob, bring back the vets, the vets were before my time…it’s EXHAUSTING! LOL!

Yes, sigh, Kevin was bad…very, very bad. They’ll make up.

Lucas and Brad probably couldn’t make it to the wedding because they couldn’t find their way out of that efficiency closet they call an apartment.

LOL Alan, you’d think a doctor and a radiologist could afford a much bigger closet…hopefully they’ll upgrade if they ever find their way back on screen!

LoL Alan. Those poor guys wedded themselves into oblivion.

Well said, Rebecca! Happy viewer here. I’ve honestly stopped coming here as much as I used to, because I can’t stand to read the constant negativity. Every time there is a GH story, it’s the same thing. It’s become so predictable and has become a major turn off for me.

There’s so much negativity and hatred in the world today, I watch my soaps to have some fun and get away from the real world. And that’s what GH is for me, and always has been for the past 36 years, a fun escape. Is it a perfect show? No, far from it. There are storylines and characters I like, and characters and storylines I don’t like.

But GH is certainly not the awful show you would think it is by reading some of the comments here. Trust me, if people think the show is bad now, they should have been here in the late 80s-early 90s before Wendy Riche and Claire Labine took over.

Thanks GH1980! I agree. There is a lot of negative in the world as well as in each of our lives at one time or another. It’s great to be able to escape…particularly in a genre that allows us to walk into a fictional world on a daily basis! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve said this on a few posts. I too complain. We all do to an extent because we all have our likes and dislikes etc…but, LOL, there is not one topic where the majority of posts are not derogatory.

Keep posting. I can use a fellow happy viewer! 🙂

GH1980…I feel much as you do you about the negativity, and I must admit I have contributed to at times, mainly in the guise of improving, ie: too many characters or dead end stories. Same with the daily “news” which I really have cut back on. I realize everyone has a right to their opinions, but I just get tired of the naysaying after while. It probably would have been the same back in the “vets” days but there was no MF, or today’s social media which feeds on conflict. So I just watch GH and enjoy it for the most part.

Lol, Rebecca. That’s it in a nutshell. What will it take to make us happy??
You’re right! Kevin and Laura will make up. That’s one couple I like seeing together.

Rebecca – I loved the wedding! I couldn’t stop smiling! I loved the photo shoots which I thought were very sweet. I absolutely loved the retro dress – classic elegance! Like you, I think that Sam and Jason are great together. They’re very “non soapy” in that they come across as a very real couple with a great bond, an easy rapport with their scenes together with their family.

Thanks Abruzzfan. The entire lil event was very touching. Nothing wrong with warm ,fuzzy moments in the midst of chaos…that’s what keeps us…and soaps…going!

I’m with you/Rebecca and all other well wishers.

I liked Sam looking like Maggie the Cat from ” Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” as played by Elizabeth Taylor.
Yes, I am that shallow.

I agree. I love Nina. I just hope she will be shown in a different light.
I think Franco killed something inside of her. She feels inadequate as a woman, a failure as a human being. Every forward step she takes is met with two steps back.
I, also, think that Franco confuses her. On one hand he told her he did not want an issue from his body be crested due to the mental history in the family. Fine, I get that. But, he refused adoption, as well.
The, he turns around and gets on with Liz with a ready-made-family. He is a great father-figure to Jake.mso, Nina must feel like the lowest woman on the totem pole ( my thanks to Gene Pitney for borrowing his words [HEARTBREAKER]. LOL.
Ava’s viciousness will go down in history. Ad I said, she and Nina acted as catty little girls….”did not”, “did too”-kind of behavior. For shame. (Writers).
Nonetheless, I will grant Maura’s finesse of circling and taunting Nina, like a viper ready to strike, who, in turn, did not disappoint, either……the guarded, furtive and child-like look of insecurity in her eyes was well delivered, albeit more of the same.
Dillon? I was not a fan, at first. Now? LOVE him!!!! I love his unrequited love for Kiki. I love his patience. I love his heart. I love his biceps; his glutes; his shoulders.
But, Rebecca….there’s one thing I definitely do not love: stretch jeans( which he was wearing) on men. I was glad the jeans were not skin-tight. On a woman, YES, absolutely….but, on a guy? Nooooooo!!!!..nor do I like skinny jeans on men. LOL.

Lol…girl/women cat fights are standard soap fare. OLTL used to do it all the time with Blair and Tea. I’m sure Erica on AMC had her skirmishes with other women. And Carly? She’s having either verbal or physical fights as well.

Loved Dillon from the beginning. Great looking guy…can singe, dance and act. Didn’t notice his jeggings…(how’d I miss that???) probably too distracted by his blond hair gone auburn! But skinny jeans are a thing of beauty compared to speedos! Cringe…

i don’t like how bm plays jason. too aggrressive. jason was agressive w the mob, not the people in his life he protected. i found him to be to strong toward the end w elizabeth and rude w carly. however, i do like the actor and see why people like him. i think it was just some very confusing writing. i watched him on y and r and that his skills were amazing there. i don’t enjoy him w sam. sorry everything sounds so bad. i just really haven’t enjoyed the jasam reunion. i thought it would tie everything together. did i miss when elizabeth and him had a conversation after his memories came back? i can’t believe they didn’t do that.

UGH !

i’m tired even thinking about ; it

on the cover of SOD

a picture of Sam and Jason in wedding garb

I don’t know what the big fuss is

they just got engaged….

well heck… hopefully they’ll get married and disappear

ps: even still… they did not look a happy couple make

High five, Patrick!!

Great Episode!!! 🙂

Sam and Jason are supposedly a super couple..
ALL supercouples are destined to have some sort of wedding irruption, we wait for it ….

Sam and Jason are so boring that their wedding was ”weak” ”uneventful” ”BLAH”..
And that speaks volumes of the couple= ”bland” ”YAWN” ”ZZZzzzZZzzz ..

Sam and Jason are a total snoooooze fest = FAILED !

Wow, I agree–once again! (This is getting to be a habit!) 🙂

I was thrilled with the wedding. I love Billy Millers chemistry with Kelly Monico. During the photo’s, I cried, because they were so beautiful, and had such great meaning. I loved when Spanelli came running down the stairs, and right into SAMs arms. I loved the look between Jason, and Spanelli, when Spanelli lifted his head, and looked at Jason. Jason and Spanelli’s look, was of pure love. I loved everything about the wedding so far. I loved that Jason said he wished Monica could have been there. The only people I missed, was Lucas, Morgan, and Kiki. I always love when Ava and Nina are in scenes together. They are two power houses, but I felt so bad for Nina, because I love Nina. I love Franco too, but not with Liz, he belongs with Nina. All and all, I love General Hospital, and it’s all I have left to watch. I never miss it, because it’s also quality time with my son, who has been watching my soap operas, since JR high school. It’s the only time, I ever see him now. But come 2:00, my son is always downstairs watching with me, and I love it.

Susan LOL…your post belongs up above under my post and the other “happy viewers!”

By the way…Julian and Alexis are both hallucinating. He saw her in jail, she saw him at the bar and the wedding. Hmmmmm…

Why are Jason and Sam so boring? I think the writers instead of being so desperate to write Jason as a romantic lead for Sam should have invested more time into who and what he is is amd going to do for a living etc. Bringing a new Jason on was the perfect opportunity to give him all his memories back and kick off some ElQ/Quartermaine buisness amd family stories. Jason could have also been recruited by the Wsb, which would usher in a return to adventure form for Gh. With this one character they can change the pace and tone of the show.

Love Sam and Jason, not sure about the boring comments, they always seem to keep the fire going between them. They are a super hot and good looking couple and the way they look at each other is scorching. And isn’t that what you want in a soap…love in the afternoon. Jasam are ride or die for each other and that is super hot!

Yes!

I , for one was happy to see the last couple episodes Jason being more like Jake , and being fun and light hearted . Not that I am fan of those two but at least he wasn’t being BLANK
My random other random thought s, if I were Paul , I’d
point the finger at Ava , since she’s walking around with the drugs and syringes , duh
What’s the possibility that someone is drugging Alexis , all one would have to do a spike one of her many liquor bottles .
Also I agree it’s odd Morgan, Bobby and Lucas aren’t ar the wedding – Nor even a mention of Tracy , who is now friends with or Dylan . Lulu and Maxie were all over Sonny and Carly’s last wedding planning and attending also – no Dante either , odd since they just cheated death together twice this year

They’d all be there if in reality ABC didn’t have to watch their budget. Probably won’t ever have many of the cast together at big events like we used to and while none of us like it, it’s unfortunately the price ( no pun intended) we have to pay to keep the show on the air.

This is what happens when the writers start a Serial Killer storyline before they’ve decided on WHO the killer will be, and WHY he is targeting his victims. This is also a prime example of one of the common weaknesses of the past several regimes on GH, namely their inability to come up with believable motivations for their bad guys. Your typical “Evil Genius” or “Criminal Mastermind,” is only as smart as the person writing them, and it’s a good bet that there are no geniuses on this writing staff, evil or otherwise. Let’s face it; if these writers were more adept at creating coherent action/adventure or mystery storylines, they wouldn’t be working for a daytime soap.

Given the budget constraints of a modern soap I am happy with the wedding. Yes it could have been bigger and more badass but there was so much sweetness and chemistry between the two, I couldn’t help but smile. The only other couple right now that makes me feel that way is Finn and Hayden.

I don’t condone most of Sonny’s actions but how come so many people here dispise him but shower Ava with hugs and kisses when she is no better! Sheis a cruell bitch!

I think the difference between people’s reactions to Sonny and Ava is that Ava is treated like the town pariah for her actions while Sonny is “respected” and always portrayed as a hero. No one ever calls him out for murdering AJ while Ava’s every indiscretion is always thrown in her face.

I think Sonny would work better if he were played as the perpetual underdog mobster trying to make good and gain acceptance from the residents of Port Charles but never getting it. There’s no rooting value for a character that has everything and still breaks every law in the book without consequences (and is portrayed as a hero for it).

I cannot stand the fact that Jason doesnt react to Sonny murdering his brother. It is either ignored or Jason hasnt remembered that yet? I wish Jason would walk way from Sonny all together!

True, Timm!

That’s the problem with GH—the bad guys and gals never really pay for their crimes and sins. They get their freedom and their children.

Well, the writers write them into a corner and then have to be “Clever” and find a way to keep them out of jail to keep them on canvas. Same with Victor at Y&R, he does dastardly things and rarely pays!

Whoa hold the farm I thought and I confess never been a regular viewer of GH but I thought Jaon killed AJ the first time on the stair or something. Once Jason had brain damage he could have cared less about his family look what he did to everybody he is a loser they built this show around a brain dead loser. Laura Wright is making me sick with this all over him just disgusting

In other words Jason has never cared about his family so crawl up Sonny’s backside he likes the view! Please leave Luz out of this mess no one deserves Jason more then Sam / Annie Oakley who watched his kid get kidnapped she is a loser also

No k/Kay Jason never killed AJ. Jason was actually close to his family, a very good son and wanted to be a doctor. It was only after he was in a car accident with AJ, who was driving drunk if I remember or heard correctly, that he wakened with no recollection of his previous life and Sonny took him in. Even when Jason turned into Sonny’s bodyguard he was still good hearted.

Ahhh, Timmmy, Timmmy, Timmmy!!!!! Why? That’s easy, my dear friend. When “Ava is on stage, every move is enticing….her expressions authentic….her art skillful, her projection impeccable….Maura’s acting is perfect. She is one polarizing Grande Dame!!!! Sonny? Meh…..

Sonny has more talent in ONE dimple than Ava has in her whole body, my dear friend!

@Timmm.
Awwww, my Timmmy. You wound me. LOL. Funny how differently we see characters.
Don’t get me wrong, Ava is despicable….no better than Sonny. But, his intimidation tactics do not pass muster for me, albeit they’re both odious.
But, you must see what great of an actress Maura is. To me, her expressions say more than I want to read in them.
I had no idea you were a Sonny fan, Timmmy. All this time!!!!! LOL. later, love.

Re: Jason’s indifference to AJ’ s murder by the numero uno delusional capo….
That is one big, fat conundrum, my Timmmy. It’s like AJ has been completely forgotten. What’s up with that? That old, old, idiom….. elephant in the room, I say! As far as I’m concerned, it does not say much of Jason’s integrity.
The same could be said of Monica. She never confronted Sonny. All she does is roam the halls of GH. Come alive, people!!

Honey, first of all, I’m pulling your chain in regards to Sonny! [If I could just pinch you on the cheek!] I do like Sonny. I love Maurice. I dont like Ava BUT Maura is a wonderful actress. Speaking of, our buddy over at Y&R, Victor, are you impressed with his mourning scene with Michael? How about the Mustache saying he was sorry to Chelsea. Victor NEVER apologizes! Later love!

@Timmm.
Heyyy, Timmmy,
Pulling my chain? …qu’est-ce que c’est?. DOUBLE LOL.
I thought you were serious, my love. See how naive I am? I took you seriously. Everyone I know does that to me….I fall for it each time!!!! I am wising up to them; and you.
Sometimes, it is very hard to read you and Harry. Sardonic, dry humor. More fool I, eh? LOL.
No, I was not impressed with Victor’s show of penitence. He is a peacock without the display of those beautiful array of colorful tail-feathers.
I was moved by Chelsea, though. She was outstanding. I just finished watching.
I subbed today and Tuesday……lots of catching up….
Anyway, Chelsea was so into her ‘groove'( is that a 70’s thing? Farout!! ), that Jess ( Jill) was crying real tears. No one was crying except her. And, so was I. Her emotional demeanor and words really did a number on me.
‘Nite, Timmmy.

Gotta say it, Liz comes between them without meaning to. I was thinking of her broken heart though as of hearing of Sam/Jason wedding as Sabrina’s noticing her signs on the motoring of her health.
Then there’s tuff guy who I happen to like, Sonny saying why call you to Jason I thought harsh. They have their little click and want to keep it that way.
I think Sam & Jason are boring as Carly and Sonny are.
I didn’t like Sam telling Danny I love you and says nothing to Jake as she turned to him.
I think Griffin instead of Franco would be nice change up for Liz.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think they mesh well together. BM just has that personality where he can make his character funny with the way he delivers his lines. Since Jason had no memory BM was able to bring something different to the character that he probably wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. I believe KM does the same for her character as well because of this new Jason. They play off each other quite nicely I believe it helps that their friends in real life. This is just my opinion but I believe the reason everyone is so turned off is because they aren’t getting good storylines. Or they just don’t like them paired together.

Could the wedding be anymore boring? Well, that is how I would describe monotone Sam and no personality Jason. Now, every episode we have to hear about her boring pregnancy, morning sickness, and cravings.

GH, you’re sitting on a nuclear device that will level Port Charles. What are you waiting for Nina and Ava. Make Kiki Nina’s daughter and watch the fireworks. Once the dust settles, let it be discovered that Silas is not Kiki’s biological father but a one night stand Nina had when she caught Ava and Silas in bed. Have this one night stand bump into Nina at an airport somewhere while she’s on Crimson business. Have him follow her back to PC. Once the truth is out, Kiki is an accident that leaves her comatosed . The doctors also discover she’s pregnant. Now this will allow Nina to a raise a child from birth and Kiki dies.

THIS WEEK on GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dex and Josslyn’s Relationship at a Crossroad, Jason Contacts Diane For Help

Previews for the week of March 18-22nd on General Hospital, plus the latest promo for the daytime drama series, share that Jason’s (Steve Burton) return has already affected so many lives, especially given the fact that several key people aka Michael (Chad Duell), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Danny (Asher Antonyzn) know his location at this moment.

Eventually, Jason (Steve Burton) will get in touch with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), from what one can only assume is legal help. However, John (Adam J. Harrington) seems hot on Jason’s trail, but the question remains, if Jason was working for John as seemingly revealed in a flashback to keep out of prison, are the two working together … or are they mortal enemies?

Meanwhile, it looks like its curtain for now in the relationship between Dex (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy). After Nina (Cynthia Watros) dropped a bombshell about Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Joss gets an earful of information from Dex, when he admits that he was in Cyrus’s hospital room to kill him on orders from Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Photo: ABC

According to Soap Opera Digest, Eden McCoy shared, ” I think what’s different about this situation, and what pushes her over the edge, is that it wasn’t, like, a self-defense situation. It wasn’t at a shoot-out. He wasn’t protecting Sonny. Cyrus wasn’t doing anything! And I think that really scares her, to see him in the light of voluntarily killing someone in their sleep. That is very different from, like, shooting someone that’s shooting at Sonny. She is just in shock, like she can’t actually believe it.” As told by McCoy, “At that point, Josslyn says.’I can’t do this anymore,’ and makes her exit.”

Take a look below at the rest of the official teasers for the week.

REPORT: General Hospital Alum, Robyn Bernard, Homeless & Battling Addiction, Before Her Passing at 64

Robyn Bernard passed away earlier this week on March 12th, when her body was found in an empty field, which is allegedly behind a 7/11, and some trailer homes, in San Jacinto, California. The actress and singer, and former General Hospital alum, played Terry Brock from 1984-1990 and was 64-years-old at the time of her death.

New reporting on the life that she led over the past year, and longtime mental health issues and struggles with addiction, paint a picture that may have led to her death. Although it should be noted, the toxicology report is currently not completed or released. However, the sheriff department stated that no foul play is suspected.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, friends of Bernard spoke on how she had become part of their homeless community, and that she she struggled with alcohol addiction, and had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia through the latter part of her life.

Photo: ABC

In their accounts, things went south for Robyn when in 2014 she moved to the community in San Jacinto, which is 84 miles from Los Angeles. At that time, she moved into a trailer park for senior citizens and was beloved for her singing by her neighbors.

The report also notes that in 2015, tragically, Bernard’s trailer park home was burned to the ground taking 7 of her 8 beloved cats and all of her possessions. After that, Robin stayed with many people of the community, but the previous management chased her off of the premises. She then broke up with her boyfriend and eventually stopped communicating with her parents.

Bernard’s final home was in a community called Parkview Estates, facilitated by Riverside County’s Adult Protective Services Department.  According to police records obtained by Daily Mail, through 2017-2019, Bernard faced numerous DUI drugs and alcohol arrests during that period.

Joni Woods, who lives opposite the space where Bernard’s trailer once was said: ‘I used to see her (Robyn) around town all the time pushing her shopping carts. She always had four or five of them, and I always felt so bad for her.” Robyn’s former boyfriend, Dan Berlin, expressed that the last time he had seen the GH alum was two years ago, “She was out there, talking to herself in a nonsense way. She was a schizophrenic.’

The friends of Bernard shared: “She used to say that Hollywood screwed her over,” adding, “They did her dirty and that’s why she ended up living in San Jacinto of all places.”

Share your thoughts on this tragic story of the last part of Robyn’s life, which again, stresses the importance of trying to find the appropriate help for those dealing with mental illness, being homeless, and addiction.

While ‘General Hospital’s’ Dante Lays in a Coma; Dominic Zamprogna Has Some Great New Portrait Headshots

On General Hospital, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has thus far survived two bullets to the chest, and is laying in a coma. Sam (Kelly Monaco), his lady love, is by his side and beside herself after learning her ex Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is alive and is of the belief that Jason have been the shooter who tried to take out Dante.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) has been wracked with guilt after he wasn’t so kind to his son, before the PCPD cop got shot. Meanwhile, Jason is hiding out at the Quartermaine boat house trying to recover from the gun shot wound he received.

While Dante’s life is still hanging in the balance, it appears that his portrayer, Dominic Zamprogna, took a diverse range of headshot and portrait photos under the eyes of talented photographer Jackson Davis. The photos were posted on Davis’ Instagram account.

Photo: ABC

A few former GH castmates commented on the photos including Marc Anthony Samuel (ex-Felix) who expressed: “Dante, Dante, Dante…,” and Mark Lawson (ex-Dustin) posted, “Dom!!!! Handle yo’ biz.”

Zamprogna joined General Hospital back in 2009 and has been nominated four times for a Daytime Emmy Award throughout his time thus far on the ABC daytime drama series.

So, what do you think will happen to Dante? Will he wake up and be just fine, or will he have another medical condition? What do you think of Dominic’s new headshots? Comment below.
